Status: In Progress

- Reformation of the entire industry competition after a massive family and industry fallout following the death of VKM.

- Will include [Locked] Excel Workbook with all Seperate Roster Sheets, Staff Placement Sheet and a Company Product Sheet.

1. Drafting Workers (Data)

** At this point I will be revealing the 'big 18' to everyone with the bookers/owners/company men revealed.

2. Contracting/Transferring data into TEW

** At this point the main staffers will be revealed.

** Backstory will be realeased after letting everybody fester over the possibilities of what could be and what is.

3. Product Analysis [Certain Companies will have specific product styles for those who have been created to fit the Owners and Bookers for immersion reasons]

4. Schedules [TV Shows, Events with Graphics]

5. Broadcasting Deals [Most likely will be the trickiest facet of what is ahead of me without it being a complete joke]

Hi all,

Long time lurker, new modder. I have been playing GDS games since 2002 starting with EWR mainly staying within the TEW games but have also got other titles as well. I will mostly be focusing on Fantasy Mods both Fictional and Real World Scenarios (RWS still being fantasy scenarios)

I am planning a series of mods to release in the coming future as I have plenty of time to do so at the moment.

Anyone wanting to help is free to offer but I'm happy to plug along with these myself. There's a few that will just focus on US Media or Global Media this being my limitations hahaha, as an Australian I am being non-biased, you're not going to see The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin as the world champ or Paul Hogan owning a flash Australian Business just cause.

This will be the main thread I will use to post my mods in one place, (just following the norm these days haha) I appreciate any tips or criticism offered.

These are in no particular order and will pretty much start working on what has the most interest. (Sorry if I step on anyones toes with my ideas, PM if I cross a line with any of the legit producers here)

Back Stories/In Depth descriptions and the rest of the proposed ideas will be added over the next day or two.

Fantasy Fiction;

Marvel Universe - More than likely just 616 so it's not overwhelming.

Status: In Progress - On Hiatus

Currently working on; Workers [sifting through my Earth-616 database which is currently sitting at 18369[sifting-Alter Egos and Dead End Characters, a large chunk of the human characters will be left to remain to cover the backstage roles. Who, what position and how many is yet to be decided.]

Hi and welcome. Some solid ideas there. I think the idea of a Fantasy/Fairy Tale/Urban Legends mod is excellent. Also if you were open to the idea I may (once I've finished my mod) be interested in helping/co-creating a gaming mod. I started one on TEW13 but didn't get very far due to time restraints. I do however have a huge number of gaming cuts on a custom background I could upload at some point unless you already have a style in mind. I'm not online until Thursday evening UK time but could maybe send them by next weekend. Anyway.... I'm babbling so good luck and I look forward to seeing your releases.

Not sure if you've ever played it but we did a 2001 mod for 13 with an ECW/WCW lives scenario included. If you're willing to wait a few months you're welcome to use it for any scenario you choose. If you want to make it sooner let me know, if you like there will be a bunch of things ready for use in about a month for any RW mod. Might save you a lot of unneeded work

Yes Genadi I have indeed, I have spent most of my time on you and Fleisch's mods haha.

I had 2001WCW Lives 1.0 with no ECW which was my motivation to add and build, but if you have that on the way I will be crossing that one off my list.

ATM my RW mods are more than likely going to be after a fair few Fantasy Mods so it will just be crossing ideas off as they happen and keep writing new ones.

I was expecting a few of you guys to have it all pretty much under wraps with RW

I am also quite skilled on the graphics side of things if the help is ever needed.

Update

Hi all that have been waiting, major set backs and unfortuant happenings ('nuff said with the details without sob stories, sympathy yanks and excuses, it hasn't been my year so far) since last I spoke and whilst work was continuing through these times I have hit my biggest snag in my main laptop dying. It is just a graphics card issue so all of my data has not been completely lost just not usable until I do a mass transfer onto a hard disk.

The Marvel universe was being worked on up until that point of time but in the meantime I may start a different universe on my server/backup and upload it to dropbox to never have to experience this again <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> .

Thanks for the patience and I will be in touch more with updates, now that I have crawled out of my mental mancave.

Two of my favourite alt mods have been The Fall (and after the fall) and iDom (and the NWA Domination scenarios back on ewr). So personally I would love an event that causes the WWF/E, WCW, TNA, etc to be gone, and several alternative mods being around snapping up the available talent. Loving the idea of like 3 or 4 cult promotions trying to get to national first.

To the point there is a tonne of reasons why modders don't even include him in the Deceased Wrestlers in their mods. I personally fantasy that it never happened at all and import him (this also includes Guerrero and Owen) but you will never... EVER have someone recreate that horrific event in any fantasy for "shits and giggles". This also was not on the list of proposed mod's I was planning to do as stated please choose from the list of proposed mods.

This is one of my favourites as with the toxic people that currently are behind the scenes it could actually happen even though unlikely. Considering around 2008 Hulk had his celebrity championship wrestling on CMT, maybe have a TV show on CMT, and have the celebrity involvement to a degree. During the suggested time period (2005-2012) companies like Dragon Gate USA, and Evolve got started. Maybe have Paul Heyman work with his old protege in Gabe. Have Heyman either start his own company that is a part of the World Wrestling Network. If the alternative event starts in 2005, would that mean Eddie Guerrero is still alive? If so, personally I would like to see him head to either NJPW or Mexico, and have a good run there. If Lucha Underground gets started earlier in this world, I think Guerrero as a figure head would do wonders, a Lucha Underground with the Guerreros, Mysterio, Alberto, Mistico (as he never went to the WWE wouldnt develop a bad rep, and would be working stateside for Lucha Underground, and not have to compromise his style. Is the WWE dead? If not, I think Triple H and Stephanie should be in charge. With HHH's NXT being pretty succesful in real life, maybe have some of those elements involved in a much smaller WWE trying to claw back. With it being started in 2005, John Cena never had his decade on top. I would like to see him being a heel rapper somewhere, maybe on the indy scene, maybe in Hulks promotion. Also think a big canadian company should be formed. Stampede lead by the Hart family seems to be the most obvious choice. Maybe have a working relationship with Stampede and NOAH, to see some teams like the Killer Elite Squad, Cesaro and Kidd work both in Canada and Japan. Edge, Christian, Jericho, Benoit, Steen, Generico, Omega. Maybe Stampede is also where the brits get some exposure, such as Devitt, still too early for the current crop on the british scene. First of all thank you for putting so much thought into this and secondly I am quite happy to say you're going to be a happy chappy as we are running fairly close in thought process. The American continent will not be the same after I drop the disaster piece I have in mind. Funny you pick out Heyman as that is usually what happens when I fantasy real world in my personal time. As for the drastic character changes there will be times and places that this will happen and some that will continue to be the elevated personas they have created when the story is written it will add to the dynamic of it rather than just chopping and changing to wing it being completely different.

I think I have my decision, thanks again mate.

Update

Hi all, it was a long time coming back to getting back into this mod, with procrastination, family and work being my factors for delays (HAH!... life...) and holy shit! the entire original Concept data has been totally scrapped as far as the data has gone and has been reworked and put back together.

I have brought it into the current year, drafted rosters and staff for 10 companies.

The deceased members of the real world have been laid back to rest and there'll be minor reality bending going forth.

I have left the original update and status report below to remember from where it has come from to where it is now and will be going forwards.

Through the next 24 hours I will be releasing the companies along with their Owners and Bookers with more coming during the week.

*Graphics need to be done for the following;

- Company Logos *DONE*

- Company Banners

- Event/TV Show Graphics

- Championship Graphics

*Backstories and History have been mapped into bullet points and notes but need to be written into what it deserves.

*Events for companies need to be named and created.

*Broadcasting contracts need to be finished.

#All companies have had their unique products created and assigned.

- Trial simulations have been completed to ensure company products do not effect the game world in unforeseen ways and has passed multiple times (Except for one time where Eric Bischoff died on the second day in... yikes).

#Rosters have been drafted and contracts have been assigned.

#TV Shows have been created and assigned.

The Death of VKM mod is coming along smoothly and just thought I would give you guys an update on where everything is at.

I have completed a 6 month Simulation with just the owners and bookers set up with the primary 18 companies to see how the cards would fall in a simulation and monitored it on a day by day basis; really compelling [/s] with some shocks which were quite entertaining to view.

Now moving on to preparing the game world with some notes to work off of as well as my original intentions some changes have been made to make it seem realistic as possible given the circumstances of the fantasy mod, I wanted the players to feel that this scenario could actually happen in a perfect world even though some portions of the story driven world and events are strictly fiction. To the point the backstory could be turned into a novel of sorts, but in hindsight I am not going to force people to read a massive amount literature to play a game.

All staff have been drafted and assigned to companies and all that is left is drafting workers to said companies+graphics, titles+graphics, schedules/events+names+graphics.

To those who are concerned about the simulation making the final decisions on what happens do not fear whatsoever, the sim was performed to see how the Owners and Bookers would handle their duties without raising and modifying stats. All 18 promotions started with the same popularity and money with literally just the Owner and Booker contracted to see how they would handle the first 6 months and I am happy to say their was no closures or mass events in which that I have to re-evalute the scenario.

Notes;

*This is looking at being a choose your company and run type of scenario with 18 promotions in focus a lot of the workers will be assigned to written contacts [will be covered in the backstory] prior unless you literally want to start small and create your own stars and work your way up the really hard way to compete with the big 18. The other RW promotions that are not of the main story arc will still be active in this mod and I am refraining from raping and pillaging through their rosters as much as possible.

*Only 3 people have brought back from the afterlife to coincide with my story arc I felt 2 of them were necessity to my story with one being a bittersweet moment out of lack of quality staffers and not wanting to create Generic Staffers and argue about stats come later on but nonetheless it fits the arc without being a complete 'really?' moment.

*Graphics will be the easiest part of what is to follow so I am not entirely focused on that part until the very last stages, the job stages will pan out as so;

**Probably one of the best things that has happened naturally is the fact I have been doing most of the data into an excel as I go which will be available when the mod goes live so players will able to view who is where to save a bit of time in the grand scheme of things.

Lastly there will be another sim period to ensure this all goes to plan without crumbling within the first 6 months and making it unplayable.
