Joshdb
Could anyone tell me why 4C isn't able to negotiate a broadcasting deal with Q-TV in the default data at the start of the game? I'm obviously missing something but to me it appears they meet the requirements (but obviously they don't!) I've created a show for them in the TV Controls screen but it still says they are unwilling to negotiate.

Thank you.
D16NJD16
Anyone ever thought about putting together a strategy guide with all the known strategies and info in this thread? 7,000 posts for a game that already has a FAQ is pretty unbelievable. I thought it was eligible to any Canadian promotion, not specifically Quebecois, and that distinction was specifically to block like a Japanese company from negotiating a deal. I guess the only promotion that broadcaster is for is the randomly debuting Quebec Pro Wrestling. How odd. Typically I'll have good matches to start, then a block of "bad" matches (define "bad" any way you want), then maybe I'll put alternate between good and bad, then bad, then good and good to close. I've also found that putting some hype packages to buffer before the main event matches helps a lot. Make them 5 minute plus.

As long as you get some sort of understanding about Crowd Management, it's pretty lenient, and you could do a lot of different stuff. All you have to do is just recognize patterns, really. Pretty easy stuff.

They can't become annoyed "for no reason": it's impossible for that to happen because that's not how the system works. Their morale can change when items expire and leave the list, but that's a specific reason - something no longer having an effect - and the overall morale is still the sum of everything that is left in the list.

Olathay
Show Size

I deliberately let a negative influence's contract lapse; the next thing I knew, there was adverse press about the roster size and potentially poor financial condition of my company. That said, I've not done too much with really long shows, so maybe it works differently if you do it multiple times. Comedy and Eye Candy seem to completely reset the crowd, so that can split the show into two halves.
