I didn’t plan on starting a sports entertainment style diary but looking at the roster these start with and the options you have going forward I think it could be interesting. Write ups will be quite short but will mean that I can post shows regularly. The first 8 main shows and 2 PPV’s are done with 8 B show summaries. Normally with diaries I tend to plan and plan, get backgrounds and descriptions in my head, and sometimes written down for every character, all ppvs planned out etc.. But I’m trying something different and just jumping in head first, so rather than properly starting off with it all planned I’m just going to post until I find my groove. So a warning I suppose that it may take a few in game months to find my feet and work out what I want from the characters/the direction things are going.. It also does mean that I’ve made a few canonical errors such as giving Dark Angel a moonsault finisher before remembering that Matravers has one… and giving Wade Orson a pounce before realising Beast Bantam has one! So characters might be a little inconsistent for a while (for example sometimes Koller can speak English, sometimes he can’t) until I find out how I like them, and any feedback on this would help! So although it might not initially start off like this I want to write about how I envisage 21CW being, half so you can know what to expect in the future and also to keep me on track. These basically expand on the goals above which be updated as I go on. -I see 21CW as being very focussed on a small cast of main characters. The main eventers aren’t just who is considered in kayfabe as the strongest but they make up a huge percentage of the show even if they don’t wrestle so often. So a main focus of mine, especially in the B show, is to build up a host of semi-credible threats for them, Self’s ‘Monster of the Week’ in his CGC put this perfectly. -21CW is ALL about entertainment for me, even much more so than SWF. Whist the wrestling and the titles are important, it’s all about the characters and their stories. Already in game my Match ratio is down to 50% and I wouldn’t be opposed to lowering this in the future. 21CW’s Got Talent Title is one step towards this, it will be a slow process but I want the talent show title to be at least as prestigious as the UK Title if not closer to the World Title. -I think it was Max Landis who talks about how WWE is in ways like The Muppet Show and I think this is very true of 21CW. I’ve not brought this in so much in what I have written so far, but eventually I want it to be less like ‘here is a wrestling show’ and more ‘here is a bunch of characters trying to put on a wrestling show’. In the same way Kermit frantically ensures the show goes well, a big focus will be on Nova who, in the middle of all these wacky characters, knows that the show must go on. -Company growth. 21CW already has a very comfortable spot in the C-Verse but I want to expand this. In their search for the best entertainment they don’t care at all about stepping on small time wrestling promotions. I’ve already opened up a child company in Europe and have purged most of Europe and SNP for any young talent. In normal games I hate doing this but with 21CW I feel like it makes sense and fits with their character. It also helps a lot with the whole cycling threats to the main characters as people can be borrowed from Europe for a few weeks then go back home. I’ve also made an alliance with my child company so we share an International Title just to give more of a link between us. -Because I view 21CW as one big popularity contest it fits in well with reader participation. It might start off slow because I’m quite far ahead of writing but eventually I want a lot of key decisions to go to either prediction contest winners or polls. Eventually I want any readers to have pretty much complete power over who is pushed so Nova (me) feels like he is constantly having to change plans to answer to the whims of the public. The prizes are going to be fairly important decisions but whilst I'm writing a few months ahead of what I'm posting you might have to wait a while until your decision affects things. Will have to go and cut all the shows I've done into thirds now to get them to post to size. </p><p> </p><p> Looking back I was definitely experimenting with different layouts in this show, and the whole Luke Cool being in The Pride thing a mistake I didn't want to do the whole show again to rectify. </p><p> </p><p> My plan is to work on the skin, jazz it up a little and make it more 21CW. It's just not something I've done before so will work on it gradually. </p><p> </p><p> I was surprised two people guessed Koller right, what I'm doing is the United Kingdom Champion will be entitled to be a judge. Right now the judges don't do much other than sometimes give opinions, but I intend on changing the format every couple of months to keep it fresh. So one month the judges might have full say, next it might be decided by the readers. I think the two match winners were pretty easy to predict. I think there's some more interesting predictions coming up. Although it's not a B show, Star Maker won't further feuds much and so I'm just going to post the summaries. The first Star Maker and the next set of predictions will be up soon. For now I'll take that as a good thing as it means you guys already know who my top people are and aren't just guessing based on what names you prefer (or you are doing that but are very lucky). I think in time I'll add some other things to predict on, not just match results, to try and add a bit of unpredictability. </p><p> </p><p> I'm enjoying writing month 3 at the moment, I think its starting to come together and I now have long term plans for most of the key characters.
