Does workers walking out of companies only occur in regional companies?

Recommended Posts

I have seen walkout incidents almost every month in small companies, but never seen a big star quit from AI controlled SWF,TCW etc. Does it only happen in regional levels? If that's the case, I'd like to see this kind of backstage drama in AI national companies. They seem to be relatively peaceful backstages.

It happens more in smaller companies -- but it can happen in bigger companies. For instance, I'm a Cult sized company (so I can offer written deals). I brought in the Nation of Filth (an A* tag team with good popularity) on a short term written deal to develop some of my younger babyface tag teams. They did like two jobs and Grunt demanded to be released. I told him no, and he sat out until his contract was up. So things like that can happen on bigger levels. The written deals that larger companies make it less likely that someone will just walk out and I think they'll sit out. At least, in my experiences.

Cult and higher promotions tend to sign their workers to written contracts. Written contracts can have something called a 'non-compete clause'. It comes standard on written contracts (which means if you want to offer a deal without it, you have to manually change it in the contract offer). This means that workers CANNOT walk out. The only thing they can do is go home and stay home. They can't wrestle (or work) anywhere else until the contract expires.

That's probably why you don't see that.
