I always had trouble booking Angry Gilmore as there never seemed to be much to the character other than "he's a good hand". I used him as a user character in TCW and made him "Superstar" Tom Gilmore, with a Big League Star gimmick. I had recently bought some new skins and thought this Tony Stark-esgue one gave him a little character.</p><p>

Willr0ck, I feel like the Stone Yoshikawa might look a little older than he is? He's only 35 in 2016 and that's a year younger than Shinsuke Nakamura in real life. I love the render itself as it looks like him but I wonder if he can be made to look a little younger? Right now he kind of has an elder statesman look.</p>

These are great. Blackman, do you do the full body just for the heck of it or can you use that in another game like WMMA? I really like that mat texture on J-Ro.

 

I'm used to making full body renders for WMMA so I might as well apply the stuff I assembled for that game to TEW. It doesn't take much time to stick the logo on the texture.

 

The MAT texture isn't mine (like most of the material of my renders). It's from Von200 for the Aiko4 character. I just edited the eyebrows. I'm pretty far from an artist (let alone textures).

 

Try and guess which '97 characters these are, and I'll know whether my feeble attempt sucked or not.

Great suggestions, I think I will start w/WEXXV since I have a couple of those guys rendered already. Just need to re-skin them. I have a soft spot in my heart for those nutjobs!

 

I might have a go at Magnum Kobe but I'm not sure I can top Shipshirt's outstanding Magnum Kobe render, I mean it's inspired by Nakamura, that is hard to top!

Maybe finishing off one of the oldest Japanese promotions, Golden Canvas Grappling? You've already started so I think there's just a few left.

 

Most notably Takayuki 2000, Jimmy Cox, and the Ace Hiroyasu Gakusha.

 

I have done a few GCG guys, so I might alternate between WEXXV and GCG actually. That way I don't get sick of looking at the same promotions guys for several weeks. Good call!

Little backstory: So I bought the Comic Villain bundle for Genesis 3 Female awhile back and had wanted to make a Harley Quinn type character. I looked for someone that was suitable and was going to go for a Valet/Manager type character but there actually aren't a lot of female characters in the game with Excellent "Crazy" performance stats. Talia does, however, and I know that she's got a legit wrestler gimmick initially with "Mistress of the Backbreaker" and she's got more size than the character I had in mind, but overall she seemed to fit the bill the best of anyone, to me. So I created a re-render and one of her as Harley.

 

Please don't ask for any alterations to these...they took like 30-40 minutes to render (in 3Delight!). They are "as is". I don't really like the Genesis 3 models and don't use them much at all because of this. I also don't like how you can't use the Omnifreaker shader on them which is what I feel really gives characters a great skin tone. But the Harley stuff was for G3F so I went with that.

Looks really nice and fits her well. The crazy harlequin would be an...interesting gimmick for Quinzel to say the least. The name is probably the biggest similarity, though I grant she does have some crazy in her. I can see her play Whack-a-Back with her hammer already.

 

I would love to see you try Reese Paige, but it might not be interesting to most people as she's just a road agent. But your style would fit her immensely well, methinks.
