Clutch Tomlin is becoming the world traveler with starting in the Great Lakes with Golden Age Wrestling, moving to Mexico for the debuting Mexican Hardcore Wrestling, getting a shot in EWA (I've never been a fan of owner bookers so I usually edit in a new booker for the company who then stepped down,) and now a lateral move to Japan with Pro Wrestling SAISHO!

It's been an interesting game so far, I've never touched EWA and ended up wanting to leave only a few months in. Pro Wrestling SAISHO should give me a lot of great guys to help me out.

I rolled +20 to steroids my first year, and rolled a one in year 2, allowing me to join the COTT. At this point im barely making any progress raising my popularity due to constantly loosing regional battles in the Mid South to QAW and CZCL. Running two shows a month i incease around 0.5 pop while making between 500-2000$ each month.

Then, about a week into the year i notice a message saying MAW is in financial trouble. Just for fun i click attempt takeover, and it turns out they're only 7k in debt. I pillage them, signing alot of their top guys, get their title and the Rip Chord tournament, aswell as a nice boost to my pop in Mid Atlantic.

I just pulled a screwjob on The Kipper because he smoked backstage twice when it was against the rules. BCG's booking position is available but they're Regional & I'm still Local :C. I'm probably going to go out of business lmao.

I just hit Cult, and I am still with my starting company. Let's see how this affects my budgeting....

Wow, the AI is aggressive I love it. I went and offered written deals to my roster and all the cult+ companies are coming along and entering into a bidding war, Michael Bull won't let me offer competitive offer to a 40-year old Hell's Bouncer, so I will most likely lose him.

I love it. They see me a threat now, and want to steal my guys, whereas before they were happy leaving me alone with my PPA deals.

Good news is I got David Stone and Lucy Stone-McyFly locked up for 10 years.

I'm running a massive loss at LIWC and I think I might be better off jumping over to MAW (small size) instead of sinking with LIWC. I like MAW's product better anyway.

Except for Austrailia. My grades are consistently in the 85+ range and I'm losing popularity in Austrailia with every show. Not sure I understand how that works.

I'm up to June 2016 after booking 20 hour long weekly shows. I'm still losing $8k a month but at least if I go bust this time I'll have 75 matches under my belt. I'm gaining a point per month in each performance stat and i'm only a bit of star quality away from being able to make myself the figurehead.

I'm not too far from Small I think so in an ideal world I can jump ship to a regional promotion before we go bust.

Basically the wrestling industry was A and rising which meant that I could expand quickly and get back in the black by the end of September despite running a show a week. I was also ultra-frugal with wages. And playing in the Tri-States. Once I hit regional every show I run actually makes a profit. Theoretically I could run 16 shows a month - but I'd burn myself out doing that.

Soon have to start thinking about visiting another region to start moving to Cult.
I just lost my second save. I tried going one event a month with very low cost workers until I started a profit, and then switched to somewhat better workers. It was working, and I was making a profit of between 2-3k a month, but I got closed after about a year and a half with approximately 20k left in debt. I didn't really want to try it the 4 shows a month way, as that seemed less realistic, but it looks like that may have to happen.

For people that were successful with 4 shows a month, how long were your shows? How many workers per show did you have? Did you use events exclusively?

I entered 2021 by rolling the Internet Sensation thing. So I filtered my roster by active wrestler and rolled again to see which guy gets the added overness bonus.

It's my user character. That was lucky. So now I have 66 pop in my home-town Mid-South region which makes my angles rated on entertainment or microphone go in the 80's. Also that roll says you add 2 company popularity to any region where you have any. In TEW16 with the new better spillover that means add it to the whole world really.

http://i.imgur.com/jKEJlxV.jpg

My guy is improving mostly, except charisma that's capped and hovers around 65 going one point up and down.

On the eve of going Small (finally), my UC breaks out his best performance. First a 97 for the opening promo, and a 91 in the main event. (Even the weak link counts <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> )

Both storylines involved are running white hot, the industry is booming so I can afford all of my Main Events on one card at a time and having both Mitico Jr (my figurehead) and Austin Smooth with legendary gimmicks helps. Austin's been a monster in angles, he's well and truly over-preforming what his stats suggest and El Mitico is by far the best wrestler on my roster (even in a workrate promotion).

Just got to do this at National now...
