JamHead Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 Has anyone else played as WCW in this mod and been unable to renew their PPV contract with Time Warner? I keep getting a message saying Turner Broadcasting won't allow me to sign a contract with any PPV broadcaster because of clashing coverage. Turner Broadcasting isn't letting you sign with them because Time Warner isn't set to be owned by Turner Broadcasting. In reality it was the other way around, but for the case of the mod you need to set Turner Broadcasting to be owned by Time Warner. The 0 thing didn't seem to have any effect on player ran companies. It may, but I have ran a game for a while with 0 on my own. I could not, however, renew the contract with a 0, but I was able to renew it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beejus Posted July 8, 2016 Share Posted July 8, 2016 Yeah. Legitimately, who was he going to give it to? Shawn and Diesel getting the belts in August was pretty much the only team left with a chance. Otherwise most of the Headshrinkers' title defenses by this time were against semi-teams like Yoko and Crush and M$C setups. The only other teams they really had were the Gunns and MoM. Hive Posted July 8, 2016 Author Share Posted July 8, 2016 The Smoking Gunns was the only non-WCW tag team I was aware of existed at the time, and I really dug them. Not quite as much as the unbeatable Stars 'n Stripes, naturally, but I liked them a lot. And now something else: the next release of the mod is taking longer than I had initially expected. This is because the kind and helpful TsuMirren gave me a great deal of data on the British Isles which I am currently adapting to fit the mod. Once completed, the British Isles will -for the first time - actually be playable and interesting, with a life of it's own. I look forward to this very much. Sabu is the holder for an entire year -Misawa is wrestler of the year 2 years in a row 1996 -Hogan wasn't resigned, he's currently unemployed -A company called AWW opened and signed a great looking roster, Greg Valentine is their champ -The heavyweight champs seem normal again, Taker for WWF, Lex for WCW and Sandman for ECW -Mighty Inoue is inexplicably Triple Crown champ -Shinya Hashimoto is wrestler of the year Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jody Hamiltion is CEO and booker of WCW. Hawk is their champ. Jerry Lawler is the WWF world champ and Steve Austin has been touring with NJPW for 2 years. Small price for a large game world. </p><p> </p><p> On a side note. I've always wondered whether a larger game world equals more guys getting over via title wins and raised exposure.
