</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The show opens with a video package shot earlier today of The Giant visiting a slaughterhouse. He’s wrapped up warm in a hooded jumper and beanie hat, and goes striding into the meat locker. We see his breath thick in the cold air as he strides through the freezer, knocking hanging carcasses aside. He points to a particularly thick carcass, and the meat-packing workers begin unhooking it for him as he stands there with arms folded and a mean expression on his face.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Hurricane and Money shake hands to begin the bout, as Mike Tenay notes on commentary that the two last faced off in a title match last June — both in past lives and under different names. The two exchange dropkicks and hurricanranas, with Money hitting a sudden Crash Landing suplex and going for the cover! Helms forces the shoulder up just in time and rolls to the outside to recover, and Money presses the advantage by trying for a Fosbury Flop to the outside! Money soars through the air, but Helms manages to dodge and he gets the guard-rail hard to the ribs! Money is sucking in air as Hurricane throws him back in and finishes him off with the Eye of the Storm. The pair shake hands afterwards, with Tenay reminding us that “a high risk style means your fortunes in a match can change at moment’s notice.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> James Mitchell and Christopher Daniels are in a dark room backstage. Mitchell strokes the Necronomicon adoringly, while Daniels holds the Cruiserweight Championship close. “The Family is strong, the Family is ruthless,” Daniels states coldly. “Faith will be repaid with salvation, but non-believers will be punished. We are not afraid to exorcise heretics in our midst, such as the Sindicate. We are not afraid to snuff out adherents of a false faith whether they dwell in this land or the land of the Rising Sun, such as Jushin Thunder Liger… or the Jung Dragons.” He smirks to Mitchell, then turns back to the camera. “At Uncensored, I will face you for the Cruiserweight Championship. Yang, Hayashi, Tajiri — it doesn’t matter. Surprise me. No matter what, the Necronomicon will feed upon you all.” What a cheesy promo, who’s writing this crap?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> O’Haire starts things off with Palumbo, who eats two clotheslines and a big boot before deciding to tag out to Raven. Raven and O’Haire jostle back and forth, before O’Haire outmuscles him and tags in Steve Corino — and Raven retreats to the corner and tags in Rico. Corino throws Constantino around with a series of suplexes before setting up for the Old School Expulsion — but Palumbo rushes in to break it up. O’Haire hits the ring in response, as the two men spill to the outside and begin brawling back and forth. Wright gets the tag from Corino, and goes to work on Rico — he tries for the German Suplex, but Constantino hits him with a low blow and rolls him up. The referee was too distracted to see the blatant cheap shot, instead trying to break O’Haire and Palumbo up as we go to commercial.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> We return to the pre-tape of the Giant in the slaughterhouse. He’s on the abattoir’s factory floor, shedding his beanie and jumper as the workers set about hooking up the thick carcass. Daylight streams through green tinted windows, giving the whole scene a faintly unreal quality. As the carcass is hooked, the Giant is left alone to stare deep into its marbled flesh and protruding ribs, addressing the camera-man with a bemused snarl. “You know, it’s hard to find training partners nowadays, who the hell wants to be -my- punching bag? Now, training for a leather strap match? Nobody wanted to do it. Not for a million bucks. But meat don’t complain.” He laughs throatily.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Giant begins softening up the carcass with a series of hard jabs, melting ice spraying into the air as the meat rocks back and forth from the force of impact. “Ric Flair,” Giant screams at the carcass, “RIC FLAIR!” He continues pounding away at the carcass, and when he’s done the raw flesh is bruised and tenderised. Giant’s fists are caked with meat juice, as he barks at the cameraman to give him the strap. He measures the black leather strap out in his hands, then wraps the end around his fist as he lets out a booming chuckle. “Here’s your preview for Uncensored,” he warns the camera-man.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Giant whips the strap hard against the carcass, making a horrific wet slapping sound as it rolls and shakes back and forth on the hook. “RIC FLAIR,” Giant screams as he begins pelting it over and over with the strap, the leather cracking against the juicy soft meat. “RIIIIIIC FLAAAAAAIR,” goes the battle-cry again, the Giant’s voice echoing down the factory floor. We see the Giant strike the carcass dozens of times with the strap, and afterwards he’s breathing heavily with sweat thick on his face. “I’m ready,” he snorts before striding off. The camera-man pans to the carcass, which has been utterly destroyed — covered in nasty welts and leaking stale blood. Bits of flesh hanging precariously from a cracked ribcage. Is this Ric Flair’s fate at Uncensored?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Arn Anderson is backstage in Shane McMahon’s office, and he hypes up tonight’s main-event: Kanyon, Randy Orton, Hugh Morrus and Lance Storm in a four-way dance. Each of the four men’s teams will fight over the WCW Canadian Tag Team Championships at Uncensored, but Anderson drags a weary hand over his face and notes that there’s been enough interference and chicanery in recent weeks. “I’m getting too old for this,” he grumbles to himself, before regaining his composure. He announces that the four men’s partners and managers are banned from ringside tonight, to ensure a clean result. “You want chaos, a four-way dance will give you more than enough,” he promises wearily to the fans.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Abismo is at ringside. Mike Sanders is on commentary, claiming that “I had to get a load of these two up close. They talk a big game, but can they fight as a team — like me and Big Mark?” Smiley gets in some early offense, but Psychosis quickly takes him to the mat and begins wearing him down with wacky lucha submissions, including a modified surfboard and an octopus stretch. Booker T pounds the turnbuckle as he yells encouragements at Smiley, but the underdog finds himself being taken apart by strikes and suplexes, as Parka and Psychosis tag in and out repeatedly. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Smiley finally manages to squirm out of La Parka’s headlock and dives dramatically for the hot-tag — and lands on his belly half a foot away from Booker’s outstretched hand. Parka grabs his feet and drags him back into the centre of the ring, but this time Smiley pushes him off and flops his way back over to Booker! Booker T gets a red-hot tag and runs wild on both La Parka and Psychosis with flapjacks and roundhouse kicks. Abismo jumps on the apron as a distraction, but Booker catches him with a right hand that sends him toppling back to the floor. Booker gives Psychosis a huge spinebuster then hits the Book End on La Parka for the win!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> A weakened Norman Smiley hugs Booker in the middle of the ring as the duo celebrate their first tag team win. Mike Sanders stands up from the commentary desk and begins trash-talking the pair with a microphone in hand. “You think you’re good, you think you’re great? Norman Smiley, you’ve spent more time on the canvas than Rembrandt! Booker T, who’ve you ever beat? You’re not Above Average like Mike Sanders.” As Booker and Smiley stare a hole in Sanders at ringside, Mark Jindrak hits the ring and floors them both with a clothesline from behind! Sanders joins him in the ring as Double Trouble beat down Booker and Smiley, before posing over their fallen bodies.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Malenko controls the early part of the match with technical offense, but Styles manages to break free and begins dazzling the Ice Man with explosive high-flying manoeuvres! He hits the Pelé kick and a snap suplex into the corner, before heading up top for a Spiral Tap! Malenko gets the full brunt of it, but manages to kick out just in time. As the Radicalz begin screaming at Malenko, he falls prey to a Cliffhanger DDT for another near-fall. Eddy and Chavo look at each other in disbelief, as Saturn folds his arms with a grimace on his face. Paris and Kidman hit the ring to celebrate with Styles, hoisting him onto their shoulders. Malenko just rolls outside slowly, walking to the back with a miserable expression on his face, as if he’d rather be anywhere else right now. Saturn is the first to follow him to the back, as Los Guerreros continue to look on in shock.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Per Arn Anderson’s orders, none of the competitors’ partners or managers are at ringside. The match is a ruckus to start with, as all four men hammer each other with punches and kicks. Orton is sent to the outside by Kanyon, as Morrus clotheslines Storm out on the other side of the ring. Morrus and Kanyon turn to stare each other down, then begin going at it with slams and clobbering strikes. The bulk of the match is similar, with two men in as the other two recuperate on the outside of the ring. By the end, Kanyon is alone with Orton and hits the Flatliner! Storm breaks up the pin before hoisting Kanyon up and hitting him on the button with a superkick, sending him to the outside. Storm covers Orton, but this time Morrus makes the save. Morrus throws Storm head over heels to the outside then returns to the fallen Orton — he lifts him up and nails a rolling cutter to clinch a big win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Damn it raven!! why drugs whyyy??

Do you plan to give him another push when he returns??

He's out for about four or five months, so we'll see what the landscape is like and where he fits in when he returns. Some rather interesting changes should be occurring in the next few weeks, at least.

Always love a good WCW dynasty, so i will be reading as soon as I can. I will be honest, I never like rules like the ones you set. The idea is always creating a new world where everything can happen and not just what is considered realistic. However, those are personal preferences and everyone has it's own. I like what I saw so far, regardless, so I will be following. Have a lot to catch up to, but what i've read so far seems really promising. Carry on the good work.

Before? Don’t make me laugh.” Saturn tags in Crowbar and goes face to face with Corino, no love lost between the former partners. They lock up and exchange slams and strikes, before Corino rocks Crowbar with an Old School Kick to the chin — the momentum sends Corino falling backwards into his corner and D’Lo blind-tags his way in.*D’Lo begins talking trash to Corino and shaking his head back and forth, but meanwhile, Crowbar has tagged in Saturn. It’s just a ladder, man.” Malenko gets in Guerrero’s face, his nostrils flaring, and Chavo and Saturn have to intervene to hold them at bay.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Look, if we can’t get on the same page, we’ve already lost the titles,” Chavo pleads with the pair. “I didn’t make the match, none of us did — but we’ve got to rise to the challenge and make sure we remain Cruiserweight Trios Champions no matter what.” Eddy inhales deeply, murmuring lowly: “You’re right, Chavito. I got that fiery Latino blood coursing through my veins, man — I got carried away. Dean, we’ve known each other for years. I’m sorry, man.” He extends a hand out to Malenko, who looks it at for a moment before begrudgingly shaking it. Chavo smiles broadly as the two reconcile, and says: “We’ve got a match to win on Sunday. Don’t forget that, guys.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> We cut elsewhere in the backstage area, where Norman Smiley is still running down the corridors as he lets out a high-pitched shriek! Double Trouble give pursuit a good fifteen feet behind him, with Mark Jindrak lumbering on and Mike Sanders half-staggering after taking the Diamond Cutter. Smiley disappears around a corner, and Jindrak and Sanders follow… and get blindsided by Booker T! It was a trap! Booker offloads with lefts and rights on the tandem as Smiley joins him and throws some weak jabs of his own. Double Trouble are left laying as Booker snorts: “Payback’s a bitch, sucka. At Uncensored, we finish the job.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> We head to the Chucky’s Boutique set, where Rico Constantino is putting the last touches on a dented marble-effect panel on the wall. Chuck Palumbo is sprawled across his chaise-langue with Torrie Wilson laid beside him, and calls to Rico: “Are the preparations complete? Is my Boutique -whole- again?” Rico nods in affirmation, and Chucky lets out a pleased sigh. “Beautiful, just beautiful. Then I am proud to present the second edition of Chucky’s Boutique, starring Chuck Palumbo.” He lazily disentangles himself from Torrie and lifts himself from the sofa, as he introduces tonight’s guest: “Some say that in his day he was almost the equal of the Chuck Magnet. And at Uncensored he challenges for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Please welcome… the Nature Boy, Ric Flair!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ric Flair comes strutting out of the teak-effect doorway, looking bemused at the set. “How much did this cost you, fifty bucks?” he jokes. Chucky tuts: “You are my guest, please show some manners. My Boutique was painstakingly hand-assembled at laser-point by a team of skilled craftsmen and architects.” Flair smirks and leans over to rap his knuckles against the marble-effect wall, producing a hollow wooden clunking sound. “Right. Now, are you going to ask me questions about Uncensored or what, son? The Nature Boy ain’t got all day, woooo!” Palumbo frowns indignantly, and is about to open his mouth when Sean O’Haire bursts through the doorway and begins laying into him again!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Torrie shrieks as Rico tries to pull O’Haire off Palumbo, who is throwing scrappy punches in response to O’Haire’s hefty haymakers. Ric Flair just stands back with arms folded, grinning from ear to ear. Security begins streaming through the doorway to break it up, and an exhausted Arn Anderson comes shambling out and yells: “Enough! If you want to fight, you’ll do it in the ring. When we come back from commercial, it’ll be Chuck Palumbo and Rico Constantino versus Sean O’Haire and Ric Flair. Now break this up this moment, for God’s sake.” Anderson traipses off, half-tripping against the wall as Ric Flair shoots his friend a look of concern.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> When we return from commercial, all four men have made their way to the ring, and O’Haire dishes out early punishment to Rico, who eats a huge running powerslam and a meaty leg drop. Flair is tagged in, and begins strutting and showboating to the crowd’s delight as he wears down Constantino with chops and kicks. Rico manages to catch Flair with a thumb to the eye, and tags in Palumbo, who goes face to face with Flair and begins trash-talking him. They exchange hard shots, with the powerhouse Palumbo getting the better of it. He sets up for the TKO, but Flair elbows his way out and hits a chop-block to bring the Chuck Magnet low. Flair sets up for the Figure Four Leglock when the crowd begin to boo — the Giant is striding down to ringside, and he has the black leather strap in hand! Giant steps over the top rope and tosses the referee aside when he tries to intervene, before pummelling Flair. The referee is forced to call a DQ.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Giant balls the strap around his fist and gives Flair a single powerful whip with the leather. Naitch writhes back and forth on the canvas, letting out an agonising scream — and Giant raises the strap again, when Sean O’Haire cuts him off with a big boot to the chest! Giant staggers backwards, dropping the strap, but O’Haire is cut off by Palumbo and Constantino hitting the ring to blindside him. O’Haire manages to get Rico in his grip and toss him over the ropes, but his own brawl with Palumbo spills outside and begins heading through the crowd, with Torrie Wilson in chase to scream encouragement at Chucky.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Back in the ring, Flair has risen to his feet with a pained expression on his face, and eyes the strap laying between him and the Giant, who is still resting in the corner. Flair grabs the strap, wraps the end around his fist, and laughs maniacally, before closing the gap and beginning to beat Giant down with strap shots! The big man comes to life with the first lick of leather, howling in pain as Flair whips him over and over! Giant hurriedly lumbers his way over the top rope and to the outside, rubbing his reddened chest and arms reddened uncomfortably — and begins heading up the ramp, an angry expression on his face. “Giant can give punishment with the strap, but he can’t take it, it seems,” Mike Tenay exclaims. “It might just be the equaliser Ric Flair needs on Sunday!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<p>The Giant - <em>This train isn't stopping anytime soon.</em></p><p>

Sean O'Haire - <em>O'Haire will eventually stop that aforementioned train.</em></p><p>

Kidman/Air Raid - <em>Time to give them the push.</em></p><p>

Team Canada - <em>I love a good title rename storyline, so keep the belts where they are in order to prolong the gimmick.</em></p><p>

Daniels - <em>As long as this is the Necronomicon from the original Evil Dead, they can't lose. If it's the one from the 2013 remake, then it could eventually be a POS.</em></p><p>

Booker and Smiley - <em>Booker is still just under title contention, so he picks up a nice PPV win.</em></p><p>

Steve Corino - <em>I can't see any of the others really pulling this off. Time for "The King of Old School" to get his crown!</em></p><p>

Hurricane Helms - <em>I don't think Shannon will be ready to do much dancing like Evan was.</em></p><p> </p><p>

MOTN: Giant/Flair</p><p>

WOTN: Daniels/Dragon</p><p>

Daniels vs. Yang</p><p>

Fall will occur at a gay nightclub.</p>

The package is set to a high-tempo 70s punk-style lick reminiscent of an instrumental version of the Sex Pistols’ ‘God Save the Queen’. A young raspy narrator with a bad London accent states: "This is unsanctioned, this is unauthorised, bruv. This is unbelievable, this is Uncensored. It’s about no rules,” he sneers as we see Sean O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo brawling through the crowd. “It’s about no limits,” he adds as we see AJ Styles crashing down off a ladder through the commentary table. “It’s about no mercy,” he jeers as Giant whips Ric Flair with his own leather belt, then Flair returns the favour with the black leather strap. “Tonight, it’s about no way out — it’s Uncensored. God save WCW.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The two exchange arm-drags and hurricanranas before progressing to heavier hitting offence. Helms tries for the Eye of the Storm, but Vicious wriggles free and drops him with a famouser that almost gets three. The Prince of Punk measures his opponent and climbs to the top, coming off the turnbuckle with a huge corkscrew senton bomb! Hurricane gets the knees up and Vicious is knocked out cold as his face collides clumsily with the side of Helms’ knee. The match falls apart for a moment as the referee checks on Vicious, but Hurricane decides to just roll on top and take the win. “That’s twice that Hurricane Helms has retained by scouting his opponents’ high-risk manoeuvres,” Mike Tenay notes. “And that’s why you’ll never see me doing one of those twisty-turny dives from the top,” Heenan jokes in response.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The four pair off early, with Steve Corino going after his former partner Crowbar, and the Real D’Lo hammering on Perry Saturn with lefts and rights. The action spills outside, and Saturn whips D’Lo hard against the guard-rail, causing him to groan and clutch his mid-section. “There are no count-outs in this bout,” Mike Tenay reminds us, “and we will continue until we have a new United States Champion.” Corino is pelting Crowbar with hard forearms whenever Daffney jumps on his back and shrieks, trying to scratch out his eyes with her fingernails! “And no disqualifications either,” Bobby Heenan adds. Crowbar and Daffney continue double-teaming Corino on the outside while Saturn tosses D’Lo into the ring and begins tossing him around with T-bone suplexes. Saturn sinks in the Rings of Saturn, and Crowbar is so engrossed on getting retribution on Corino that he doesn’t notice until it’s too late. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Booker T starts with Mike Sanders, but Norman Smiley begs to be tagged in and goes face to face with the bully. Sanders shoves the undernourished Englishman before throwing a cheap shot, but Smiley ducks behind and takes Sanders down in the Crossface Chickenwing! Sanders starts to go limp, but the match is saved by Mark Jindrak hitting the ring and breaking the hold with powerful stomps — until Booker T makes the save and sends Jindrak to the outside with a huge clothesline! Sanders revives and cuts Smiley off with a thumb to the eye, then begins working him over with scrappy punches and mean-looking headlocks. He tags out to Jindrak, who begins crushing the underdog with scoop slams and an avalanche in the corner. Jindrak gloats by yelling “who’s the man?” at the crowd, before toying with Smiley and kicking him around.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Booker T pounds the turnbuckle and the fans clap in rhythm, trying to will Smiley to make the tag — but Jindrak instead hits a spinebuster, covering him with all his weight. Smiley just about escapes, though Mike Tenay notes that “finding the energy to kick out with a 270lb man on top of you will sap your strength faster than just about any offensive manoeuvre.” Jindrak tags out to Sanders, who sets Smiley up for the 3.0, an inverted headlock backbreaker — but Smiley lets the momentum carry him through and lands on his feet! He leaps to Booker T and makes the hot tag as the crowd erupt! Booker runs wild with clotheslines and crescent kicks on both men, before giving Jindrak a huge Book End and polishing Sanders off with the Harlem Hangover from the top. Booker is about to hook the leg when an exhausted Smiley begs for the tag, and so Booker smirks and obliges. Smiley gets in a victory lap, does the Big Wiggle, then hits a Smiley Slam on the prone Sanders to score the victory!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The geisha begin to dance in a slow, exotic yet disciplined manner. One of them kneels down in a supplicatory gesture, before a second one follows — as the final geisha stands tall. The Jung Dragons’ music plays, and out comes Kaz Hayashi! “What the heck was that supposed to be, Tenay?” Bobby Heenan inquires. “The geisha are traditional Japanese entertainers,” Mike Tenay explains, “and I believe we just saw an interpretive dance.” Bobby Heenan snorts, replying: “Or that’s how you interpret it.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Kaz Hayashi brings the fight to the Cruiserweight Champion early, dazzling him with a succession of stiff kicks. Daniels rolls to the outside to escape but instead falls victim to a spectacular topé suicida! Kaz throws Daniels back in and hits the Hayashi Cutter, but the wily champion manages to get a foot on the ropes. He presses the advantage and sinks in a reverse figure-four leglock that has Daniels screaming in agony. “He calls that the Crunch Loop,” Mike Tenay exclaims. “Sounds like somebody mixed his Cap’n Crunch and Froot Loops,” Heenan snarks. “What kind of man would do that anyway? A cereal killer, maybe.” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Daniels struggles to the ropes and forces the break, and when Hayashi tries to pull the Fallen Angel from the ropes, he gets a jawbreaker for his troubles. Daniels hits a series of brutal suplexes and throws, before signalling for the Angel’s Wings. Hayashi manages to break the underhook and sets up for another Hayashi Cutter, when James Mitchell clambers to the apron to distract Nick Patrick. Daniels hits a blatant low blow between Hayashi’s legs and nails him with the Angel’s Wings for the retention. “For all the talk of prophecy and sacrifice, Daniels needs to stoop to dirty tricks to keep the Cruiserweight Championship,” a disgusted Tenay proclaims.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The champions do not have to be pinned to lose their championships. Lance Storm squares off with Lash LeRoux at first, wearing him down with crisp matwork. LeRoux muscles out and backs Storm into the Dynasty’s corner, and Shawn Stasiak blind-tags Storm and blindsides Lash! Stasiak and Orton make a series of quick tags, the fresh young grapplers taking turns to punish LeRoux with hard knees to the back and whirling powerslams. Hugh Morrus begins barking encouragement at Lash, as DDP and Kanyon look apprehensive in their corner. “Remember, DDP and Kanyon lost a similar match two weeks ago without even tagging in! They cannot afford to let that happen again,” Tenay exclaims.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Orton hits the Overdrive on LeRoux, and Storm breaks it up to save Team Canada’s championships! Stasiak and Awesome hit the ring and get into a shoving contest, and soon Morrus, DDP and Kanyon are involved too! Referee Charles Robinson struggles to restore order, though a process of attrition clears the ring as the heavy-hitters Awesome and Morrus stand tall. Yet LeRoux and Orton remain legal, and Kanyon manages to blind-tag Lash and begin rocking Randy with short-arm clotheslines and gutwrench suplexes. He tags out to DDP, who continues the beating with a discus clothesline and sit-out powerbomb, before setting up for the Diamond Cutter. Storm hits the ring and gets tossed out by Page, as Kanyon begins brawling with Morrus. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Air Raid and Kidman dazzle with a series of spectacular dropkicks and dives at first, but the Radicalz soon take over. With ladders remaining outside, the champions instead work a technical bout with headlocks and submissions to wear down the challengers. “The Radicalz have a strange strategy here, they’re almost ignoring that this is a ladder match,” Mike Tenay remarks. “You can’t out-fly Air Raid and Kidman, but they can out-wrestle them,” Heenan shrugs. “And when all is said and done, they can’t climb the ladder after you break their legs.” Malenko hooks the Texas Cloverleaf on Billy Kidman, who reaches the ropes — but Malenko cranks the hold in deeper! “No rope-breaks, no disqualifications,” Tenay adds.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Air Raid turn the tables on Los Guerreros, pelting them with a flurry of furious forearms before heading outside to retrieve a ladder. They drive the steel into Chavo Guerrero before laying him atop the ladder — and Air Paris heads to the top and hits a diving leg drop onto both! He screams in agony, holding his tailbone in both hands, but the manoeuvre has done more damage to Chavo, who has gone motionless. Kidman recovers and grabs a ladder of his own, setting it up against the turnbuckle and aiming to whip Eddy Guerrero hard into it — but Latino Heat reverses the momentum and sends Kidman spine first into the rungs and rolling to the outside. “Malenko had Kidman in the Texas Cloverleaf for a long time,” Tenay hollers, “and Eddy Guerrero just salted that wound!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Eddy and Malenko give Styles a double-team suplex before deciding to bring their own ladders into play. Guerrero sets the ladder up under Styles’ throat and begins to climb, as Malenko plays defence — but Paris springboards out of nowhere and knocks the ladder down with a missile dropkick, causing Eddy to fall and crotch himself on the top rope! Malenko is left alone with Air Raid, who deliver a brainbuster/roundhouse kick combination and set the ladder up. Styles and Paris both climb, but a groggy Malenko is close behind and yanks Paris off, who faceplants hard on the mat. Malenko and Styles exchange shots atop the ladder before Styles drives the Ice Man’s skull into the steel, and he topples backwards and takes a flat back bump. Styles is left all alone on the ladder and unhooks the championship belts to score the victory for his team!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kidman is holding his back and hobbling like an old man, and Paris is bleeding from the forehead, but that doesn’t seem to matter for now. The three begin to limp to the back with huge smiles on their faces as Dean Malenko revives in the ring and looks around. Eddy Guerrero is still on the outside holding his groin, and Chavo is on the other side of the ring motionless. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Sean O’Haire’s music hits and he comes running down the aisle at full-tilt, and Palumbo rolls out of the ring to meet him! The two brawl back and forth at ringside, until O’Haire plants Chucky with a spinebuster and goes for an early cover — which Rico breaks up! O’Haire is not happy, and throttles Constantino around the throat before whipping him hard into the timekeeper’s area, causing the ring announcer and timekeeper to scatter. He follows up with a huge football tackle against the guard-rail, forcing the life out of Rico and causing him to double-over in the foetal position. O’Haire grabs the ring bell and turns around, but Palumbo catches him with a cheap shot and repossesses the bell for his own sinister intentions. Palumbo drives the metal of the ring-bell hard against O’Haire’s skull, causing him to gush blood from the forehead. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Chucky tries for a cover on the outside, but O’Haire powers out and begins shaking violently at the sight of his own blood. A look of fear dawns over Palumbo, who leaps the guard-rail and begins fleeing — but the enraged Widowmaker is hot in pursuit! The two brawl through the crowd as the nearby fans yell and try to get close to the action, before they both barrel through a curtain and end up in the backstage area. O’Haire whips Palumbo into a catering table before driving his head into the food and drink, and Chucky is covered in cold cuts, condiments and fruit punch! Palumbo wipes a thick white substance from his eyes, moaning “I hate mayonnaise” — and O’Haire answers with another stiff right. O’Haire drags Palumbo deeper into the backstage area, slamming his head against walls, doorways and anything else in his way. Palumbo is half-conscious and covered in a mixture of sauce, meat and what appears to be his own blood. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

O’Haire looks over his shoulder as he hears a clop-clop-clopping from behind, and stares down a distressed Torrie Wilson who is hurrying along in her high-heels. “Don’t hurt my Chucky, please,” she begs O’Haire, who smirks and gives Palumbo a spinebuster on the hard floor. “Too late, Torrie,” O’Haire snorts as he covers Palumbo — but Torrie shrieks and jumps on top of him, breaking the count. O’Haire tussles back and forth with Torrie, quickly restraining her on the ground with her hands held behind her back and his hips pressed against her rear in what appears to be a very unfortunate position. “-Don’t- make me hurt you,” he warns her — before eating a superkick from a dazed Chucky! Chuck half-falls on top of O’Haire, who powers out again at two, and we get a close-up of Palumbo’s shocked and despondent bloodied, food-covered face. He simply turns and flees again, shambling down the corridor as Torrie sits there rubbing her wrists and whimpering. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

O’Haire gives chase again, and soon finds himself in gorilla position as Chuck emerges out of the curtain and onto the entrance ramp. O’Haire catches up to Palumbo on the entrance-ramp and gives him a huge headbutt, before peering at the half-dozen full-length mirrors and grinning crazily. He whips Palumbo hard against one of the mirrors, which topples but doesn’t break — but then he picks Chucky up by the bleach-blond locks and drives him head-first through another, smashing the glass! The crowd chant “Holy Shit” as even more blood trickles down Chucky’s face, as he’s left knelt against the shattered mirror. O’Haire lays a third mirror on the ground and hoists Palumbo onto his shoulders, before hitting a reverse Death Valley Driver through the pane of glass! The crowd gasp in shock, and O’Haire hooks the leg to clinch a brutal victory.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

His own face is streaked with blood and he nods to the crowd with a wild grin, before his eyes snap onto Rico Constantino, who is crawling on the floor around ringside. O’Haire strides over and picks Rico up by the scruff of his turtleneck, as the personal stylist begs for mercy. His pleas fall on deaf ears, as O’Haire whips him hard into a fourth mirror, before leaving the scene of devastation behind. “Sean O’Haire got even tonight,” Mike Tenay states with a serious voice, as paramedics begin attending to Chuck Palumbo. “And I’m sure it was as satisfying for him as it was difficult to watch for all of us.” Heenan just sounds shocked, muttering that “he’s a psychopath.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Woooo!” We cut to the Giant striding through the corridors elsewhere backstage, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship looking tiny draped over his shoulder. The camera pans downwards and we see Torrie Wilson sobbing in a ball against the wall. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> We see ring crew bringing a thick six-foot black leather strap to the ring as Mike Tenay explains the rules of the upcoming contest. “The Giant and Ric Flair will be each bound by the wrist to this strap, keeping them close together. They can use the strap as a weapon in any way, and there are no disqualifications or count-outs. To win, you must incapacitate your opponent and drag him around the ring, touching all four corners in order and without stopping.” Bobby Heenan balks, stating: “That Giant is seven foot tall and five hundred pounds. Even if you knock him out, how are you going to drag him around a twenty by twenty foot ring?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Report:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Flair and Giant stare across the ring at each other as Charles Robinson secures the strap around the wrist of each man. They pace back and forth before locking up, with Giant challenging Flair to tests of strength and outmuscling him with a malevolent toothy grin on his face. Flair breaks free and begins using his agility to sidestep Giant — but Giant simply steps midway on the strap to cut his wiggle room and grabs Flair around the throat before chokeslamming him hard! Giant eyes the turnbuckles in turn but elects to deal punishment to Flair first, balling the strap around his fist and whipping it hard against the side of Flair! Naitch writhes back and forth as he screams in pain, his ribs and chest reddening under the assault as Giant sends the strap down eight to ten times.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Flair is sucking wind and groaning as Giant leans in to try and choke him with the strap, but he somehow weaves beneath his legs, entangling Giant in the strap and causing him to slowly fall to the ground like a fallen tree! The strap is caught around Giant’s ankles, binding them together, and Flair makes him pay with a series of hard shots right to the skull that cut his forehead open. Flair viciously continues the assault before Giant gets a hand around his throat and the two both fall to the canvas, punching and thrusting desperately in a heap. Giant ends up on top and tries to untangle his legs, but Flair instead kicks him hard in the groin and squirms his way out.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As Giant favours his crotch on the ground, Flair rises up to his feet woozily, bleeding a little himself. He reaches one corner then another, but he’s too far away from the third and can’t drag Giant’s frame. He yanks on the strap hard like some game of tug of war, until Giant recovers long enough to get two hands around the strap and begin pulling it towards him, reeling him in like a fish on a hook. Flair shakes his head back and forth desperately and tries to hold his ground, but he’s sucked into Giant’s arms and beaten bloodier with his huge ham-hock hands. Giant slugs into Flair over and over, before choking him with the strap until he goes limp.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Giant sits up calmly and begins slowly disentangling the leather strap from his legs. Flair lays motionless beside him, his face a crimson mask and his bleached blond hair a shock of red. Giant strides over and touches one corner, then a second, then a third… until Flair’s body springs to life and he begins yanking hard on the strap with all of his strength, screaming and crying through the blood: “NO! NO! NO-NO-NO!” Giant is actually jerked back from the fourth corner by the sudden wrench from Flair, and shoots him a murderous look. He strides over and goozles him on the ground before lifting him high and delivering a second chokeslam, putting the Nature Boy out of his misery. He drags the bloody carcass behind him as he slaps all four turnbuckles to win the match.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Description:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The referee sets to releasing both men from the leather strap as the bell rings. Giant has lost a fair share of blood, and slumps back against the corner with a light-headed expression as Charles Robinson presses the championship into his arms. He gazes down at the lifeless Flair with a dim hint of recognition, then slowly walks his way to the back with a faraway look in his eyes. Flair is on the mat covered in his own blood, and Robinson sits him up and begins talking to him with concern. Arn Anderson and medical staff make their way to the ring, and as they begin setting up a stretcher for the Nature Boy, Mike Tenay signs off: “I’ve commentated on hundreds of WCW events, but none quite like this one. We promised Uncensored action… and I’m afraid we delivered. Good night, ladies and gentlemen.” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

News and Notes: Week 1, April 2002:

  • The Hurricane Helms/Kid Vicious bout on Uncensored was brought to a clumsy end after Vicious landed head-first against Helms’ knee and momentarily lost consciousness. Kid Vicious, formerly known as Shannon Moore, is not thought to be hurt, but is undergoing concussion testing and will be kept out of the ring on next week’s television.

  • In other Uncensored news, we’re hearing that the lack of huge spots in the ladder match was the work of Dean Malenko. In storyline and in real life, Malenko is said to be reluctant about the risks of such a gruelling match-up, and to proceed with the advertised match, management were forced to provide assurances that the risk factor would be toned down. Air Raid were said to be unhappy at being unable to truly steal the show, but the match was still very good and represents their biggest moment in the limelight to date.

  • The next OVW developmental talent to be called up to the main WCW roster is Brock Lesnar, the incredibly-gifted NCAA winning amateur-wrestler. Lesnar is expected to learn the ropes in dark matches in the next few weeks, as management are keen to hold off any official debut for some time — questions still remain as to Lesnar’s safety.

  • The faction of Chuck Palumbo, Torrie Wilson and Rico Constantino has been dubbed ‘the Beautiful People’, in an apparent reference to the Marilyn Monroe song. Is it possible that they will license the track as entrance music?

  • The next edition of Saturday Night will be a Night of Champions, featuring five championships on the line and a main-event to determine the No. 1 Contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Booker T, Sean O’Haire and Norman Smiley, who all won featured non-title bouts at Uncensored, will square off in a three-way dance.

  • In one of the stranger news items we’ve received, Shane McMahon was spotted leaving a New York restaurant with Mae Young. The two were said to exchange a romantic kiss before departing in a limousine for McMahon’s New York penthouse. Shane-O-Mac has been offscreen since Halloween Havoc selling a beating from the Giant, which caused him to leave the arena on a stretcher.

Next time on Saturday Night, it's a Night of Champions with every match having a title on the line -- save for the main event, which will decide the Giant's challenger at Spring Stampede!

No. 1 Contender for WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Booker T vs Sean O’Haire vs Norman Smiley

Comments: I was going to select Smiley based on a crazy hunch, but O'Haire seems like the logical next one in line.

Caused by the head trauma?
