2 months in... too many retirements (Current Day Mod)

I don't actually know if it's the mod or the game itself but it feels like since I started the game I am currently on, the retirements are coming left right and center. Everyone seems to be 'Leaving the Wrestling Business' and it's a little frustrating.

 

I know a lot of old timers are probably on their way to retirement but it does come across a little unrealistic that they all suddenly retire together within a 2 month span.

 

Is anyone else getting this as well?

Depending on the mod, a ported version going back to 2013 may be 3 years old depending on when it was last updated. A mod created for 2010 and carried through may be <span style="text-decoration:underline;">6</span> years old. </p><p> </p><p>

A lot of workers will have been on their last legs then and obviously no younger in the updated version, but the mod-maker may have left them in because someone might want to use them - workers on big contracts can postpone retirement to keep coining in the dough, after all.</p><p> </p><p>

Even so, the early days of any mod often does see older workers deciding to turn it in in higher numbers. There's no longer a hard and fast retirement age, but it become much more likely past 60, from memory, so workers in their late 50s upwards can go at any time.</p>

The first two years in any mod will have a similar issues as the game goes from set-up and spends time balancing itself. Given that retirement ages are generated at the start of each game and that wrestlers tend to wrestle on beyond those ages, the first couple of years will see people active beyond their generated retirement age... and so the first two years will see them retiring.

 

After that, the rate balances out to it's natural level.

This is why you adjust the age settings. the relevant age to 65 is a must in all mods to me. I actually put them all at max. So you know young people have a chance to develop there skills
