WWF 1996: The War Begins

First of all, hi and welcome to my diary. I'm doing this for my own benefit really, as I want to be able to kind of actually write out the shows and everything, so anyone that views or even comments on this is just an added bonus.

 

There is no backstory for this thread. All you need to know is that I'm playing as Vince McMahon with WWF in a 1996 Real World Mod which I converted from TEW 2013. I don't know how long it's gonna last or how good it's gonna be. Just don't be expecting a masterwork of diary writing, cause you're probably not gonna get it, but if you enjoy the diary, then good!

 

Before we begin, just a few things to point out. #1 is that I've turned off the sex appeal preference, cause it just annoys me. The other is a kind of experiment that hopefully works but if it doesn't, it's fine. What I've done is I've removed all of the In Your House events, so now there's just the 'Big 5' PPVs on the Schedule. I thought I'd try it out as a kind of long term booking idea, as we only have 1 hour of RAW at the moment every week.

 

The upcoming PPV is King of the Ring in 8 weeks time, and if anyone comments with predictions and whatnot, I'll do some sort of competition with a prize after each PPV.

It's a new era in the World Wrestling Federation! Tonight, RAW emanates from the Hartford Civic Center in New England!

 

In our Main Event, our new WWF Champion Shawn Michaels takes on one of the toughest men in the world, Big Van Vader!

 

Also, The Undertaker makes his return to WWF RAW after defeating Diesel at WrestleMania 12. He makes his return tonight against the 1-2-3 Kid!

 

And let's not forget our other match this evening! To kick off RAW, the British Bulldog will take on Ahmed Johnson in what is sure to be an awesome match!
