THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN THE UNDERGROUND ALTERNATIVE! TOO HOT OUT! ALLEN IN!

TORONTO -- Ontario based independent wrestling promotion Canadian Charisma Championship Combat (better known as 4C) has announced some big changes behind the scenes that should have prompt ramifications in and out the ring.

Jason “Too Hot” Evans will be stepping down from his role as 4C’s head of creative effective immediately. Evans has been the man with the book in 4C since 2009 when the former 4C star Joey Poison left the company to sign a deal with the British Columbia based wrestling company Canadian Golden Combat. It is not expected that Evans will be leaving the company any time soon. Rather, this change was brought on so that Evans could spend more time focusing on his duties as head trainer at 4C’s Combat Academy dojo. Evans is known to be a big proponent of the Combat Academy. Currently this can be seen by the employment of nine Combat Academy alumni on the current 4C roster, most of whom were brought into the dojo under his watch. This group includes wrestlers such as their first graduate and longtime 4C presence Chris Flynn and current 4C Tag Team champions Morgan Malone and Hudson Drake.

In place of Evans, 4C President Troy Winner has named former Total Championship Wrestling (TCW) star and veteran high flyer Harry Allen. To the surprise of many, Allen’s name was amongst a group of workers who were cut from TCW following Tommy Cornell’s sale of TCW to BriCo last year, thus ending a seventeen year run in the company for him. Allen is best known for his presence in TCW’s old cruiserweight division, where he was the Cruiserweight Champion two times and a Cruiserweight tag team champion four times with Steve (Ford) Gumble. Even after the dissolution of the cruiserweight division in 2005, Allen remained relevant as a three time holder of the TCW All Action title, the heir to the TCW Cruiserweight title. With the All Action title also being retired in 2014, Allen began to meander to TCW’s lower midcard and opening acts. Though there was not much utilization of him from 2014 until the time he left, he remained a popular presence in TCW. It was assumed by some that he might be picked up by the nouveau riche and rapidly expanding United States Pro Wrestling, but they never publicly showed any interest. Since his TCW exit, Allen has not even surfaced at any unaffiliated independent shows.

So what is the real story behind Allen’s sudden arrival at the “Underground Alternative” in Ontario? Few details have surfaced so far, but it is expected that Allen will be working as soon as this month at 4C’s Cage Rage show at the Varsity Arena. Details should definitely be forthcoming by then. From what little is known, Allen is expected to make an announcement about his plans for 4C there.

When we last left off...

Results from December 2015's 4C Presents...Do or Die

Jason Thunder defeated Preston Fuller with the Thunderstruck in the opening match.

Not much to say about this. The veteran tag specialist easily dismantled the kid from Lithuania.

Zak Attack revealed Hugh de Aske as his mystery partner, and they defeated Mosher and Shiva, after de Aske hit the Skull & Crossbones on Shiva

Zak Attack has been trying hard to break into a title scene in 4C, but with one failed muti-person title shot in early 2015 being as close as he’s come. It looks like he’s now aiming for the tag titles. Getting Hugh de Aske to be his partner was a big achievement for him, but now stories are already leaking out of Hugh de Aske calling Zak his “first mate” and demanding he live the pirate’s life, whatever that means. Hopefully Zak can keep up.

Nathaniel Ca$ino pinned Jesse Gilbert in a three way dance that also included Joe Gilbert to defend the 4C Hardcore title.

Nathaniel found himself in the middle of the Gilbert’s blood feud last fall, but managed to exploit their rivalry to his advantage when he defeated Joe Gilbert for the Hardcore title last November, after some interference from Jesse Gilbert. This time, he capitalized on Joe being more invested in revenge than the belt. Ca$ino gambled and kept his distance staying at ground level bantering with the announcers while the Gilberts brawled on a balcony. This worked out well for Ca$ino when Jesse was thrown off a balcony into a table, leaving the downed Gilbert easily pinned.

Eric Blackley defeated Lightning Lomas by pinfall with the Flying Vertical Splash.

An even matchup that saw Blackley come out on top. Blackley’s speedos and that finisher of his are an uncomfortable vision no matter how often it’s witnessed.

Malone & Drake defeated Bailey & McKane when Drake pinned Bailey after TJ Bailey was pepper sprayed by Isabella Encanta to retain the 4C Tag Team titles

Bailey & McKane looked to be gelling well as team, but Hudson Drake’s manager thwarted any title aspirations.

Chris Flynn defeated Leftie Wilkes by DQ after Leftie attacked referee Andy Gordy.

Leftie has been more and more temperamental these days. I guess Andy wasn’t counting fast enough for him.

Sayeed Ali defeated Too Hot by pinfall with the G.B.H. Driver.

The battle between two veterans that have fought many times over the years saw Sayeed Ali inflict some grievous bodily harm on Too Hot. Ali promised afterward that the winner of Dee and Rajah will be the next one to experience what Too Hot just got.

Frankie Dee defeated Rajah by pinfall with the Shinanju kick to retain the 4C Championship, and earn a shot at the COTT World title.

Frankie retains in a hard fought rematch, but importantly also earns his first shot at the COTT World title currently held by OLLIE's Nicolas Lopez.

Oh, and living up to his word, Ali took out a celebrating Dee, but not long after was gifted a VIP Pass from the rising Rajah as the show ended with the rapper on top.

Just a recap of what came before. Hopefully this provides some context into the events of the upcoming Cage Rage show. I probably should have posted this before the card for Cage Rage was up. Oh well, this was a one time thing.

In other news, the goals for 4C that Troy Winner made and gave to Harry Allen when he was hired have been leaked. Apparently, the promotion's popularity is very important to Troy. Not only does he want 4C to at least have as much popularity in Canada as it does now, but he also wants 4C to gain popularity in Canada. Sounds like the second goals supersedes the first, but hey, that's what he wants. Perhaps related to that, he also wants workers with decent industry reputations to be in the company.

Winner also wants all 4C workers to have a decent amount of charisma. Well... it is in the promotion's name.

Finally, Winner wants safe workers that can handle the fast paced and physically demanding 4C style without hurting anybody.

A sold out crowd of 2,000 is in attendance, and the 4C commentary team of Terry Smith and Ted Ross are out to call the matches.

The show kicks off to the sound of a generic instrumental version of the old country tune “Ghost Riders in the Sky.” It’s not quite the version fans are familiar with, but the internet savvy 4C audience sees past the in house music production quality and is well aware of what this means. Yells, screams, and whistles whip around the Varsity Arena as the tune builds up. Then, out he comes… the former TCW cruiserweight icon Harry Allen… right here, in 4C!

Allen introduces himself with a simple “Howdy, Toronto.” This prompts a roar from the crowd, but Allen starts pushing down trying to calm them down. Allen tells everybody that there will be plenty of time for cheering later. Allen introduces himself to the fans as if they were not already aware, and he goes on to say how excited he is to be here. He says he’s had some glory days in that company he was in previously, but he’s not ready to ride off into the sunset just yet. While he doesn’t have anything planned for tonight, Allen says there’s a lot of great competition that he’d be excited to get in the ring with here. Allen drops names of some of the workers he’d be thrilled to work with: Frankie Dee, Rajah, Sayeed Ali, Too Hot, and Chris Flynn. One name that was not mentioned though was…

Leftie Wilkes. The left handed Bostonian is standing at the entrance, and he interrupts Allen by dropping his own name. He walks to the ring and gets in. Allen even holds the ropes open for him to welcome him, but Wilkes doesn't seem like he wants to play nice. Leftie paces in front of the Cowboy, and Allen bring him to a stop by greeting him with “Howdy. I don’t believe we’ve met. My name’s Harry.” Wilkes is immediately offended when Allen extends his right hand to shake with Leftie, and this leads to some “ooohs” from the crowd. Wilkes smacks away Harry’s hand, and in a whiney tone, he starts to question what the hell Allen is doing here and accuses the debuting Allen of trying to overshadow him. He rants about how big shot Tommy Cornell wasn’t there to save him from what should have happened a long time, Allen being kicked to the curb. Leftie says Allen is washed up, and he doesn’t deserve any respect from these idiots in Toronto. Allen just smiles back and shakes his head at Wilkes. Harry says he doesn't want to argue and that he wants to wrestle, and that he’ll oblige any challenge if Wilkes wants to have a match tonight. Leftie agrees and the match is set for later.

The young Lithuanian dominates the early minutes of the match, but he’s inevitably no match for “The Jock.” The match eventually ends after a tornado DDT by Fuller is countered when Flynn locks his legs around the post and pushes Fuller off. A few suplexes later, the Flynn-Lock follows and it’s all over.

A segment is shown where Nathaniel Ca$ino is seen walking around backstage and bumping into Jason Thunder and Lightning Lomas. Ca$ino starts bragging about all the money he won betting on the Canadiens at the Winter Classic earlier this month. Thunder & Lightning don’t sound at all interested. This prompts Ca$ino to tell Thunder & Lightning that he also bet that they can’t beat TJ Bailey and Clutch McKane tonight. When they don’t take him seriously, Nathaniel taunts them about being five time champs and that they’re heavily favored which means big money for him. Ca$ino laughs and walks off, while Thunder & Lightning can only shake their heads.

Part of the story of this match is Hugh de Aske looking better than all the Combat Academy vets in the ring, while his partner not so good. Zak Attack is looking very tired tonight, and not being his usual energetic self. Not that his cardio or stamina is off, but he’s looking a little sleep deprived. Drake and Malone take advantage of this aloofness and work him over in the corner. He seems to wake up after this, but some dirty tactics by illegal man Malone leave Attack vulnerable to the Hudson Hawk, and the champions retain. Afterward, Attack is seen apologizing to de Aske. “The Dread Pirate” quickly forgives his partner with an arm over his shoulder and a hearty shake.

Terry Smith and Ted Ross are surprised to be joined on commentary by Nathaniel Ca$ino. Ca$ino says he did such a great job on commentary while also beating up the Gilberts last month that it would be unfair to the 4C fans to deny them more. Terry and Ted don’t seem thrilled about having his company, but they don’t stop him.

There’s a lot of banter and trash talk from Mosher in the ring. He manages to keep up with the veteran Too Hot, but a missed Head Banger finisher leaves him prone to Too Hot hitting his own finisher from the top.

Leftie puts up a fight and gets several near falls on Allen, but can never quite put him away. The match ends with Allen catching Wilkes off a reversed slingshot into his Highbinder move (Gory Bomb). Allen rolls his opponent over and then unleashes his Flying Fist Drop upon Leftie to finish him off.

Harry Allen celebrates his victory by raising his arms in victory, but as he turns around in the ring he is met by a jumping knee strike from a man in a sweater vest.

Leftie Wilkes gets to his feet and the two men start to beat the crap out of Allen. The two men then high five left hand to left hand, giving the impression that they are in on this together the whole time.

Thunder and Lightning look very good and show off the same sort of teamwork that has made them five time 4C Tag Team Champions. The match comes to a strange conclusion when Clutch McKane dives outside of the ring on Jason Thunder. Clutch was the legal man on his team at the time, so Andy Gordy begins to count him out. Before Lightning Lomas can follow up with a move of his own, he becomes distracted by the guest commentator Nathaniel Ca$ino standing on the ring apron. Lomas starts jawing at him and telling him to get out of there, but Ca$ino surprises him with a huge right hook that knocks Lomas out! Ca$ino is then seen pocketing a pair of brass knuckles back into his blazer. Having seen all of this go down, TJ Bailey excitedly tags himself in as soon as possible and pins Lightning Lomas.

Nathaniel Ca$ino looks on with a huge grin as Bailey and McKane celebrate. It’s like he just hit the jackpot or something. Jason Thunder senses something is up and chases after Nathaniel Ca$ino, but Ca$ino has a good head start and escapes out the door.

Rajah comes out for his match before Sayeed Ali. He has a rap laced with trash talk directed at Sayeed Ali and Frankie Dee. The fans eat it up until Rajah ends the rap with an insult directed at them, and cheers immediately turn to boos.

Just like about every other Sayeed Ali match, he turns a wrestling match into a street fight. Andy Gordy has his work cut out for him keeping this thing under control. The match goes back and forth for a while and winds up outside of the ring for a lot of this. Sayeed Ali looks ready to not just finish Rajah, but hospitalize him as well. Ali hits his usual gut kick set up on Rajah and pulls him up for the G.B.H. Driver, but Rajah counters with a low blow. He quickly grabs Ali and tosses him into the nearby ringside steps and dashes into the ring. Andy Gordy is already deep into his count by then. Ali tries to beat the count, but is met with a baseball slide kick from Rajah. Sayeed Ali can’t beat the count and Rajah earns the title shot against Frankie Dee. Rajah does a celebration dance, but it only lasts a couple of seconds, because he sees a rising Sayeed Ali coming to his feet. Rajah takes off backstage because he doesn’t like the look Ali is giving him.

The Gilberts go through a lot of hockey sticks in this match. Joe Gilbert is relentless in this match, showing his twin brother little mercy. There are no penalties for clipping, high-sticking, hooking, slashing, and spearing in this match, and the Gilberts exhaust about every hockey stick related penalty possible. Joe Gilbert seems to have his brother right where he wants him, when he trades up his wooden stick for a graphite stick. The finish comes when Jesse is fighting off his advancing brother with a hockey stick while lying on his back. He was rolling around and using his stick to protect himself as Joe is chopping down at him. In the midst of this, he slew foots (tripped with legs) his brother down beside him. Jesse rolls over and places the hockey stick over Joe’s neck, sits on his back and pulls. Joe taps out before irreparable harm can be done to him.

The 4C faithful are well aware that Frankie Dee has both Rajah and Sayeed Ali gunning for him. Fortunately for Frankie, this match being in a cage helps him to concentrate on the night’s objective: win the COTT World Heavyweight Title. The COTT board are also probably delighted to know this will be a clean match with no shenanigans involved. The crowd is thoroughly behind their man Frankie here. Nicolas works heel in this match, though usually a face in his home promotion. It is Frankie Dee who strikes first. The 4C champ stuns Lopez right off the bat with a kick to the side of his head. Lopez is shaken up, and Dee takes advantage of this. Dee peppers the World champ with strikes. Though feeling the effects of Frankie’s strikes early on, Lopez manages to shake it off eventually, showing a lot of spirit to prevent Frankie from escaping the cage. Lopez is able to get back in the fight, and the two champions trade blows through the match in a hard hitting affair. Lopez ups his rudo game with some dirty tactics to even things up including boot scrapes, hair pulls, and low blows mixed in with suplexes and slams. In fact, it is a blatant eye gouge that gives Lopez the opening to hit his Lopez Buster finishing move. Frankie fights valiantly to put away the OLLIE star throughout the match but Nicolas Lopez is a savvy vet, and there are good reasons while he's still the World Heavyweight Champion. He escapes the cage after hitting his finisher.

Harry Allen’s surprise assailant has been identified as a worker named Kenny Stuart. Kenny (real name Kenny Kuntz) is probably better known for being Stunning Stuart during a run in CGC about ten years ago where he teamed with current USPW star Trent Shaffer as The Varsity Boys. He’s been tearing it up in the Indies lately under the name K-Squared, so it’s no surprise that somebody finally picked him up.

Nicolas Lopez (!) is here for one night only and he went to Wrestler’s Court because he made big mess backstage. We don’t do that sort of thing here in 4C. Judge Ali sentenced him to buy all the 4C boys drinks after the show with his COTT champ money.

Frankie Dee was upset about taking the loss to Nicholas Lopez. He was given some money and sent on a two week vacation to calm him down.

Joe Gilbert changed his gimmick to Frustrated Hockey Player (think Happy Gilmore before he became a golfer. He never made it, and now he’s pissed). It’s about your average change, though an upgrade from his previously poor Hockey Fan gimmick. Jesse’s Hockey Fan gimmick is legendary by comparison.

Eric Blackley beat Robin Newman in a dark match. It turns out they have great chemistry.

4C has been thinking of starting a Hall of Fame someday. All their greatest workers are still active though.

January 2016 Wrestling News:

Heidi Brooks died at age 63. She used to be a big deal for Women’s wrestling in the seventies. RIP

Greg Gauge won the Rip Chord Invitational Tournament for the second year in a row after he beat Cheetah Boy in the final. There were no 4C representatives invited this year, but the Ring Generals from NYCW and El Hijo Espada Roja from OLLIE were invited.

USPW raided the Indies for talent. Amongst several others, the main champions from territory mates CZCW (Donnie J) and NYCW (Roger Cage) were both signed up. Another COTT star Masked Cougar was also taken from CZCW, earning his first shot in a major promotion. FCW champ Hell’s Bouncer was not signed, but he tore his meniscus so FCW loses him for at least a year, making FCW a third independent promotion with a change in champions. FYI, The Masked Mauler is the current Empire State champion after defeating Roger Cage before he went out the door. FCW and CZCW were not able to make the switch soon enough, so their top belts are vacant until February.

NOTBW star Owen Love broke his neck, and will be out for the rest of 2016 and more. Yikes!

Other comments:

Well, you can’t say this was predictable. For the record, all results were and will be simulated before lineups were/are out. It was interesting to see how heavily favored Thunder & Lightning were, which is good… because their loss tonight is considered an upset, which greatly pleased Nathaniel Ca$ino. A lot of people were sleeping on Rajah too over his fellow main eventer Sayeed Ali, but I can see how Ali would command respect. Some picked Frankie Dee over Nicolas Lopez, but it wasn’t quite time for a world champion in 4C yet. I mostly just wanted an early COTT presence in the diary to make it seem like a big deal. I’m contemplating a title shot every two months, rotating between the world and tag titles. That would make for three defenses in 4C a year for each title.

Ratings were not as great as I hoped, but it didn't hurt us and a lot of workers boosted their stats.

The Gilberts feud and the 4C title feud carried over from the default. I’m a big fan of playing to the Cornellverse’s lore.

Another sold out crowd of 2,000 is in attendance. The 4C commentary team of Terry Smith and Ted Ross are out to call the matches as usual. This time around, the show is starting with an opening match. The tag team specialist and former Hardcore champ Lightning Lomas is taking on the young martial artist Shiva.

Supposedly Shiva wants everybody to know that lightning isn’t the only thing that strikes. The ice cold martial artist Shiva tries to show this to everybody in attendance as he put his unique offense on display against the five time tag team champion, Lightning Lomas. He’s not performing badly, and in fact, this match is better than many expected. However, Lightning controls this match. The ending comes when a roundhouse kick is ducked by Lightning and he counters it with a sidewalk slam, followed by a dropkick, followed by his Exploder finisher.

Harry Allen comes out next to greet the fans in Quebec City. He’s not fluent in French, so he makes his introductions brief. He then immediately calls out “Leftie and Rightie” for their assault on him last month at Cage Rage, and tells them to come on out.

Leftie Wilkes and Kenny Stuart walk out. Fortunately, Stuart is fluent in French and does most of the talking, while Wilkes gets an occasional word in. As the two of them walk towards the ring, the man formerly known as K-Squared introduces himself as Kenny Stuart, and tells the fans to make sure they get that correct. He says his good friend Leftie told him all about how some washed up old big shot cowboy is here in 4C now. Kenny says that inevitably somebody is going to expose Harry as the has-been that he is. Leftie chirps in that that person is going to be him. Kenny corrects him that it will be the both of them, and they give each other a left hand to left hand high five. They then jump up on two different ring apron sides with Allen in the middle looking ready to defend himself if they try anything. Kenny mentions how they have a tag team match scheduled, but Harry still hasn’t found a partner. Leftie tells Harry that just like at Cage Rage, nobody can save him. The two men rush Harry Allen. Allen quickly catches Wilkes with a flying punch that sends him falling off the apron, but is then caught be a Kenny Stuart clothesline. Stuart lifts Allen back up, and Allen fights back with a series of punches. Stuart and Allen brawl until Leftie gets back in the ring, and Harry becomes outnumbered. Things look bleak for Harry, but then from out back…

here comes Too Hot! He rushes down to the ring! Dropkick on Wilkes! Dropkick on Stuart! The two of them roll out of the ring and help each other retreat to the back. Too Hot helps Harry Allen up. Then with a huge smile on his face, Too Hot yells that he’ll be seeing them later, confirming that he’s Allen’s partner tonight.

Hugh de Aske is ringside to support Zak Attack. Eric Blackley isn’t fazed by this one bit, and he takes every opportunity to taunt and flex toward the “Dread Pirate” as he dismantles Zak in the ring. Zak got a little bit of offense, but this match was just about all Eric Blackley. Blackley yells to de Aske to enjoy the show as he finishes the match with the Flying Vertical Splash.

After the match is over, Blackley goes over to help Zak Attack up. A dazed Attack gets to his knees. He makes it to his knees but then is immediately knocked back down by Eric Blackley with a groin to face Thesz Press style move that has Blackley knocking Zak back down. Hugh de Aske goes rushing into the ring to put a stop to this, while Blackley slides out of it having just cracked himself up.

Jason Thunder decides to enter alone without his partner. Thunder manages to keep his cool even though Ca$ino tries his best to unnerve him. This was an even back and forth match, with Ca$ino showing off high spots, while Thunder tries to slow him down. The finish came when a chair shot by Ca$ino misses, and Thunder hits a leaping sidekick that sends Ca$ino stumbling back into the corner and dropping the chair. Thunder goes for his Thunder Struck finisher (superkick), but Ca$ino twists out of the way and Thunder kicks the turnbuckle instead. Ca$ino hits a drop toe hold on Thunder while he’s on one leg, and Thunder falls with the back of his head hitting onto the chair. Ca$ino then hits the Double or Nothing for the win, retaining the Hardcore title.

It’s been announced that the winner of this match also earns a shot at the COTT World Tag Team Titles at Final Fight next month.

This match goes a lot like their match from December at Do or Die. Malone and Drake use all sorts of underhanded tactics to take advantages in this match. TJ Bailey is the workhorse on his team, but he spends most of the match betting beat up near the opposing corner while Malone and Drake stay fresh tagging in and out and using as many double team moves as possible. Eventually, Bailey catches Hudson Drake with an enziguri kick and is able to extend and get the hot tag to Clutch McKane. McKane cleans house and takes control. He eventually catches Drake with the Pedal to the Metal (curb stomp). It looks like it’s all over, but Drake is close enough to his corner where Morgan Malone can break the pin. Andy Gordy gets up and warns Malone. While the ref is distracted, Isabella Encanta is up around the corner. She’s got her pepper spray! She takes aim at Clutch McKane, and is about to spray… but wait! TJ Bailey comes diving out of nowhere to shove his partner out of the way. The pepper spray goes right into Hudson Drake’s face! He’s screaming at the top of his lungs. He wobbles around the ring while blinded, with his arms extended. He walks right into the double missile dropkick from Bailey & McKane! Clutch makes the pin, and it’s all over. New champs!

Bailey & McKane defeat Malone & Drake when McKane pins Drake after they hit the double missile dropkick to win the 4C Tag Team Championship.

TJ Bailey and Clutch McKane celebrate together outside the ring, raising the titles high in the air. This is the first ever 4C title for Clutch McKane, and they also earned a shot at the COTT tag titles next month, currently held by The Ring Generals of NYCW.

A wild brawl between the headbanger and the hockey player. Jesse Gilbert dominates the match, but as has been the story for almost a year now, Joe Gilbert is around the corner looking for his brother. At one point when the ref is yelling at Mosher for not keeping it clean, Joe sneaks into the ring. Joe kicks Jesse in the gut and grabs his him by his jersey, pulling it over his head. He leaves the ring and skulks to the back. Andy Gordy doesn’t see it, but Mosher does. He hits a flying forearm on Jesse. Jesse is down, and Mosher goes to the top rope. Head Banger! The ref counts, and that’s a huge win for Mosher.

Chris Flynn enters the ring accompanied by Katie Cameron. Sayeed Ali starts to come to the ring holding a baseball bat in one hand, and a table under his opposite arm. Chris Flynn does a double take and starts yelling at Sayeed Ali about what he’s doing with those things. Sayeed just ignores him, not even making eye contact as he sets the table up outside the ring. He then enters the ring, hitting the bat into the palm of his open hand. Flynn grabs a mic, then asks what he is doing because this isn’t a hardcore match. Sayeed snatches the microphone away, and says he’s not putting up with count outs and disqualifications anymore. He briefly references his match with Rajah at Cage Rage and how a count out cost him a 4C Championship match. He then says he’s here to win, and he’s going to do it by following nobody’s rules but his own. He then questions the manhood of “The Jock”. Sayeed then asks Katie why she would want to manage such a wimp, and mentions how her last client wouldn’t have backed down (referencing Jacob Jett, now of NOTBPW). This flusters Katie a bit too. Having grown increasingly annoyed by Sayeed’s taunts, Chris Flynn agrees to Sayeed’s rules.

What starts as a brawl in the ring carries on to the outside of the ring. Ali and Flynn battle it out, tossing each other into concrete outside and into the guard rails. Ali seems set on getting Flynn into his table. He bashes Flynn’s head into the table and gets Flynn up for a powerbomb, but Flynn reverses Ali’s powerbomb into a backdrop that sends Ali into the table instead. Flynn falls over next to him, and struggles to get up. He eventually crawls over and drapes an arm on Ali, but Ali manages to kick out. Flynn then picks up Sayeed and tosses him back into the ring. A German suplex gets another near fall. Flynn suplexes Ali again… and again! He signals to the crowd for the Flynn Lock. He grabs Ali’s leg and has it in. Ali reaches out his arm for the rope…. No! It’s for the baseball bat! He whacks Chris Flynn upside the head. Flynn releases the Flynn-lock. He looks out. Ali limps over on one foot and picks Flynn up. G.B.H. Driver! The three count follows, and Sayeed Ali wins.

Joe Gilbert is backstage eating a bag of popcorn. From out of nowhere Jesse Gilbert comes out charging into his brother and cross checks him with a hockey stick, and Joe crashes into a nearby popcorn machine. Joe pops right back up and a hockey fight breaks out. They’re pulling at each other’s jerseys while punching each other, and they have to be separated by officials.

Leftie Wilkes and Kenny Stuart dominate to start the match and do their best to isolate Allen in the corner as pummel him. Eventually he gets to tag out to Too Hot to bring control back to his team. Harry makes his way back in, and the finishing sequence comes when Harry Allen sends Stuart into the corner but Too Hot has to break up a sunset flip pin. Tag out to Too Hot for a chinlock to slow things down until Stuart rolls his way out with leg on the ropes so Andy Gordy breaks it up. Wilkes reaches in to get the hot tag and clean house, including clotheslining Allen to the floor. Wilkes drop toe holds Too Hot in the ring while Stuart misses a dive on Allen on the outside to knock himself silly. Too Hot nails Wilkes in the face with a springboard dropkick. Wilkes bounces back up, ducks a clothesline and plants a superkick in Too Hot’s face. Too Hot goes stumbling back, off the ropes and Wilkes catches him… and there’s the Boston Whiplash! Wilkes goes for the pin, but Allen makes the save. Wilkes goes charging at Allen in retaliation, but Allen pulls down the ropes. Wilkes falls over and hangs on to the ropes upside down trying hard to keep himself in the ring and not fall face first down outside. Too Hot crawls on his knees to make the tag out to Harry! Wilkes is able to get himself right-side up, and Harry Allen is now the legal man. Allen gets Wilkes with the leg scissors take down! Up top! Flying fist drop! 1…2…3! Harry Allen and Too Hot win!

Lockup to start, and Frankie Dee takes control of Rajah with some quick matwork. Frankie grabs a waistlock, but Rajah escapes and hits the ropes. Frankie catches him a dropkick! Rajah ducks to the outside for a breath, but Frankie Dee runs up the turnbuckle and hits Rajah with a huge splash. Frankie whips Rajah into the guardrail. Rajah ducks an incoming palm strike, and counters Frankie back into the guardrail. A clothesline sends Frankie into the crowd. Rajah then dives into the crowd with a splash onto Rajah! Rajah then grabs Frankie by the hair to pull him back out of there. The two brawl for a bit, and manage to beat Andy Gordy’s count.

Back into the ring, the two go back and forth for a while, with Rajah getting in most of the offense. Towards the end, an exchange of combos eventually results in a springboard spinning dropkick by Frankie. Another near fall, and Rajah is able to push Frankie into a corner. Frankie goes for a hurricanrana, and Rajah counters with a huge spinebuster that gets a two count. Frankie hits back with a reverse no look enziguri! A tornado DDT attempt by Frankie misses, and Rajah grazes Frankie with a superkick. Rajah goes for the VIP pass… Frankie moves, counter with the backbreaker, but Rajah kicks out! Frankie picks Rajah back up…a german suplex, followed by another! Rajah gets back up after Frankie, and Frankie hits a roundhouse to Rajah’s side, followed by a running neckbreaker. A two count results out of it. Frankie goes back off the ropes, but a forearm by Rajah sends Frankie falling back. Rajah hits a powerbomb! Instead of going for the pin, Rajah goes for a second one. Frankie shows heart by reversing and tying up Rajah with a sunset flip. Rajah pushes him off! Frankie bounces off the ropes… and Rajah goes for the VIP Pass! No! It’s reversed! Shinanju kick from Frankie! Rajah goes flailing backward to the ropes. He bounces back into… a second Shinanju kick! Frankie goes for pin and gets the three count. Frankie Dee retains his title in another hard fought battle!

Harry Allen gave him a stern warning and his personality got worse. A few announcers are about to get shortlisted. Jason Thunder went to wrestling court for refusing to join everybody on a night out. Judge Ali sentenced him to buy drinks for everybody after the show. Rajah has taken Zak Attack under his wing as his protégé. Kenny Stuart is improving at acting. Leftie Wilkes and Kenny Stuart have a strong friendship after some meddling. Bros! Flynn complained about hardcore matches not playing to his strengths. That just means we need to toughen him up. Yes. The Gilberts are still feuding, but next month is a show called Final Fight, so… you do the math. Shiva is considered one of 4C’s next big things, and he had a great match tonight with Lightning Lomas. So it’s pretty sad to say that this will be his last match in 4C for the foreseeable future. Troy Winner’s owner goal of only hiring workers having good charisma prevents 4C from resigning him. He’s not too far from boosting his charisma to acceptable levels and he’s been shortlisted for the future, but he’ll probably be out of the company for at least a year. Hopefully he can keep busy on Canadian independent shows. Zak Attack and Robin Newman are also in danger of not being resigned because of their low charisma. Their contracts don’t run out until the middle of 2017, but this particular owner’s goal is good for two years. 4C is committed to developing their youngsters, so the booker’s goal is so it’s a race for them to improve their charisma. Anyways, 4C will be looking to bring in a new worker at a similar level to replace Shiva. There was a youngster who just walked out on ACPW after getting into an argument with Face Nelson. He now holds both of the singles titles there. Steve Flash wins the NYCW Empire title from Masked Mauler in Mauler’s first defense of the belt.
