Derek B
A title match must be better than the titles prestige for it not to drop... However, it is not always a noticable drop. Say your title has 100.0 in prestige, and you put on a 90 rated match. The prestige might drop to 99.7, but will still show up as 100, as the game doesn't do in decimals (that's only in the editor). But as a rule of thumb, the match grade need to equal or better the belts prestige to not drop. And yes, if a belt is not defended, it will lose prestige (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but I believe it's one defense pr. month to avoid losing prestige. That's pretty much all wrong. If it worked as you said it does, only companies capable of putting on matches rated at least 70 could ever have a main event title with anything but the minimum levels of prestige, which is obviously not the case. Title prestige is partly determined by match ratings for sure, but even those are relative compared to your company popularity levels. There are a bunch of factors that weigh in, including star quality and the card position of the workers involved in the match that help to determine the prestige of the title... after all, if you're having a midcarder challenge for a main event title instead of all the guys above them, that isn't as big of a deal as having your top couple of guys fighting over it. You can also go longer than once per month without defending the title. I think it was set at up to 3 months between title defences (longer if you are a touring company with months off) before title prestige will fall on it's own, as there are times in reality where champions will be doing other things too (particularly in Japan with their various tournaments) and won't always be defending the title. Kingster
So, I booked this match as a DQ finish, which my fans don't like, and with the Keep Strong note for Omar Brown. I knew this was going to bomb, but for storyline reasons and in order to calm the crowd, I booked it the way I did. For some reason, the game thinks it was a "superb" match and it got the crowd hotter. This was by far the worst segment on the card and NOTBPW's popularity is at a B across Canada. The two matches before scored a B and a B-. Does anyone what's up with that? Why would a D+ rated segment get the crowd hot? I thought booking intentionally bad matches would make the crowd come back down. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m27/Johannes_04/WatsonBrown.jpg?t=1488978854
benjybates
I've been trying to work out the "Storytelling" match aim since I got this game when it came out and I STILL have no idea how it affects match ratings. Has anyone worked it out?
LigerLiger
What is PRIDE Koiso looking at? No, seriously, I'm curious. Also, what happens if I loan someone on a written deal and this person wins an alliance title? Can he defend it if i have a working agreement or will I have to loan again immediately after so that the belt won't get vacant? So, I booked this match as a DQ finish, which my fans don't like, and with the Keep Strong note for Omar Brown. The match itself was good but bombed because of the finish.

Gungner
I book "storytelling" in Rumble matches. Always seem to work fine.
MachoManOrton
Based on the description I think storytelling matches are less intense, meaning physical abilities like stamina weigh less heavily but maybe top row skills do too?
benjybates
I also use storytelling when I book a schmoz (which I've been booking every WCW main event on TV, I can count on one hand how many clean main event wins televised) or a tainted win and it seems to work. I want to know the science behind it though
Taker4455
What is a decent psychology stat for a new worker/regenerated worker? Just simmed a year and most of these guys are under 40, with a good few coming in at single digits <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Derek B
Did you click on the button at the bottom of the "view rival offers" bit that takes you to the next offer? It will literally take you through each one that has been made from any other company.
Gungner
If you have a match between two (or more) people in a storyline together (all in major roles) take place on the pre-show, that won't advance the storyline, right?
