dude-1981
Written myself into a bit of a corner here team. Got non-Wrestling face authority figure Christian Faith feuding with Hell's Bouncer and also Scythe. I've had it going for a while, had Faith manage the Borden's against Bouncer and Scythe with the heels going over. Now I'm now really sure how the story line ends. Any tips? codey_v2
So I've run into a problem. Well, not a problem so much as a kind of writers block. I started booking an angle because it sounded cool and never planned out the end. It's a simple angle. I hired Randy Bumfhole (henceforth known as Randy Quarry) and stuck him storyline with Mikey James. Basically, Randy shows up as the heel, and when he comes into contact, he's like "Remember me from SWF?" to Mikey and commences to absolutely menace Mikey. There's history between them, but neither is saying what exactly that entails. I carry this on for the next month until they have a match at the next PPV (Fight Night XIV!) and Mikey comes out with the win. He's more over and frankly better than Randy at this point. Anyway, Mikey wins, but the next week, on my Friday show, I have Randy keep the trash talking up. Mikey responds by knocking him dead with a spinning hook kick backstage, and that's where we are now. The problem is, I have no idea where to go with this angle, because I never took the time to figure out what their history together actually was! That's where you guys come in. I need to spit ball some ideas here. I'm two weeks away from the next PPV and I want to hopefully reveal what went down between them to make them hate each other so much either the show before or at the PPV. EDIT: Keep in mind, I run a perf>pop fed, and this is my most soap opera-y angle yet. I'd like to keep it somewhat grounded.

EDIT: Keep in mind, I run a perf>pop fed, and this is my most soap opera-y angle yet. I'd like to keep it somewhat grounded. Going based on your product, in my mind I have an idea of what that "history" could be. I don't know if there are faces and heels in your company, but judging by Randy coming off as the "bad" guy I think this can add a bit of a wrinkle to the story and keep it from being too over the top. Randy was in SWF way before Mikey James was. What if Randy and Mikey became close friends in SWF - they are the same age, but Randy "mentored" him to show him the ropes, get him in with the big guys backstage, get him bigger matches and help him show his stuff. And you could either go a couple directions from there - maybe Mikey took all that help and gratitude, and either turned on him and tossed him aside once he was "in", or left to greener pastures (your promotion)? You could also have Randy going out of his way hurt his relationship with his brother and Randy went "all in" on trusting James, and was betrayed? Maybe Randy and Mikey became a tag team and Randy was "Jannety'd" by Mikey? The specifics depend on how long Mikey spent in SWF before joining you as to what makes sense thematically, but Mikey "betraying" Randy after Randy helped him get his feet under him in SWF would be the core idea. Since Randy is the "bad guy" this would give him some reason for doing things, but maybe he's exaggerating it, or maybe Mikey's changed and Randy's not willing to let go? A ton of directions you can go with it but I think it's a grounded, realistic situation that happens a LOT in not just wrestling that fits with your product. I'm actually running my fed from a draft the board did like two years ago, so Mikey was only in SWF as long he was at the start of the 2016 database. Either way, he got over there, and Randy being his bro there makes sense.

I like the idea of Mikey kind of leaving Randy behind as his career moved on, and Randy growing bitter about not seeing the same success. awesomenessofme1
I imported "A New Dawn Arises" from TEW2013 and am going to edit it a bit so I can play. I want some rules for a July 2012 WWE game. I already have some plans, so some rules might not work, but I'm looking to make things interesting for myself. If it matters, I'm going to keep my product mostly the same, but somewhat increase Modern and Daredevil to match up with the direction WWE has been going since then. In the feud I made it a running punchline that it was never established about what the original feud was about, just that it had lead to this ridiculous blood feud.

I think maybe two years down the line the big reveal was that it was over damage to a hire car or some such silliness which had just got ridiculously out of hand

Hashasheen
Trying to work out a 1990, WWE version of the Dangerous Alliance and could use some suggestions. Larry Zbyszko, Paul E. Dangerously and Rick Rude are three guys set to reappear in this alternate version, and Sherri Martel is going to replace Alundra Blaze. But I can't settle on replacements for Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton and Steve Austin. A part of me is thinking Hercules Hernandez and Paul Roma to replace Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton and for Sid Vicious to replace Steve Austin, but I'm not settled. Any ideas or suggestions?
