I've gone back and forth over the years on using NGO and my own picture pack but having spent years seeking out quality pictures and then cutting them just right and placing them just right on the background. The NGO method is just so much easier and quicker that alone is enough of a reason to use it in my opinion.

The lack of cutting keeps the quality higher.</p><p> </p><p> As for the nGo generations pack, as another poster mentioned, it is designed to stretch from the 80s to modern times, though admittedly it only reaches the early 2000s effectively right now. This is good because the more mods who adopt it means they don't have to update pic packs, the player only needs one folder AND potentially a mod maker can just import agers from an nGo friendly mod and update pictures with a click of a button instead of manually assigning pics.</p>

1 is answered so I'll jump to 2.... Angles haven't been touched yet, we deleted the old labelled ones by request..... I'll look at offering more this weekend :)

I'm guessing there would be a need to change it, if people discovered mistakes :)

 

I love online people think they always have to put out the .1% to everything. Of course if people find mistakes it would need to be changed. He is very good about making mods. I was more talking about updating the history part of it. Mods by design are up to the mod makers. So if you don't like this mods. You are missing out on the one of the best experiences in tew to me. I understand everybody has there own feel for the game. I'm just tired of editing databases. He is the only one to hit every piece of the puzzle. I care more about having fun now than spending 6 hrs editing a database before I even play it. So don't fear he is great at mods and we won't be let down with it.

I know all about his mods, trust me. And it was NOT an attack on him as a mod-maker. Sometimes people release Beta versions first, to see if people find any mistakes. Maybe the title histories or so on... I was not talking about people's oppinions on stats and so forth.

ok cool lets end our debate there. Honestly if it was a beta I would just wait for a full release. Since I would have to start all over again with a new game. I never have accomplish my goal in tew. I sticking to one mod through out the entire cycle. So my goal of everybody worked in the mod to be playable will come true. Pretty much only way to be a camp in the game lol

Beta is in progress now, it will be a full release though I'm sure some mistakes may be found.

 

I know exactly what you meant when you asked Grunger it will be complete, even more so then TGA for TEW2013. I know when I'm waiting for a mod I like to hear progress as often as possible so I feel you, I've tried to not let too much out to save some surprises like screens etc :)

 

The reason it's taken so long is because we've gone over every single worker in the database, every single piece of data in the mod to be more precise. From improvements to changes based on feedback and all the new features everything is getting attention. We're in the stages of refining, testing, finishing up YTD and polishing.
