<p>Rising Storm DB.</p><p> </p><p>

My attempt to rush TWA into Regional size before the industry crash caused by the 1992 steroid scandal is likely about to fail, and we're cutting back from a weekly hourly show to a monthly 2 hour event that just happens to be televised once this deal ends. Gotten some good pop out of it, but the early death of Joel Goodhart and takeover by Jim Crockett Jr. has left me in an odd position as Jim wants to change our hardcore product, but hasn't said to what yet. However, we did get in the NWA, so the regional battles aren't killing us as much as they should.</p><p> </p><p>

Currently have an early Cactus Jack and Steve Austin tag teaming, they were planed to feud with the Fantastics, but Tommy developed a painkiller addiciton, and as a PPA company, I couldn't send him to rehab and had to let him go. Balls Mahoney and RVD are doing a feud that's going okish, and I have the bad Crew against a trio I've named the Womanizers (Dino Casanova, Johnny Hotbody, and Larry Winters(. Somehow, the group of weird perverts is the babyfaces in this, but the crowd loves them.</p><p> </p><p>

The continued drug problem of Rogers, combined with a stint with Bill Watts as our Road Agent, has left locker morale in the toilet but it's slowly clawing back, and should come back once everyone stops being pissed about when I decided to bury Rogers first instead of firing him to suck his pop to up and comers, despite showing up high constantly.</p>

<p>PPV done quite well, main event did worse than expected but I don't mind. Here are the results everyone:</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/26f823da4a1c5c27017b585e9e541ebb" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/26f823da4a1c5c27017b585e9e541ebb</a></p><p> </p><p>

Now there is only a month till the grandest stage of them all-- SuperClash!</p><p> </p><p>

The card at SuperClash as of now feud wise looks like this:</p><p> </p><p>

-The Diamond Studd vs. Ric Flair in a 60-minute iron man match for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship.</p><p>

-Ultimate Warrior & The Southern Playboys vs. Sid Vicious & Diesel.</p><p>

-Shawn Michaels vs. Brian Pillman in a 2/3 falls match for the AWA International Championship. </p><p>

-The Nasty Boys vs. The Ebony Experience in a tables match for the AWA World Tag Team titles.</p><p>

-Detective Mike Buentello vs. Steve Austin with special guest referee, Michael P.S. Hayes.</p><p>

-Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero in a 2/3 Lucha Libre match for the AWA Light Heavyweight championship.</p><p> </p><p>

I've been building up these feuds for a while so I'm positive that SuperClash will do really well. I'm unsure how the rest of the card will look at the moment but now let me quickly explain some things on that WrestleRock PPV. Billy-Bob McMichaels was a regen who joined the game world around 4 years ago named Clyde Naess. I gave him Davey Boy Smiths photo as DBS passed away in the game. McMichaels joined AWA wrestling under the ring name "Ace Sharkey" homage to his mentor, Ed Sharkey. He was used primarily as a jobber. He then got re-packaged as "All Star" Ace Knockout and was managed by Slick, the idea behind this character is that Slick says he is the best thing to happen to boxing and he can knock ANYONE out. It was short lived however as the whole storyline fell through. Now that leads him to this newest character-- Billy-Bob McMichaels. This gimmick is a racist character, after being 'injured' by Kole (Booker T) he came back a month later with Col. DeBeers as we all know is known for his racist gimmick. Col. DeBeers pitched the idea to Billy-Bob to take back AWA. So far McMichaels and DeBeers have called out Kole & Kane numerous times but to no avail, so McMichaels has been defeating other black wrestlers in a bid to gain there attention. I'm not sure how long I plan on keeping this storyline going on for at the moment, but it's helping getting him over and I really do plan on giving him a good push as he as good star quality and amazing charisma and mic skills.</p>

I've been so focused on booking Vader as a dominant monster heel that I've booked myself into a corner now. Since his debut two years ago he's destroyed my whole main event scene and lost clean only once and that was to Undertaker at Wrestlemania 11. Not too sure what my options are right now. He's more or less been the consistent champ since 94 and I feel I should have him drop the belt to create new stars and help progress my main event scene.

My options right now: Have him drop the belt in an upcoming fatal four way at King of the Ring where he doesn't get pinned, possibly to a face Bret/Razor or heel Diesel. Wait for HBK to return from rehab and have him 'upset' Vader at Wrestlemania 13 in a rematch from the previous year. Have a returning Sycho Sid defeat him at Summerslam or have Cactus Jack take the belt from him at Survivor Series in a continuation storyline from Royal Rumble 1996 that sees Mankind morph into Dude Love then back to Cactus Jack as a means to defeat Vader.

So not sure what direction to take but I feel I should take the belt off him before or at Wrestlemania 13.

Whole Show got a 94 rating, and it was my best Wrestlemania yet! I had two Womens and Mens Titles because we'd just come off a brand split and I thought instead of having one get vacated now, why not have each champion come out and say their title is the best. From now on the World Title and Vixxens Title will be vacated.

My first 100 rated show! SuperClash 9 was a real success, here are the results everyone!:

https://gyazo.com/ae453ad2160b7f3679e81b034f33d5a4

The Diamond Studd and Ric Flair will continue to feud with each other after the iron match ended with 2 falls for the both of them so both men still have a lot to prove with who is the better wrestler.

I'm unsure who Shawn Michaels will feud with now that he is AWA International champion however it's currently pointing to Steve Austin who has just ended his feud with Michael P.S. Hayes by defeating his personal detective, Mike Buentello (Ray Traylor) P.S. Hayes was the special guest ref but after he was knocked down Mike Choida took over. Eddie Guerrero will now feud with Mysterio for the AWA Light Heavyweight championship. And with the tag titles the new #1 contenders will be determined at the June PPV, AWA Team Challenge series, where the winner of the tournament will earn themselves a shot at the World Tag Team titles. The current favourites to win it are:

-The Faces Of Fear (Haku & Tama)

-Hardcore Haven (Cactus Jack & Terry Funk)

-The team of Michael P.S. Hayes & Detective Mike Buentello

-The Blue Bloods (The returning "Lord" Steven Regal & Hunter Hearst Helmsley)

The TV title was just won back by Savio Vega however I plan on returning the title back to Mike Awesome or Raven very soon, or perhaps giving Marcus Bagwell his first title run.

<p>QAW end of 2017 report:</p><p> </p><p>

The wrestling industry and the economy is smoking hot, and so 2017 has been a very good year for QAW. Coming into the year with $300k, it became increasingly clear that making money was not going to be a problem, and by the end of the year, we were touching monthly profits of $100k. </p><p> </p><p>

Financial report:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/aea2ee508c3d902ce55f421e1393dbf8.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/aea2ee508c3d902ce55f421e1393dbf8.jpg</a></p><p> </p><p>

We have grown to be the nr 4 company in the USA, largest of the regional companies. Getting to cult is going to take a long while, and it doesn't feel like I'm in a terrible hurry. Sure it is annoying to get workers poached by USPW, but it is a nuisance, never any devastating blows. We have joined COTT, mostly as a non-aggression thing. It's nice to know that a bunch of companies won't move in on our turf, and being a company where Lucha is a big part of the product, it is nice being able to borrow talent from OLLIE when needed.</p><p> </p><p>

Popularity (Jan 17 - Jan 18):</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/58278854d09e5e17d0f54b391be1a6bb.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/58278854d09e5e17d0f54b391be1a6bb.jpg</a></p><p> </p><p>

Individually, there have been several good stories over the year. Lauren Easter won the Contender's Crown in July, and almost immediately went on maternity leave and just recently had a baby. We signed Paige Croft, and it has been very amusing using her as a blonde petite cross between Pentagon Jr and Brock Lesnar who just loves to tear bend people's arms in unnatural ways with her variety of submission holds. She has been a terror in the best possible way. </p><p> </p><p>

Then there are the Bubblegum Brawlers - Christy Higgins and Teresa Perez seemed destined to linger forever on the bottom end of the card, jobbing to wrestlers with brighter futures. But when they got together in a tag team everything clicked and when they got a couple of wins their popularity just sky rocketed and since the New Year's finale they're sitting at the top of the tag team division as the only babyface title holders we have in the company, wearing a belt that has become as prestigious as the world title belt, maxed out at 100 (A*). A level it only got to once they became champions.</p><p> </p><p>

We signed Melody, and she walked straight into the main event scene and a feud with the Bad Girls club that I have high hopes for. The Bad Girls Club, Foxxy LaRue (current World Champion though probably not holding it for long), Capitano (my UC) and Laura Flame are my equivalent of the Atrocious Alliance. </p><p> </p><p>

Finally, Zoe Amiss is ready for her big return after 9 months off for her torn ACL. I'm not quite sure where she'll fit in yet, but there will be a lot of fresh matchups for her, so that makes booking easier.</p><p> </p><p>

The roster is a bit big, one or two workers will likely be let go within the coming months, just because it's hard to find time for them all on the match cards.</p><p> </p><p>

The complete roster:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/33f90326ea9dd5f473a5cf2690657bea.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/33f90326ea9dd5f473a5cf2690657bea.jpg</a></p><p> </p><p>

So yeah, that's where my save sits. The owner goals are very simple, I need to save up another $150k over the next two years, and I have some restrictions on the kind of wrestlers I can sign, nothing I would have done anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

I think restructuring and freshening up some of my storylines might be on the card next. Some works, some are a bit lazy place holders, simmering conflicts where I know I can always throw in a brawl to get some heat.</p>

<p>Well, that's it, I got my first "start" lifted up from my ranks (playing as Supernaturals, a small company in Mid West, USA).</p><p> </p><p>

At first I spotted Sara Marie York being taken from QAW and AAA by USPW and thought "maaan, that must hurt, she was their champion and always in their best matches".</p><p> </p><p>

Well, NOTBPW has picked Zoe Ammis, whom I was thinking of giving a belt to and various other plans. *crumples papers and throws them in the bin with a grunt*</p><p>

So *that's* how it feels :|</p><p> </p><p>

Plus, my next show in 3+ weeks from now, so I guess I won't even have time for a passing of the torch match eh?</p>

<p>I've always been fascinated by Big Smack Scott, he seems like so much fun to write for and a really entertaining midcarder with a good tag team all the while being pretty unmanageable backstage. </p><p> </p><p>

In my 2016 SWF game the Pain Alliance won the tag titles at Nothing to Lose and on the following episode I got an incident involving Big Smack & Kurt Laramee; Scott swung a punch at Laramee but ended up getting beat up. All I could picture now was my tag champions hating each other and Scott hating me, causing more problems and eventually forcing me to fire him which has happened every SWF game I've played.</p><p> </p><p>

I gave him a stern warning and amazingly it worked. Scott improved his behaviour, got a morale boost and isn't even a negative influence on my backstage report. If he keeps this up I may be tempted to give him a big push, especially since Laramee is in Time Decline but Scott isn't. Meanwhile I think Laramee deserves a bonus for knocking Scott out.</p>

<p>Just done Backlash 2019, it was pretty good. No Pre-Show matches though, it's only a week after Mania.</p><p> </p><p>

1. Rollins & Swagger beat The Ascension (75)</p><p>

- Kinda just filler to get Rollins & Swagger on the show and start out well</p><p> </p><p>

2. Paige © v Sasha Banks rematch Hype (99)</p><p> </p><p>

3. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper Hype Video (100)</p><p> </p><p>

4. The New Nation © beat The Briscoes to retain their Tag Titles (82)</p><p>

- Mandatory rematch for the ex-champs to end the rivalry.</p><p> </p><p>

5. Bray Wyatt veat Luke Harper (85)</p><p>

- Pretty sure it got alot better rating than the Mania match, due to going less time. End of the Wyatt/Harper feud, Harper will disappear for a while before coming back near Summerslam maybe.</p><p> </p><p>

6. Rusev v John Cena Feud Hype (100)</p><p> </p><p>

7. Austin Aries © beat Jason Jordan to retain US Title (75)</p><p>

- Pretty much jobbed Jordan out for the match because Aries didn't have a feud anymore. Jordan gets injured too.</p><p> </p><p>

8. Rusev © beat John Cena to retain IC Title (97)</p><p>

- Final fight in this chapter of their feud. Rusev will probably lose the IC Title at Summerslam, although the plan was for Cena to win the IC title, but I had a last minute change of heart. I like the idea of Face Lesnar v Heel Rusev at Summerslam, although maybe the IC Title is too low for Brock.</p><p> </p><p>

9. Paige © beat Sasha Banks to retain Womens Title (82)</p><p>

- Sasha got really pissed off about this, but she just won the belt so it'd be dumb to lose it in the first defence (Unless you're WWE irl). Let Sasha be issed though, this ends their feud. Paige v Liv Morgan next and then at Summerslam maybe Bayley can win the title.</p><p> </p><p>

10. MITB Match Hype Video between Fin Balor and Sami Zayn (91)</p><p> </p><p>

11. CM Punk v AJ Styles for the WWE Title Hype (100)</p><p> </p><p>

12. Finn Balor beat Sami Zayn to retain his MITB Briefcase (81)</p><p>

- I honestly expected a little better, but then Fin is still just in the midcard after being in teams and midcard feuds for a year so eh. Also Zayn got pissed at Mania that he didn't win, and again here, but it's acceptable. Ends their rivalry, as Zayn is waiting for a Kevin Owens face turn to team up.</p><p> </p><p>

13. Entrances for AJ Styles (96) and CM Punk (99)</p><p> </p><p>

14. CM Punk beat AJ Styles to retain WWE Title (96)</p><p>

- A good end to the night and probably ends their feud, with Punk focusing on reigns until Summerslam. Styles might have to fight for the IC Title sometime for a bit. Punk gets an injury, lets hope it isn't serious....56 days not that bad, guess maybe no title match for one PPV, AJ v Reigns for the chance to face Punk perhaps, OR maybe the IC Title could be Main Event.</p><p> </p><p>

PPV Rating: 96</p>

<p>I have been wanting to do a long term TCW game for a very long time and each time I found the feeling on TCW to be a little bland... lack of inspiration but i'm giving it another shot with the shot term aim being to implement changes to make the promotion a bit more interesting.</p><p> </p><p>

Taking ideas from everywhere but especially Japan. </p><p> </p><p>

I have signed an chunk of the best young available lightweights in the world to fill out a TCW Junior Heavyweight division with the aim to built it up long term so it's on equal footing prestige wise to the TCW World title.</p><p> </p><p>

I will be able to promote two sets of workers, getting twice as many people super over to help the national battles. At first due to the workers available it will be very much Midcard.. but looking to build on it.</p><p> </p><p>

Using it as a vehicle to get Masked Cougar over huge at first due to his star quality being impressive. A Main event level Masked Cougar will be the face of the Junior division. People like Gino Montero, Cali love machine, Remmy sky will be getting a push from this</p><p> </p><p>

Limiting it to lightweights and below but if the right middleweight needs something to get him over then i'll be inserting a few young middleweights.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

........</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

There will be The King of Kings Tournament (KOTR)</p><p>

The Super J Cup/ Best of the Super Juniors</p><p> </p><p>

.......</p><p> </p><p>

Looking to have a specific Super Juniors PPV or just them: Called TCW Battle of the Super Juniors.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

........</p><p> </p><p>

The King of Kings winner will get a title shot at the next big PPV. </p><p> </p><p>

.......</p><p> </p><p>

Looking at doing a TCW Spin on the Money in the Bank. Something like the Iron Chance Contract which a person will receive if they win a 6 man Iron Man Match. An Iron Man match between 6 people, I can see it working pretty well, you'd be able to get a pin from anywhere in theory, you're 1 pinfall down from the champion near the end but two pinfalls in the last 10 seconds could change everything. Still thinking about that, it would be on TCW's Biggest event of the year between the top guys who aren't in a top feud. </p><p> </p><p>

......</p><p> </p><p>

Guys like Human Arsenal, Eddie Peak and RDJ will be getting phased out , losing to Andrews in a title defence, putting ove Hawkins then feuding with/tagging with up and comers.</p><p> </p><p>

......</p><p> </p><p>

Signed a chunk of younger guys with top Star Quality to ensure the future of TCW even if a couple are duds</p>

*I posted this in the screenshots thread, however thought it would be better suited in here*</p><p> </p><p>

Okay, so this is Week 1 of my Montreal Prelude save. Pretty meticulously planned as you can see, but that's just my way...</p><p> </p><p>

My initial plan was to have Taker challenge Bret at Survivor Series in Montreal. Kane being a thorn in Taker's side at the time, this was no issue for Bret with the Hart Foundation at ringside, No DQ. Safety in numbers and all that. Finish comes as Kane appears with Bearer, only for him to turn on the Hart Foundation, he and Taker clean house, Tombstone 1,2,3 new champ, with a double switch executed perfectly, Hart Foundation stable becoming instant babyfaces and Taker and Kane being your monster heel duo on top with Bearer at the helm.</p><p> </p><p>

However, Bret is of course playing his creative control card and just signed for WCW on Monday of Week 2. So my new plan is this. Bret comes out on Raw, "I'm sick of this bullshit, you've all seen on the internet I just signed for WCW, well I'm leaving after Survivor Series and I'm taking this damn belt with me! I'll never lose this title!" Which is kind of a shoot as he'll happily overthrow my booking of having him lose the strap.</p><p> </p><p>

Now I'm not sure if now he's leaving it's programmed in for him to lax on the CC a little, so I can actually book the loss I originally intended, I have no idea about that, so in Montreal I'll likely have some kind of cluster**** finish where everything still goes to plan, except he strikes Vince or an announcer or something like that in the mayhem, so either post-match or the next night I'll have Vince come out "That son of a bitch struck me, so I suspended him on the spot/ stripped him of the title on the spot and FIIIRED his ass" something to that effect, then have Taker win a tourney ending at the next PPV etc. </p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere, I have Austin going after Owen for the IC belt, with Rock also pining for a shot claiming to "Call the shots" as leader of the Nation. Seeing as I still have Owen/Neidhart/Davey(for now) still under contract, and they'll all be turned face naturally come Montreal, this falls perfectly into the storyline, Austin wins the strap, then fends off against heel Rock ready to be pushed to the moon, and an angsty babyface Owen. I could also rebrand the Hart Foundation and bring back the old New Foundation of Owen and Neidhart. So many possibilities. </p><p> </p><p>

Anyways sorry for the longwinded post, but I love how things can fall into place like that, it's pretty clear from looking at that what other storylines I have running alongside those, it's quite stacked!</p>

<p>I think there's about to be a big talent exodus from TWA, and their head Booker is about to lead the charge. Jim Crockett Jr., our new owner following the death of Joel Goodhart is completely changing our product to something different to the pre-ECW hardcore style to some weird style that's popularity>performance, yet no gimmicks, no face/heel divide, has removed all the hardcore elements (most of my workers are high hardcore skill), attracted fans who are put off by risky things instead of entertained by it, etc.</p><p> </p><p>

I just need to find a company to jump ship to.</p>

It gets worst for WCW, a few months prior Ted Turner dies and WCW is taking over by Roland Alexander(horrible ownership & booking skills) with Bischoff still booking.</p><p> </p><p>

Here is the worst part for WCW, a few days after losing all that talent, Monday Night Nitro lost all its broadcasting and was taken off the air completely!</p>

Thus far, Roddy Piper (thanks to Nash totally turning the locker room), Lex Luger, Elizabeth, Riggs (big deal), and Kevin Nash have handed in their notice on leaving.</p><p> </p><p>

I thought I was safe and clear of anyone else handing in their notice after salvaging some morale issues when I was dropped with the bombshell;</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart is leaving in 14 days.</p><p> </p><p>

It's getting to the point where I'm not going to have enough people to build up stars. Booker, Benoit, Jericho, and Guerrero are all only at C overness and I'm building towards a US title match with them for the PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

Part of me wants to totally scrap this as I'm barely a month in and this is totally falling apart. The other part of me wants to continue it to see what will happen. It's forcing me to come up with new pushes, but at this rate I'm not going to have anyone to push them against.</p>

<p>Time keeps chugging along in NYCW, now into the year 2020, and boy are we a different company than when I started. What was once a Small company only holding a show once a month, NYCW has now expanded to holding weekly televised events on East Coast Today (along with our monthly events on the same network). Let's take a look at the roster as we work through this most recent decade:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Titles:</span></strong></p><p>

<em>NYCW Empire:</em> Ernest Youngman</p><p>

<em>NYCW Tri-State Regional: </em>Tennessee William</p><p>

<em>NYCW Tag Team: </em>Soldiers of Darkness</p><p>

<em>NYCW Sam Keith Classic</em> (latest winners): The Fighting Irish</p><p>

<em>NYCW Rip Chord Invitational</em> (latest winners): Rayne Man</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Current Storylines:</em></p><p>

</p><ul><li>A self-proclaimed "purist", Ernest Youngman, is the reigning NYCW Empire champion, having defeated Rayne Man for the belt in hotly contested fashion. Youngman denies he cheats or uses any underhanded tactics outside of matches, but it sure looked like his feet were on the ropes when he pinned Rayne Man for the title... Youngman is now doing whatever he can to avoid battling Rayne Man one on one, though maintaining he's a true "fighting champion". To make matters worse, denying his dubious tactics hasn't been enough to dissuade NYCW's own self-appointed vigilante, The Silencer, from putting Youngman in his crosshairs. Youngman has managed to try and play both challengers off of each other, and in a recent defense managed to defeat The Silencer in a cage match... though only after The Silencer was mysterious attacked and injured, and even then Youngman utilized a weapon to aid in his victory (which, he'll remind you, is perfectly legally in a cage match). Meanwhile, Rayne Man is still making his case that he's the top contender for the title, and The Silencer is never easily dissuaded...<br /></li><li>Xavi Ferrara and Logan Wolfsbaine, both recent NYCW Tri-State champions, have been running an old fashion blood feud, looking to one up each other at every opportunity. What started off as a simple friendly competition for the Tri-State title, then held by Ferrara, turned ugly when Wolfsbaine didn't take kindly to Xavi's bragging. Logan has since been on the warpath, looking to hurt and humiliate Ferrara at every turn, even viciously attacking and "injuring" his long time friend/partner, Steel. Steel has since recovered and is working to try and keep Xavi safe from Wolfsbaine's dangerous wrestling techniques, outnumbering the cold-hearted technical wizard. Xavi recently scored a spiteful victory, looking for revenge for (yet another) attack on Steel to try and "even the odds". Xavi didn't get a piece of him, but the distraction cost Logan Wolfsbaine the Tri-State title to Tennessee William in what many expect to be nothing more than a routine defense. It looks like Logan will find a real equalizer if he doesn't want Ferrara to ever truly get revenge...<br /></li><li>Tennessee Williams is the NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW NYCW Tri-State Regional champion, having shocked audiences when he pinned Logan Wolfsbaine on an episode of NYCW Slam Masters! Williams is, so far, just enjoying his first taste of singles gold in NYCW and is awaiting a match with the man who won a fatal four way for contendership to the title, Howlin' Mad Mort.<br /></li><li>Making their debut midway through 2019, the Soldiers of Darkness have already made an everlasting mark on NYCW. Lead by Karen Killer, BB Colossus and Scythe have demonstrated a combination of power, intensity, and *pure evil* neither seen nor heard in NYCW before. They emerged victorious over Borne To Riot after an ugly feud with the rights to challenge The Fighting Irish for the NYCW Tag Team titles. Despite their years of experience together, Tubbs and Threepwood were unable to stop the dark rampage of their opponents and lost their beloved Tag Team titles. The Irish are fighting to take them back, but so far they too have been unable to overcome the shadow now starting to loom over NYCW...<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Interesting Notes:</em></p><p>

</p><ul><li>Bulldozer Brandon Smith, having been SHOCKINGLY revealed to have been the masked American Patriot all along, has left us for BHOTWG only a few months before we secured our TV deal. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors as he was a huge star when we had next to none. Thankfully, more than a few have risen to fill the void he left.<br /></li><li>Animal Harker also bailed for Burning Hammer around the same time. Have to say, my Main Event scene hadn't taken a hit like that in a long time.<br /></li><li>Larry Vessey has left the business, and NYCW have been purchased by Ed Monton. Ed, who already failed as owner of MAW, tried to turn NYCW into a "performance" based company... but I shut that down right quick.<br /></li><li>Annihilus, a very recent signing after we hit Cult, is currently lingering down at the bottom of the card. He's recently bulked up to Giant status, and naturally a man of his incredible and unparalleled talents shouldn't remain down there for long.<br /></li><li>As promised, I brought in a healthy number of ex-MAW guys as the roster spots opened. Most of them are still finding their place in NYCW, but I've got high hopes that most of them will one day at least be a regular part of their midcard (Remus could probably be a big star, even as a flier, given his incredible talent). <br /></li><li>Even if he wasn't ex-MAW, George Wolfe got to jump to the start of the line the moment his dad purchased the company. No complaints, he's the kind of powerful brawler I always love having on my roster.<br /></li><li>Rayne Man has been a YUUUUUUUUUGE success story for me, as mentioned last time. Just feel like he's warranted another shout out, him and Youngman have really become the backbone of the roster. He had a nice, long reign earlier with the NYCW Empire title and I knew for about a year's worth of booking that he would be the next man to win the Rip Chord Invitational. <br /></li><li>I really didn't anticipate Scythe and BB Colossus getting <strong>this</strong> over <strong>this quickly</strong>. I've honestly tried to slow them down, but at this point I give up. Scythe (who I thankfully found a great re-render for) is destined for superstardom with us; he's a big guy with huge menace, the highest SQ in the company, and is even one of our best in-ring guys. Why SWF didn't hang on to him for forever and why he was allowed to wander around the independent scene I'll never know, but he's mine now. BB's been a little slower going, but seeing as how he's the C-Verse's very own "Big Vis", I absolutely had to bring him aboard. Naturally, with my touch he's also rocketing to stardom with us. I've temporarily set the Tag Team titles to Floating while I figure out how to adapt to their meteoric rise and can safely drop the belts back down to my stellar tag division.<br /></li><li>I'm glad with the growing company I'm finally able to give love to some of the guys who lingered towards the bottom for so long. Brutus Milano for example has really developed into a solid talent that can be relied upon in the midcard, and is getting more and more wins every day. Also he has great chemistry against Steel, and it's wonderful to see such great grades in matches between a couple of steroid-infused Comradebotasaurs.<br /></li><li>Steel is also awesome. Just want to say that.<br /></li><li>In my most *un*-Comradebot move, I have to say that Jules Night has been a really fun project. He's undersized, lacks all forms of charisma, and can't even work most gimmick particularly well. Still, as a Lightweight non-flier, he's got that underdog charm to him that I can't quite resist... so he's getting his shot. I've started team him with Joffy Laine, with Joffy playing a Simpleton gimmick and Night with (a Legendary rated!) Ice Man gimmick for some opening card fun time. The constant time with Joffy has done Jules a world of favors, as he's now up to a D- in Charisma. Considering he once had like an F or F+ and after every show veterans were telling me to give up on him because he can't connect with audiences, it's quite the improvement. I'd like to think one day he could develop into the lovable, goofy underdog babyface that loses a valiant effort to Annihilus.<br /></li><li>Tennessee William just refuses to ever be a main eventer. I've tried and I've booked... and he briefly got into their. Then Scythe and BB Colossus both surpassed him, then Logan Wolfsbaine. Really thought he could be another top level face for me, but it'd appear it's just not quite in him. All well, he's still a valuable member of the roster who can dominate my midcard about as long as he'd like.<br /></li><li>Money is tight after hitting Cult with the Industry and Economy both low (but rising). Thankfully I had a couple million saved up and it looks like the bleeding is slowing, even with me finally raising production values to prevent myself from losing my TV deal.<br /></li><li><strong><em>But the most important news of all...</em></strong> is that Man Mountain Cahill has just turned 49 years old. And guys... he's still not in decline. <em>He's still not in decline!!!</em> Sadly, the aforementioned financial strain means he's not currently involved in any major stories and is just making sporadic appearances to remind everyone what a bad-ass he is, but... but maybe I should start working towards him getting another NYCW Empire title run. I mean, how often do we get to see successful main event title runs out of a 50 year old?<br /></li></ul><p></p>

<p>Felt the Coastal Zone calling me back . </p><p> </p><p>

Currently CZCW in April 2018. </p><p> </p><p>

Network is going along niceley , at Cult so MAW who I bought out are now able to be my dev. sent a couple of young guys down there to improve on a couple things. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Looking towards the future, I only had two guys that I could develop into guy that could help me win a National battle, Jay Chord and Fro Sure. Jay is a Maine eventer and my champ but could do with some more pop gains from the vets I have brought in from TCW. </p><p> </p><p>

Fro i Uppermid jut waiting for the last big push to get him to main event. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Because I need some more guy with great star quality and help me compete at national I went on a global search to see who was available. There were a couple of regens with 90 SQ but needs more work for basics and top row. signed them up as long term prospects. </p><p> </p><p>

What Surprised me was that Swoop McCarthy was still only on a PPA... so i've signed him up to push from the off from tiny pop in USA to the moon over the next year. </p><p> </p><p>

most of 2018 has seen me gradually push Jacob Jet and at 86 SQ it's not to be sniffed at and is a true possibility to be one of my top 5 guys.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Motoyuki Miyake - Unsure if he's a future worker or a regen but at 89 SQ and some very good in ring stats at the young age of 23 he looks to be one of the guys who I can push pretty quickly over the next year alongside Swoop, Jet and Fro. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Got the nice problem of Zoned out (Fox Mask and Remmy Sky) having held the tag titles for 2 year and recently rescued the COTT Alliance Tag title from the hands of obscurity. My plan was to find a team to take the titles from them and push them for a CZCW World title feud against each other a a reward for their hard work in building up the tag titles. They are head and shoulder above the other team in term of pop and although Wild Cats and American Cobras can perform as well a them they are a couple of levels below them in terms of pop.</p><p> </p><p>

Brought in the Bigs Brothers in order to give one of other teams the big wins they need to close the pop gap and take the titles.</p><p> </p><p>

Looking at putting Ross Henry and Swoop together as a tag team as Ross needs to improve his performances, hi run with the top strap wasn't the best and has been just spinning his wheels since, Swoop would benefit by getting pop gainst from Ross and they could be the team to take the Tag straps from Zoned out. When I want Swoop to go solo towards the main event he has a ready made feud with Ross.</p><p> </p><p>

I would prefer either Flash Sparrow, American Cobra or Wild Cats to take the titles tho.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Cali Love Machine is still rising and still at the lower ends of the Main event scene and has captured the COTT Championship, give him some rub until the the CZCW World title scene opens up for him to have his shot.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Considering having Cali win the Wave of Fury (Royal Rumble) to earn a title shot an capture his first CZCW World championship at the biggest event of the year. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Using a lot of vets from the declining TCW like scout, Nate Johnson, Danny Fonzerelli, Human Arsenal, RDJ, Peak, as well as CZCW's very own Donnie J to help give the rub to the future of the Coastal Zone, I've signed a few guy who don't fit with the Coastal Style but they are there on short contracts to pass on their pop.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Once the transition is complete and the vets have gone it'll make room for my epic story of Gary the Entertainer to change to Gary the Bastard the most Heelish Heel to ever Heel.</p>

<p>I've written a dynasty about it, but I'm running USPW and the fans were a little bored with Nicky Champion so he lost his rematch with Steve Frehley and joined Running Wolf in a tag team called the Native Sons. He was used to help get over new signees The Ring Generals and The Boys From the Yukon by having open matches. Petr Novak got fired because he's a roid head and won't quit no matter what. Natural Storm and The Towers of Power are like 6 time champs each so it's a little dull to just have them swap the titles over and over so I'm trying to add in some new teams. </p><p> </p><p>

I also signed Sammy Bach and he made his return to USPW with a feud against Rich Money. He beat Money in a ladder match where they both put $100k in a case and Bach won. Money was furious and over about a month antagonized Bach (through some really funny vignettes if I do say so) until they had a double or nothing match.</p>

<p>Interesting big name transfers in my USPW game (July 2016):</p><p> </p><p>

SWF out-bid what I was willing to pay to keep Liberty. Had him put over Trent Schaffer a couple times on his way out, and now Schaffer is a bonafide main eventer, so I'm happy. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

SOTBPW out-bid SWF for the SWF World champion Remo. I offered pretty much exactly what SOTB did (including CC, WM, HV), but Remo simply chose them over us. Fair enough. Wasn't too bothered because my main event probably would've started to feel too much like SWF if I got him. On the plus side, SWF losing Remo created a lot of distance between us in our National Battle. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

SWF signed TCW's world champion Aaron Andrews. I put in a token bid but wasn't willing to get in a bidding war for him. Just never found him too interesting, really. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm about to let Tyson Baine walk when his contract is done, although nobody has offered him anything yet. Just trying to freshen up the roster. Don't like to hoard main event guys I no longer get excited about. </p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile Champagne Lover broke his freaking neck and is out for a year, giving me back the advantage (and a big one at that) in my Mexico National Battle with SOTBPW. I still plan to give Lover ALL OF MY MONIES as soon as his contract is up. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I'm trying not to abuse the fact that I have so much more money than everyone else and be somewhat conservative with my contract offers, but Lover is a guy I'll make an exception for. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Approaching my first Independence Day Slam and here's how my card is shaking out:</p><p> </p><p>

Nicky Champion vs. Marat Khoklov © for the USPW World title</p><p> </p><p>

Enygma vs Trent Schafer w/ Ifrit (Hell's Bouncer) </p><p> </p><p>

Steve Frehley vs. Rich Money</p><p> </p><p>

Sean McFly vs. Jumbo Jackson* (Was originally going to be Tyson Baine but he'll be gone by then.) </p><p> </p><p>

Running Wolf vs. Joss Thompson © for the USPW National title</p><p> </p><p>

Natural Storm vs. The Pain Train © for the USPW Tag Team titles (Pain Train is Dusty Ducont and Killer Shark) </p><p> </p><p>

Alicia Strong vs Tiffany Jade © for the USPW Women's title</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Champion took the title off Frehley at my first PPV in January, then lost the strap to Marat in May. Marat retained against McFly in June and now the rematch is on. </p><p> </p><p>

In storyline Trent Schafer exorcised James Justice from USPW, and then "took out" Chris Caulfield and The Force, becoming somewhat of a legend killer. Of course he's got hired muscle in Ifrit aka Hell's Bouncer. Enygma is his next target.</p><p> </p><p>

Frehley turned face after winning a best-of-3 series against McFly, and got himself involved in Rick Law's crusade to rid USPW of Rich Money's corruption. Feeling overshadowed, I've begun to plant the seeds for a Rick Law heel turn, as he got Frehley disqualified in his previous fight with Money.</p>
