Perth is the most isolated Major City on earth (furthest from the next major city) which means it's talent doesn't get as much exposure in the rest of the region. The RCW, MCW, PWA people do appear in the other areas and IPW tried to get a spinoff going up on the Gold Coast (not sure if it's still going) and people like Evie appeared in the East Coast promotions pretty regularly. AWF of course had a TV show (Aurora is still a channel ... well barely) so they have some awareness across the region that general fans may know. Some workers from WA do travel East and work shows but it's a long way to go unless you've got some other work or a ton of bookings.

The problem with Progress's service is of course most people here (Australia) know pretty much nada about Progress meaning that people aren't going to hunt it down. It's all WWE in terms of coverage, NJPW toured earlier this year, IMPCT used to have shows on TV but not for quite a while now, sadly no ROH coverage ever. The hardcore base may know Progress and therefore know how to access EPW coverage but general wrestling fans probably don't. We know more about the scene in other areas because we are clearly hardcore enough to buy a wrestling game but a general fan is going to see the saturation WWE coverage and probably be satisfied with either the FOX coverage or the WWE Network or the cut-down shows that 9 shows on one of it's channels. I have no idea what the purchase rates of any of the non E subscriptions services but I cant imagine we are talking large numbers of people.

Like I said the largest fed in Australasia would be lucky to be a small regional and to be honest I'm not even sure any of them are that large. I wish it was different. I wish Lucha Underground, ROH, New Japan etc got their shows on Australian TV but right at the moment it's sadly not the case.

Now in new that effects the mod itself

[/color]

I agree. I'd even take it further and say no Australian company is even regional level. In my opinion most are small or even local in size.

NXT Wrestlers not good enough?

Hey there, I made NXT a standalone company, so I can book them. But I do feel that they are not putting on that many amazing matches. Is this intended? I switched the Product to one that represents a normal indy company. So something based on performance. Is there any way to increase the wrestlers stats without having to go into each wrestlers stats individually? Thanks for the answer and updating this amazing mod.

RWC--- SEAdLNNNG have been added to the data. I've updated Impact a bit too (feel dirty). There is so much still to do in terms of stat updates but honestly I can't be arsed going through everyone's stats. I've downgraded a lot of women's sex appeal but it was so boring I gave up part way through. I've probably done 50% of them. We can now all walk with Elias as he has had a slight stat boost (and bio update). Arkangel and Universo 2000 are set to deceased. Titles are up to date (for those cagematch has listed). Other odds n sods have been done too.

I think he's killing it on 205. And is it worth adding 205 Live as a third brand now? You don't see the cruiserweights on Raw anymore. Just a thought. Love your work!

It turns messy very quickly. Everything is in the game for the player to make the 205 brand themselves if they want in just a couple of minutes.

Assigning stats to so many characters is incredibly boring, especially when its with wrestlers or a company you never intend to play as. If you get a chance I vaguely remember some of the women having crazy athletic stats. I think Charlotte Flair was up at 98 or something crazy when I checked but I might be wrong.

Only problem with 205 as a separate brand is the AI doesn't book it properly and you end up with half the roster going to Raw/Smackdown and non-cruierweights moving to 205 Live. Sometimes for good performers in lower companies or brands it can work to give them good stats but then assign their starting popularity about 20 points lower than what it really should be so the worker stays in the lower brand or promotion longer instead of moving straight up as soon as the game starts. If their in ring stats are good they'll always be appealing to sign/push anyway and boosting their popularity can be part of the fun.

My next data set (after the my last RWC release) will be a reworking and update to my Millennium mod. For those who don't know, this was a mod set in 2000 based off of characters submitted by people here to add to a small wrestling world myself, my brother and my cousin created (pen and paper) in 1999. It takes what we created and shifts it forward a year.

Currently there are 36 completed promotions and 932 completed workers.

Not only will I be using created workers (drop me a PM if you have any ideas for characters and I'll try to include everything submitted) but I have also added a lot of 80's Mania Wrestling characters scattered through the world (I've created their pictures in Heromachine 3 - creative tweaks to some of them - so the pictures are still "uniformed" in their style). I am also contemplating adding some of the characters from Filsinger Games' "Champions of the Galaxy" as future workers.

I'd say a beta will be out once I've hit 50 promotions. I may start getting people up to speed with the world in the 2nd post here at a later date, but currently I just want to continue working on the mod.

Examples -

RSZWXAE.jpg - Ace Arcadium (80's Mania Wrestling - there is an alt for his Ace of Spades gimmick too)

This Lord of the Arcade acts as defender of the good, vowing to blast those who threaten to invade. He is constantly trying to "beat" his high score against opponents and when not wrestling, can be found in the arcades around the US, trying to keep his name top of any arcade machine he touches! In reality, Ace is an Atlantic City Native who began wrestling as a way to "pay the bills". He never thought his character would take off as well as it actually has.

QSxdlOq.jpg - Justice Jackson (Custom Creation)

Bernie Jackson is an American professional wrestler and former professional football player, best known for his work in USPW where he has been one of the top workers ofor the company as Justice Jackson. Justice is considered by some to be one of the most electrifying and charismatic wrestlers in the country. He was one of the most popular athletes of any kind in Louisiana during the 1980s. It was in 1989 that he was signed to USPW, and has since become one of the companies top and most consistant wrestlers.

ELCjxl2.jpg - Mandonna (80's Mania Wrestling)

Mandonna is an American wrestler who works exclusively in North America. He is a Middleweight who is classed as using a Brawler style. Some have said there is something not quite right in the head about Mandonna, but while he may look soft in his pastel pink dresses and bows, he is one of the toughest b*st*rds around!

P5tjW3r.jpg - WILDCAT (Custom Creation)

Kaoru Hosokawa is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by her ring name WILDCAT. Known in Japan as one of its top female wrestlers, WILDCAT is showing all of Japan that Womens wrestling is just as good as Mens wrestling - sometimes by beating the men up to prove her point!

very interesting diablo-verse mod. While playing, i noticed that a lot of heroes are used as road agents and commentators. Wouldn't it be wiser to have actual creators of universes in these roles, e.g Stan Lee. Was slightly disappointed by the lack of my favourite watchmen, but it's a fantastic mo anyway.

That HOI background looks awesome! Here are some random WWE notes that I haven't seen listed here yet...

- In case you missed it, Big Cass has been released. Apparently he's a total jerkwad backstage so possibly a personality tweak? Also read that him and Sami had a heated argument about Cass's stance on Muslims so maybe simmering tension between the two?

- Orton has had surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear. Apparently he is aiming for a Summerslam comeback.

- Ambrose has started working out at the PC. He is also reportedly looking at a Summerslam return.

- In NXT, Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were married today.

- Sami Zayn has torn both rotator cuffs and is out for the rest of the year. He has said that he'd like to be back by Mania
