The call I got from Catherine Quinne, C-Q, to her close friends, to meet her in the AAA offices today surprised me. I had finally decided to retire from the wrestling business pretty content on what I had achieved. Though I never reached the highs of mainstream glory, I was able to make great relationships, have great matches, and achieve a career I believe some women would be a bit envious of.

I walked through the AAA office and looking at some of the pictures and posters on the wall of past events, past alumni, and special moments in the promotion history brought a smile to my place.

AAA- Angel Athletic Association.

The first, and in my opinion, still the best North American women based wrestling promotion. And in June of this year, it will be 20 years since the promotion doors opened. To be open for 20 years is an great accomplishment. A lot of other wrestling promotions have come and gone since AAA opened its doors.

But.....I always thought AAA could be bigger. A lot of the girls did. Me and Catherine would talk about ways Anne Stardust could expand the promotion to other areas and really put women's wrestling on the map. And that so happened to be the first thing we discussed when I stepped into her office.

"An event in New York city, Chicago, that is my goal for the company. I want to take this company to new heights Grace."

"And you'll get there. You have a great roster of girls, so the matches will be great. You're just going to have to take chances. You cant win if your not playing the game right? What can I do to help? PR, spokeswoman, you name it. I'm there Cat."

Cat smiled at me, a smile that quickly made her lower her head a bit. "Cherry doesn't want the book anymore. Too much on her plate right now. She just wants to concentrate on being a mentor to the younger girls on the roster."

Her intentions was written on her face. Butterflies began to spread their wings in my stomach as it became clear to me what the reason for the meeting was today.

"Do you still have the black book?

"In a box in the attic...."

The Black Book.A book I kept for fun where I would write down story-line ideas I had for AAA and other wrestling companies that I would show Cat and some of the other girls from time to time. Belle said I should perhaps look into writing for television once I was done with the business.

"I still remember that angle you pitched to Anne of Me, you and The Wild times forming that 4 horsewoman stable after Girl on Girl Action 2007"

"The crucifixion of J-RO."

We both laughed at the same time. "The look on Anne's face when we pitched that!"

"Look Grace, I could be very well in over my head now running AAA. Between the finances, business decisions, sponsorship dealing with, and doing color commentary for the events I don't want to burn out or have to worry about how the show is being put together. I need your help."

I mulled it over for a minute and then decided that I was going to take the job. But I couldn't resist trying to pull a fast one on Cat. I got up, took a huge breath, turned my back on her and began to walk towards the door. Grabbing the handle I said, "How much does it pay?"

Luckily for Cat I had kept up with the product, knew the story-lines Cherry Bomb was booking, and kept my relationships with most of the girls on the roster.

I had four weeks until the first event of 2016.

I was going to need a new book........

OOC: I have recently getting more and more into TEW since I first got the game in early 2015. With the release of 2016 I'm going to try my hand at a dynasty. This is my first time doing something like this and I hope I can make it enjoyable for those that choose to follow.

The phone call with C-Q went good, better than expected actually. Tickets are flying out of the window in anticipation of our first show of 2016. Merchandise is also doing well.

Happy holidays 'twas indeed.

I was a bit nervous before hitting send on my email to Catherine that outlined the card for the next AAA show "Pretty Amazing". It's going to the be the first show of a new year and I want to hit the ground running. Cat agreed with me and thinks what I have planned should get us moving in the next direction.

Last night I went over the roster again and putting it against my plans for the new year, its clear there are going to have be some cuts and some fresh faces bought into the company. While I always think of AAA has a big promotion, the allure of the big two, and more importantly the BIG MONEY, will always be an annoying tick in the back of my mind.

Hell, I left the company to try my luck across the border

Lord knows we have a lot of talent that they could use for their division.

One offer that I put was to try and bring Vixxen back to the company.

We could use her to be a road agent. Vixxen always had a good mind on how to put together matches, at lease in my own opinion, plus she is a locker room leader and we could really use her experience.

I walked into the Washington State Gymnasium to see how the event set up was going. Part of Catherine and my self's game plan to expand the company would not only be in the ring but outside the ring. That means upgrading our production.

Our Production Values are now considered by industry standard "Professional". A new entrance way that will be flagged to the left and right with video screens to capture a wrestlers name and past highlights, new ring aprons, and an expansion on ways to edit our videos. It came at bit of a hefty price as its going to cost us $ 7,500 a month and $2,000 per show but its money well spent by the looks of it.

Well also start to use smaller bands for custom original (or knock-off) entrance songs for the wrestlers. The fees will also up the bill another $7,500 but that was also something I thought we needed.

In my opinion, a wrestlers entrance song can really set her apart from pack. Years ago, me and some of the girls tried to convince Anne to at least bring in a custom musician to handle the music in-house and that was "Too rich for HER blood."

On the way out of the Gym I ran into Sarah Taylor as she was helping the ring crew set up. The bubbly fan favorite was one I def had marked down for the future.

She thanked me and said she was a big fan of me growing up.

"I got some ideas for promo ideas I could shoot myself and send in so we could upload it to youtube. I know my place right now is make the other girls look like a million bucks but I do want to get over and move up"

"We'll all do and your chance will come." I said, patting her on the back as I stepped out the door.

The plan now is to start to record and upload promo videos and interviews that we either cant fit onto the live show or just to build up buzz for the next show to our you tube page. Youtube is a tool that Anne should have been using more that we def. will now. We're gonna place them on the DVD has bonus features too.

**Talia goes onto to say that if it wasn't for the officials pulling her apart from Wendy, after she added insult to injury, she would have put her in a wheelchair and ended her sorry excuse for a wrestling career short. She states that the challenge is still open because no one has stepped up to the plate and with Pretty Amazing days away she wonders if anyone will. Selina Agrees with her.**

They point their index fingers to the sky and say,"The UPRISING continues."

The show opens on the announce desk with our hosts, AAA lead announcer Jim Lou Freebush and Catherine Quine. They welcome everybody to the show and wish them a Happy New Year. Catherine chimes in that she also hopes none of them have already broken their new year resolutions. They run down tonights card and give their thoughts on tonight's Main Event between Joanne Rodriguez & Sara Marie York vs The A-List.

Grace Harper's music hits and the fans erupt. The announcers wonder what she is doing back her in the AAA after her recent retirement. Grace steps into the ring and after a few "cheap" pops by bigging up the fans she announces that the AAA Board of Directors have made her the new AAA Commissioner and Match Maker, to which the fans erupt in delight.

"Showstopper" by Brandon and Leah blare through the speakers and the A-List strut down to the ring with their manager Cat Jemson.

"Just when I thought we were rid of you, they pull your ass back in," Demelza says with clenched fists motioning to her chest.

She goes on to say that she doesn't agree with the decision and it just proves that the board is as dumb has the fans in this Arena. As far as The A-List is concerned, Grace better not do anything to cross them or she will be sorry for it.

"I have no intention of doing that," Grace retorts. "In fact, I know you two are talented and my number one job is to put on the best show possible for our great fans. So tonight's Tag Team Match will be No Disqualification."

The A-List shake their heads yes, begrudgingly so.

"And If whichever one of you pins your opponents will receive a Femme Fatale Title shot at your next Event." The fans like that and so does the A-List, though they do size each other up knowing that whichever one of them gets the pinfall is in line for a title shot.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, both wrestlers were evenly matched as they both looked to move into Top Contender Championship contention but it was Zoe Ammis who came away with the victory.

Winner: Zoe Ammis defeated Wendy Anderson in 11:51 by pinfall with a Double Cross.

Paige Croft's music hits and the fans cheer.

"The Most Miserable Bitch since 666 is in the building," Catherine Quinn yells.

"You know something Talia, I agree with you...on a lot of things. All those bitches in the bitches are pussies, no heart, no passion, no skill. There is one thing we don't see eye to ey on though....You aint gonna break me sister...because before you even think of getting that chance im going to make you tap the **** out."

Paige attacks her and the match begins.

In a bout that had decent wrestling that went back and forth, Paige Croft defeated Talia Quinzel with the "All booked up". After the match, Talia is irate claiming that she did not tap and that she was going for Paige's wrist to unlock the hold. The ref stands by his decision and for that, he is takes a shot from Talia right to the face.

Winner: Paige Croft with a All Booked Up in 13:13. Paige Croft wins the AAA Top Contender's title.

In a bout that had decent wrestling, The Good Lookin' Bunny tandem put up a valiant effort against the champs. There were a couple of near falls, but in the end, Lilly & Rose defeated Good Lookin' Bunny in 12:12 when Kate Lilly defeated Katherine Goodlooks by pinfall with The Thorn.

In a decent match, Steph Blake defeated Suzanne Brazzle after the Referee was knocked down by accident when Brazzle went for The Miracle Connection. While the ref was down, the match went to the outside and Steph Blake seized the opportunity to lay her out with a sling-shot DDT on a steel chair, drag her body into the ring, and get the ref to groggily make the 1-2-3 count.

Sara is excited to finally get their hands on the A-List, and with Grace adding the NO DQ stipulation their should be nothing that can stand in their way on achieving a victory. Joanne nods in agreement, but places her index finger in her chest "After we defeat the A-List tonight, that the Femme Fatale Title will once again be her main goal. I want a title shot at the next event."

SMY agrees, "May the best woman win."

It's been a week since my first show after been giving the book by Catherine and the reviews are still coming in praising the show. Catherine was glad at all the awesome feedback Pretty Amazing has gotten which bought a smile to my face. A part of me was confident in a good show, but you just never know.

The girls worked their butt of that night, especially Cherry Bomb and Jaime Quine who had the match of the night according to the fans outside the gym that night.

With More than meets the Eye coming soon, I had to really start putting my plans in motion with a long eye at the biggest event in the company's history looming "Women of Wrestling 20".

Foxy Larue, A tall good brawler with lots of Star Quality was offered a contract and to my delight she signed for us. I've seen a couple of her matches she was in down south at QAW and I feel she'll fit in nicely here.

"Red Hot" Laura Flame was also signed. She has great in ring skills for a girl her age (22), a black belt in Karate, and was trained by the infamous Hell Monkey. Good pedigree indeed.

Last night, I got a text from Vixxen that she was going to formally accept our offer to be a Road Agent too. Catherine, Devil's Daughter, and myself took her out to dinner and made the pitch to her. She obviously liked it, though my wallet didn't, as I was left footing the entire bill.

The things we do to win....

With those two new signings coming in, and a contract offer out to Sara Marie York to extend by two years, we had to trim the roster and that meant letting Ellie Marie Walton go.

Catherine is going to Mexico this weekend to meet with Joaquin Soler, owner of OLLIE, about a potential working agreement I suggested we do with them. They have a nice women's division and with OLLIE and 5SSW roster at phone call away for the foreseeable future, AAA will always be able to bring in top notch talent to the North East from around the world. And Vice-versa of course, I would love to send some of our younger girls around the world to get them experience wrestling different styles.

I warned Cat not to be incited by joining the COTT. I have a sneaking suspicion that's the real reason Joquin flew her out there for the meeting. Nothing against the COTT, but it would go against our expansion plans.

Before she departed for Mexico she told me what her firm goals for me has a booker was:

AAA must not fall below regional size
AAA must not fall below #25 in the power rankings
I cannot hire or extend the contract of anyone who has less than a D- Industry Reputation
I cannot hire or extend the contract of anyone who has less than D- Resilience
I cannot hire or extend the contract of anyone who has less than a D- Psychology

The card for More Than Meets the eye was released on Monday and tickets are going fast again.

AAA and OLLIE reach agreement

It is being reported that a new Working Agreement is now in place that will see OLLIE and AAA potentially share wrestlers in the future. The deal was made, apparently, when AAA owner Catherine Quine and Joquin Soler happened to meet at a "Buisness" meeting last week.

In a pre-show dark match, Steffi Chee and Sarah Taylor teamed up for the first time and defeated local girl Power Girl and the violent violet Simony Sentinel in 8:12 when Sarah Taylor capitalized on a mistake by Power girl and reversed her into a Newton's Cradle for the 1-2-3.

In a pre-show dark match, bout that didn't have much heat and decent wrestling, Talia Quinzel defeated Lady Liberty in 6:36 by pinfall with a Spinal Trauma.

They run down tonight's card and give their thoughts on tonight's Main Event Femme Fatale Championship match between the champion, everyone fav. girl next door Sara Marie York, and her opponent, The A-Lister Demezla Wade.

With Kate Lilly and Debbie Rose playing host, AAA welcomed in the mexican luchadoras Electric Blue. Lilly Rose were pushed to the limit by the high flying duo, and the AAA faithful where driven to their feet when they hit their finisher, nearly pulling out the win. However, the Dream was cut short when Lilly finished Electric Blue to the delight of the AAA faithful. After the match was done a "Please Come Back!" chant was started and meet with approval by the Mexican duo.

The Good Lookin' Bunnies are the middle of the ring sitting on stools with various Stuffed animal set decorations around them. They introduce us to their new talk Show "Cocktails with the Bunnies"

Katherine welcomes their first guest and its the Backbreaker Messiah Talia Quinzel. She comes down to the ring, microphone in hand, to a chorus of boos. Once in the ring, Talia looks around at the set and a look of disgust creeps onto her face.

"The only reason I am doing this god awful show, if you wanna call it that, is because it was the only way to get onto the main show. Our new "great" commishinor fined me a month's pay and took me off this month's card has some sort of punishment for my actions at Pretty Amazing."

"Yes....yes she did Talia," Jessia interrupted. "Its a decision that at first, me and Katherine, were like, on your side, but like, has we watched your match....available on Blu-ray at http://www.AAAwrestling.com go get it....it did look like you were tapin--"

Talia motions for Jessica to stop, moving her thumb underneath her neck from east to west. "I didn't tap I was still fighting and the person that Ms. Harper should have suspended is our head AAA referee Dwight Kumas." Talia's last comments draws jeers from the crowd.

The Good Lookin' bunny announce that they are all about peace, love, and solutions. And they invited Dwight to come out here so that Talia can apologize and get back in the good graces of the commishioner.

That's when Talia starts to STRIKE and puts him in position to apply her finisher.....but she is interrupted by

"I'll make the bitch tap out to prove to her, you, and these stupid people that I am the best wrestler in this company. When im done with her, that cute little nickname of hers, is coming with me too along with the AAA top contenders belt."

Grace shakes her head in agreement. "I like that idea of match, but you're going to have to earn it. Tell you what Talia, you win your match at our next event, Girls on Girl actions, and you have your wish."

"I cant wait until More than meets the eye because I finally get the chance to regain what's mine and that is the Femme Fatale title. The fact that Sarah Marie York has had her slimey hands on that title and lowered its prestige down to her D-List level makes me sick. The only thing about this place is THAT title. Its a prestigious title and it belongs with an A-Lister.

The camera cuts to Nadia Snow. She takes a sip of wine, savoring it before speaking.

"The talk on the internet is that the there might be some dissension within the A-List but I want to clear the air here. I am fully behind Demelza. She is my best friend, tag team partner, and mentor. Not only in wrestling but in life. She deserved that title shot.......and she is going to win. I have nothing but faith in you that you will come out with the victory on Tuesday."

A great debut saw Foxy Larue, the new girl on the scene, take it to the A-List member. Foxy showed her brawling skills and for the most of the match seemed to have the upper hand on Nadia, whose mind could be elsewhere. But the AAA mainstay collected herself, fought back, and defeated the self-proclaimed "The Original Baddest Bitch, No Remix" with a Snowball

Winner: Nadia Snow defeated Foxxy LaRue in 11:18 by pinfall with a Snow Ball.

Following last month's defeat to Cherry Bomb, Jaime Quine was determined to get back into the right results column. But she faced a tough competitor in Tracy Brendon who is also looking to move up the card and get herself into contention for a Title Shot. After a good back and forth, that saw them switch from mat wrestling to brawling to the outside, it was Jaime Quine who snatched the victory with a K.O kick to seal the deal.

Winner: Jaime Quine defeated Tracy Brendon in 14:39 by pinfall with a K.O. Kick.
Grade: D+

After the match, Jaime Quine joined the commentary team to watch the Cherry Bomb vs J-RO match. Her reasoning being, she will see Cherry Bomb again and next time she will be extra prepared.

A match that was going to surely put the winner in prime position for the next title shot it ultimately fell into chaos as Cherry Bomb could not stop goading, insulting, and bravado to the guest commentator Jaime Quine. The constant barrage forced Jaime to lose her cool and out of nowhere she sprung to the ring and started attack Cherry Bomb which lead to the DQ victory for her.

Winner: Cherry Bomb defeated Joanne Rodriguez in 19:55 when Joanne Rodriguez was disqualified when Jaime Quine ran in and attacked Cherry Bomb.

After the match has been declared a DQ, Cherry Bomb and Jaime Quine continue to brawl all over the gym until AAA officials finally tear them apart form each other. Both of them vowing that they will get the upper hand.

To say Bad blood had built up between these two would be the understatement of the year. After months and months of buildup, Demelza Wade finally got a chance to win back the AAA Femme Fatale Championship. A tightly contested affair saw the "on-deck" involvement of her manager Cat Jemson, doing whatever she could to help her client win the title. That included hitting York with some brass knuckles when she was thrown to the outside.

All this extra involvement brought out Joanne Rodriguez, who nailed Cat Jemson with a J-Rocker on the outside. That distracted Wade who was in turn hit with an Energy Burst and York got the victory and another successful Title defense.

Winner: Sara Marie York defeated Demelza Wade in 20:19 by pinfall with an Energy Burst. During the match we also saw Cat Jemson attack York, and Joanne Rodriguez also attack Jemson. Sara Marie York makes defence number 4 of her AAA Femme Fatale title.

Demelza Wade is irate after the match. She grabs Cat Jemson by the shirt collar and demands to know where Nadia Snow is/was and how come she didn't have her back. Cat shakes her head from side to side and Wade runs back to the locker room has Sara Marie York celebrates in the ring with the title

The Good news: Another show, another sell out.

The Bad news: Devil's Daughter suffered a back injury via a botched move by Paige Croft. I had to separate the two in the locker room after their match has DD was justifiable upset because the injury is going to put her out of action for 3 months.

Paige, the small bucket of fire bless her heart, was annoyed at herself for causing the injury but DD wouldn't hear it and now we have simmering tension between the two. It's a situation I am going to have to monitor very, very closely.

I had big plans for DD and I'm going to have to shuffle around the pieces to account for this injury but such is life in the wrestling business.

The Good news: According to the accountants, we are on course to make a profit this month. That is great news considering we had a loss in January of about $8,000 dollars. We're going to have to start increasing our bank account if my goal of reaching Cult promotion status in two years is going to be reached.

The Bad News: I think one of the reasons for the gain this month was that I had to release a few girls. Lady Liberty, she is a wonderful vet, but she didn't fit into any of my future plans and wasn't worth the money the company was paying her In my own opinion. CQ agreed. We also said good bye to Black Widow, with Vixxen proving more than worthy of being a good road agent, I didn't think a company of this size needed two road agents. Plus, Widow had a certain way of rubbing the majority of girls backstage the wrong way, so I'm not exactly shedding any tears on her leaving AAA.

According to http://www.Totalwrestling.com, we finished NUMBER 1 in the regional battle in the south west. That is great news and its all down to the hard work the girls have been putting on.

Hopefully, it can stay that way..............
