Basmat01
Just want to hear some thoughts on this, as i'm considering adding them to my mod for TEW16. Do you guys like having starting storylines when starting new games with real world mods? I've really been on the fence about this, On one hand when starting off I like to know the main storylines going on around the time the mod is based on (Era mods) and then evolve them off in my own direction BUT on the other hand I also just like to start off blank from the get-go and just dont care what has happend before start date. NoLegs2015
I like them, but in some mods they all have like 85+ heat, especially in WWE and it's not very realistic. I like it in past day mods the best, because they help you remember what has happening at the time.
edenborn
Definitely a fan of starting storylines. While it's true that in some games you might want to scrap everything and start from scratch, far more often I prefer to deal with what the previous booker has set up. Especially in real-world mods. My first big event tends to look very similar to what actually happened at the time. Maybe I'll change who wins or loses or throw in a surprise turn, but I want to feel like I'm delivering on what the fans have already been promised before I head off in new directions. Hive
I personally see them as a big part of setting up a historical atmosphere.
