I was thinking of doing these guys without the mask and the gimmick but let's face it, without the gimmick they are pretty terrible workers.

Chaos Demon #1

Chaos Demon #2

Ughhhhh. Even if you don't want the Chaos Demon gimmick it's still such a good render to use for two gens with good chemistry in tagging.

I need to stop praising you god damn it.

I'm glad you like them, I was thinking of doing renders of these guys without the masks as well so you will eventually have a choice.

I think that lighting loses some of the details. I know, even in 3Delight, that sometimes my render will look awesome in the view pane and when it renders I'm like "eh, I liked it better before". It's kind of like cartooning...you have these beautiful pencils and sometimes the inking lessens it.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> It's supposed to be the exact opposite. Iray is supposed to be faster and more realistic. Iray is an unbiased render engine so, unlike 3Dlight, you have to treat the lights you use like real world lights otherwise your renders will end up looking cartoony or like the figures are made out of clay. Also, you need to use textures that are specifically created for Iray to achieve maximum effect without having to tweak the heck out of them.</p>

<p>Yeah, well, I don't seem to have those. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I consulted a guide and they said some surfaces came with the figure but they must be talking about gen3. I still use 4th generation V/M as gen3 is too much of a financial leap in terms of acquiring enough diverse content. I tried it but the clothing (and the hair definitely) doesn't always convert flawlessly. And I'd rather not spend more time tweaking, as half of the time I don't know what I'm doing and it becomes a trial and error thing.</p><p> </p><p>

The fact that they look cartoony is not exactly a problem for these games, at least not imo.</p>

Here's the Cat I did earlier but with the conversion tool you mentioned.</p><p> </p><p>

I honestly think it looks worse than the default one. You can edit glossiness but we don't really need that. Tried it on others too. Could be a useful tool in some cases, but I'm not buying it yet.</p>

Unless that's your intention of course.</p>

I admit I didn't change the camera from the full body shots I usually make, so you might be right. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I just noticed now that you put my attention on the shadows (which are overdone in general).

These Chaos Demon renders are something else. Such great work on them.

Thanks, I am really happy with how they turned out!

The more I looked at my renders of the Peak brothers the more I didn't like them. I think the texture I used made them look like they had scurvy or something so I redid them.

<p>I like those more too. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Here's a rerender that afaik no one ever attempted because the worker is often deemed irrelevant. But she's not! Namaste!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>That's a great April Appleseed. I would love to see you incorporate some variety in outfits that were character specific since you do such lovely full body renders.</p><p> </p><p>

I wanted to re-do my Bradford Peverell render because it didn't feel "dirty" enough. I'm really happy with how this came out. It feels more like the character I use him as.</p><p> </p><p>

Specific? Like what? I'm not spending 10$ on a yoga pants. I can get a real one for that much. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I wouldn't know anything about outfits as the profiles rarely mention those things. If somewhat were to tell me I can see what I can do, but I'm without inspiration other than slapping some promotion-specific textures.

<p>Those April Appleseed and Bradford Peverell renders are great!</p><p> </p><p>

I needed to take a break from Japan for a bit so I did a few renders of some younger and/or unemployed guys. (I'll get back to Japan shortly)</p><p> </p><p>

Martyr - he's a psychopath so I figured he should look the part</p><p>

<a href="http://s1168.photobucket.com/user/aaronredwulfstudioswillr0ck/media/TEW/Martyr.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r496/aaronredwulfstudioswillr0ck/TEW/Martyr.jpg</span></a></p><p> </p><p>

Cip Conduit</p><p>

<a href="http://s1168.photobucket.com/user/aaronredwulfstudioswillr0ck/media/TEW/Cip%20Conduit.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r496/aaronredwulfstudioswillr0ck/TEW/Cip%20Conduit.jpg</span></a></p><p> </p><p>

Riley McManus - For some reason I find myself hiring this guy whenever I play with a US fed. I always picture him as a Tully Blanchard type.</p><p>
