In the small 150 x 150 TEW mode the first probably looks better but at the size presented you can see the limitations of 3D more. With 3D the eyes look unnatural and the skin and hair a tad more artificial - they are clearly drawn if you know what I mean. When you reduce the size that kind of goes away but at this size I prefer what I'd describe as the more naturalistic muted tones. </p><p> </p><p> I think with both rendering types it really depends on the purpose - for TEW the more vibrant 3D woks better on those smaller pics but if you wanted to make a larger full page render with a lifelike look I'd go IRAY.</p><p> </p><p> By the by I love the design choices - the guy feels like a weathered guy whose spent doing hard manual labour - maybe a fisherman.</p> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
