While Im sad about Vice being canceled and this being the last canon Thunderverse Id like to thank the guys for taking the time to make these mods, I think I personally prefer the Thunderverse to the Cornellverse and Im glad we're getting one last release with all the new features of TEW2016. Im looking forward to seeing what you've done with the AWC and the new alliance titles.

<p>Part of me is MAJOR melancholy this will be the last full update... and part of me is happy this is the data's final form because I can plan a REALLY long term game without being all OCD when an update comes out that my save is "out of date" lol... gotta' find the bright side folks!</p><p> </p><p>

The main things are that the sizes of all the wrestlers has to be (re)done and that the Broadcasters all have to be rebalanced.

I'm glad to see that my supposition of a T-Verse 2016 is true, but what a price to pay...</p><p> </p><p>

No T-Verse Vice and knowing that the Diamond edition will be the last, it makes me melancholic.</p><p>

But like they say, all good things must come to an end.</p><p> </p><p>

So, thank you to all the T-Verse Team for all those years of hard work and dedication in order to give birth to the best mod on TEW.</p><p> </p><p>

With that being said, I'll wipe my tears then wait (im)patiently for that proper release. TEW2016 has been released only one month ago, and I'm already bored with the C-Verse.</p><p>

I still have fun on my unbalanced and untweaked T-Verse Platinum I imported though.</p><p> </p><p>

But if Diamond is released this month or the next one, that would be great !</p>

Ram Diablo, who as a raging bull? I totally understand why he's a raging bull; because AWF knocked him down and he's fight to prove them wrong. Love Freedom? Very easy to imagine an upbeat, posistive, smiles and kisses character clashing with the rest of the roster. That's just to name a few in one promotion. </p><p> </p><p> For whatever reason, Thunderverse characters just seem to jump off the page more.</p>

Awesome! I'm sad that this will be the last version of the mod, but at least we do get one more. Can't wait for the new version.

 

I originally downloaded the 2013 version to take some of the workers and add them to the C-Verse, where there is a severe lack of workers who will work a deathmatch, and even less workers who were any good at it. And after seeing pictures of some guys, like Butcher Hachirobei and Fujimaro Tansho, I knew I had to steal those guys. So I cut the pics, and threw them on a C-Verse background. But I never got around to using them.

 

That's because I started looking around to see what other guys I could take with me to WEXXV particularly, (where I was planning my next game), and to the C-Verse in general. And I noticed there were not only plenty of guys who could work a hardcore style, but there were a bunch of hardcore feds as well. And whereas if you played a hardcore fed in C-Verse, you always had at least half the roster the same with any fed, because of the small talent pool. And that was not a necessity in T-Verse.

 

While hardcore was not the focus of the mod or anything, I love that it has been given its due, and that the hardcore scene felt like it was a fully realised segment of the game, that it had as much effort put into it as the other areas, despite only a small minority of users that have an interest in it. It was the first time I didn't feel handicapped by the game. There were a bunch of different feds who could suitably run storyline fueds and invasion angles with. I don't know if I can ever go back to C-Verse again...

 

So huge thanks from me for the mod. Thanks for giving it one last hurrah. I shudder to think of what the next TEW game will be like without it. But who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and die or something before that day, and never have to know the horror of a Thunderverseless TEW.

 

 

 

edit: It's been over two years since I've logged in, and I saw an old message from jhd1 asking me to use a Butcher Hachirobei alt from the 2013 thread. I don't know if he's still involved with the project, since there are no posts from him in this thread, so I'll post this here as well: If you guys still want to use either of those Hachirobei alts, feel free. Ditto for any of the Mizumaki ones as well, but those Tansho ones suck, they've got a pinkish hue to them that I ended up fixing but I don't think I posted.
