JuulDK
During the month of May a lot of rumors were heard about SmackDown going live again, and about a brand split happening. Rumors soon turned to an official announcement, saying that immediately following Extreme Rules there would be a WWE Network Special called WWE Draft 2016, where the new rosters would be drafted. At Extreme Rules, Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon came out and gave some details about the Draft. He then called his son and daughter to the ring and made the decision that going forward Stephanie will run RAW while Shane will run SmackDown. He ended up saying that info about the future of WWE has been put on WWE.com. Here’s what the info revealed: - WWE Superstars and WWE Main Event have been cancelled effective immediately. - A new female-only show will start airing on Friday nights, called WWE Pulse. - The Elimination Chamber Pay-Per View is back, and will be replacing WWE Fastlane as the Pay-Per View between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. - There will again be held qualifying matches for stuff like the Royal Rumble match, Elimination Chamber, Money In The Bank, King of the Ring etc., and Survivor Series will go back to favor the traditional Survivor Series Team vs. Team matches. - As already announced, the Cruiserweight Championship will return. This will happen as part of a new initiative, the first ever WWE Cruiserweight World Cup. The tournament is exclusively for wrestlers who are NOT currently signed to WWE or NXT. 16 superstars from 16 different countries of the world will enter this tournament, and the winner will leave as the brand new WWE Cruiserweight World Champion. The tournament will be exclusively on the WWE Network airing each Wednesday starting on July 6th and all the way to the final which will take place at Night of Champions. Last time the Cruiserweight Championship was around the majority of the fans felt like it was being treated like a joke, but that won’t happen this time as it’s been revealed that WWE will favor serious high flying action. The following WWE Draft special on WWE Network went extremely well. Stephanie and Shane were clearly done working together, and fought to get who they wanted and who they believe is right for the vision that each of them has for their brand and WWE. After a night of surprises where some questions were left unanswered, this is how the rosters looks. JuulDK
http://i715.photobucket.com/albums/ww160/JuulDK/Dynasty%20-%20Logos/RAW.jpg June – Week 1, 2016 Before the opening of the show, a video package is shown recapping last night's Extreme Rules Pay-Per View, and the following Draft Special on WWE Network. GRADE: B The RAW opening video plays, before Michael Cole, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Byron Saxton welcomes everyone to the first Monday Night RAW after last night's brand split. GRADE: B- Stephanie McMahon opens the show. Earlier today WWE.com reported that she would open tonight's RAW with an announcement regarding Money In The Bank, and that is exactly what she does. She announces that all titles matches and the Money In The Bank Ladder match will be RAW vs. SmackDown matches. Meaning that titles will be defended against an opponent from the opposite brand, and the Money In The Bank Ladder match will consist of three superstars from RAW and three superstars from SmackDown. Roman Reigns interrupts and ask who he will face at Money In The Bank. Stephanie says that he should worry about that another time because tonight he should worry more about his opponent in the main event, and then out on the stage comes the Dudley Boyz. Stephanie says that if Reigns is wondering which one of the Dudley's he’s facing, he will face both of them in a Handicap match. GRADE: B Money In The Bank Qualifier Jack Swagger vs. Sheamus In a more or less open contest Sheamus ended up getting the upper hand at the right time, which resulted in a Brogue Kick for "The Real American" before Sheamus got the pin to be the first to qualify for this year's Money In The Bank match. GRADE: C+ COMMERCIALS After the break we go backstage where Roman Reigns and The Usosare seen talking. The Usos says that they've got Reigns’ back, but Reigns says he’s got it. Stephanie McMahon comes by and tells The Usos that they should listen to Reigns, and by the way they have a match as well, and it’s next. GRADE: D+ The Usos vs. The Ascension The Ascension tried to get the upper hand by using their strength advantage, but in the end a Superkick from Jey to Viktor to set up the Samoan Splash from Jimmy got the win for the Uso-twins. GRADE: C+ Post match The Usos celebrate their win, but is suddenly attacked by SmackDown's The Vaudevillains! Aiden English and Simon Gotch knocks The Usos down quickly, and after exposing of Jimmy they connect the Whirling Dervish on Jey before leaving. GRADE: C- COMMERCIALS After the commercials replay of The Vaudevillains attacking The Usos is shown, while the commentators talk about what happened. GRADE: C- Alicia Fox vs. Emma Emma got the upper hand first and tauned Fox and the fans, but eventually Fox managed to gain more and more momentum. In the end though, a small distraction from Emma's partner in crime Dana Brooke was enough to create an opening for Emma, and seconds later Fox tapped in the Emma Lock. GRADE: D- We then head backstage again, and JoJo is standing by with The Miz. JoJo asks Miz about having to face a SmackDown superstar for the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank, and JoJo also mentions that that means that if Miz loses he won’t see the title again for at least two months because of the brand split. Miz says that it doesn't matter who he’ll face, because the title stays with him on RAW. GRADE: B The commentators acknowledges what The Miz just said and graphics on the screen is shown while they announce a Fatal 4-Way tomorrow night on the first live edition of Tuesday Night SmackDown to decide who will face The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler. GRADE: C+ COMMERCIALS Money In The Bank Qualifier Tyler Breeze vs. Sami Zayn A surprisingly near-great match, and although Fandango tried to distract Zayn from ringside, Zayn managed to connect with the Helluva Kick and get the win to advance. GRADE: C Replay of the match is shown while the commentators talk about it. They present the graphics showing that there’s now two qualified for the Money In The Bank match, and that the third and final RAW competitor will be found later. GRADE: D+ COMMERCIALS Post commercial interview backstage with The Dudleys. They're asked about tonight’s main event Handicap match, and they say that it’s not their first dance with Roman Reigns, but tonight they’ll make sure that Reigns gets reminded of who they are. GRADE: B+ Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth A short but decent match ends up with a What's Up that secures R-Truth the win. GRADE: C- We return and Tom Phillips is standing by with Sami Zayn in the backstage area. Phillips asks about Zayn qualifying for the Money In The Bank Ladder match, but as Zayn gets ready to answer he is suddenly attacked by Sheamus who beats him down while screaming at Zayn asking him who he thinks he is, and if he thinks he can win the Money In The Bank match. Security ends up rushing in to get Sheamus off of Zayn. GRADE: B- COMMERCIALS Post commercials replay of Sami Zayn getting attacked by Sheamus. GRADE: B Heath Slater comes out for a MITB qualifying match, and talks about how the One Man Band is back and ready to go on tour. GRADE: D+ Then surprisingly out comes John Cena to return after injury, to be Slater’s opponent. GRADE: B+ Money In The Bank Qualifier Heath Slater vs. John Cena This one looked like easy pickings for the 15-time World Champion John Cena, but Slater really surprised everyone in this match, including Cena seemingly, by hanging in there. Slater even managed to get some offense going on multiple occasions, and even came half a second from getting the huge upset win as he connected with his Smash Hit on Cena and kept him down for a 2½-count. In the end though Cena planted Slater with an Attitude Adjustment, and put Slater away. GRADE: C+ Post match, John Cena gives Heath Slater a look of surprise before nodding in recognition of Slater's performance and showing of heart and determination. GRADE: B- COMMERCIALS As we return from commercials, replay of what happened earlier when The Usos was attacked by The Vaudevillains is shown and the commentators talk about it. GRADE: C- We head backstage where JoJo is standing by with Roman Reigns. JoJo mentions that The Usos told Reigns earlier that they have his back, but then they were attacked by The Vaudevillains. Reigns says that as he told his cousins, he’s got this. Reigns says that Samoans are proud people and his cousins will get back up and handle business, just like he will now. GRADE: B 2-on-1 Handicap The Dudley Boyz vs. Roman Reigns Both Reigns and The Dudley Boyz had their share of momentum in this match, as they action went back and forth on more than one occasion. Towards the end it seemed like The Dudleys stopped caring about winning as they picked up steel chairs, but before they got to use them Enzo & Cass' music hit and out came Big Cass. Cass caught the attention of both Dudleys from the ramp, just enough for Reigns to get to his feet. Bubba turned around and walked right into a Superman Punch which sent hi through the ropes, and Reigns then quickly Speared D-Von and covered him to get the win. GRADE: B- OVERALL GRADE: B- Extra Info Dana Brooke was brought before the Wrestler’s Court for failing to pick up her share of a bar tab. Judge Finlay found her guilty and sentenced her to buy drinks for everyone after the show. (Result: Dana has improved her behavior)
JuulDK
http://i715.photobucket.com/albums/ww160/JuulDK/Dynasty%20-%20Logos/SMACKDOWN.jpg June – Week 1, 2016 Shane McMahon comes out to open the first live SmackDown of the new era. Shane talks about his sister's announcement on RAW, and says that tonight we will find out all three SmackDown contestants in the Money In The Bank. He also mentions tonight's Fatal 4-Way to decide who will face The Miz at Money In The Bank for the Intercontinental Championship, between Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler. AJ Styles interrupts and says he should face RomanReigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank. Shane says that he had actually planned for Styles to face Reigns, but now that Styles so rudely interrupted him he wants AJ to prove in tonight’s main event that he’s ready, against an unknown opponent. And if Styles win then he’s got his title shot against Reigns. GRADE: B- The commentators talk about the announcements of AJ Styles vs. an unnamed opponent in tonight's main event, and also the Fatal 4-Way for the #1 Contendership to the Intercontinental Championship. GRADE: C+ Money In The Bank Qualifier Zack Ryder vs. Chris Jericho An good opening contenst. Ryder put up a great fight, but Jericho ended up connecting with the Codebreaker to get the win. GRADE: B- Graphic shows that Chris Jericho joins the already qualified RAW superstars Sheamus, Sami Zayn and John Cena in the Money In The Bank Ladder match. GRADE: B- COMMERCIALS Back from commercials we go backstage where Renee Young is standing by with Dolph Ziggler. Renee asks about tonight's Fatal 4-Way, and Ziggler talks about getting his hands on Baron Corbin yet again tonight and on top of that he has the chance to earn an opportunity for the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank, and he intends to steal the show. GRADE: B- Pre-match replay of The Vaudevillains attacking The Usos on RAW is shown GRADE: C- Two Locals vs. The Vaudevillains Easy win for The Vaudevillains with Aiden English getting the pin after the Whirling Dervish. GRADE: D The Club is seen backstage talking to each other. AJ Styles says that it doesn't matter who’s put in front of him tonight. He will prove that he’s phenomenal, and at Money In The Bank he takes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with him to SmackDown. GRADE: C COMMERCIALS Again we go backstage to Renee Young, and this time she's standing by with the United States Champion Rusev and his fiancee Lana. Renee asks Rusev about facing a RAW superstar for the United States Championship at Money In The Bank, but Lana answers for Rusev. Lana says that Rusev demands to know who he’ll be facing, so next week they will both be at RAW and they won’t leave until they know who will be crushed by Rusev at Money In The Bank. GRADE: C- Money In The Bank Qualifier Kevin Owens vs. Kalisto This one was a very well fought match. Owens used his size advantage, but Kalisto also got to utilize his speed and athleticism. Towards the end Kalisto went for his Salida del Sol, but Owens managed to hold on to the ropes. Kalisto landed on his feet and charged Owens, but Owens saw it coming and managed to hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb to get the win to advance. GRADE: B COMMERCIALS Replay of Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens qualifying for the Money In The Bank match earlier is shown. GRADE: B- Graphic shows that only one spot is available in the Money In The Bank Ladder match. GRADE: B- Charlotte comes to the ring and talks about still being the Women’s Champion, and doing it by herself after kicking her spotlight-stealing father to the curb. Natalya interrupts, but Charlotte just laughs at her for being out there since she can’t challenge for the title being that Charlotte has to face someone from RAW. Natalya says that that doesn’t prevent her from beating her tonight. Charlotte declines the challenge, but Shane McMahon comes out and makes the match and says it will start now. GRADE: C- Charlotte vs. Natalya Good women's match here. Halfway through the match Charlotte tried leaving, but Natalya prevented her. Charlotte then tried rolling Natalya up and grabbing the ropes for leverage, but Natalya kicked out. In the end Natalya got Charlotte in the Sharpshooter, and Charlotte decided to quickly tap. GRADE: C- COMMERCIALS After the commercials replay of Natalya’s win is shown while the commentators talk about the fact that Natalya just made the Women’s Champion tap out. Jerry Lawler mentions that that means nothing, and Maruro Ranallo adds that it means even less should the title actually switch brands at Money In The Bank. GRADE: D- We head backstage where Tom Phillips is ready with Cesaro as his guest. Phillips asks Cesaro about the Fatal 4-Way, and Cesaro says that he would like nothing more than to get his hands on The Miz, shutting him up and taking the Intercontinental Championship back with him to SmackDown. Alberto Del Rio walks in and says that tonight Cesaro will be left speechless when Del Rio leaves with the Intercontinental Championship opportunity, but Del Rio says that Cesaro should at least be happy that Del Rio will bring the title to SmackDown. GRADE: C+ Money In The Bank Qualifier Titus O’Neil vs. Dean Ambrose Respectful showing between these two, but also a hard fought match. Titus tried capitalizing on his strength advantage, but fell eventually victim to Dirty Deeds which gave Ambrose the win and the last spot in the Money In The Bank Ladder match. GRADE: C+ The commentators talk about the match while graphic shows that the Money In The Bank Ladder match is now full. GRADE: B COMMERCIALS Backstage we see the cameras come up to Shane McMahon and Renee Young is seen. Renee asks Shane if he can shed some light on who AJ Styles' opponent for the main event is, but Shane just answers that it will be a tough challenge for “The Phenomenal One” and to make sure that Styles shows what he can do by himself, Shane bans The Club from ringside. GRADE: C+ Fatal 4-Way for the #1 Contendership to the Intercontinental Championship Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler High stakes and bad history in this match. Ziggler and Corbin ended up taking each other out of the equation by brawling all over, and then it was up to the last two. In the end Cesaro connected on Del Rio with the Neutralizer to win. GRADE: C+ Replay of the great Fatal 4-Way is shown, and graphic shows that Cesaro will face The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank. GRADE: C+ COMMERCIALS When we return from commercial break, a replay of the opening segment is shown. GRADE: C AJ Styles comes to the ring and talks about his time in WWE since debuting at Royal Rumble, and about how he, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson beat down Roman Reigns after their match at Extreme Rules this past Sunday, and that the last image that was shown before Extreme Rules went off the air was The Club standing over Roman Reigns. GRADE: B- Shane McMahon comes out and announces AJ Styles’ opponent to be “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. GRADE: C AJ Styles vs. Mark Henry Mark Henry had a clear strength advantage and managed to keep Styles grounded for most of the match, but in the end a distraction in form of The Club’s music hitting caused Henry to take his eyes off the ball for a couple of seconds, and when he turned around he walked right into The Phenomenal Forearm from Styles who then got the pin. GRADE: C+ Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson comes out and The Club celebrates AJ Styles' win, while the commentators hypes the fact that Styles will now once again be taking on Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank. GRADE: B OVERALL GRADE: C+ Extra Info Paul Heyman broke the dress code by turning up in regular clothes. (Punishment: Slap on the wrist. Result: The incident was handled) Byron Saxton lifted the locker room with impressions of some of his colleagues.

She introduces the Pulse announcing team to be Jerry “The King” Lawler and Renee Young, and then introduces the General Manager of the Pulse-show, none other than Hall of Famer and 4-time Women’s Champion Lita.</span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>GRADE: C-</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> Lita goes on the mic to talk about how amazing is it for the girls to get their own weekly show while also performing on RAW and SmackDown, and how excited she is to have been given the chance to be a part of it.</span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>GRADE: D</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> Suddenly she is interrupted by Emma and Dana Brooke who comes out to “welcome” Lita. They tell Lita that a lot has changed since she last paid WWE a visit. Suddenly the Women’s Champion Charlotte’s music hits and she comes out to let Lita, and everyone else for that matter, know that Lita might be the General Manager of Pulse but Charlotte holds the title that really matters. Natalya’s music hits and she comes out and tells Charlotte that the only thing that matters is that Natalya made Charlotte tap out on the first live edition of SmackDown. Emma and Dana points out that it’s their time and that there are three of them and one of her, and then starts to surround her. Suddenly Alicia Fox and Becky Lynch comes running to the ring to even up the numbers. Charlotte seems to back off and eventually so does Emma and Dana. Lita makes her first decision, and books a 6-Women Tag Team main event.</span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>GRADE: D+</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41823" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div style="text-align:center;"><div><span style="color:#800080;">Paige vs. Summer Rae</span><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> Summer Rae got some momentum going on a couple of occasions, but Paige showed that Pulse could be her house now as she hit the Ram-Paige for the win</span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>GRADE: D</strong></span></p><p></p></div></div><div></div></blockquote><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><em>COMMERCIALS</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> Replay of the opening segments is shown.</span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>GRADE: D+</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#800080;"> Backstage we see Charlotte, Emma and Dana Brooke talking.
