Losing Title Prestige

TEW '16 is my first TEW game and I love it. It's so much more immersive than EWR, and allows me much more freedom. So I'm playing TGA 87 and I changed up history and had Andre beat Hogan at WM III. Since then he's been feuding with Piper for the title and has defended the belt 4 times, but the prestige keeps falling. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help?

My A prestige title went up to A* after a B rated title match. B is amazing for me as a regional promotion, but it's certainly not higher than A.</p>

<p>True, it may not be as black and white, as I said, but the match score matters, yes. </p><p>

And a guy like Andre the Giant will never pull off epic match grades, therefore the title prestige will certainly suffer with him as champion. He is popular, yes, but even for a pop > per based fed, performance still plays a role in match grades.</p>

Interesting, it just dropped to B when it changed hands to a less over worker than previous champ. I wonder if the person holding it factors into it (proportional to the company size).

The prestige is how it's viewed in your company. Put a title on a main eventer, in a hot storyline with another main eventer, and have it defended in main event matches, and the prestige will go up because it is booked to look important.

 

Adam has said it has very little, if anything, to do with ratings.

Yea, I'm CZCW and my tag titles are set as floating and were like 70 prestige the start, Remmy Sky and Fox Mask two ME guy held it for a year and for the past few months the title prestige is at 100,

 

They are both around mid/late 60's in pop and have not Main evented shows for the titles.

 

Their matches are always better than my feds pop which is perhaps why the prestige has went up.

 

I have a theory that... 100 prestige = 100% of your pop

 

If you are regional and your pop is 45, but your Top title is only 80 prestige, if you keep getting 45's in title matches then th prestige will match. That way as our pop grows the match ratings have to improve to keep the prestige high

Atleast that's how I understand it.</p>

When I was regional my Main Title and my tag titles, which were floating, all stayed at 100. Once I hit Cult they stay around 85-95. So the pop theory seems to be true in my case. Like I had the highest indy belt, but now I'm with the big boys and my belt lowers in value.
