How do you stay interested in the CVerse?

Thanks buddy, I appreciate the help! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Do you think it's worth enabling early regen wrestlers? Or is the game world full enough to mean it's not necessary

Honestly, it depends on how you like to book the feds you run. There are plenty of workers from the start and the ones that get added appear to keep up with the ones that retire/die early on though.

I'd try without for a while and if you feel you need more workers, you can go into the editor and change the date.

Like most people I all ready have an idea of real wrestlers and what they have done. So RW mods are tough for me as I felt I've lived most events. With the C Verse you have to pick a niche of where you want to play and learn. I chose to start from the bottom and create my own feds from the bottom. So I am more into the young up and coming workers like Ernest Youngman, El Mitico Jr, KC Glenn, etc.

Excellent, thanks again!

This is my first C-Verse save on any TEW, so it's all a bit new to me!

I think you'll find that not having any expectations makes it much easier to do crazy things. I always find that after a couple of plays I find someone I never would have thought of and manage to turn them into a star for my promotion. (I tend to run 0/0/0/1000 RTG games so I'm always looking for rough diamond types.)

Funny thing is that when the next TEW comes out half or more of the wrestlers I found essential to my games are now signed to regional or larger companies and I have to search all over again.

Makes it interesting each time.

Yeah, I think after playing as MAW for a year, I'm going to take a break and start my own promotion in a 0/0/0/ game.

I'd like to try something like going for a garbage death match fed or something, I just want to mess about with different ideas now and get stuck into this C-Verse

I go back and forth between c-verse and real world databases. Right now i made an R-rated cult/risque company in the c-verse and I'm having a blast with it. Turning Champagne Lover into an offensive, low brow, and sexually ambiguous villain has been fun to write. I would feel weird doing that to John Cena. Just feels weird and I end up not persisting in games where I alter real world characters TOO much.

It's all about personal preference. If you're bored with c-verse and insist on waiting for a better RW mod, maybe try starting a new game with a different company? It'll change things up. And no one says you have to delete your old game if you want to go back to it.

For me it doesn't matter what type of DB I use (CV, RW, Fantasy), I need to put my own mark on the world so I rarely play an established company. So I almost always set a new company to debut, occasionally add some custom workers for that company, set up some erra's with worker generation on and go from there. I also tend to to play a couple different games with vastly different product settings to keep myself interested.

Mostly I play CV and fantasy mods as I don't follow wrestling but occasionally I play a RW mod. Booking RW for me is mostly just like playing any other mod since I don't follow wrestling. Obviously I do know who some of the characters are (I've played some of the recent wwe 2k games) but I don't really know enough to book as they are irl so I do whatever I want.
