Wanted to bump this thread and check in with people who are playing SWF games right now. It took me a bit to settle into a long term save since '16 came out, but I'm now at the end April of 2016.

I've kept Remo red-hot as champion and he's popping around mid-90's througout North America. Bruce has stayed Figurehead (he's not in time-decline) and his program with The Crippler ended with both men looking strong and red-hot. Bruce is sitting with around 97 pop and Crippler around 88 and my version of the Money in the Bank (The Golden Ticket).

I moved Welcome to the Jungle to May and will run a Royal Rumble style match leading to Remo vs Bruce at SC.

I've lost Skull DeBones to NOTBPW of all places but was able to pry Money away from USPW and resign Gilmore. Other than that, Des Davis has been my only loss (to USPW). The Smacker and Laramee have been model citizens until Scotty broke his neck :(

Anyway...I got a lot more going on than that if anyone is interested...but what's happening in the Land of Supreme in your saves?

I just did a brand split, as I went signing happy and signed every big name and young talent away from TCW and USPW that I could lol. My main event scene is crazy. Supreme Brand has Wolf Hawkins, Aaron Andrews, and Jack Bruce (to name a few) and my Elite Brand has Nicky Champion, Remo, and my personal favorite Rocky Golden. I also have Joshua Taylor, Steven Parker, Jimmy Hernandez, and Mickey Lau on the cusps of breaking the main event scene. I have been very lucky as most of the big talent have had contracts come up within the first year of my game. I have only lost Des David, as I was not willing to compete in the bidding at such a high price. I managed to keep Remo, Angry Gilmore (gatekeeper now), and Valiant, however I am paying a crap ton for them. I also picked up The Force, but he is on terrible time decline, which I forgot to check lol. I am struggling to keep guys over and make interesting story lines to drive the game, but I am still having fun.

My issue is I've overloaded RIPW with young talent complaining to come up.</p><p> </p><p> Over extending myself is proving to be a much more difficult challenge than in TEW 13 for me. I am stressed about overpaying for Huey Cannonball for instance, and fighting the urge to sign Markat.</p>

I'm booking Crippler as a vicious heel who will fight but only on his own terms, and after trying to end Bruce's career he's genuinely concerned about his own. How's everyone done with Jimmy Hernandez and Steven Parker? I've been having hard time building those guys up... preferring instead to focus on Mikey Lau and Marshal Dillon (Dillon is a NBT in my game) as faces and Hollywood Brett Starr and Spencer Spade as my up-and-coming heels.

Unfortunately this has left Hernandez and Parker (and the Platinum Blondes) out in the cold as there's just not enough wins to go around...

These two guys might be the main reason I am considering a Brand Split.

<p>My only loss so far is Brandon James. I play as the owner, but I couldn't stomach paying $50K a month to someone that was likely going to fall down the card in 2017 and I'm interested to see how he does in SOTBPW. Learned not to give a worker a huge win right before a contract negotiation, though. His contract runs out right after SC 36, so all in all it works out pretty well. Rich Money signed back up with me right after, which helped. I also have Jay Chord, Troy Tornado, Edd Stone and a few others. </p><p> </p><p>

My SC 36 card if anyone is interested:</p><p> </p><p>

Remo © vs. Jack Bruce - SWF WHC</p><p> </p><p>

Vengeance vs. Marat Khoklov</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant/Rogue/Joey Morgan vs. Eric Eisen/Brandon James/Morpheus (American Buffalo)</p><p> </p><p>

Angry Gilmore vs. The Crippler - Technical Masterclass</p><p> </p><p>

Troy Tornado vs. Paul Huntington ©- NA title </p><p> </p><p>

Amazing Bumfholes vs. Awesomeness vs. Platinum Blondes - Tag titles</p><p> </p><p>

Hero Squad vs. Deadly Sins (John Greed & McClean)</p><p> </p><p>

Des Davids vs. Joe Sexy</p><p> </p><p>

Mikey Lau vs. Big Smack Scott w/Kurt Laramee</p><p> </p><p>

Jimmy Hernandez & Steven Parker vs. Jay Chord & Bret Starr</p><p> </p><p>

Still not sure if/how I'm going to fit Rich Money in there. I'm leaning towards having him help the Valiant/Rogue/Morgan team before swerving everyone and taking Brandon James' spot in their stable on Supreme TV (and basically taking it over).</p><p> </p><p>

I'm also curious how Champagne Lover is working out for anyone who has signed him.</p>

<p>While we're on the topic of brand splits, I feel like adding my two cents. I've learned the hard way that you probably shouldn't do a brand split when you just think you can "make it work." You do a brand split when you can split the roster and <strong><em>it won't affect your show ratings whatsoever. </em></strong> Say you have 8-10 main eventers on your roster and you are consistently hitting close to 90 on Supreme/Elite TV. Will you be able to consistently hit those same grades with 4-5 main eventers? Maybe, maybe not. You also run the risk of repetitive booking. </p><p> </p><p>

What I do first when I get a second A show is just keeping most of my storylines exclusive to one of the shows while also increasing the number of storylines I have going at a time. This helps me keep far more of the roster relevant at any one time and you don't need to cut your potential match-ups in half. Just thought I would throw that out there as I have had saved that were going great, but I split the roster too soon and basically lost all my progress I had gained because I couldn't keep my show grades up to where they were.</p>

I created a title for the show and had Jimmy win the title after a 6 way tournament and let him hold it for close to 6 months. I was able to get him to uppermid card was well.</p><p> </p><p> Now though, I am struggling to incorporate Steven Parker into anything useful, as I split him and American Machine in the draft. Both Mikey and Jimmy are my midcard title holders, and Spencer Spade and Hollywood (both UC) are my tag champs. I also just brought in Jay so I'm not sure what I will do with him, but I did add him to the Eisen Empire along with Spencer and Hollywood.</p>

The new performance rating has me a bit confused. Brandon James vs Steven Parker, Valiant vs Sammy Smoke and Angry Gilmore vs Rogue all scored a 78. I was thinking Gilmore vs Rogue would've had a much better rating than the previous two. On the flip side, having a main eventer in a match instantly gives it a 70+ rating, seemingly. It makes it a lot easier to book a solid show with that being said.

As far as the indy darling signings (this is with Derek B's CV16X) pop gains from January to February...

"Hollywood" Bret Star: +11 to +13

"Mainstream" Jimmy Hernandez: +3 to +4

Mikey Lau: +2

Steven Parker: -1 to -2

"The Marksman" Kirk Jameson: +23 to +27

Mainstream, and Hollywood are my focus right now. Both are in the midcard at the moment. Mikey Lau is being used as a jobber to the stars right now working 8-10 minute open matches against main eventers and then picking up wins against local guys to keep his momentum from plummeting. Once I get the other 2 in the upper midcard region, then I'll more on Mikey.

Steven Parker is blah to me. I'm not really sure what to do with him, and with the new system the way it is you don't need to be an exceptional in ring talent to pull in grades any more. That makes me less inclined to push him.

Kirk Jameson I'm pushing solely because of his star quality. Don't really care for him too much, but I also don't want USPro, TCW or SOTB to get him and use his SQ against me.

_________

Preliminary Plans for Supreme Challenge

I was originally going to do Remo vs Jack Bruce, but I peeked at contracts and Champagne Lover's deal expires in about 3 months. I'd like to do Lover vs Bruce for the title. At that point, Remo would wrestle Joey Morgan. I'll likely be doing Vengeance vs Marat. Rogue and Valiant I'm thinking about reuniting and have them in a triple threat with The Amazing Bumfholes and The Awesomeness. Eric Eisen will likely put over either Mainstream or Mikey. Brandon James will likely put the other over. Gilmore vs The Crippler is something I'll likely do as well. All depends on who I can sign, and what pushes do well on the undercard.

Post Supreme Challenge, I'm thinking of having my storyline focus on Emma Chase rebuilding The Chase Agency with the idea of it being an nWo-esque group, and Jack Bruce will play the Hogan role. I have Faith as my user character, so the interaction between the two would be great. Perhaps it would lead Faith to a rematch at the following Supreme Challenge. That's a ways away, though.

I often get that upper 70s score when a match is likely too short. I'm still playing around with it, but any match between a ME and an UM or ME 18 minutes or longer should avoid this, but do a full 20 minutes if possible. ME vs MC should be at least 15-16 mins. UM/MC vs UM/MC at least 13-14 mins. Any less should still be 10 mins. or longer to get a decent score. That's at least what I've observed.</p>

I still get the booking note for 18 or so minutes, but it seems to be enough to keep a match like Gilmore/Rogue from capping at ~78. I would definitely do 20 minutes in a main event match unless psychology/stamina becomes a major issue. Then you might be better off with the length penalty.

<p>I don't like doing more than 15 or so for a singles TV match. I prefer saving the long matches for PPV. In reverse, most all of my major feuds (midcard and up) tend to get between 13-15 minutes minimum on PPV. I'll toy with it and see what I can come up with.</p><p> </p><p>

I really do like how an upper card talent can work a midcard or low card talent and still pull a good grade. Reminds me of Nakamura vs Dillinger some weeks back. I was super in to that match despite knowing exactly how it would go.</p>

<p>I've just been having Jimmy Hernandez cut promos on most shows talking about whatever has been going on lately (promos on big name workers) and picking up wins over jobbers on my B-Show and he's up to about 60 Overness in USA and a Midcarder.</p><p> </p><p>

Hollywood Bret Starr has been going a little slower, but he's going to feud with Hernandez into Supreme Challenge, so that should help them both.</p><p> </p><p>

Steven Parker formed a tag team with Spencer Spade and they've been jobbing, but with a few pick ups joining the roster, he's up to Lower Midcard just the same. Might just have them anchor the tag ranks for a while.</p><p> </p><p>

Mikey Lau is toeing Upper Midcard. He generally beats people and I'm pushing him as "The Young Knockout Kid" (which I think I stole from Chris Hero, I know I heard it a long time ago on some random indy show I watched). He's got highly positive momentum and was almost going to get a shot at Remo as a placeholder for a month before a test tag match bombed hard (68 Supreme TV Main Event with Jack Bruce & Mikey vs. Remo & Brandon James).</p><p> </p><p>

After Des Davids' surgery, he's due back pretty in late May, so he's going to be joining with American Machine, who has had a pretty positive solo run picking up wins on the B-Show.</p>

Just had my first major injury; Jungle Lord is out for a year after herniating a spinal disc, and subsequent surgery going wrong. Was planning on turning him heel and pairing him with The Crippler as my number one heel team, with The Awesomeness going babyface. Not sure now if I'll stick with that plan with somebody else in his spot or completely alter it.

I've never really played as SWF, but I thought it'd be interesting to at least give them a go after Jack Bruce was caught in a scandal in March actively being fired afterwards. Now the SWF have positioned Valiant to be there figurehead as Jack sits on the outside looking in. I watched them very carefully and now in October, Valiant has a pop of about 88. I think I'm going to sim to January 2017 and then take them on. SWF has always intimidated me.

<p>Started up an SWF game. Running with the starting storylines, but Gilmore and Rogue will spin off into a feud while DeBones chases Remo for the big belt.</p><p> </p><p>

I have Eric Eisen running a Donald Trump-esque "Make SWF Great Again" gimmick, basically it boils down to him being as smarmy and insulting as possible while hiding behind his Executive Protection Squad, Bear Bekowski and the Pain Alliance. Occasionally, he attacks a babyface he blames for holding SWF back. So far, it it's doing well. Given Eisen's background, he's an ultra-punchable heel and his bodyguards all have high menace that helps them sell the angles.</p>

<p>Joey Minnesota</p><p> </p><p>

Hi, I'm a long time player of EWR/TEW, haven't bought the new game due to a laptop issue (issue being it currently doesn't work). </p><p>

I was wondering if someone could clear something up for me? I read in the TCW thread that Joey Minnesota had left for the SWF. I read Eisen-Verse's SWF diary and saw no mention of him. Could someone tell me where he has gone?</p>

What is not awesome is losing Jimmy Hernandez for a year to a major concussion. I was so excited for him. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
