Royal Rumble/Battle Royal winners, losers and Entrants

Recommended Posts

Hi there so I've got a PPV coming up where I want to do a royal rumble type match.

My question is when setting up the match can you determine who enters when? And also can you determine who the last couple of competitors are so you have a winner and the last loser?

Many thanks

You select your winner and a worker for the final elimination note, then you select 2 workers with the finalist note. As stated above, you cannot choose who enters when (you'll have to use your imagination). But there are the following notes for Battle Royals: Winner, Runner-Up, Final Four, Most Eliminations and Iron Man (which is for whoever you want to be in there the longest).

Unless you were doing a thirty man battle royal with only top 50 ranked wrestlers, 'Spectacle' would not work even though you may think it's appropriate.

From my understanding, a 'Spectacle' would be something like the Wrestlemania 20 triple threat. Two (or in this case, three) extremely talented, over stars putting on an amazing story-driven match, but without going into the territory of 'Epic' (which is where Rock vs Austin or Taker vs HHH HIAC belong). The Royal Rumble, in my opinion, is never this. It has it's spectacle moments, sure...but then it also has it's comedy spots, it's 'Monster of the year' elimination-fest and the common rest-hold portions so the 'iron-men' get a break. Rumble is story-driven, all the way.
