Greenwald hung on to prevail in 10:57 by pinfall with a Molly Go Round. Nora Greenwald makes defence number 3 of her PSW Women's Championship title. 59

Nora Greenwald has won her first six matches in PSW.

It is Chris Jericho's turn to talk about tonight's Crowning Glory Series Final. He says he is the best in the world and while John Cena is a worthy finalist, he isn't going to be Y2J tonight or on any other night. Jericho finishes by saying he's going to win back the National Championship at Crowning Glory IX. 87

CROWNING GLORY TAG TEAM SERIES FINAL

CM Punk & Colt Cabana v New Wave

This was a great match that featured three quarters of the old faction of New Wave, with the tag team that stayed together when the group disbanded facing the former champions CM Punk & Colt Cabana. All four men put in a sterling effort and were very impressive and it was Steen and Aries who will go on to challenge the champions at Crowning Glory IX when they won in 15:26 when Kevin Steen defeated Colt Cabana by pinfall with a Steenalizer. Will they finally claim the championship at PSW's biggest show? 82

New Wave have won their last eight matches.

CM Punk & Colt Cabana's win streak ends at nine.

We are backstage in the office of the Director of Operations. In with Bret Hart are Jeff Jarrett and Lance Storm. Bret asks the two if they want the chance to win a championship in PSW. Both of course say yes. Bret says he is glad, because they are great when they team together and their match is next when they challenge for the National Tag Team Championship, with Bret finishing by telling the two now unhappy team mates that they had better get the job done. 63

Bret Hart improvised well.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac78/Nobby_McDonald/GenericTagTeam02_zpsa9f639bc.jpg

PSW NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Dragon's Army (Iven Lessard & Iven Michaud, champions) v Jeff Jarrett & Lance Storm

At first it looked like Jarrett and Storm were on the same page as the shared goal of winning the National Tag Team Championship saw them show excellent team work. They even managed to dispose of the expected interference that arrived in the form of two other Super Dragons.

However, that all changed when Jeff Jarrett formed the opinion that Lance Storm was doing all the work and hogging the limelight. It started with him shouting at Lance Storm. Then he pushed him into the ropes. Lance retaliated by shoving Jarrett. The two then started to brawl, which spilled out to ringside and ended in 9:49 when Lance Storm was counted out . Dragon's Army -Lessard/Michaud make defence number 5 of their PSW National Tag Team Championship titles. 57

Iven Lessard was off his game.

Jeff Jarrett and Lance Storm displayed excellent chemistry.

Iven Michaud is improving in rumble skills.

Dragon's Army have won their last nine matches.

AJ Styles v Christopher Daniels

A keenly contested, fast paced, high flying match that saw some great, exciting action. AJ Styles is of course well established in PSW while Christopher Daniels still hasn't really found his true level. Daniels went a long way to do this though when he picked up an excellent victory that will go a long way towards ensuing he will make his debut in the Grappler's League next season. His win came in 19:06 by pinfall with a Last Rites. 78

AJ Styles has switched to a Blue Collar gimmick, rated 77.

Christopher Daniels has won his last five matches.

CROWNING GLORY SERIES FINAL

Chris Jericho v John Cena

A tremendous match. Both men knew what was at stake and fought with intent and it was a highly offensive match. It went back and forth with both men kicking out of their opponent's finisher move. It had to come to an end at some point and it did in 26:18 by submission with a Lion Tamer. Jericho celebrates and Cena looks devastated but you get a feeling his time will come in PSW. Jericho will face the National champion at Crowning Glory IX. 88 – match of the night

Chris Jericho has won his last seven matches.

John Cena's win streak ends at seven.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac78/Nobby_McDonald/Generic11_zps25f9747a.jpg

PSW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Rob Van Dam (champion) v Chris Benoit

This is a heated rivalry that has developed over the last month. Since Bret Hart named Chris Benoit as the challenger on PSW Weekly immediately after Choice of the New Generation, the two have attacked each other backstage and the contract signing degenerated into a brawl.

The two went at it right from the bell, trading punches, kicks and chops. When it came down to mat wrestling, Benoit started gaining control of the match. Rob Van Dam took it to the air when he could but Benoit largely kept him grounded.

The end of the match came when Benoit went aerial. Benoit went for a diving head butt of the top rope. He missed and quick as a flash Rob Van Dam was up and running the ropes to hit Rolling Thunder. He quickly followed that by leaping to the top rope himself and in a matter of a few seconds the match had ended in 21:14 by pinfall with a Frog Splash. Rob Van Dam makes defence number 4 of his PSW National Championship title. 84

Rob Van Dam has won his last five matches.

Show rating: B+ 83

PSW has increased in popularity in the South East.

Attendance: 9,127

Profit: $129,345

QUICK RESULTS

Rob Van Dam beat Chris Benoit to retain the National Championship

Chris Jericho beat John Cena in the Crowning Glory Series Final

Christopher Daniels beat AJ Styles

Dragon's Army beat Jeff Jarrett & Lance Storm by count out to retain the National Tag Team Championship

New Wave beat CM Punk & Colt Cabana in the Crowning Glory Tag Team Series Final

Nora Greenwald beat Amazing Kong to retain the Women's Championship

Melissa beat Linda Miles in the Crowning Glory Women's Series Final

Alex Shelley beat Joe Hennig to retain the Youth Championship

Randy Orton beat Alex Wright (pre show)

Eiji Ezaki beat Christian York (pre show)
