No popularity gains...

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, or should be ina different sub-forum.

I'm using Fleisch's real world mod, playing as PROGRESS Wrestling in the UK.

We're rated as E(24) for Importance and E+(30) for Popularity in our home region of South England. However, I've been playing for 8 months now, putting on one show a month, plus 3 extra one off shows, all rated atleast D+, but mainly C/C+/B- but our importance and popularity simply aren't changing. (we're also winning the regional wars, if that helps)

Ah, really? I hadn't even thought about that. I'm still new to this.

Economy is E+ and falling, Industry is 0?! and rising.

Britain is the only region that's 0 and even Australia is an F. That seems a bit off to me

Also, you may want to go into the editor and look at the broadcaster settings for pivotshare -- depending on how small it is set to be would affect how quickly you can gain pop from broadcasting with them.

I'm not sure exactly how it calculates but I think I've read that you get a certain amount of pop gained based on the show quality and that gets reduced based on the economy and industry of the area.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions, guys.

I had a look at the industry and economy settings in the database and they've been set pretty negative for some reason, instead of being left on the random default setting.

Pivotshare has tiny pop worldwide, however it's a deal that we have in real life and there's no other options to negotiate with.

I think my best option is to start a fresh save, changing those two factors to either slightly more positive or just random

I looked into Fleisch data, as it is what I play and it is simply the venue size. I am not saying those other things are not a factor but the venue has a max size of 875

edit: I misread what you were asking, sorry lol

I started a new save this morning and paid more attention to things. I switched the economy and industry to random, and I kept an eye on the venues. (for some reason, in my first save the game kept defaulting to that small arena)

I've now done 3 or 4 shows on my new save, the venues have been working correctly and I've went up 1 point 30>31 in popularity. I know it's nothing major, but it's a small sign of progress!
