Here, it's Deborah Young's catchphrase at the end. I figured, Kate was the one she served, but now it seems as though it's someone else... Would love to see if there is a big bad boss in the background to be revealed! <p> </p><p> Curious to see where you go with the champions belt. A rematch with Deborah in due time I guess, but then? Is she good enough to be champion, even for a short while? I guess it sets up Kate to get back in contention. Otherwise, who's good to be the next challenger? It looks a bit thin on the heel front at the moment. Is Ariel good enough?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You are right that the heel side of the roster is thin after Kate's face turn. Deborah would have gotten a longer look at winning the title at All In All II if it wasn't for her backstage antics. That being said, she did earn respect for finishing the match with a broken jaw (luckily she was out only four weeks from it).</p>

<p>Chapter 13 Interlude: Event Horizon</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Kate Avatar slowly climbs up the ladder leading to the roof of Piper Casino, an envelope clutched in between her fingers.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/DIIRVJM.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

“What took you so long?” Joanne Rodriguez says half-joking as she dangles her legs over a ledge.</p><p> </p><p>

“I had to ice down my ribs,” Kate gingerly sits down next to J-Ro and looks out at the twinkling lights of the Las Vegas Strip in the distance.</p><p> </p><p>

“I thought the doctor told you to stop taking stupid bumps like that after you nearly broke your neck.”</p><p> </p><p>

“He did, but if I’m going to ask the girls to take those kind of risks, I have to show I’m willing to do the same.”</p><p> </p><p>

“And when you have to retire before you hit 35, what will they do then?” </p><p> </p><p>

Kate sighs before trying to change the subject, “Here’s you pay for the night; $1,500 in a money order, just like you wanted.”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne takes the envelope from Kate and inspects its contents, “Excellent, and I have a present for you in return,” Rodriguez hands a six pack of beer to Kate. “Stella, your favorite.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Ah shucks, you shouldn’t have,” Kate says sarcastically, before using the bottle opener on her keychain to pop the tops off of two of the beers, “Cheers.”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne grabs one of the open beers and the two women clink their bottles together, “I’m still furious about taking the loss, you know.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate takes a long sip from her beer before responding with a smile, “What else is new?”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne scoffs jokingly, and the the two women stare at the night sky, “How’s Deborah?” </p><p> </p><p>

“Her jaw's broken from the looks of it. She probably won’t need to have it wired shut, but I can dream.”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne lets out a hearty laugh, “She’s one tough bitch, but I think you would have been better off with Talia.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Probably,” Kate finishes off her first beer and opens another one, “so what’s next for you?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Well...Farrah’s going to make me QAW’s figurehead.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Wow, congrats.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah, Catherine isn’t too happy about, and she held me off of AAA’s last show after she found out, but I mean it’s all gravy at this point. Thanks to the money I made in BSC and some smart investments, I’m set for life.”</p><p> </p><p>

“So why keep doing this then?”</p><p> </p><p>

“You mean besides the rooftop chats and beer?” the two women smile at each other as Rodriguez grabs another bottle. “I guess it’s nights like tonight. That's probably the smallest crowd I’ve performed in front of in…well, maybe ever, but they were loud, and they were into it. I guess that’s what keeps me coming back, that energy…that and the fat paychecks.” J-Ro waves the envelope in her hands as both women laugh.</p><p> </p><p>

After a few moments of silence pass, Kate sighs again, “We used to be best friends, but I feel like it’s been forever since we’ve talked like this.”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne gives Kate a look that screams ‘don’t go there,' but it’s clear that Hell Cat will not take avoidance as an answer, “You remember why we became friends in the first place?”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate racks her brain for the memory, but shakes her head, unable to find any strands.</p><p> </p><p>

“It was about a month or two after I signed. I still wasn’t sure about you, but then Jakki tried to pick a fight with me and you fired her right on the spot.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Oh yeah!” Kate can’t help but laugh as the scene comes back to her.</p><p> </p><p>

“I remember thinking, ‘Here’s a woman that knows what she’s doing.’ You weren’t interested in playing games like Catherine, you just wanted to build the best company you could, and you weren’t going to take shit from nobody along the way.”</p><p> </p><p>

“So what changed?”</p><p> </p><p>

“You mean besides you not standing up for me when Honey gave me that lowball offer? Or maybe it was when you let her steal $4 million from the company?”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate stares down at the sidewalk below, “You know I couldn’t have…”</p><p> </p><p>

“Look Kate, I didn’t come here to fight old battles,” Joanne stands up and brushes herself off.</p><p> </p><p>

“Where are you going?” Kate can’t help but sound meek in her questioning.</p><p> </p><p>

“There’s some club near the Rio that’s going to pay me a couple hundred bucks to make an appearance. Unlike some people, they offered to cover my travel expenses,” Rodriguez tries to sound playful, but Kate’s shoulders only slump more.</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, it was good seeing you again,” Avatar doesn’t look up from the sidewalk as J-Ro walks to the ladder.</p><p> </p><p>

“You too, Kate,” Joanne pauses as she starts climbing down the first rung, “Farrah’s ready to talk, whenever you are.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Thanks Joannie, I’ll keep that in mind,” Kate looks up at her former best friend with a face full of regret, “Maybe in a year or so.”</p><p> </p><p>

Rodriguez nods wistfully, “I’ll let her know.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate watches Joanne disappear out of sight and opens up another beer. The neon hue of Las Vegas continues to illuminate the horizon as Kate spends the rest of the night on the rooftop, alone.</p>

Live from Piper Casino</p><p>

Las Vegas, Nevada</p><p>

Saturday, Week 4, April 2017</p><p>

Attendance: 64</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Pre-Show Dark Match #1: Laura Flame vs Natalie DiMarco</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/52WMMKc.jpg</span> <strong>VS</strong> <span>http://i.imgur.com/oMX9Z9a.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The majority of the larger than expected crowd has arrived early, and they are treated to another great performance by Laura Flame. Unfortunately, Natalie does not live up to her end of the bargain, continuously botching routine moves. The fans jeer DiMarco as she slips off the top rope while trying to jump for a flying elbow, and Laura decides to end the proceedings early with a Flame Fire Kick directly to Natalie’s jaw.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner via Pinfall: Laura Flame</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Claire Winters joins her tag team partner in the ring after having ripped away a microphone from a terrified casino staffer, “Suede Rebellion, or whatever you two call yourself, we are not done with you yet.”</p><p> </p><p>

Winters hands the microphone to Laura, who tries to talk over the booing crowd, “Last month I sent that old bat Heidi Brooks straight into the nursing home where she belongs. Velvet and Ursula, if you have the lady cajones to get in the ring with us again, we’ll do the same to you.”</p><p> </p><p>

Claire takes the microphone back as both women lean over the top rope to taunt the jeering crowd, “It is our destiny to be tag team champions, and no bunch of puntas are going to stand in our way.”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Segment Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show Dark Match #2: “Killer” Kathy McMahon vs Sandra Shine</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/d8b9d8M.jpg</span> <strong>VS</strong> <span>http://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

After Fire N Ice head backstage, the newly dubbed “Killer” Kathy takes on a squirrely Sandra Shine. The small blonde’s constant twitching and mumbling appears to distract Kathy, even as the rookie lays into Shine. Over the course of the match, it becomes clear that McMahon is drawing heavily from Catherine Quine’s brawler repertoire, but Sandra refuses to be put down.</p><p> </p><p>

Nine minutes into the match, Kathy lands a series of brutal strikes to Sandra’s head. Shine does not seem affected, and instead appears to gain strength from each blow. The volume of the blonde’s rambling gets louder with each hit as well, but is still incomprehensible.</p><p> </p><p>

As Kathy sells not knowing what to do next, Sandra wags her finger at McMahon. Kathy tries to hit her opponent with another punch, but Sandra counters into the Rise and Shine hurricanrana. The small blonde quickly covers her stunned opponent and gets the pin.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winner via Pinfall: Sandra Shine</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd seems shocked by Sandra’s win, but their surprise pales in comparison to that of Kathy. McMahon quickly rises to her feet and hits a celebrating Shine with the Glittering Jawbreaker (double knee facebreaker).</p><p> </p><p>

Kathy leaves the ring in a huff, while the referee helps Sandra to her feet. Even he seems put off by Sandra’s erratic behavior, as Shine shambles to the back, mumbling “I must find her…I must find her,” as she goes.</p><p>

Show Opening:</strong></p><p><strong>

White Zombie’s <em>

</em></p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/MFqBTSvBPAU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="White Zombie More Human Than Human"></iframe></div></div> plays to bring out Kate Avatar to a mostly positive reaction. There are still a dozen fans who vocally boo Hell Cat, but Kate does her best to acknowledge the cheers as she is handed a microphone.<p> </p><p>

“At All In All II, I got the honor of wrestling Joanne Rodriguez one more time, and we tore the house down,” the audience cheers the mention of J-Ro as Kate continues, “But Deborah Young, you spoiled what should have been the happiest night of my life. This can only make me think one thing…I had it coming.”</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd doesn’t quite know what to make of Kate’s statement, but still voice their support of her, “I let the hate and anger from what happened to me change me. I let all those feelings of bitterness turn me into…well, a Grade A bitch. But let me promise all of you here tonight this, those days are over. The only goal I have now is to lead this company to the top, come hell or high water, and no one is going to stand in my way!”</p><p> </p><p>

As the fans pop from Hell Cat’s proclamation, Kate makes sure to stare directly into the camera, “So Debbie, whatever you have planned for tonight, you can forget it. The moment I step in the ring with you, you are going to be in for the ass kicking of your life. I hope you’re ready because all that hate and anger I have inside, I’m going to take it out on you.”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Match #1: The Power and the Gloria (Glorious Gloria and Juliette King) vs Velvet Revolución © for the DPW Deuces Wild Tag Team Titles</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/sZpWAMg.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/sZpWAMg.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Velvet Revolución proudly wear the Deuces Wild Tag Team titles as they enter the ring. The initial few minutes against Juliette and Gloria quickly dampen their mood, though, as Ursula and Velvet realizes that can’t overlook the raw power of their opponents.</p><p> </p><p>

Saez again puts on a star performance, and the crowd erupts when she gets the hot tag then proceeds to clean house. After Ursula topples King with a series of kicks, a charging Gloria gets picked up for the Saez Splitter. In the chaos, the referee appears to have lost track of who the legal woman for the challengers is, and counts 1 – 2 – 3 with Saez covering Gloria.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winners via Pinfall and Still DPW Deuces Wild Tag Team Champions: Velvet Revolución</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As Juliette argues with referee Gregory Chapman, Velvet is handed a microphone, “Fire N Ice, we hear you want another match against us, so why don’t you come on out here and we’ll give you an answer.”</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/52WMMKc.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/1OjidHr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The two women stand on the stage with their arms crossed and impatiently gesture towards Velvet to continue.<p> </p><p>

Suarez appears annoyed by Fire N Ice's demeanor as she starts talking again, “We beat you fair and square to win these titles. If you two want another match, we definitely have the <em>cojones </em>to face you again. But this time, it’s going to be on our terms!”</p><p> </p><p>

Velvet holds the microphone out for Ursula, who leans in with a smile on her face, “Lucha Libre <em>putas</em>!”</p><p> </p><p>

Laura and Claire look at each other, not quite sure what that stipulation means. The fans are equally confused, but cheer loudly anyway.</p><p>

Match #2: Amy Galaxy vs Ariel Breaks</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpg</span> <strong>VS</strong> <span>http://i.imgur.com/FOATvSe.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

In an effort to steal the show, Amy and Ariel start the match with a series of suplexs and counters. With Amy off her game for an unknown reason, the quick pace does not benefit either woman and it is not long before Ariel becomes gassed from having to carry the declining veteran.</p><p> </p><p>

The action devolves into a chain of rest holds, as Ariel tries to catch her breath. Sensing that they are losing the crowd, Breaks throws caution to the wind and signals Amy to really let her have it.</p><p> </p><p>

“Is that all you got old woman!?” Ariel yells at Galaxy, who responds with a series of thunderous slaps to the chest. The crowd buzzes with each blow and Breaks’ chest turns a bright red from the punishment.</p><p> </p><p>

With the match back on track, Amy and Ariel continue to fight for another six minutes. Just when it appears that Galaxy is going to win with a Time Warp DDT, Ariel slips out of the hold and rolls up Amy. Before the Girl from the 22nd Century can react, the referee has already counted to three to give Breaks the win.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winner via Pinfall: Ariel Breaks</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Amy pops up as Ariel rolls out of the ring with a wide smile on her face. Galaxy asks the referee if she was really just pinned while Breaks taunts the crowd over her victory. Suddenly, Amy dives through the ropes and lands on Ariel. The two women brawl up the ramp before Breaks dashes backstage with Galaxy in hot pursuit. From their lack of reaction, the audience only appears interested in moving on to the next segment.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/NcYZPXH.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Simony comes out from backstage to a loud pop, but the Violent Violet does not appear to be her usual upbeat self. The crowd still chants Sentinel’s name, but Simony is not as enthusiastic in returning their high-fives before entering the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

“As you can all see, I am still Queen of the Ring,” the fans roar their approval as Simony pats the belt on her shoulder, “but I'm not sure if I should be. Don’t get me wrong, I'm happy that I beat Deborah at All In All II, but I rewatched the match, and I don’t know if I would have won without help.”</p><p> </p><p>

The audience tries to cheer up Sentinel with a “Hey Simony, you’re so fine, you blow my mind. Hey Simony!” chant, but even that does not seem to brighten the Violent Violet’s mood.</p><p> </p><p>

“That’s why tonight, I am issuing an open challenge to anyone on the roster. Whoever comes out first will get a shot at my Queen of the Ring title.”</p><p> </p><p>

A few seconds of silence pass before Simony receives her answer.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Maria walks out to the surprise of the crowd. Guest is all smiles as she heads down the ramp and into the ring. Simony sells not being sure what to make of this development, but stays true to her word and hands the title belt to the referee while telling him to call for the bell. </p><p> </p><p>

Match #3: Maria Guest vs Simony Sentinel © for the DPW Queen of the Ring Title</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg</span> <strong>VS</strong> <span>http://i.imgur.com/NcYZPXH.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/dw8jdk2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Simony and Maria begin the match with a handshake, but the niceties quickly fade away as Guest makes it clear that she is not going to go easy on her long-time tag team partner. A hard kick to the stomach removes the last vestige of Sentinel’s hesitation, and soon the two best friends are throwing each other around the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

The fans are clearly behind the Violent Violet, but it is Maria who controls most the early action. The tide turns when Guest has Simony in the figure-four leglock. Sentinel feigns tapping out, only to roll over, reversing the hold. Maria screams out in pain, but is able to reach the ropes to force a break.</p><p> </p><p>

Both women continue to put on their best performances since joining DPW, with Simony gaining more and more momentum as the match goes along. With Maria down on the mat after a DDT, the Violent Violet points to the top turnbuckle to signal for a Sentinel Strike. Simony prepares to leap, but Guest springs to her feet and kicks the top rope causing Sentinel to lose her balance.</p><p> </p><p>

As Simony staggers back to her feet, Maria takes her perch atop a turnbuckle and jumps, hitting her opponent with a flying cross body. Both wrestlers hit the mat with Guest covering Sentinel. While the referee begins his count, Maria puts her feet on the ropes for leverage…</p><p> </p><p>

…1</p><p> </p><p>

…2</p><p> </p><p>

…just when it appears that referee Gregory Chapman’s hand is going to hit the mat for the third time, he looks up and points at Guest attempt at cheating. Maria feigns ignorance as she breaks the pin. A still recovering Simony rolls to the theater floor to collect herself, unaware of what her tag team partner just tried to do.</p><p> </p><p>

Simony appears reenergized after she gets back in the ring at the count of eight, blocking a punch from Guest before landing an elbow of her own. Shots are traded back and forth before Maria tries to hit Simony with a belly-to-belly suplex. Sentinel is able to use her quickness to counter by hooking Guest’s arm and then hitting a Russian leg sweep.</p><p> </p><p>

Maria is the one stunned now, and as the blonde gets to her feet, Simony bounces off of the ropes and connects with UltraViolet. As the fans chant her name, the Violent Violet goes back to the top rope before flipping in the air and landing on her best friend with the Sentinel Strike. With a conflicted look on her face, Simony covers Maria to retain her title.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winner via Pinfall and Still DPW Queen of the Ring: Simony Sentinel </strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As Simony rises to her feet, Maria sells dejection over being so close to winning the Queen of the Ring title. Guest uses the ropes to help herself stand up and Simony approaches her friend with her hand outstretched. Maria appears to be holding back tears as she looks at Sentinel and then the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

After another moment of indecision, Guest shakes Simony’s hand and the two tag team partners embrace. Maria lifts Sentinel’s arm up in victory as the crowd cheers their approval. Exiting to the theater floor, Guest and Simony do one more lap around the ring to high-five the fans in the front row before helping each other walk backstage.</p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

That confusion is quickly resolved as a fully healed Deborah Young walks out, flanked by the same women in Honey Golightly masks from All In All II. On the screen above the stage, footage of Deborah’s destruction of Kate last month is played on a continuous loop. Young makes her way to the ring with her entourage in tow as the crowd boos the trio. Once through the ropes, Deborah outstretches her hands and with a perverse smile on her face, mockingly intones, “I serve only one…”</p><p>

The video of Deborah powerbombing Kate into the ramp is still playing when Hell Cat appears on the stage. Kate looks up at the screen and the corners of her lips start to turn upwards.<p> </p><p>

“Deborah, you think one little ass kicking is going to keep me down? I’ve had wave after wave of shit hit me these past two years and right now, I have nothing left to lose. You going to break my bones? You going to stomp my head in? You think that makes me scared of you?”</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd is eating out of Kate’s hand as she approaches the ring, a stream of everything she has kept in since BSC closed flowing out of her mouth, “You should try losing everything you ever worked for! You should try having life punch you in the gut and leave you for dead! If I can get up from that, then no matter what you do and no matter who your two creepy friends are, you don’t stand a chance against me.”</p><p> </p><p>

Kate holds up the microphone and the fans yell along with her, “My name is Kate Avatar, and I'm here to raise hell!”</p><p>

Main Event: Deborah Young vs Kate Avatar</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FDrUdvi.jpg</span> <strong>VS</strong> <span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Kate and Deborah engage in a staredown. Hell Cat is the first one to throw a punch, but Young blocks the blow easily and counters by pushing Avatar down to the mat.</p><p> </p><p>

That initial exchange sets the tone for the action, as the former members of Bad Sisters Club brawl back and forth, with Deborah usually getting the better of her opponent. Kate can not seem to overcome Young’s sheer strength, so Hell Cat resorts to her seldom used high-flying moves to gain an advantage.</p><p> </p><p>

Deborah grows tired of Kate jumping from the turnbuckle, and catches Hell Cat during an attempted double axe handle. Instead of simply slamming Kate to the mat, Deborah carries her opponent to the corner and then climbs to the top rope. Hell Cat tries to fight back, but Young is too strong and throws Kate down to the hard floor below.</p><p> </p><p>

Hell Cat hits with a sickening thud and the two masked women stand over her as the referee begins his count. The crowd shouts encouragement at Kate, and somehow she summons the will to get up. Right at the count of nine, Avatar rolls into the ring only to be met by another assault from Young.</p><p> </p><p>

The two continue the brawl for ten more minutes, with Kate now targeting Young’s recently broken jaw. This tactic seems to work as Deborah groans with each shot. Seizing the advantage, Kate sweeps Young’s leg and jumps on top of her foe to lock in Hell Cat’s Cradle.</p><p> </p><p>

With the submission putting most of the torque on Deborah’s face, Young looks like she is about to tap out when one of the women disguised as Honey Golightly jumps up on the apron. Referee Gregory Chapman goes over to tell the woman to get down, but this gives Deborah’s other ally the opportunity to slip into the ring and kick Kate in the head.</p><p> </p><p>

Young is unable to take advantage of this interference, as both wrestlers lay recovering on the mat. Deborah is the first to get back to her feet, but as she looms over her opponent, Hell Cat pops up and knocks the wind out of her with stiff elbow to the stomach. With Deborah bending over in pain, Kate brings the crowd to their feet by picking up the 245-pound woman and hitting her with the Dark Phoenix Driver. </p><p> </p><p>

Before Kate can go for the pin, Deborah’s two allies rush into ring and start assaulting Hell Cat, giving the referee no choice but to call for the bell. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner via DQ: Kate Avatar</strong></p><p>

With the crowd booing, the two mysterious women lay into Kate with vicious kicks and punches. One of the figures in black holds Hell Cat up and the other removes her mask to reveal Emma Bitch.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/Ej7P7y8.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Emma quickly picks up Avatar and hits her with the Payback Slam (Angle Slam). “Payback’s a bitch, Kate!!!” Emma’s scream echoes throughout the theater as some fans throw their drinks into the ring. </p><p> </p><p>

Kate slowly climbs back to her feet and the other woman pulls off her mask.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/BtwT5LL.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

“Off with her ‘ead!” Thea Davis shouts before hitting Hell Cat with an Axe Kick. Both Emma and Thea cackle at the fallen Avatar, but the now recovered Deborah towers over both women as she stomps over to her foe.</p><p> </p><p>

As the fans shriek, Young picks up Kate for the Devastator.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/WJmMHx8.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/NcYZPXH.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The audience roars as Maria and Simony run down the ramp to Kate’s rescue. The tag team partners show little wear from their earlier match as they slide into the ring and take the fight to Emma and Thea. Doll Parts quickly dispatch the debuting wrestlers and Deborah is forced to turn her attention from Hell Cat to the tag team.</p><p> </p><p>

Maria and Simony send Young to the mat with stereo dropkicks, giving the pair enough time to help a wounded Kate to her feet. Deborah, Emma and Thea begin to recover as the faces roll underneath the ropes. Now standing on the theater floor, Kate holds her ribs while Simony tells the women in the ring that she won’t stand for their bullying. </p><p> </p><p>

With their mission accomplished, Maria motions to Sentinel that they should head backstage, but Deborah suddenly reaches over the top rope and lifts Guest back into the ring by her hair. Simony and Kate try valiantly to reenter the ring, but Emma and Thea are ready for the attempt this time and easily keep the two women at bay.</p><p> </p><p>

While Hell Cat and Sentinel look on helplessly, Deborah unleashes her full arsenal on Maria, including a vicious piledriver that leaves Guest unconscious. Young then drags the blonde to a corner and jumps from the top rope, squashing Maria with her full weight.</p><p>

<strong>Post-Show Dark Match: Emiko Miyoshi and Kaori Mochzuki vs Emma Bitch and Thea Davis</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As the trio of Deborah, Emma, and Thea celebrate, Kate and Simony are finally able to retrieve a broken Maria from the ring. Avatar and Sentinel help Guest to the back while an unknown pair of Japanese wrestlers come out to face Bitch and Davis.</p><p> </p><p>

Most of the crowd has left before the match even starts, and the heels make quick work of their opponents. With Emiko as the legal woman, Emma knocks Kaori to the theater floor with a stiff punch. Miyoshi then walks into the Payback Slam and that is enough to get Emma the pin for her team.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Winners via Pinfall: Emma Bitch and Thea Davis</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: F+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Emma and Thea playfully curtsy to each other before turning their attention back to the downed Emiko. After a smile and a nod, the two women attack the 18-year-old with a vengeance. Bitch and Davis tear away Miyoshi’s outfit until Emiko is left stripped in the middle of the ring. The handful of fans still left in the theater seem to enjoy the titillation, even as they boo Emma and Thea’s despicable actions.</p><p>

Qualifier for the Venus Tournament

"Killer" Kathy McMahon vs Marie Punnen (debuting rookie wrestler)

Qualifier for the Venus Tournament

Emiko Miyoshi vs Thea Davis

Classic Cage Match

Amy Galaxy vs Ariel Breaks

Qualifier for the Venus Tournament

Juliette King vs Sandra Shine

Tag Team Match for the DPW Deuces Wild Titles - Lucha Libre Rules (2 out of 3 Falls)

Fire N Ice vs Velvet Revolución ©

Main Event

Deborah Young and Emma Bitch vs Kate Avatar and Simony Sentinel

Bonus Points

Who gets the fall in the main event? Emma Bitch

Who takes the fall in the main event? Kate Avatar

I can't really tell if Punnen is coming in to job for the established wrestlers, or if you're looking to build her up right away. Could go either way.

A cage match suggests this is the big payoff match for Galaxy vs Breaks. Breaks is the better wrestler (I think), but surely the heroine should come out on top?

And finally, the main event. The heels has to win this one, right? Bitch need the momentum more than Young, while Simony on the other end can't really afford to lose hers (unless you're setting her up to lose her title soon!)

Are these the final qualifiers for the Venus Tournament? I can tell you already now who I want to win it, but if there are more contestants I might change my mind...

Not gonna make a prediction, but I'd just like to say that I have just read this whole diary and I am pretty hooked. <p>Chapter 14 Interlude: Voice of the Voiceless</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="border: solid 5px #000000;"></p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/XEjtSQu.jpg</span></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">“Hi everyone, and welcome to the number one wrestling podcast in the entire, yes </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>entire</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">, world. I am your humble servant, Phil Vibert, the man who is never afraid to pull back the curtain and tell you all the things </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>they </em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">don’t want you to know. Strap yourself in, this is Vibert’s Voice.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Phil’s faint Bronx accent is replaced by pulsating music that sounds straight out of a nightly news broadcast. These beats are interspersed with various sound bites: a rant on Alex DeColt and CGC, an argument with Kurt Laramee, reminiscing about DAVE with Chris Caulfield.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“We have a packed show today so let’s get to it. Coming up we’ll talk about the desperation of both SWF and USPW in switching their main titles to Skull DeBones and Enygma,” Phil clears his throat, “Hey, Richie Rich and Allen Packer, you want to know why interest in wrestling is declining in this country?! Maybe it’s because you keep shoving the same played out has-beens down our throats instead of, oh I don’t know, building up new stars that are actually under the age of 40!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Phil pauses for a second to gather his composure, “But anyways, before I get into a rant, we have to talk about what occurred on this past Thursday’s USPW The Weekly Show,” Vibert makes a gagging sound into the microphone, “Ugh, that name. Weak is right. Anyway, for those of you who can actually watch USPW shows without getting cavities, you witnessed a truly sad incident. Louisa Robinson, better known as Raven Nightfall, slipped while trying to do a dive out of the ring, her neck hitting the ropes and snapping backwards as a result. My exclusive sources tell me Ms. Robinson does indeed have a broken neck and doctors are unsure if she will ever walk again. To give us some insight into this, we have on the line the former booker of Babes of Sin City, Kate Avatar. Kate, you there?” </div><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">“Hello Mr. Vibert,” Kate’s speaks as clearly as she can into her phone, just like she was instructed to do earlier by the show’s producer.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Phil will do, Kate. Now, you’ve worked with Louisa in the past, correct?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Yes Phil, that is correct.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“So this must be hitting you pretty hard?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Uh…yes, it’s just tragic. Raven…Louisa, came out of retirement two years ago because USPW would only hire her to wrestle.” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“So you think her age played a factor?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate voice becomes slightly annoyed, “No, this is one of those freak things that could happen on any night. That is just the risk we take when we step into the ring.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Ah I see. I’m not sure how much you go on my website Kate, subscription only $2.99 a month, but I have been receiving a lot of comments from my members saying this kind of carelessness is what you can expect from women wrestling.” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

There is a long pause before Kate replies, the anger clear in her tone, “In all fairness Phil, I think that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I’m guessing your members have been your fans since DAVE, and how many broken bones did they witness during those shows? How many times did they watch Eric Tyler and John Campbell cut short their careers for their entertainment? I don’t think any one of them ever said anything about all those injuries being an indictment of </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>men </em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">wrestling.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Phil’s lips curl upward, “Touché.” The sound of papers being shuffled is heard before Vibert continues, “With one of the cornerstones of their Women’s division out for at least a year, my sources tell me that USPW has offered Joanne Rodriguez and Nadia Snow huge contracts. Kate, what do you make of AAA and QAW potentially losing two of their top stars?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh well, that’s just awful,” Kate tries to hide the joy in her voice, but fails miserably.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“You sound really broken up about it?” Vibert is able to easily ratchet up his sarcasm.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Well…it’s just that these things happen.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“And I can assume your lack of empathy for your fellow promoters has nothing to do with your history with Catherine Quine?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

There is a long moment of silence and Vibert signals to his producer to make sure that Kate’s call has not been dropped, “Phil, I didn’t come here to talk about that. It’s been over eight years now.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Well Kate, this is Vibert’s Voice, where we talk about the things no one else will.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Fine. Let’s just say Cathy and me don’t have the best relationship. And, as far as I’m concerned, a blow to AAA is my company’s gain.” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Okay, I’ll take that. You mentioned you have your own company now. It’s called Dark Phoenix Wrestling I believe.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Yes, we have an event coming up in a few wee…”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“This is of course after you were the head booker of Babes of Sin City, which closed down in July of 2015. I’d like to ask you a few questions about that.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Phil, this isn’t really the time…”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“We’ve all heard the rumors, I’ve covered them here on my show. Now is your chance to set the record straight.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate sighs, “You want to hear the truth? Well, the truth is I got screwed…by me. I was so focused on building BSC that I didn't see what Honey was doing.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Ah yes, Honey Golightly. Have you talked with her recently?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Phil, Honey is either relaxing on a beach in Central America or is at the bottom of Lake Mead. Either way, I will never have to see her again and that’s just fine with me.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Ah, now that’s a good sound bite.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“If I can Phil, I’d like to say that DPW is running a show…”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Well, that's all the time we have for this segment. Thank you Kate Avatar for your honesty and good luck with Dark Phoenix Wrestling,” more generic music plays and Phil receives the signal from his producer that they have stopped recording. “Hey Kate, you still there?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Phil, I was told that if I came on your show, I would get a chance to promote Bitter Harvest.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh sorry about that Kate. I’ll check on that for you, but you should know I have a very strict policy against people promoting their product on my show. My biggest asset is the trust I have with my listeners and I can’t be seen playing favorites or having a conflict of interest. But if you can stay on the line for a few minutes, I’d like to talk with you. I am a big fan of your work in BSC.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh…thank you.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Yes, that storyline with Amber Allen was amazing.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“You mean when Alicia Strong outed her?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh, no, that was good too, but I’m talking about the one with the referee and Alexis Lee Littlefeather. ‘I'm still a virgin, we did it anally,’ that still makes me laugh.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Ah, I see.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“You know Kate; you really shouldn’t beat yourself up about what happened with BSC. Hell, you should consider yourself lucky it was a quick death. With DAVE, we bled out slowly. I became so obsessed with keeping the company afloat that my wife left me. My kids…I missed so many birthdays and graduations that they are just starting to forgive me. You married or have any kids?"</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“No...”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“That’s good. Only way you can succeed in this business.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Well, thank you for the advice. If that’s all I should probabl…”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I’ll admit I’ve caught some of Dark Phoenix’s shows online.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh really, what did you think?” Kate’s tone becomes hopeful.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“To be completely honest, I wasn’t that impressed. Some good stuff, but a lot of derivative filler as well.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I see…”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just…why should I watch you, instead of AAA or QAW? What makes you different?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“What do you mean?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Come on Kate, what makes Dark Phoenix different?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Well, I think our stories are a bit darker and our action a little more hard-hitting than what the other compani...”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“But see, that’s just the problem. You can’t beat someone by being a ‘little’ different. You have to be an alternative. You can’t just be AAA with more shots to the head and you can’t just be QAW on a cloudy day. You need to be DIFFERENT.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Only Kate’s breathing can be heard on the other side of the call.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Kate, do you know why BSC got so big? It wasn’t because you had more tits and ass than AAA; that was just a symptom. It was because you were willing to go where Catherine Quine wouldn’t.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate sighs again, “I’ll admit that I haven’t been 100% happy with how things are going. I think we’ve been putting on great shows for the most part, but sometimes it feels like no one cares.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Trust me, I’ve been there,” Phil looks up to see his producer signaling that they need to start recording the next segment, “Look, I have to go, but if you want to talk about this more, I’m going to be in Vegas around the time of your next show.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“That…that would be great.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">A dominant showing from Thea, who barely lets Emiko get in any offense at all. Emma and Deborah walk out as the crowd tries to boo over the thumping beats of Nine Inch Nails' “Head Like a Hole.” Thea joins the pair on the stage and the jeers grow louder. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Shuuut up!” Emma yells into her microphone, a permanent sneer etched across her face. Motioning at Davis and Young, Bitch continues, “You might have seen these two women together before, but that pathetic Amber Allen couldn’t even beat Kate Avatar, so now they’ve got a new leader. Someone who can end that red-headed whore once and for all…me! What you’ve seen before is child’s play next to what we are going to do! That was Generations, this is Devastation!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Thea steps forward with a Cheshire Cat-like grin on her lips, “Kate, pussycat, we played you like the fool you are. We’ve been planning this ever since we heard you were crawling back out of the gutter. It didn’t all go perfectly. Poor Deborah here was supposed to win the title from you, just to break your heart even more, but the look on your face when I kicked you in the head made it all worth it.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emma nods at Thea before holding up her microphone again, “Doll Parts, you made the mistake of getting in our way, so now you’re just as guilty as Kate is. Deborah's already put one of you in the hospital, and Simony, she can’t wait to knock you into a coma so you can be in a bed right next to Maria.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As if on command, Young outstretches her hands and looks up to the ceiling, “I serve only one…I serve only…Devastation.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emma looks into the camera, deliberate in each word she speaks, “We will end you Kate, and when we are done, the only thing that will be left of you is your blood on the mat.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">With the both competitors in the ring, the steel cage structure is lowered down from the ceiling. As the two face off, Amy stares a hole through Breaks, “There’s nowhere to run now, Ariel!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Amy might have better off keeping her mouth shut, as a riled up Breaks counters every move thrown at her with ease. Galaxy’s only saving grace is that she is able to use Ariel’s own competitive fire against her, suckering in Breaks by feigning helplessness and then slamming her opponent's face into the cage.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Eight minutes into the match, a cut opens up on Ariel’s forehead after Galaxy’s grinds her face into the steel mesh. The hot crowd cheers the sight of blood and Amy tries to follow up by locking a chokehold on Breaks. As blood streams down her face, Ariel struggles to get free. In one last move of desperation, Breaks jumps up and pushes off of the cage with her feet, causing herself and Galaxy to fall backwards. Amy lands with her shoulders down on the mat, and with Breaks on top of her, the referee starts his count.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

…2</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

…Amy releases the hold to get her shoulders up. Galaxy tries to spear the gasping Ariel, but Breaks steps out of the way and pushes Amy’s head into the cage at full speed. With Galaxy dazed, Ariel grabs her opponent around the waist and tosses Amy into the steel mesh with Breakerfall. Ariel then goes to the top rope, blows a kiss to the jeering crowd, and nails Amy with the Ariel Spiral for the win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Match #2: Juliette King vs Sandra Shine – Venus Tournament Qualifier</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/D8rr9Zs.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>VS</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/kq95o5v.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><p></p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">Sandra, twitching eye and all, stands across from the 246-pound King. Juliette can’t figure out what to make of her foe, who stares off somewhere into the distance, mumbling intermittently to herself. King decides the best course of action is to punch Shine in the head, which seems to pull the small blonde out of her haze.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Juliette acting as the bully, the crowd manages to get behind Sandra, even if the cheers are muted. The fans clap their support of Shine as King brings her down to the mat with a shoulder claw, pinching down on the nerve in Sandra’s neck.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After initially looking like she will tap out, Shine regains her strength as the volume of her incoherent ranting becomes louder. Finally, the audience is able to make out “…reveal yourself to me!” from the small blonde before Shine is somehow able to stand up.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Juliette is beside herself as Sandra breaks out of the hold and pushes her away. King lands several shots to Shine’s head, but Sandra responds by shaking her fists and asking for more. Juliette tries for one more blow, only for Shine to block the attempt and then wag her finger at the 246-pound woman.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With eyes full of rage, King runs to the ropes before charging at Sandra. The small blonde jumps into the air, and grabbing Juliette’s head with legs, flips the former bodybuilder over for the Rise and Shine hurricanrana. Landing on top of King, Sandra hooks her opponent’s leg while she chants “She must come…she must come.” The stunned referee hesitates before going down to the mat and counting 1 – 2 – 3 for the pin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After the referee raises her arm up in victory, an agitated Sandra rolls under the ropes and heads for the stage.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Once there, Shine gets on her knees and lifts her voice to the heavens, “Lady of the Night, reveal yourself to me!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As if responding to Sandra’s prayer, a flood of red liquid pours down from the ceiling, landing directly on Shine and splattering onto the stage. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Drenched in what appears to be blood, Sandra looks down at her hands with confusion, selling that this wasn’t exactly the answer she was looking for.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd strains to see what is being presented to them, but the match clips are grainy at best and the badly shot angles make the action hard to follow. The audio isn’t much better, and all that the fans clearly hear from the intended hype video is Velvet saying, “You attack one of us, you attack all of us. ¡Viva la Revolución!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">Despite the lackluster introduction, the fans are buzzing with anticipation for this rematch from All In All II. Ursula and Velvet are right at home with the lucha libre stipulation, but Laura and Claire take a few minutes to adjust to the unfamiliar rules. In one instance, Winters slides out of the ring to recover after a barrage from Saez. To Flame’s surprise, the referee points at her, indicating that she is now the legal woman since her tag team partner’s feet hit the theater floor. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With their normal stalling tactics rendered useless, Fire N Ice decide to take the fight to their opponents. Each of the four women get a chance to shine as the two tag teams try to steal the show, but the fast-paced nature of the match tilts the action in favor of Velvet Revolución.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Six minutes in, Claire has Velvet lined up for a spinning heel kick, but the purple-clad wrestler uses her speed to duck out of the way. Winters prepares to block the anticipated counter blow, only to watch Suarez zoom past her. Velvet leaps onto the ropes and jumps backwards to hit a springboard back elbow drop on a disoriented Claire.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd chants “Purple Haze” as Suarez goes to the top turnbuckle and hits her patented Moonsault on Winters. Velvet covers Claire and the referee counts 1 – 2 – 3 to give Velvet Revolución the first fall.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>1 – 0</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Claire rolls out of the ring and Laura charges in with a fury befitting her fiery red hair. Velvet tries to tag in Ursula, but Flame refuses to let her target off that easily. An elbow to the back of the head sends Suarez to the mat, and when Velvet staggers to her feet, she eats a Flame Fire Kick to the jaw.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Laura quickly goes for the pin, but Ursula breaks it up at the count of two. Suarez manages to roll to the floor, leaving Saez and Flame to square off against one another. The two wrestlers exchange vicious blows and counters, bringing the cheering fans to their feet. Laura tries to connect with another Flame Fire Kick, but Ursula sees the move coming all the way. Displaying her power, Saez grabs Laura and suplexs her over the top rope, popping the crowd.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Flame out on the theater floor, Winters tries her best to hit Ursula with all she has left, but Claire has taken too much damage already to make her offense effective. A kick from her opponent puts the Ice Woman off balance, and Ursula finishes her with the Saez Splitter. Flame can only look on from the floor as Ursula covers Winters to get the second fall for the win. </div><p></p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">Laura slaps the mat in frustration and Claire rolls underneath the ropes to join her on the theater floor. The tag team partners argue for a few moments, gesturing about what went wrong during the match. Both Flame and Winters look up to see Velvet Revolución celebrating with the tag titles. Without a word to each other, Fire N Ice slide back into the ring, ambushing Velvet and Ursula with a vengeance.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Laura grabs one of the titles and bashes Velvet over the head with it, while Claire takes out Ursula with a spinning heel kick. Kate takes a step down the ramp before pointing her finger at Deborah, Emma, and Thea, “Whatever vendetta you three have against me, it ends here tonight. There's no excuse for coming in here and trying to intentionally injure someone. If I have to put my own body on the line to stop you, I will!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Simony nods her head as she walks forward next to Hell Cat, “Kate and me have had our battles in the past, but I know she’s a hundred times better a person than any of you could ever be. Unfortunately for the Violent Violet, Simony spends the bulk of the match in the ring for her team, absorbing every move from Devastation’s arsenal. Each time Simony creates some space between herself and her attackers, the fans beg for Sentinel to reach Kate’s outstretched hand.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After being cut-off by Young and Bitch several times, Simony is finally able to jump away from Emma’s grasp and gives Hell Cat the hot tag. Avatar runs into the ring with a full head of steam, clotheslining Bitch before hitting a charging Deborah with a spinebuster.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd is at a fever pitch as Kate lifts Emma up for the Dark Phoenix Driver, but Deborah knocks down Hell Cat before she can slam Bitch to the mat. Young picks Kate up and connects with the Devastator, but Emma’s subsequent pin attempt is broken up by a flying elbow drop from Simony. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Bitch tries to hit Sentinel with the Payback Slam, but Simony counters with a belly-to-belly suplex. Deborah stalks Sentinel, but Simony ducks under Young’s outstretched arms and bounces off of the ropes to connect with UltraViolet to the 245-pound woman's head.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With the three other participants in the match down on the mat, Simony goes back to the ring apron and calls for Kate to tag her in. The audience claps their encouragement as Hell Cat finds the strength to get back on her feet and slaps Sentinel’s hand. The Violent Violet immediately goes to the top turnbuckle and leaps for the Sentinel Strike on the prone Emma, but Bitch gets her knees up right at the last second. Sentinel writhes around on the canvas in pain, but with Emma still recovering, she is able to get up and stagger back to her corner.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Simony reaches out to tag Kate, but Thea sneaks behind Hell Cat and pulls her down to the floor. Sentinel turns around only to be grabbed by Emma for the Payback Slam. Despite the pleading of those in attendance, Simony’s shoulders remain pinned to the mat by Bitch as the referee counts to three.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</strong></div><p></p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">With evil intentions in her eyes, Emma starts to pick up Simony from the mat, but Kate runs into the ring to prevent the impending assault. Before Kate can reach Bitch, Deborah clobbers Avatar from behind, sending Hell Cat down to the canvas. Emma hits Simony with another Payback Slam and then starts shouting instructions at her two minions.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Thea and Deborah climb over the ropes and start digging underneath the ring. Emma takes the chance to slap a dazed Hell Cat several times, “Kate, your time of judgment is at hand!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Young climbs back into the ring carrying a large wooden cross. Davis follows close behind, lugging a garbage can full of razor wire. Bitch helps Deborah set up the cross in the middle of the ring and then instructs her to hit Kate with the Devastator. Young complies, and Avatar’s neck snaps backwards as she slams into the mat.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Davis prances over to a just awakened Sentinel and sits on her back to prevent the Violent Violet from getting up. Lifting Simony’s head up by her purple hair, Thea points at Deborah placing Hell Cat against the cross, “You need to watch this poppet. This is what happens when you mess with us.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As Deborah lines Avatar up with the wooden planks, Emma turns to address the crowd, “Kate Avatar has hereby been found guilty by this judge and jury, and she must pay for her sins!” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Bitch grabs a roll of razor wire and starts wrapping the barbed metal around Kate’s arms. Deborah makes sure to press Hell Cat up against the wood, so that as Emma tightens the wire loops, the sharp edges dig into Avatar’s exposed skin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Once all four of Kate’s limbs are secured to the cross, Emma tops off her work by placing a circle of the barbed metal on Kate's head. Pushing the spiked crown down into Hell Cat’s temples, Emma whispers "You reap what you sow, Kate."</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Blood from the cuts on Avatar’s body drips down to the mat as Emma picks up a microphone and walks over to Simony, “There’s something Kate never told you, Sentinel. Something she doesn’t want any of you here to know.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Kate hanging lifeless in the background, Bitch crouches down and squeezes Sentinel’s face, “She knew what Honey was going to do, she knew she was going to steal that money. She knew, and she did nothing to stop it!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Sensing no reaction from Simony, Emma slams the Violent Violet’s head into the mat and tells Deborah to hit Sentinel with the Devastator. Young lifts Simony up with ease and powerbombs her into a crumpled heap.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The crowd, outside of some boos, sits in stunned silence, as the three members of Devastation stand with arms raised in the middle of their mayhem.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The segment grades just don't match the story your telling lol. I've been a silent reader and just wanted to pop in here to say thank you and to keep on trucking because you can only go up from here as far as grades.

Haha, thanks. I was actually planning on including something about the grades in my next roster update before I read this, so you have good timing. :D

Properly conveying the segments and matches to match the grades has been an issue I've run into while writing this. With DPW being at F popularity, I've been working off of the rule of thumb of (not successfully all the time):

F-, F, or F+ = Awful

E- = Okay

E or E+ = Good

D-, D, D+ = Great

C- or higher = Amazing

The way I've been looking at it is that the grades reflect the crowd response. With such small crowds, no matter how great something is, the response from 60 people can't match that of something average in front of 2,000.

I'm not too concerned with the grades right now as long as I reach the threshold for popularity increase, but that will change once/if DPW ever becomes eligible for regional battles.

It's a bit unusual, but since I have insider information on some matches, it seems a bit awkward to make my guesses public, even if I've been the only one guessing for the last couple of updates. I wonder where mvargus went? I think I'll send you my picks as a PM, if that's alright.

Totally okay with the PM for the picks. I didn't think about that before I posted the card, so I'm glad you did. :)

I'm hoping with mvargus that they are just on an extended vacation. I'm curious to see where they are with Kitsune Wrestling as our two dynasties continue to diverge.

Anyway, enjoying the updates as usual, interesting to see how things transpire. Emma Bitch is the boss heel, huh? It's quite a shoot invasion promo she pulls. Very intriguing. :)

Emma definitely has some resentment towards Kate from the closing of BSC, but her feelings are on the more restrained side compared to some of the BSC main eventers like Fuyuko Higa and Alicia Strong.

Kate hands are not clean when it comes to BSC's fall, so Emma's promos are based in truth. I would call these half-work, half-shoot in an attempt to show Phil Vibert's influence on the product, but the line is definitely being blurred. :D

Dark Phoenix Wrestling as of June 2017

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg

Kate Avatar sits at the desk in her office/home in the depths of Piper Casino, staring into a spreadsheet on her laptop computer. A mile away on the Las Vegas Strip, people are celebrating the Fourth of July, but Kate is too concerned with booking DPW's upcoming Venus Tournament to take a break from her work.

Bitter Harvest had not been as well received as the shows from earlier in the year, but Hell Cat saw this as a necessary step back in order to get Devastation over as a dangerous faction. This goal had been accomplished, but perhaps at the price of killing the golden goose in the form of Simony Sentinel.

Kate stares down at the scabs covering her arms and mumbles to herself, "Damn it Emma, you just had to make that wire as tight as you could."

Despite Emma Bitch's less than warm feelings towards Kate, Hell Cat knows that she can trust the 13-year veteran to take over the mantel of lead heel for the company. With Emma's in-ring ability and excellent mic skills, it did not take much to sell Phil Vibert on the plan.

"Phil, you should be right here with me figuring this out," Kate whispers to herself. Much to Hell Cat's surprise, Phil Vibert had come to their meeting the day before Bitter Harvest with a laundry list of booking ideas. The two talked late into the night, and Kate eventually offered Phil a 10% stake in DPW in return for retaining him as a behind-the-scenes consultant. Shockingly, the former owner of DAVE agreed to the deal on the spot, with the only added condition being that he receive a $350 fee any time he appears in front of the fans.

Of course, the show closing angle at Bitter Harvest had been Phil's idea. As Kate rubs the future scars on her right arm, she thinks about how she had protested this proposal at first, only to be talked into it by both Phil and Emma. Somehow, the mock crucifixion had not created a storm of controversy online or a mass exodus of sponsors, at least so far.

Kate knows that in the long-term, Emma's reveal that Hell Cat had been aware of Honey Golightly's situation before BSC closed will be the more important development. This information had only been known previously by those privy to the company's bankruptcy proceedings. Now that her culpability in BSC's fall is public knowledge, Kate is not sure how the crowd will react to her from now on.

One benefit of the deal with Vibert is that Kate now has access to Phil's analytical tools for evaluating the popularity of wrestlers. Based on social media activity and Youtube views, Hell Cat could now rank the roster when considering who should win the Venus Tournament. Kate stares harder at her laptop screen on which this information is displayed.

Is the diary of the previous game, the BSC one, online? I have some time to spare...

Ah, unfortunately no. It's all in my head. :D

I've thought about doing one, but the number of shows is higher (at least four per month) and I did not keep good records of the match types/road agent notes or the segment descriptions. It may be something I do if I get the time, maybe just posting the show screenshots and some brief descriptions for important storyline items.

There is a description of the status of BSC at the time the company closed on page 1 of this dynasty, but in terms of story, it doesn't tell much beyond prior title holders and members of stables.

<p>Venus Tournament Update and Big Thanks</p><p> </p><p>

First off, I just wanted to thank everyone who nominated/voted for this dynasty. It really was a surprise that I was nominated, but I am glad so many people are enjoying DPW's journey. I've been wanting to do something like this since I first played TEW 2010, so I hope you continue to have as much fun with this as I'm having.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm taking a page out of DarEatWorld's book and dividing the Venus Tournament into three parts: the pre-show, the quarterfinals, and the semi-finals/finals. Everything should be up by the end of tomorrow California time, but I figured I would split things up into more digestible bites since this show is probably going to end up as twice as long as a normal one all together.</p>

Claire and Laura are shown in the locker room, debating which one of them should enter the tournament. The two eventually decide to draw straws, and Laura wins, much to Claire’s obvious disappointment.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Watching this vignette is the highlight of the match for Natalie, as Laura makes quick work of DiMarco. Continuing her string of impressive performances, Flame makes the crowd feel every blow she lands on her opponent before connecting with a Flame Fire Kick and getting the pin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> Winner via Pinfall and Advancing to the Venus Tournament: Laura Flame</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Rating: E</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As the referee announces Laura as the winner of the previous match, Flame spies Natalie stirring on the mat. With a smile across her blood red lips, the protege of Hell Monkey walks over to her fallen foe and straddles DiMarco's back. With barely a struggle, Laura completely strips Natalie, to the hoots and hollers of a good majority of the crowd.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Laura holds up the clothes as if they were an animal pelt before flinging the ring gear aside and heading backstage. A clearly embarrassed DiMarco gets to her feet, covering her nakedness with her hands as best she can. Then something inside the 23-year-old clicks, and Natalie lets her arms drop down, causing the males in the audience to go wild as they get a full view of everything DiMarco has to offer. Natalie appears to enjoy the attention and blows kisses to the fans as she bounces up the ramp.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Segment Rating: D- </strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Pre-Show Dark Match #5: Amy Galaxy vs Gypsy Rose – Venus Tournament Qualifier</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span>http://i.imgur.com/uIOY5sq.jpg</span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>VS </strong></div><span>http://i.imgur.com/653dfkJ.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Amy and the debuting Rose have a tough time grabbing the attention of the crowd, as many of the fans are still loudly talking about the show they just received from Natalie. The two women make no effort to hide their disdain for each other, with stiff shots traded back and forth.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Surprisingly, with the first blood stipulation being her choice, Claire is the one that seems to have the hardest time adjusting to the rules of the match. In one sequence, Winters manages to get Ursula down to the mat and places her in the Ice Breaker. Claire wrenches her opponent’s arm backwards, only to realize that making Saez tap out will not win her this contest.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Frustrated, Winters removes the cover from one of the turnbuckles and drags Ursula over to the corner. Saez blocks the attempt to smash her face into the exposed steel and then counters by ramming Claire’s head into the turnbuckle. The crowd counts along as Ursula punishes Winters, but even ten blows to the forehead are not enough to draw any blood from Claire.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Her face full of lust for a victory, Ursula drops Claire with the Saez Splitter before heading out to the floor to grab a steel chair. Back in the ring, Saez cracks Winters across the spine with the chair, but when Ursula tries to hit Claire in the head, the Ice Woman ducks and knocks her down with a sweep to the legs.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Claire picks up the chair and slams the steel against Ursula’s chest. Saez wisely rolls out of the ring to recover, but Winters follows close behind. The fans buzz as the two wrestlers stand in front of them on the theater floor, the Ice Woman lifting the chair up with Ursula’s head in her sights. Saez puts her hands up to block the anticipated blow, but Claire tosses the steel chair to her foe instead.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Ursula catches the chair out of sheer instinct and Claire delivers a spinning heel kick that smashes the steel against Saez’s forehead. The resulting crunch echoes throughout the theater and Ursula crumples to the floor. As Winters lords over her fallen opponent, the referee spots that Saez has been busted open and calls for the bell. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Winner by Drawing First Blood: Claire Winters</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Rating: D-</strong></div><p></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41787" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Updated Bracket</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/1UMO13Q.png</span></p></div></blockquote>

You're getting some good matches out of this tournament. I expect a twist or two in the final segment of the show. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
