Hey guys, I got it fixed on my Mac (running High Sierra).

You'll need to start from the beginning, and create your own wrapper, don't download OP's wrapper.

When you boot up the Wrapper initially, click into Set Screen Options and un-check Auto-Detect GPU.

Then follow OP's instructions (I think later versions of Wineskin don't need you to do anything fancy for the Jet40 bit, it's much simpler than it was before).

You should be good to go!

Please help

I'm confused. I have the game downloaded, I have the mod downloaded, how do I get the mod into the game? I tried creating a wrapper for the 2009.rar that I'm using but it didn't work, the only thing that would work was my tew2016 file, but it looks like i just reinstalled the game instead of getting the mod on it. Please, what do I do?

Thanks.

I know i post here a lot but whenever i try to run the winetricks part the app opens and it won't complete the process and says i have to close the wrapper before i do it and even though i close it multiple times it still opens and happens whenever i try to run vb6run

well i figured that out now it said that it couldn't open cause the executable file wasn't found or something

I still cannot get this to work on Wine

I can go all the way through the install process with the demo for now, but when I set it to be the .exe file to actually run the game, just nothing happens, even when I do test run.

I have had it working before which is so frustrating but I cannot figure out what is wrong here

I get WMMA5 to work following this thread on Arch Linux.

Installing `native_oleaut32` and `allfonts` via winetricks solves some UI issues like font, thumbnail color resolutions in WMMA5

I use a different WINEPREFIX so I have to do one more thing:

Copy and rename ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/OVSB~3IL.OCX to ~/.tew-wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/ovsBooleanControls.ocx which can fix a crash on clicking in some buttons.

Updated:

This file also has to be copied:

~/.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/Msflxgrd.ocx to ~/.tew-wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/Msflxgrd.ocx

This is a known issue that I had mentioned in my original WMMA thread. Thanks for pointing this out to others!

I got to the final step where I go to Mac HD, user then applications to go to new 2016. I right click and nothing happened≥ I had no choice to show package contents. When I double clicked it was an uninstall program. Trying to figure out what went wrong here.

Update: When I go to dl ie6. Its telling me to place it in a particular folder, but the OP mentioned to keep ut where you opened wine. The folder was I believe users/myname/.cache/winetracks. I couldn’t find it anywhere. Aby help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to use it on PC and Mac then you'd have to unlicense off one and relicense on the other each time you swap over.

So I tried this again. I downloaded Ie6 and ran it again. It told me to download msie60.exe and place it in: ./cache/winetricks/ie6 then re run it. Is this a hidden area that I do not know about? I can't find it looking for it. I am pretty new to apple. When I previously tried it the other dlls and settings I had to look in worked okay so I know this is the one that is giving me problems. Please I would appreciate any help.

A public service announcement for anyone referring to this thread: macOS Catalina has effectively killed GDS support.

Catalina has eliminated support for 32-bit programs. This means that CrossOver and WINE no longer have the capabilities to utilize macOS tools that used to allow running various Windows programs.

To still use this method (at least until WINE and CrossOver update their programs) you cannot update to Catalina when prompted. If you do, none of your wine or crossover windows programs will work.
