LloydCross
How would you successfully book a squash match? I mean in terms of match length and road agent notes? Also, I'm guessing it won't be smart to do it in title matches, given the length of the match? Depends on if you're looking for the max pop gain for the winner or the highest match rating for the show. The "well-executed squash" RA note shows up when you have high card vs low card in a match of 5 minutes or less. That's really all you need to get the highest rating possible. In theory you can trade some of that rating for a bigger boost to the victor with the dominate note, but I don't have much sense of numerically what that does. Gungner
Can you have the same title switch hands to two different superstars on one show, or will the game not recognize the new champion until the show has been run? Example: Wrestler B beats Wrestler A to win the title. Wrestler C then cashes in on Wrestler B (either via angle or match) and wins the title. That's three different champs from the show starts 'till it ends. Will the game recognize that?
Danny_H22
At what size will broadcasters be willing to negotiate with me? I'm at regional with 47% in one area and so far nothing. How long does the pop. boost from pillaging q company last if I don't then hold events there?

At a recent PPV, I had my top guy win the title from another contender in a triple threat match. Gungner
So, Bret Hart was caught in a scandal and the WWF fired him. However, he wouldn't even talk to me because I was at cult level. Now I've risen to National, and he'll negotiate :-) However, I get a warning saying he's toxic and he might cost me sponsors possibly income. How much damage can he do to me, does anybody have experience with this situation? As the game will tell you, he can be toxic from anywhere from 6 months to 3 years. In my Impact save, NJPW fired Hiroshi Tanahashi do to a scandal, and I hired him immidately. I'm almost two years into his scandal, and his still toxic. He is my current World Heavyweight Champ. Attendances isn't really lower, as the game says (atleast for me), I still draw around 16k pr tv-show, and 30k pr PPV. (I'm at National). Regarding Income and sponsors, I don't really know. I make around 2 to 4 million pr. month, and I don't think it was any higher when I hired him. I'd say take a chance and sign him. Maybe sign him on a short term deal to begin with, so you can kick him out if it causes you problems. But I haven't really felt any negatives when signing Tanahashi. Heck, he's my World Champion while still being toxic!
Mr. Bungle
Thanks, I'm going to take a chance and sign Bret Next question: I see a lot more opportunity in cancelling my face/heel divide. It just gives me a lot more guess options and top matches. Does anyone have any experience in scrapping it in a US company and the effect it will have on pop, etc.? TheJG
1. If you go into the editor and look up the injury, you can see how long it takes to recover. 2. No. I'm pretty sure they have to do that themselves. Perfect, thanks. "A few months", it says. I thought that might be the case. I guess the only way to do it would be to add a 2nd player and take over the child company. But that would mean ending the relationship etc.
Gungner
Yeah. Realistically, shouldn't a chronic back pain be for the rest of his career/life? I mean, it is chronic

Gungner
How come the game is telling me that Tanahashi needs to be booked in shorter matches (16 mins) when on TV, but when I book him in 22 minute title matches on PPV, I don't get a note? Is it stamina related? Are you using things like Slow Build and Storyline match aims and stuff? These things lessen stamina effects and they're not working as hard. That's probably it
RatedRKO16
Is there any way to work around signing with a company for my show after being dropped for too many bad shows? NBC dropped me from prime time and now I'm being told I can't negotiate with anyone in the U.S. for a year... Side note: This seems entirely unrealistic and I noticed its in TEW 20. How did this not get fixed? If a show was getting 20.0+ ratings week in and week out, wouldn't a lesser broadcasting company want that show? That might not be good enough for NBC in prime time, but surely that's good enough for AMC in the graveyard time slot..........

RatedRKO16
WWF 1987 im running a weekly show Superstars on NBC. My monthly events are also shown on NBC. Are the pop gains the same on the weekly show as the event? Or no?
Thane of Fife
Why do I have to pay a hire cost, when using a venue that I own? Seems strange... The idea is that you still have to pay for electricity, maintenance, and so forth. WWF 1987 im running a weekly show Superstars on NBC. My monthly events are also shown on NBC. Are the pop gains the same on the weekly show as the event? Or no? Not absolutely certain, but I believe that events always cause larger pop changes than TV shows. I don't think the schedule of the events (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc) actually matters.
