SNP - The Thistle in the Ashes.

Recommended Posts

<p>I really enjoyed the last Thistle Talk post. The Questioning Kollopy part in particular. The way you write feels really natural and when I was reading the Q&A, it felt like an actual Q&A if that makes sense. Especially the question about Mark Carnie, like, you kind of answer it, but kind of edge around it like I imagine a real employee would do. The Black Lions write up was ace stuff too.</p><p> </p><p>

1. The Northern Lights Vs. <strong>Hugh Echoes & Bret Heartbreak</strong> (Non title, Cage)</p><p>

<em>Tough call and there's no doubt to be some kind of Black Lions shenanigans, but I think they take the non-title loss here. Also think it sets up for a title match where Hugh/Bret can take a loss.</em></p><p> </p><p>

2. <strong>Black Hole Son</strong> Vs. Neville Jones Vs. Rohan Kirchner w/Kourtney</p><p>

<em>I feel like we could be seeing all of Black Lions holding the belts at the same time and this could be what B.H.S. needs to be in title contention.</em></p><p> </p><p>

3. <strong>Cobra</strong> Vs. Lenny Mochin (Cage)</p><p>

<em>I honestly could see Lenny tying it up, but I also see this being the end to their little series with a big Cobra win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

4. <strong>Jimmi Addams w/Kourtney</strong> Vs. Matthew Macks w/ Kitty Katz</p><p>

<em>While I feel bad for thinking both members of Na Fianna will lose, I have a feeling this could potentially set up for Jimmi vs. Konrad?</em></p><p> </p><p>

5. <strong>Konrad Makinen w/Mark Carnie</strong> Vs. Padraig O'Hearne w/Kitty Katz</p><p>

<em>See above, but I feel a bit more confident with this win though.</em></p><p> </p><p>

6. Maximum Destruction w/Laurel Wreath Vs. <strong>Meathead McAullie</strong></p><p>

<em>Liking Meathead's chances and I also feel he could play a big part in taking down Black Lions, so he'll need the momentum if that's the case.</em></p><p> </p><p>

7. <strong>Notorious F.R.E.A.K. & Mystery Partner</strong> Vs. The Misfits w/Khloe</p><p>

<em>I've learned to never bet against a mystery partner.</em></p><p> </p><p>

8. The Creepy Crawlies w/Mark Carnie Vs. The Funke Bunch Vs. <strong>The Golden Sons</strong></p><p>

<em>Honestly I think this was the toughest one to call, more than the main event, I could see any team winning here, but I'm giving the edge to the Golden Sons</em></p>

5. Konrad Makinen w/Mark Carnie Vs. <strong>Padraig O'Hearne </strong>w/Kitty Katz</p><p>

Alessandro Caesar’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with manager Khloe. He demands a microphone and delivers a pointed address to Dwayne Dark,</p><p>

<em>“Last month, at Hardcore War, I showed every one of you what I can-ah do. I am-ah ‘The Roman Gladiator’, the descendent of-a emperors and warriors. I run Axl Grease outta SNP. Dwayne Dark, he is-a the Hardcore champion but he has-a never fought anybody as strong or as tough as me. I am-a always ready to fight anyone, anywhere, any time. So I know you’re back there Dwayne and I say you shoulda come down here now and defend your title if you’re man enough to stand up to the challenge.”</em></p><p>

Khloe has a few words to add of her own,</p><p>

<em>“My team and I are sick of being under-estimated and written off. Last month we showed everybody what we can do. Dismiss us at your peril!”</em></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Dwayne Dark (Champion) Vs. Alessandro Caesar w/Khloe (Hardcore match for the </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hardcore title</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Dwayne%20Dark_zps0k4rpijc.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Alessandro%20Giordano_zpsveieixus.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Khloe_zpse3ulqitj.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Dwayne Dark makes his way to ringside to answer the challenge. The two men square up as Lucy Avatar rushes to ringside. She barely has time to get the bell rung and the competitors start to trade blows back and forth. Neither man can gain the upper hand until Dark jabs a finger into Caesar’s eye. The big Italian reels backward and this give Dark the opportunity to take control. He drives a knee into his opponent’s stomach and when he doubles over, smashes an elbow to the back of his head. Caesar is on his knees now and Dark locks him into a camel clutch, wrenching back and forth for maximum pain.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

With Caesar clearly unwilling to submit, Dark changes tack, hauling his foe back to his feet before whipping him hard into the ropes and flooring him with a clothesline. He goes for the same move again but this time Caesar ducks beneath the move, bounces off the opposite ropes and hammers into Dark with a big shoulder tackle. The Hardcore champion is down and Caesar is onto him in a flash. He rocks Dark with a series of clubbing blows and knees to the body. His attempt at a pin are answered by a quick kick out by The Black Lions member however. The Hardcore Champion is nothing if not resilient and he regains the momentum with a blatant low blow. Khloe is beside herself with rage but, as Lucy Avatar explains, this is a hardcore match and there are no disqualifications. Dwayne Dark needed no reminder of this but he rolls outside the ring looking for something to give him an even greater advantage. While he’s searching Caesar has struggled back to his feet and goes after him. Caesar hits an axe handle from behind and tosses Dark bodily over the ring steps. He attempts to smash Dark’s head into the steps but the Hardcore champion blocks the move and turns it around onto Caesar instead.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Dark kicks Caesar on the knee before dragging him back into the ring. He applies a one leg boston crab, still working over the same knee. Caesar fights back with a couple of hard shots but Dark takes control by kicking the same knee again. He goes to throw Caesar over the ropes to the floor and the Italian gets tied up badly. He neck is caught between the top two ropes and he struggles for purchase and breath all at the same time. Dark is never one to let an opportunity slide. A search under the ring, while Khloe frantically tries to free Caesar, sees him emerge with a steel chair and a wicked smirk. Khloe is desperately trying to release Caesar now but is forced to flee before Dark brings his weapon to bear on her. With a surgical precision Dwayne Dark attacks Caesar’s already damaged knee, striking it three times with the chair before tossing it aside and roughly freeing Caesar from the ropes. He hauls him to the centre of the ring, hits his Darkness Falls swinging neckbreaker finisher and scores the 3 count at 10’30 to retain his Hardcore title. It hasn’t been the match people may have hoped for, Dark appeared off form, Caesar looked exhausted by the end and the chemistry was poor between both men but Dwayne Dark will be delighted to have endured the tough challenge of the big newcomer.</span></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Jimmi Addams w/Kourtney Vs. Matthew Macks w/ Kitty Katz</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Jimmi%20Addams_zpsnk8qnwtp.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kourtney_zps1ux92wfp.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Matthew%20Macks_zpstnycjywu.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">From the outset Kourtney and Jimmy Addams are clearly frustrated at being bumped to the pre-show again and this was evident from the aggressive manner in which Addams went after Macks. Addams' suave demeanour makes it easy to forget that there is an accomplished brawler and hardcore wrestler underneath the flash suits and cultured tones. If Macks had forgotten he was getting a stern reminder now. Repeated blows to the body kept Macks from getting the space to utilise his own patented offence. With Macks down, Addams scaled the middle turnbuckle and bellowed out, “what more do you people want from me? I am better than anybody you’ve seen here – ANYBODY!” The crowd heckles and jeers him and when Kourtney berates them they return to their old favourite, “KOURTNEY SWALLOWS!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Matthew Macks takes advantage of the distraction to gingerly pull himself back to his feet. He runs and plants a flying knee in the back of Addams before dragging him off the turnbuckle and unloading a barrage of stiff kicks that leave his foe reeling. The crowd are starting to get behind the energetic Irishman but his comeback is stopped cold when Addams pulls him into a headbutt which he follows up quickly with a hip toss and a quick knee drop to the throat. Thrown against the ropes Macks ducks under a clothesline and performs a leapfrog to avoid a back body drop but at the third time of asking Addams shows deceptive speed to seize Macks in a sleeper hold.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Macks tries frantically to escape but Addams only sinches the hold in tighter. Macks inches towards the ropes but before he gets there Jimmi Addams pulls another trick out of his bag, releasing the hold and, before anybody has a chance to react, hitting Macks with an explosive Spike DDT. Lucy Avatar could have counted to 10 if needs be but 3 is enough and Jimmi Addams collects a big scalp at 8’13 to end an exciting, impressive match.</span></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SNP Out Of It 2018</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you on behalf of everybody here at Scottish National Promotions to… Out Of It 2018! I am Manny Morhan and I am joined at ringside tonight by my broadcast colleagues, “The Alchemist” Jackie Goldstein, Karma Kollopy and 847 screaming SNP fanatics. Tonight we have a show to make the mouth water. I’ve said it before but it bears repeating… folks, it's gonna be a hell of a ride, hold onto your ticket and strap yourself in!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> “The Man” is telling it like it is! We have got a hell of a night ahead of us. Seven matches to look forward to here, we’re gonna find out who Notorious F.R.E.A.K.’s new tag-team partner in a match against The Misfit’s. There’s also a three-team tag team match that I guarantee you is going to raise the roof. The Funke Bunch, The Golden Sons and The Creepy Crawlies – SNP is THE place to be for top drawer tag-team wrestling. Most importantly of all, tonight is going to see the first edition of the newest, and greatest, talk show in the history of professional wrestling! Presented by none other than me, “The Alchemist” Jackie Goldstein, we are going to get to grips with The Black Lions and see exactly where they see themselves here in SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> I’ve gotta say that I’m looking forward to seeing what they have to say myself. Let’s not forget though that we will be closing out the show with two Cage Matches, the first another battle in the war between Cobra and “The Brewin’ Storm” Lenny Mochin. Even that however will have to play second fiddle to a main event that is an anticipated as anything we’ve ever done here in SNP. Four men in one ring, SNP Tag Team champions The Northern Lights up against the pairing of Bret Heartbreak and SNP King of Scotland Hugh Echoes. A match that was born in last month’s main event at Hardcore War when The Black Lions gate-crashed the Echoes/Heartbreak finale. Tonight’s stipulation only adds to the intrigue. If Echoes and Heartbreak win they will receive a Tag Team title shot but if The Northern Lights emerge victorious one of them will get the opportunity to tussle with Hugh Echoes for his King of Scotland title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan: </strong>Right now though, there is a lovely, young lady in the ring getting ready to get us going here.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Kitty Katz has been handed the job of firing t-shirts into the crowd today and it is fair to say that she is doing a hell of a job. Naturally both provocative and beautiful, the young Irish woman puts Matthew Macks' defeat in the pre-show behind her to make every movement seem suggestive and sensual all at once. The crowd are in the palm of her hand as she moves around the ring with a wide smile on her face. “Thank you Kitty!” chants reverberate around the arena before giving way to, “O’Hearne is really lucky, O’Hearne is really lucky!” Katz gives a genuine laugh at that before blowing a kiss in each direction in turn before making her way back to the dressing room.</p><p>

<strong>Angle Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Damn but that girl makes me proud to be Irish! That will not be easy to follow but if anybody can give it a go it’s the three men who are going to be representing our Dragon Lightweight Division in the first bout of the evening!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Black Hole Son Vs. Neville Jones Vs. Rohan Kirchner w/Kourtney</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Carl%20Edwards_zpseg1bbw7c.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Neville%20Jones_zpscprg3ctu.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Rohan%20Kirchner_zpswdtdpytg.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kourtney_zps1ux92wfp.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">The early moments in this one see B.H.S. and Rohan Kirchner combine their efforts to work over Neville Jones while the SNP faithful amuse themselves by chanting, “this is racist!” The solidarity is short-lived however as B.H.S. tosses Kirchner over the top rope and tries to score a quick pinfall. Jones still has the energy to kick out forcefully. Kirchner, using cat-like agility lands on his feet and quickly returns to the ring where he shoves B.H.S. hard, causing ‘The Jackal Amongst Lions’ to shove back. Both men are right up in each other’s face when they’re surprised by Neville Jones who clobbers them both with a clothesline to break up their faceoff. Jones has his work cut out to keep both men down but he sticks to his task. A flying forearm sends B.H.S. scuttling outside and while he’s not there Jones is all over Kirchner like a rash, lightening quick offence leading to a cover attempt that B.H.S. breaks up. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Jones and B.H.S exchange blows and kicks while Kourtney, finally on the main card now, screams at Kirchner to get up. A leg sweep puts Jones on his back but he rolls quickly to one side to avoid the following elbow drop attempt. Jones kips up and throws a kicks at B.H.S’s face but, from a kneeling position, the Black Lion slips to one side and avoids contact himself. Kirchner enters the fray again, rolling Neville Jones up quickly from behind but Black Hole Son breaks up the move even as Jones kicks out again. Kirchner and Jones continue to struggle as B.H.S. takes a few seconds to recover himself. Kirchner rakes his hands across Neville’s face, boots him in the stomach and then hits him with an axe kick. B.H.S. charges at Kirchner then but is tossed over the top rope to the floor for his troubles. As he turns his attention back to Jones he’s rolled up quickly by the Welshman. Lucy Avatar drops down to make the count. 1 – 2 – KICK OUT! Both men are back up on their feet quickly but it’s Kirchner who pulls the trigger fastest, leaving Jones glassy eyed and on the flat of his back with a perfectly timed superkick.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Kourtney is ecstatic as Rohan Kirchner makes his way to the top turnbuckle. The 450 splash is on everybody’s mind as he balances himself. B.H.S. emerges at the last moment though, shoving Kirchner from his perch to the mat before he can take flight. B.H.S. leaps to the top rope and aims for Jones himself with a big splash. Jones lifts his knees up and takes all the wind out of the B.H.S. whose own velocity costs him dearly. It’s a pivotal moment. B.H.S. is sucking air desperately, Jones is still groggy after that superkick and Kirchner’s heavy landing has left a mark on him too. Kourtney is still screaming instructions though they’re not much more detailed than, “Get up Rohan, GET UP!” B.H.S. takes refuge in the corner as the other two return to trading stiff punches and elbows. Kourtney slides into the ring, steel chair in hand, as Lucy Avatar checks on the prone B.H.S. Kourtney swings wildly at Neville Jones, cracking ‘The Prince of Wales’ across the back causing him to drop like the proverbial sack of potatoes. Kourtney is gleeful as she slips back out of the ring but her smile doesn’t last long. Black Hole Son smells opportunity and leaps back to his feet, hitting a vicious backstabber on Kirchner before finishing Jones off completely with his Merseyslide to pick up the win at 8’39. He has been the least impressive of the three bell-to-bell and their collective attempts to work the already hot crowd have disappointed somewhat but Black Hole Son will care not at all as he continues to build momentum.</span></p><p>

<strong>Match rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Black Hole Son emerges triumphant and you would have to believe that this victory puts him in a really strong position to challenge for Augustus Bumblescoop’s Dragon Lightweight championship.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> It is a very competitive division but after beating not just one but two former champions tonight, Black Hole Son is making a real case for himself.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Enough! Enough! It’s time for AuDibles, this is going to be the best!</p><p> </p><p>

Jackie Goldstein hurries into the ring, microphone in hand and an expression of pure delight on his face. Black Hole Son, still breathing heavily from his exertions, awaits him and takes a microphone of his own as Goldstein makes the introductions. </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong><em> Tonight is the biggest night in the young history of SNP. We’ve all see a lot of memorable things happen in this company but tonight, tonight is a night that you will be telling your grandchildren about. Every one of you people here tonight, in a record SNP crowd, will be able to say that you were here when, for the first time ever, “The Alchemist” Jackie Goldstein presented the greatest talk show in the history of professional wrestling. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to AuDibles! </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

My guests tonight have been a force here in SNP almost since the day that we opened the doors. Ladies and gentlemen of the SNP Army, I give you “The Jackal Among Lions” Black Hole Son, the SNP Hardcore champion Dwayne Dark and the SNP Tag Team champions The Northern Lights, “The Bad Man” Alton Vicious and “The Dude” Riddick Jordan. I give you, The Black Lions!</em></p><p> </p><p>

The music hits and the rest of The Black Lions make their way to the ring, all wearing championship gold. Each man takes one turnbuckle and, mirroring the end of last month’s Hardcore War event, glower out at the crowd. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> <em>Gentlemen, I’d like to ask if I may, what was the thinking behind last month’s invasion of the match between SNP King of Scotland Hugh Echoes and Bret Heartbreak?</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alton Vicious:</strong> <em>The first point I want to make perfectly clear, to you, to Echoes and Heartbeak and to everybody else is that it was nothing personal. It’s really, really simple but I’m going to speak as slowly and as basically as I possibly can so that even the Scots can understand. The Black Lions are the most dominant force in wrestling. Look around this ring Goldstein, tell me what you see?</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> <em>I’m not sure what you mean…</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dwayne Dark:</strong> <em>I’ll spell it out for you. I, Dwayne Dark, am the greatest Hardcore wrestler in the history of SNP. The Northern Lights are the greatest Tag Team in the history of SNP which they proved by crushing Na Fianna at Hardcore War. My boy, Black Hole Son, is about to become the greatest Dragon Lightweight champion of all time once he gets his hands on that dope Bumblescoop.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Riddick Jordan:</strong> <em>And I am the greatest King of Scotland any of you people have ever seen. Better than Meathead McAullie, better than Hugh Echoes… better than Roly Muckletruck.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Some jeering follows this and a scattered, “Roly, Roly” chant breaks out briefly.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Riddick Jordan:</strong><em> What you people need to realise is that The Black Lions are bigger than SNP.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Boos ring out throughout the crowd at this.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alton Vicious:</strong> <em>No, no, no, don’t take this the wrong way people. Like I said, it’s nothing personal. Black Hole Son here, he used to wrestle for MOSC. The Black Lions are bigger than MOSC.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dwayne Dark:</strong> <em>Me and Sharif are both graduates of the National School of wrestling. I wrestled in 21CW. Take it from me, The Black Lions are bigger than the circus that is 21CW. Harder, stronger and far, far more real!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Scattered cheers at this.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Riddick Jordan:</strong> <em>Alton and I graduated from The Ring of Fire Dojo. People talk about that like it means something. It means less than nothing. Ring of Fire means less than nothing. All of The Black Lions are where we are because we are superior to normal men. It wasn’t training with broken down has-beens that made us who we are. We’re not just on top of the mountain. We ARE the mountain. It doesn’t matter who we go up against, Scotland’s Saviours, Carnie’s Angels, Hugh Echoes and Bret Heartbreak or Khloe’s bloody Kastoffs. The Black Lions are the real kings of Scotland and of everywhere else besides.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alton Vicious:</strong> <em>The future is black. The future is ours. You will hear us roar.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> <em>If I can just ask another question… where is Sharif?</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Black Hole Son:</strong> <em>Sharif is getting ready. He’s already an equal of anybody else in this poxy country but you deluded clowns don’t realise it. He’s the junior member of The Black Lions but believe us, his time will come!</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> <em>And what about The Northern Lights match tonight?</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Riddick Jordan:</strong><em> Dwayne and Black Hole Son have already won tonight, “The Bad Man” and I will make it a clean sweep. Who in their right minds would want to be locked into a cage with us? We will win tonight and one of us will win the King of Scotland title at ‘The Great Cork Riot’ next time out. This myth that surrounds Hugh Echoes needs to be exposed once and for all. I’ve beaten him before and I will do it again. We all know what is going to happen. Tell him again Alton!</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alton Vicious:</strong><em> The future is black! The future is ours! You will hear us roar!</em></p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> So The Black Lions are arrogant, aggressive bullies. As revelations go it’s not in the mind-blowing category is it?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> I don’t know K.K. Sure it wasn’t the most illuminating thing imaginable but it reinforces what we’ve suspected all along, these guys are here to take control and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> And the disrespect they’ve shown to the promotions and dojos that helped to bring them to where they are today. No Manny, I’m more and more appalled by these guys with every passing day. Nobody doubts their ability but they could be just as dominant without attempting to walk over everybody else.</p><p> </p><p>

The camera picks up the action backstage where Notorious F.R.E.A.K. is standing outside a dressing room door with a wide smile on his face.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Notorious F.R.E.A.K.:</strong> <em>Oh wouldn’t you love to zee who is inside zis door! Ze man who will be my new partner tonight and maybe many nights more in ze future. Zere is not one person here tonight whose jaw will not drop to ze floor when zey see who I have brought with me.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

We are talking about a man with ze pedigree, with ze experience, with ze class to help me to get back to ze very top of ze SNP. Notorious F.R.E.A.K. is going to take revenge against everybody who has wronged him.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

How about one little clue? O.K. ees like this. Notorious F.R.E.A.K. is at his most beautiful in red. Of course he is beautiful in all colours but red is ze very best. And who wears ze red? Ze old enemy? Ze Russians? Or ze English perhaps? Who could it be? *whispers* could it be… Commie Tornell?</em></p><p>

<strong>Angle Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Wait? What did he say? It couldn’t be?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Well what can I say, sometimes the SNP even surprises me. Actually I have no idea what he’s talking about. But maybe Carnie was involved?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Well I’ll tell you one thing, the next slot on AuDibles might just have been filled!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>The Misfits w/Khloe Vs. Notorious F.R.E.A.K. & Mystery partner</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Leighton%20Buzzard_zpsd0xiiqbc.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Jeremy%20Allen_zpskhlryiir.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Khloe_zpse3ulqitj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Notorious%20Freak_zpsirxnbpp3.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/45156409-72fa-45ed-b6ec-150df8d5d857_zpszsdn5aia.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">The Misfits make their way to the ring with some apprehension, in deep conversation and clearly a bit taken aback with all that has gone on before. The excitement in the crowd is palpable as Notorious F.R.E.A.K.’s music hit. F.R.E.A.K. steps out to the top of the ramp and drinks in the crowd… he gestures towards the side, indicating that somebody should join him. The crowd waits as F.R.E.A.K. leaps about in excitement. F.R.E.A.K. hugs the air and raises the hand of his partner into the air. It begins to dawn on people what has happened as F.R.E.A.K. begins the walk to the ring. The mystery partner is one of two things – invisible or imaginary.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The Misfits look surprised initially but by the time that F.R.E.A.K. is in the ring exchanging high-fives with the empty air they’ve relaxed noticeably. The Pulveriser and F.R.E.A.K. get things underway with F.R.E.A.K. quickly finding himself overwhelmed by the younger man’s strength. He gets to the ropes and Lucy Avatar breaks things up. F.R.E.A.K. retreats to his corner and has an animated conversation with the partner that only he can see. He indicates quite forcefully that he’s not yet willing to tag out while the crowd chant, “We want Commie, we want Commie”. F.R.E.A.K. goes up against The Pulveriser again but is manhandled some more and dragged to the opposition corner where Phil Bridge is tagged in. Bridge continues to dominate for The Misfits, dropkicking F.R.E.A.K. into the corner and then hitting him with a big running forearm. F.R.E.A.K. drops onto his back in front of the turnbuckle and Bridge is quickly up top where he tries a swanton but finds nobody home when F.R.E.A.K. rolls quickly to one side.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Both men are down. Khloe batters her fists on the canvas and calls out encouragement to Bridge. F.R.E.A.K. is quicker to reach his corner but when he gets there and holds out a desperate hand there’s nobody there. After a few moments of holding the hand out imploringly, F.R.E.A.K. lurches back to his feet and stares forlornly back up the entrance ramp.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

“Commie,” he screams, “come back, why are you doing zis? Don’t leave me!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Phil Bridge comes up from behind and rolls F.R.E.A.K. backwards into a cover but only manages a 2 count. Bridge kicks his opponent in the stomach and whips him back into his corner. He tags The Pulveriser back in and the big man unleashes his big weapon. The Blade Slam leaves F.R.E.A.K. down and clinging to consciousness. This time the 3 count is inevitable and The Misfits pick up the victory at 4’37.</span></p><p>

<strong>Match rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan: </strong>That, ladies and gentlemen, was bizarre…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Bizarre is one word for it. Whatever else can be said about Notorious F.R.E.A.K. he certainly lives up to his name.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Yeah, that was pretty odd. The Misfits will be pleased with the win though, they’re building some momentum of late! And this next match could give them a good look at future challenges!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Three phenomenal tag teams going head to head and there can only one winner. This is going to be intense.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> The title-winning experience of The Funke Bunch, the prestige of The Creepy Crawlies and the momentum of Golden Sons – this one is simply too close to call!</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Mark Carnie is loud and boisterous at ringside for this one, with Augustus Bumblescoop’s Dragon Lightweight title draped over one shoulder. Martin Heath of Golden Sons and Finn Funke of The Funke Bunch get us underway. From the outset this one is fast-paced and full of high spots with the first big moment for the crowd coming when Heath sends Finn flying with a stunning missile dropkick. As Heath takes in the adulation of a group of young women in the front row, Finn finds himself in the wrong corner, Bumblescoop tags himself in and clocks Heath from behind with a flying knee. The Creepy Crawlies make a series of quick tags, Bumblescoop working Heath over with a head scissors and a flying knee off the middle turnbuckle and Picalo keeping Heath grounded by focusing his more brutal offence on the knees. Heath endures the punishment and eventually get a break when he leapfrogs the 5’8 Picalo and runs to his corner, diving to make a tag to ‘Captain Crash’ Cain Carisle. Carlisle vaults over the top rop and rushes Picalo, immediately sending the recently dethroned former Hardcore champion sprawling with a sublime handstand-turned-enziguri.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Flash Funke manages to tag himself in but is immediately taken out by Carlile with more of his unique offence, this time a handstand-turned-diving back elbow drop. Carlile’s barrage continues with running bulldog where he launches himself onto the top rope and springboards back into a cover. Within seconds there’s chaos in the ring, with all six men involved as Lucy Avatar tries to restore order with Mark Carnie adding to the general air of lunacy from the ring apron. By the time order is restored both legal men are down, Flash Funke still recovering from Carlile’s assault while Carlile himself was the victim of a sneaky Dragon Lightweight belt to the face when Mark Carnie handed the strap to Bumblescoop during the melee we just witnessed. Bumblescoop also had the presence of mind to leave Carlile lying close to The Creepy Crawlies’ corner and now tags himself back in. Flash Funke has reached Finn at the same time and battle begins anew. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The pace picks up even further now with the tags coming quick and fast. Bumblescoop’s ‘High Times’ flying clothesline on Finn Funke is a wonder of gravity. Flash Funke’s Diving DDT from the top rope leaves Bumblescoop in big trouble on the wrong side of the ring. Carlile swings the momentum back in favour of this team with another handstand attack that sees him take down both members of The Funke Bunch by simply using his body as a missile. Colin Picalo, clearly quite mesmerised by the high flying going on around him, decides he wants to get in on the act. Despite not being the legal man, he climbs to the top turnbuckle. Once he gets there… he pauses, clearly not sure what to do next. As the crowd jeer and encourage him in equal measure he shifts his feet awkwardly, stumbles and slips, catching himself upside down in the corner. It’s a target that Finn Funke can’t ignore and he hits the corner (and Picalo) hard. As he admires his handiwork he doesn’t realise that Golden Sons have made another tag. He turns around into a dropkick from Martin Heath. Heath hip tosses him back towards his own corner and mounts the top turnbuckle himself. He shows none of Picalo’s indecision when he gets there, hitting his patented flying fist drop finisher before hooking the leg and scoring the 1-2-3 to ensure that he and Colin Picalo pick up another victory at 9’39.</span></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> The Golden Sons are on the rise! What a match. SNP is the place to be for top class tag team wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> There’s no arguing with that Manny. Carlile and Heath are starting to build serious momentum and they proved again tonight that they will have to be taken seriously going forward. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> I don’t think that they’ve proven quite yet that they deserve to belong in the same bracket as Na Fianna or The Northern Lights but they’ve certainly shown that they deserve an opportunity to stake a claim!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Those matches, if and when they happen, will be unmissable too. Now though, we have a totally different sort of bout ahead of us. This one will be all about the power, the brutality and the physicality of two of Scotland’s finest specimens!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Maximum Destruction w/ Laurel Wreath Vs. Meathead McAullie </strong><strong><em>(Last Man Standing match)</em></strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Maximum%20Destruction_zpsrewe7aif.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Laurel%20Wreath_zps50vhpjqk.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Meathead%20McAullie_zpsrxkjdtij.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Things are pretty relaxed in this one right up until the bell is rung. Max D and Meathead are chatting cordially and even find the time to share a quick joke and bump fists before the bell rings. They lock up quickly and jostle for control. Nobody can assert dominance and at an unspoken signal the two men break apart again. They circle and lock up to try again. This time Max D shifts his weight and drives an elbow to the side of Meathead’s skull, locking on a headlock and twisting his weight around to maximise the pain inflicted. In response McAullie, the MVP of SNP, hoists big Max D into the air and falls backwards, slamming Max D onto his neck.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The tempo is slower in this one as the pair exchanges clubbing blows and hard kicks. Max D body drops McAullie to the floor and Lucy Avatar has reached 6 before Meathead is back to his feet. Max D follows him outside but momentum shifts again with a knee to the stomach which Meathead follows up with a DDT to the floor. Max D only makes it up at 8 this time and even that is with the help of Laurel Wreath. When both men come together in the ring again they lock up once more. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Max D is quicker this time, stepping around the back of Meathead McAullie, locking in a full nelson. He bellows at Laurel Wreath to grab a chair. She hesitates and he screams for her to do it! Lucy Avatar says no, Max D makes the demand again as McAullie struggles to free himself. Laurel Wreath slides into the ring, conflict written across her face. Lucy Avatar tries to intervene but Wreath deftly sidesteps her. She hesitates again with the chair raised above her head, “DO IT!” commands Maximum Destruction. Wreath swings, McAullie ducks, Max D takes the chair full in the face and wobbles to one knee. Avatar looks on in shock, Wreath in horror. McAullie reacts quickest, running the ropes and coming back to catch Max D right on the chin with a running big boot. Wreath rolls outside as Avatar starts to count. McAullie picks up the chair and takes a long hard look at Max D. He shakes his head and tosses the chair outside as Avatar continues to count. 8-9-10! At 7’47 Meathead McAullie is declared the winner.</span></p><p>

<strong>Match rating: E+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

McAullie is stalking angrily back to the dressing room while Wreath tries to rouse Max D. McAullie stops halfway up the ramp and looks back to where Max D is struggling to his feet. Meathead changes direction and makes his way back into the ring. He circles Max D and Laurel Wreath and stands there silently as the crowd begins to hum in anticipation. Max D turns to face him and the two men stare intently at each other. McAullie takes a step towards his opponent. There’s another pause before Meathead… holds out a hand.</p><p>

Max D stares at it, takes a step forward… and slaps it away. Without taking an eye of Meathead McAullie he backs away to the ropes, leaves the ring and walks back up the ramp. Laurel Wreath looks between the two for a few moments before following Max D. McAullie is left standing alone in the ring, looking furious, despite his victory.</p><p>

<strong>Angle rating: E-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Well that was unexpected. I think Maximum Destruction is feeling the pressure of his recent poor form. He’s never been the most stable of individuals but he’s right on the edge now.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> True enough K.K. but I think it’s fair to say that we’re seeing a very, very different side to him tonight. Only time will tell if there will be more of a fallout from what happened here.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> That’s very true guys but let’s not forget the other side of this story either. Another big win for Meathead McAullie and at a time when there’s so much going on here on so many different levels he’s making very purposeful strides in the right direction!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Speaking of men In form this next match is pitting two guys with real momentum behind them against each other in one-on-one action. Padraig O’Hearne will be facing off against “The Prodigy” Konrad Makinen.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> I am more than willing to go on record right now and tell everybody watching that both these guys have got what it takes to go a very, very long way in this industry. We are all genuinely very lucky to have them both in SNP and, quite honestly, this is the match I’ve been most looking forward to!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Konrad Makinen w/Mark Carnie Vs. Padraig O’Hearne w/Kitty Katz</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Konrad%20Maumlkinen_zpswvm8melp.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Mark%20Carnie_zpst3cqf4as.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpg</span> w/<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">There’s a tangible sense of excitement in the audience before this one begins. The crowd were calmed a little by the slower pace of the previous match but started to pick up again in the aftermath. It begins with a series of quick holds and counter-holds with neither man able to claim a clear advantage. There are several quick roll ups by both but nothing even close to a 3 count. Makinen reverses an Irish Whip to the corner but O’Hearne moves before the Swede can follow up with a body splash. Makinen ducks beneath a wild forearm and uses O’Hearne’s own momentum against him to toss him over the top rope. O’Hearne catches the rope and manages to land gracefully, pulls Makinen towards him, clubs him down and performs a textbook sunset flip back in from the apron. This time there’s a two count but Makinen is up quickly and his dropkick to O’Hearne’s chest before the Irishman can even attempt to stand is followed by an attempted elbow drop but O’Hearne rolls to one side and when Makinen hits the mat hard, O’Hearne drags in an arm for a painful looking submission hold that Makinen has to twist and flip several times in quick succession to escape from.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The match continues in this vein, with technical exchanges at a high pace and neither man quite managing to put the other away. There are chances on both sides, O’Hearne coming within milliseconds of a huge victory with a huge belly-to-back suplex from the top turnbuckle and Makinen almost securing the win with a deadly looking swinging neckbreaker and a vindictive backstabber. Mark Carnie and Kitty Katz both play their parts, particularly when they come together at one point and Katz slaps the leering SNP owner hard in the face to the glee of the audience. Karma Kollopy and Jackie Goldstein are also at their best, feeding off each other’s enthusiasm as the contest ebbs and flows. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

As the matches goes on, both men are tiring as we approach the quarter hour mark. Makinen is on the apron being counselled by Carnie when O’Hearne runs at him with clear intentions to batter him off the apron. Ice cool as always Makinen calmly steps to one side and pulls down the rope, O’Hearne goes flying to the outside (he manages to take Mark Carnie down with him but not his original target). He lands heavily and awkwardly. Kitty Katz is straight around to check on the health of her husband who is clearly in a bad way. Lucy Avatar starts a count while Makinen watches on with a calculating look on his face. By the time Avatar has reached 7, Katz is helping O’Hearne back to his feet. Makinen decides to take action. He bounces off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring sprints back and hurls himself over the top with an absolutely perfect looking somersault. Katz just about manages to step away from it but O’Hearne is not so lucky. Makinen hauls him back to the steel entrance rampway as Avatar begins to count again. He suplexes O’Hearne onto the steel and makes his way back into the ring as the count continues. At 15’48 Avatar reaches 10 and Makinen is declared the victor by count out. O’Hearne makes his way to the back looking like a man whose mind is elsewhere as Makinen stands in the middle of the ring and looks to the heavens as his music plays.</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Konrad Makinen is now 5-0 since his arrival here in SNP. He has got to be edging ever close to a shot at King of Scotland glory.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> That’s absolutely right. I know that Mark Carnie looked all over the world before picking Makinen to join his stable and that decision is looking cleverer with every passing match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> A really good effort from both men there. Makinen is just such a cool customer. He seems instinctively to know exactly which risks are worth taking and there’s not many opponents who’d cause you to bet against him now!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> A really technical battle there, a reminder to everybody at home that there is such a variety of talent here in SNP, there really is something for everybody.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy: </strong>And with that firmly in mind you can see that they’re starting to lower that steel cage around the ring for our last two matches this evening.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Cobra Vs. Lenny Mochin (Cage Match)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Cobra_zpszpas1mrc.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Lenny%20Mochin_zpsdym6hscd.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Cobra and Mochin have really built a rivalry by now. Still grounded more in a mutual respect rather than any huge clash of personality there can be no denying that it has slowly, inevitably become more bitter over the course of their encounters. Today, in an attempt to minimise any outside distractions, the two have been confined to a cage, all the better to keep Mark Carnie and Avarice (Cobra’s pet snake) away from the action. The bell rings, and these two circle each other warily.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The early exchanges between the pair are cagey (no pun intended) though Cobra gains the upper hand with a DDT that comes out of absolutely nowhere. He scampers to the cage wall but is only half way up when Mochin drags him off the cage and into a high impact Samoan Drop. A couple of quick suplexes later and it’s the turn of Mochin to try and escape but again he is caught and hauled back down without getting particularly close. The two trade holds for a spell before Cobra seizes another opportunity to go for it after putting Lenny Mochin down after hammering him face first into the cage. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

The rangy American heads for the top again and this time gets close enough that Lenny Mochin has to start climbing quickly to try and catch him. Cobra has one leg over the top when Mochin desperately reaches up and grabs the leg still on the inside of the cage. He holds on tightly as Cobra tries desperately to kick his way free. Mochin won’t let go and climbs up purposefully. Keeping Cobra’s leg pinned by forcing it between the struts he hammers Cobra’s head against the top of the cage once, twice, three times. Blood gushes. Mochin hefts Cobra back in and pushes… it’s a long, heavy fall for Cobra to the ring below. Mochin does pause for a moment, looking back at his fallen foe who is barely moving. With a rueful shake of the head Mochin climbs over the cage himself. Halfway down the outside, he drops off the rest of the way, touching ground and getting the win at 8’03. He doesn’t hang about, looking distracted and heading quickly to the back.</span></p><p>

<strong>Match rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Mochin:</strong> ‘The Brewin’ Storm’ Lenny Mochin with a big win in dramatic circumstances. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this pair clashing time and time again!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Agreed Manny, they have done themselves proud yet again. Real edge of the seat stuff and there isn’t one person here who wasn’t impressed by what they’ve just witnessed.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Lenny Mochin looks like a man who has something going on. Of course it could just be that he wants to get a good seat for our main event which is coming up next. The SNP Tag Team champions – The Northern Lights – Alton Vicious and Riddick Jordan against Bret Heartbreak and the SNP King of Scotland Hugh Echoes.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> And don’t forget the caveat here KK, if The Northern Lights win, one of them will get a title shot against Hugh Echoes but if they lose… if they lose they have to put their titles on the line against the pairing of Heartbreak and Echoes. The stakes could not be any higher.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> I’m not likely to forget the stipulation Manny, it was my idea my friend!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> This match could well have the most quality in a ring at once that we’ve ever seen in a tag team match here in SNP. Let’s get it ONNNNN!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Hugh Echoes & Bret Heartbreak Vs. The Northern Lights </strong><strong><em>(Non-title, Cage Match)</em></strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Hugh%20de%20Aske_zpsg8cy82yu.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Bret%20Heartbreak_zps3aqc6jjw.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Riddick%20Jordan_zps0ttcjipk.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Alton%20Vicious_zpshhz1lbr8.jpg</span></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">With all four men in the cage, The Northern Lights attack. All Lucy Avatar can do is ring the bell and let them get to it. The power of the Tag Team champions takes a toll early on. Riddick Jordan is dominating Heartbreak with ease, culminating when he pressed the youngster over his head and tosses him bodily into the cage wall. Vicious and Echoes are more even in their exchanges but a Vicious headbutt gives “The Bad Man” control and this is only exacerbated when Jordan abandons Heartbreak in a heap and lends his support. The Tag Team champions double-team the King of Scotland, Vicious pinning his arms back while Jordan works the body with stiff blows. Jordan attempts to climb out while Vicious continues to batter Hugh Echoes but the recovering Bret Heartbreak cuts off Jordan, taking one for the team when he pulls “The Dude” and himself off the cage wall to the unyielding ring below. Byron’s young son lands underneath Jordan, prompting the SNP crowd into a chant of, “Heartbreak’s dead, Heartbreak’s dead!” While that is thankfully not the case there’s no doubt that the guy is in serious pain.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Echoes is mounting a comeback, using speed and agility to get behind Alton Vicious’ defence, but he finds himself right back where he started when Riddick Jordan inserts himself into the equation once more and the numbers game takes hold. A double suplex has Echoes short of breath. The Northern Lights toss him off the ropes and set up for a double clothesline. Echoes ducks under the move, hits the opposite ropes and takes down Jordan with a clothesline of his own on the way back. Another run off the ropes sees Echoes knock Vicious down with a flying backwards elbow drop. The King of Scotland gets back to his feet, gives Heartbreak a cursory check (the youngster is starting to moving about now but is clearly still hurt). Echoes heads to the walls of the cage and starts to climb. Jordan and Vicious are back up and attempting to pull him off. Echoes is holding on for dear life.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Bret Heartbreak is somehow back on his feet. He attacks Vicious from behind, knocking the bigger man to the mat and locking in a pressure hold around the throat of his foe. Echoes manages to kick free from Jordan and climb a little higher but Riddick Jordan is nothing but not persistent and is quickly up after him, locking his arms around Echoes’ legs again. We are, briefly, at a stalemate.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Black Hole Son emerges from the crowd and jumps to the wall of the cage. He attempts to force Echoes back down. Dwayne Dark emerges at the top of the entrance ramp and, just like last month, it appears as if The Black Lions are about to take control of the party. Dark raises his hands above his head in celebration of the boos ringing out. Then it happens… three masked figures emerge from behind Dark, brutally and quickly beating him down before sprinting to the ring. Black Hole Son spots them coming, hops down from the cage and attempts to flee. He’s beaten down by one of the newcomers as the other two scale the walls and drop down inside. Lucy Avatar calls for the bell, abandoning the bout at 11’03 . The two masked figures in the ring immediately unload on Riddick Jordan who attempts to fight back is already worn out and outnumbered. As the third man enters the ring Hugh Echoes stands back and takes it all in. The three masked men now turn their attentions to Vicious, tossing Bret Heartbreak into the corner and leaving him there as they systematically demolish The Northern Lights. Echoes climbs out of the ring and heads for the back, taking his title with him, pausing only to kick Dwayne Dark once as he leaves.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

As we prepare to leave the show The Northern Lights are down and out in the middle of the ring, Bret Heartbreak is trying to recover himself as discreetly as possible in one corner and the three masked men have climbed to the top of the cage at different corners. They hold their hands above their heads, making a circle with their fingers, thumbs pressed together at the bottom and fingers completing the circle at the top. They keep the thumbs together but move the fingers apart and flicker them as quickly as possible. As one they unmask… it’s Padraig O’Hearne, Lenny Mochin and Rohan Kirchner.</span></p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> Once more the night ends in absolute chaos here at the appropriately named Chaos Arena. Bedlam has ensued. What has brought these guys out here?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jackie Goldstein:</strong> Right now we can only hypothesise Manny but if I can manage it at all I am going to get these guys on the next edition of ‘AuDibles’ at The Great Cork Riot 2018 in 3 weeks time.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Karma Kollopy:</strong> Well there’s certainly plenty of questions to be asked after tonight. I don’t want to seem like I’m complaining at the end of another wonderful show here but something is going to have to be done about another ending tarnished by all these run-ins. Yes, it’s exciting. Yes, it’s dramatic but it’s not good for business overall and we’re going to have to address that!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Manny Morhan:</strong> It’s been another night of intrigue and action here in The Chaos Arena in front of a record setting SNP crowd. On behalf of myself, Manny Morhan and my broadcast colleagues Jackie Goldstein and Karma Kollopy, I would like to thank you all for watching. Out Of It 2018 has ended and it has ended with a shocking scene that threatens to reshape SNP as we know it!</p><p>

<p>Thistle Talk 003 – Sunday, Week 2 May, 2018</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP_zpsc0w5yeji.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Thistle%20Talk_zps1o3itxgk.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Welcome to another episode of Thistle Talk bringing you up to date with all the latest news and events from SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP%20Logo%20-%20Out%20Of%20It_zpsl0vosi4m.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Out Of It – The Fallout</span></strong></p><p>

A record crowd watched Out Of It, another success story in our continuing evolution here in SNP. The following are the biggest talking points to come out of the event:</p><p> </p><p>

1) What brought Padraig O’Hearne, Lenny Mochin and Rohan Kirchner onto the same page? Despite Karma Kollopy’s frustration at another main event ending in chaos it was a gripping finale. This trio have definitely put themselves on the map after going right after The Black Lions, SNP’s most dominant force. The question also has to be asked, what does this mean for Na Fianna, Carnie’s Angels and The Koven?</p><p> </p><p>

2) It seems a long time indeed now since Meathead McAullie and Maximum Destruction were allies. Max D hasn’t been himself of late and all that frustration seemed to boil over in McAullie’s direction at the end of their match. Can these two big men heal their rift or will things completely explode between them?</p><p> </p><p>

3) Black Hole Son appears to be finally living up to the hype in the Dragon Lightweight division with a couple of victories on the spin. There’s no doubt that he has Augustus Bumblescoop in his sights now in what will be another battle in the war between The Black Lions and Carnie’s Angels.</p><p> </p><p>

4) Jimmi Addams is another man who has been making some waves of late albeit on pre-shows. There are whispers that Addams, Kourtney’s sole remaining client if Rohan Kirchner has moved on, has one eye on the Hardcore title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Profile: Padraig O’Hearne</span></strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpg</span></p><p>

It is five years now since Padraig O’Hearne became the last man to graduate from the Ring of Fire Dojo. He spent a year and a half working the indies before becoming a part of the initial SNP roster in 2015. Since Karma Kollopy’s arrival in 2016 O’Hearne has grown into an integral part of things here. He has grown better with every passing year, coming on in leaps and bounds.</p><p> </p><p>

Throughout 2016 and 2017 O’Hearne put up impressive win loss records, both in singles bouts and and in acclaimed tag team Na Fianna (10-2 in 2016 and 11-3 in 2017). He even found the time to get married in the middle of the SNP ring to his manager Kittz Katz. Still only 24, O’Hearne is a real prospect here in SNP and, despite a comparatively poor start to this year, only a fool would bet him against adding singles gold to the pair of Tag Team title reigns already on his resume. </p><p> </p><p>

The inspirational Irishman has clearly instigated a big move at Out Of It. His motives are still unclear but there seems to be nobody in any doubt that Padraig O’Hearne is going to be a key player here in SNP for a very long time to come.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Great Cork Riot – Matches Announced</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Hugh%20de%20Aske_zpsg8cy82yu.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Bret%20Heartbreak_zps3aqc6jjw.jpg</span><p>

<strong>Hugh Echoes © Vs. Bret Heartbreak (SNP King of Scotland title match)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

After their classic at Carnage III in February it was a source of much disappointment to many that their rematch at Hardcore War was spoiled by The Black Lions interference. Echoes and Heartbreak then teamed up at Out Of It three weeks ago and, two weeks from today, they’ll finally get another opportunity to go head-to-head. There is clearly a degree of respect between this pair but with the biggest prize in SNP on the line, the respect will be left outside the ropes when the bell rings in this one.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Alton%20Vicious_zpshhz1lbr8.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpg</span><p>

<strong>Alton Vicious Vs. Padraig O’Hearne</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It was evident that the events at the end of our last show were going to have ramifications and this match, one feels, will only be the first between The Black Lions and this new grouping. Alton Vicious and Padraig O’Hearne are both recognised quality and with tensions high between them even before recent events due to their clashes in Tag Team bouts this could be an unforgettable bout. O’Hearne, as the hometown hero, will definitely be the crowd’s choice but on their day either man could win this one.</p><p> </p><p>

Everybody here at SNP would like to wish the very best of luck to everybody involved in SPPW (Super Premier Pro Wrestling), the new promotion opened by ex-21CW announcer Kev Jones in Eastern Europe.</p><p> </p><p>

"The Alchemist" Jackie Goldstein has signed a PPA contract with SPPW, he will also continue to work for SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Just a quick OOC post to do a bit of housekeeping.</p><p> </p><p>

1) I've switched from grades to numbers, that will come into effect with the next show and will hopefully not prove too jarring.</p><p> </p><p>

2) Speaking of the next show, the last one was (I felt) probably a bit too long for it's own good! Going forward I may just keep the longer match descriptions for the Main Event (and possibly the Semi-Main) and go for a somewhat briefer summary for the rest.</p><p> </p><p>

3) Again with regard to the next show, it's only an hour long show (the bulk of them are 90 minutes), one of a few that we run in Ireland every year to try and get over there too (plus, in story, it's nice for me to promote a few shows in my backyard). The upshot of this rambling is that it will, by it's very nature be somewhat shorter anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

4) Finally, I've been blown away by my appearances in two categories in the Diary of the Month Awards. That 9 people, to date, have voted for my diary in the C-Verse category is something that genuinely means an awful lot, particularly when so many of them are from people I didn't even know were reading and both of the other nominees voted for me. Thanks so much to everybody, I honestly didn't think the recognition would mean as much to me as it has! It's a real boost in the arm and I'm sure Karma Kollopy, Mark Carnie and crew would be just as appreciative as I am. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Further matches announced for The Great Cork Riot 2018</span></strong></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP%20Logo%20-%20The%20Great%20Cork%20Riot_zpslqci2o96.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<strong>Augustus Bumblescoop © w/ Mark Carnie Vs. Black Hole Son </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">(Dragon Lightweight title match)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bumblescoop’s run as Dragon Lightweight champion has been a feather in the cap for Carnie’s Angels. Bumblescoop himself feels that he took the long way around to get the belt around his waist and he will be in no rush to relinquish the title. Facing him down in Cork will be “The Jackal Amongst Lions”, Black Hole Son. After a prolonged slump that took in the second half of 2017 and early this year a recent turnaround in form has earned him his first title match in SNP. </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Meathead%20McAullie_zpsrxkjdtij.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Riddick%20Jordan_zps0ttcjipk.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<strong>Meathead McAullie Vs. Riddick Jordan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

This clash between two former Kings of Scotland has all the makings of a classic. Meathead McAullie and Riddick Jordan will both hit hard, fast and often. They have a healthy disregard for each other going back to their clashes during the Scotland’s Saviours/Black Lions feud. This will not be a match for the faint-hearted and whoever wins will have to earn it the hard way.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Blackheart_zpsf7gwvwwu.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Cain%20Carlile_zpstglx0whk.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<strong>Blackheart Vs. Cain Carlile (Pre-show)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ireland’s own Blackheart will make another appearance on the pre-show, this one against Captain Crash Cain Carlile. It’s a real clash of styles here, the wild brawling of the bulky 16 year old Blackheart against the high-flying, high-risk offence of Carlile. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>There will also be at least one more match announced at the show itself!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Releases</span></strong></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Manny%20Morhan_zpsmzdc6orj.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

SNP announces the release of Announcer Manny “The Man” Morhan. Manny has been the voice of SNP since we opened our doors and a pleasure to work with throughout his time time here. A decision was reached that it was simply not an expense that we needed to carry at the present time. Our doors will always be open to Manny and he will always be a friend of SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Questioning Kollopy</span></strong></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Karma%20Kollopy%20First_zpsrldds0to.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Q1. What do you think is behind the recent banding together of Padraig O’Hearne, Rohan Kirchner and Lenny Mochin?</p><p>

<em>I don’t have a definitive answer for that. What I can confirm is that ‘The Alchemist’ Jackie Goldstein is going to have the three men on his show ‘AuDibles’ at The Great Cork Riot 2018 next week. There’s nobody talking just yet but I would imagine we’ll get some answers there. O’Hearne and Mochin did team together once but that was over two years ago now. In truth, I’m as interested in hearing them speak as anybody else.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Q2. What plans does SNP have to prevent further main events from ending in chaotic run-ins?</p><p>

<em>We’ll be addressing this before the start of the next show but I will make a few comments now. Obviously, the very nature of SNP, this embodiment of Scottish Hardcore, means that there will always be a certain amount of instability and that is a strength of our product. However, there has to be a degree of law and there will have to be consequences for those whose conduct is going to hinder our progress going forward. Again, even at the risk of repeating myself, you’ll have to tune into The Great Cork Riot to find exactly how we’re going to respond.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Q3. What three changes would you most like to make to the way things are run at SNP?</p><p>

<em>Ugh, what a question. I’ll start by emphasising once more that Mark Carnie is the boss at SNP. He founded the company and he is the man who has done more than anybody to lay down the foundations upon which we stand today. That being said, if I was given free reign tomorrow I would want to do the following:</em></p><p><em>

1. Establish a Women’s Division. We would be the only name promotion in Britain to have one and it could go a long way towards bringing us forward.</em></p><p><em>

2. Establish relationships with other promotions. I would look at forming an official partnership with one (or possibly two) of the big four European promotion and possibly look even further afield, really think outside the box, maybe approach the COTT. I can’t see any downside to it to be honest.</em></p><p><em>

3. I’d make a concerted effort to change our modus operandi from Hardcore to High-Flying. I’ll hold up my hand and say freely that this is more of a personal thing but you asked the question so there you go.</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

Q4. Who would you most like to bring into SNP?</p><p>

<em>We have a shortlist. I’m not going to get into specific names. There’s 27 names on it at the moment though. I’d say we’ll probably never approach more than maybe 5-6 of them and there’s no plans to add anybody else at the moment. Our roster is probably a bit bigger than we need already. I will give you this teaser though. We did make a signing last week. The Great Cork Riot is probably too soon for them but keep your eyes peeled for Clash of the Clans in June.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Q5. Would you be willing to set a target? How big a crowd do you think SNP can hit by the end of the year?</p><p>

<em>I’m reluctant to set hard targets out loud in general. The potential is just a bit too… real for it to wind up as egg in your face if you don’t hit them for whatever reason. We have talked about this before. Our mid-term goal is to clear 1000 and by the end of the year… if we get there great but even if we reach 900 I’d be pleased. We started the year with 750 and have almost an extra 100 people added to that already. As for the Irish shows, if we can clear 100 there before the year ends I’ll look on that as a number we can work with, a foothold in an area that I think will be important for us in time.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Miscellaneous News</span></strong></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/GCG_zpsmi2db9tm.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

There was huge news in Japan this week when the world’s second oldest wrestling company, Golden Canvas Grappling (GCG), were disbanded after being bought out by their rivals Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods. BHOTWG remain in a three way battle to be Japan’s top promotion with Pride Glory Honour Wrestling (PGHW) and World Level Wrestling (WLW).</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP_zpsc0w5yeji.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>OOC:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p>

<strong>Who will be the participants in the unannounced match?</strong> It is one-on-one, both competitors are regular roster members. I'll award 1 point for getting one participant right, 3 points if you get both and a massive 5 if you get somehow stumble upon both competitors and the correct result.</p><p>

<strong>Who will make an unannounced appearance during AuDibles with O'Hearne/Mochin/Kirchner?</strong> 3 points for correct answer.</p><p>

<strong>Who will join Jackie Goldstein and Karma Kollopy on announce duties?</strong> This person is NOT booked anywhere else on the show, 3 points for correct answer.</p><p> </p><p>

I've made the decision to award MrWolf101 1 point for being the first/only person to provide some questions for 'Questioning Kollopy'.</p><p> </p><p>

Current standings now as follows:</p><p>

Atticus: 5</p><p>

MrWolf101: 5</p><p>

The Lloyd: 4</p><p>

Spud1305: 2</p><p> </p><p>

After 4 shows (the Great Cork Riot will be the third) I'm going to award the following prizes (winner chooses first and so on...):</p><p>

1. I found a document I wrote long before I started the dynasty here called, "Scottish National Promotions - Year in review 2016". It's basically written in the format of an official office review and, accordingly, is not intended for fans eyes. There's a 2017 version too that I'll put up for grabs next time round.</p><p>

2. Three pieces of leaked backstage information (relationship stuff, current size and so on). I'd consider one of these to be potentially very significant.</p><p>

3. The opportunity to write a fan piece for an episode of Thistle Talk. Content is totally up to you, call for somebody you like to be pushed, potential recruits, whatever takes your fancy. Within reason, I can promise the SNP will listen (and indeed discuss) your proposal/thoughts with you.</p><p>

4. The opportunity to name a new tag-team.</p><p> </p><p>

Still plenty of time for anybody who's not predicted yet to get in on the act.</p>

Props for a well written diary. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it through from the start. Looking forward to see where it goes. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Hugh Echoes © Vs. Bret Heartbreak (SNP King of Scotland)

Bret Heartbreak is one of my personal favorites from an old TEW 2010 playthrough of mine, but I can't see him becoming champion yet.

Augustus Bumblescoop © Vs. Black Hole Son (SNP Dragon Lightweight)

This is honestly the one I'm the least sure of, but BHS has a lot of momentum behind him right now, so I'll go with him (and I like his name
:)
)

Alton Vicious Vs. Padraig O'Hearne

I think the new stable needs a big win to establish them and this would be a good one.

Blackheart Vs. Cain Carlile (Pre-show)

Meathead McAullie Vs. Riddick Jordan

Bonus Questions:

Who will be the participants in the unannounced match? Cobra vs F.R.E.A.K., with Cobra winning, just because I want to see how F.R.E.A.K. reacts to the snake

Who will make an unannounced appearance during AuDibles with O'Hearne/Mochin/Kirchner? Maximum Destruction

Who will join Jackie Goldstein and Karma Kollopy on announce duties? Dwayne Dark, a complete guess but I'd just like to hear a Black Lions take on each match on the card

<strong>OOC:</strong> The Great Cork Riot is written up and just needs to be posted and images added. I'm going to do that at some point on Monday so anybody hoping to predict, please be aware of that deadline of sorts. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>I meant to do another proper write up for the last show, but I'll do it for this one instead!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hugh Echoes ©</strong> Vs. Bret Heartbreak (SNP King of Scotland)</p><p>

<em>Tough, but I'm definitely leaning a lot more toward Hugh retaining here. Definitely feel like there's gonna be some tomfoolery.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Augustus Bumblescoop © Vs. <strong>Black Hole Son</strong> (SNP Dragon Lightweight)</p><p>

<em>Oh man, this one is really, really tough. This seems like such a prime moment of it being a nice set up for BHS, only for Augustus to retain. But I'm gonna stick with my prediction for the Lions.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Alton Vicious Vs. <strong>Padraig O'Hearne</strong></p><p>

<em>Think this new group will need a bit of a boost, but I can also see this getting thrown out possibly.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Blackheart Vs. <strong>Cain Carlile</strong> (Pre-show)</p><p>

<em>Going with the tag team specialist.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Meathead McAullie Vs. <strong>Riddick Jordan</strong></p><p>

<em>Feel like Max D is gonna show up or something. I don't see Meathead losing clean here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions:</p><p>

Who will be the participants in the unannounced match? I've had a ton of different match ups in my head, but I'm going to say <strong>F.R.E.A.K. vs. Colin Picalo</strong> and Picalo picks up the win.</p><p>

Who will make an unannounced appearance during AuDibles with O'Hearne/Mochin/Kirchner? I want to say a member of the Black Lions, but I'm going to throw a curveball, maybe someone who will want some personal answers before his match, <strong>Bret Heartbreak</strong>.</p><p>

Who will join Jackie Goldstein and Karma Kollopy on announce duties? <strong>Dwayne Dark</strong>. I like this prediction since I feel like all of Black Lion is bound to show up in some capacity and him being on the announce team makes him close to all the action.</p>

SNP The Great Cork Riot 2018 – The Pre-show

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg

Kitty Katz comes to the ring to a huge applause from the Irish crowd, firmly behind one of their own. She allows the chants of “Kitty Katz,” to ring out, waiting patiently for them to subside before raising a microphone to her lovely mouth.

“I’ve always said that the most passionate part of the SNP army are right here in Ireland! It only seems right that after the events at the end of Out Of It, it is here in Ireland that we will see the first moments of what will be a very interesting new chapter here in SNP. Ever since the end of that show everybody has asked me what’s going on with Padraig and the others. How does it affect Na Fianna? How does it affect our marriage? Well… that’s Padraig’s tale to tell you and he will do at some point during tonight’s show. I am not standing still either though. It is my absolute delight to welcome my newest managerial client, the latest part of the Green wave that is washing over SNP, the toughest teenager in the business today – BLACKHEART!”

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Blackheart_zpsf7gwvwwu.jpg

Blackheart makes his way to the ring with a noted swagger in his step. He shakes Kitty Katz’ hand and smirks at the audience who seem unsure how to react. This cocky, vicious youngster is a far cry from the likable, upstanding Padraig O’Hearne and Matthew Macks that we’re used to seeing alongside Kitty Katz.

“They tell me that I’m too young to compete at this level. They tell me that I don’t have the experience and that I should still be in some dojo or training school, learning. Well I say, learn by doing and if you’re good enough, you’re old enough. Something else you people should remember, if I’m this good at 16, just think how dangerous I’ll be at 21, at 25, at 30. Kitty Katz has the foresight to realise that I am the rocket that could carry her all the way to the top”.

Angle rating: 22

Blackheart w/Kitty Katz Vs. Cain Carlile

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Blackheart_zpsf7gwvwwu.jpg w/http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Cain%20Carlile_zpstglx0whk.jpg

In the 8’30 that this one lasted there were a number of factors in play. Blackheart is very raw and his psychology is still questionable but there’s an undeniable star quality about the kid too. Cain Carlile seemed distracted throughout. It’s so easy to overlook that Carlile himself is still only 21. Both these young men have radically different approaches to the wrestling ring, in terms of both temperament and technique. It was the more experienced Carlile, the former Dragon Lightweight champion who emerged victorious, stringing together a series of moves with his unorthodox offence, culminating in his Mark of Cain and the 1-2-3 for the victory.

Match Rating: 25

Karma Kollopy took to the ring next, outlining the official SNP reaction to the chaos that has blighted recent shows.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Karma%20Kollopy%20First_zpsrldds0to.jpg

“Here in SNP, we take pride in being uncompromising. We take pride in being unpredictable. We take pride in being different and not allowing ourselves to be dictated to from outside. We don’t want to ever lose that. All that being said, what has happened to ruin our last two main events can’t be allowed to go unchecked.

I’m going to spell this out and I’m going to make it really, really, really simple. The only people authorised to be at ringside once that bell rings are the participants, officially sanctioned managers and the referee. If anybody else sets foot in the ring tonight when they are not supposed to be there, they will be suspended. Indefinitely. So help me, if anybody, from Mark Carnie all the way down to Lucy Avatar herself does anything out of the ordinary during our main event, I will do everything in my power to break them. Consider yourself warned!"

SNP – The Great Cork Riot 2018

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP%20Logo%20-%20The%20Great%20Cork%20Riot_zpslqci2o96.jpg

Jackie Goldstein: Welcome to The Great Cork Riot 2018! The whole of SNP was rocked by the dramatic conclusion to Out Of It three short weeks ago. Tonight we are in Cork in the south of Ireland to see what sort of fallout there’s going to be. We have a card tonight to make the mouth water. I’m ‘The Alchemist’ Jackie Goldstein and I’m going to talk you through the night’s events with my colleagues Karma Kollopy and, for the first time, the self-proclaimed ‘First Bitch of SNP’, the lovely Ms.Laurel Wreath! Karma, stern words from you just there?!

Karma Kollopy: Look I just hope that we move on from here as a company and that tonight is the first of many more wonderful shows put on by this promotion. There is every reason to believe that tonight will be one for the scrapbooks. Hugh Echoes and Bret Heartbreak will collide once more for the SNP King of Scotland title. This pair have put on bouts to match anything we’ve ever seen here in SNP and tonight, left to their own devices, I’m expecting another classic. That’s not the only title up for grabs tonight, the SNP Dragon Lightweight belt is on the line too – Augustus Bumblescoop defending against Black Hole Son. The title itself is obviously the main prize in this one but given the bad blood that exists between Carnie’s Angels and The Black Lions there are layers to this contest that are not to be underestimated.

Jackie Goldstein: We have two former Kings of Scotland going one on one in Meathead McAullie and ‘The Dude’ Riddick Jordan. I’d like our newest addition to the announce team to give us her thoughts on this one, of course she's also the manager of Maximum Destruction. Laurel Wreath, welcome to the desk and I’ve got to ask, what is the deal with Maximum Destruction and Meathead McAullie?

Laurel Wreath: Thanks for the welcome guys, it’s great to be here. Look, I dinnae wanna say too much about the issues wi’ Meathead and my main man Max D. It’s been a frustrating time for Max but he’s been aroun’ this business a long time. He’ll sort it out. We’ll sort it out! As for tonight’s match, just too close to call, Meathead and Jordan are both proven commodities, I’m excited for it! Bring it on!

Karma Kollopy: And who could forget the man of the moment, Padraig O’Hearne, has a match of his own tonight? Our semi-main event pits O’Hearne against the other half of our Tag Team champions, Alton Vicious. This one has roots in the end of Out Of It when The Black Lions, so often the aggressors, were laid out by O’Hearne, Rohan Kirchner and Lenny Mochin.

Jackie Goldstein: Speaking of O’Hearne and the men with whom he shocked the SNP last month, they are going to be tonight’s guests on AuDibles, the greatest talk show in the history of professional wrestling. That is because it has the greatest talk show host in the history of professional wrestling. That would be me people, ‘The Alchemist’ Jackie Goldstein!

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg

Kitty Katz returns to ringside, alone this time and armed with a loaded t-shirt gun instead of a microphone. She leans suggestively over the ropes and smiles her most sensual of smiles as she fires t-shirts into an appreciative crowd. Between t-shirts she blows kisses. The chants of “Thank you Kitty” grow in volume as the crowd gets hotter. As she fires the last t-shirt, she drops the gun, climbs to the top turnbuckle, spreads her arms and basks in the adulation of the audience.

Angle Rating: 60

Augustus Bumblescoop © w/ Mark Carnie Vs. Black Hole Son (Dragon Lightweight title match)

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Augustus%20Bumblescoop_zpsqocofo9b.jpg w/http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Mark%20Carnie_zpst3cqf4as.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Carl%20Edwards_zpseg1bbw7c.jpg

Carnie and Bumblescoop gel well in this one and the match is well booked with both guys sharing offense and getting up high when the opportunity presents itself (Bumblescoop, as is his wont of late, alludes to a very different type of high whenever he gets a chance). The crowd reacts well to the action, perhaps better than it truly deserved in some regards. Bumblescoop carries much of the match but when he takes a timeout to discuss strategy with Mark Carnie on the apron it is to prove costly. B.H.S. drives a flying knee into the back of Bumblescoop who bumps Mark Carnie off the apron. B.H.S. shows off all of his agility, grabbing Bumblescoop as he comes back off the ropes and using his momentum to roll the champion up and keep his shoulders down long enough for Lucy Avatar to make the 3 count at 6’35. There are still questions about Black Hole Son’s stamina but as he holds the belt over his head (his first title since the MOSC UK Tag Team title way back in 2010) it is difficult not to reflect on the fact that The Black Lions now hold the Dragon Lightweight, Hardcore and Tag Team titles.

Match Rating: 35

Karma Kollopy: The Black Lions continue to roll. Say what you will and I’ve been as critical of these guys as anybody but you just can’t argue with their results. There is a whole lot of gold in that stable right now.

Laurel Wreath: You got that right Karma, momentum is very much on their side, despite the events at Out Of It. Speaking o’ tha' I believe now is the time when we might actually find out a little more abou’ what is goin’ on!

Karma Kollopy: Jackie Goldstein has made his way to the ring now and we’re about to get AuDibles started. I think everybody is waiting to see what these guys have to say.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/AuDibles_zpsqndhkjk3.jpg

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Jackie%20Goldstein_zpsxstdyr67.jpg

Jackie Goldstein is in the ring with a microphone in hand.

Jackie Goldstein: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the greatest talk show in the history of professional wrestling – welcome to AuDibles! My guests tonight are three men who made a real impact at our last show, when they involved themselves in our main event, taking aim at The Black Lions and taking shot after shot after shot. We don’t know why but I, ‘The Alchemist’ Jackie Goldstein, am about to find out.

The lights go out suddenly and ‘Burn’ by The Cure begins to play. After a half minute or so of darkness, the lights suddenly flash back on and Jackie Goldstein starts in surprise as Padraig O’Hearne, Lenny Mochin and Rohan Kirchner stand before him, all holding mics of their own. Goldstein recovers himself.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Lenny%20Mochin_zpsdym6hscd.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Rohan%20Kirchner_zpswdtdpytg.jpg

Jackie Goldstein: Welcome to the show gentlemen. As I’m sure you can imagine, people have got questions for you. Now as the overwhelming majority of these people here will never get to ask the hard questions, it falls to ‘The Alchemist’ to do so. So let’s get to it boys, what made you get involved in the main event at Out Of It, what makes three seemingly intelligent men go after The Black Lions?

Padraig O’Hearne: Last time round The Black Lions stood out here, for the first edition of AuDibles, and spoke about how they got to where they are today. According to those guys, nobody else played a role in developing them. It’s their opinion and, most of the time, I say, everybody is entitled to one. Then Riddick Jordan said something that is going to come back and haunt him. Riddick Jordan said that Ring of Fire Dojo and Ring of Fire itself means less than nothing. Well I take grave issue with that. I’m proud to be a part of SNP and I am grateful for the opportunity that they have given me. Something else that I’m proud of is the fact that I am, at this moment in time, the last person to graduate from Ring of Fire Dojo. Ring of Fire Dojo means something to me. It means something to Lenny and Rohan and a whole bunch of other people. I would not be here in front of you today without British Samurai and Ring of Fire Dojo. They helped to make me who I am because they, like you guys, love professional wrestling. I will be damned if I let some arrogant, mean-spirited, wannabe gangsters drag that through the mud.

Jackie Goldstein: Hey, I can appreciate that, I’m a National School of Wrestling grad myself! What I will say though is that I understand you leading this crusade Padraig, after all you just might be the most noble man in the sport today! Your two accomplices though, not trying to offend guys but I’ve surprised to see you two throwing your muscle behind an ideal! What gives?

Lenny Mochin: I’ve got ears Jackie boy, I hear what people say about me. Lenny Mochin is a mercenary… and yeah, there’s a degree of truth in that. I sure as hell didn’t hook up with Carnie’s Angels because Mark Carnie is such a suave dinner companion. I made a move that suits me. Not for the first or last time in my career. But I want to be really specific about this. Just because I have been known to do things that are motivated by self-interest it doesn’t follow that EVERYTHING I do is motivated by self-interest. I have heart, I have gratitude and the bare-faced facts are that if I owe anybody, anywhere, anything, I owe Ring of Fire Dojo. Plus, let’s be honest, The Black Lions are jerks of some pedigree, I’m going to enjoy cracking them open. Pissing Carnie off is just an added bonus.

Rohan Kirchner: Yeah, I’m pretty similar to Lenny. I don’t want to say that my time with Kourtney in The Koven was a marriage of convenience. She helped me get my career to a new level and I will always owe her for that even if she’s furious with me now. I owe an even bigger debt to British Samurai though, he brought me over here, a raw, naïve kid from South Africa and he gave me the tools I needed to forge this career of mine. For those guys to say that Ring of Fire is less than nothing? Without Ring of Fire I’d be less than nothing!

Jackie Goldstein: Will Kitty Katz still be in your corner Padraig? You guys might still find yourselves a little light on numbers.

Padraig O’Hearne: No. Kitty is my wife and she means more to me than anything. That said, you described this as a crusade earlier and you’re right. We are all graduates of Ring of Fire Dojo. It’s a fairly exclusive club and, for now at least, we don’t need any outsiders. As for numbers… who says we’re finished recruiting?

More ring music hits and Martin Heath makes his way down to ringside while teenage girls scream his name. He joins the others.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Martin%20Heath_zpsnwdz7ild.jpg

Jackie Goldstein: Really? You too Martin? How does effect The Golden Sons, you and Cain Carlile were in the form of your lives, everybody expected you to challenge for the Tag Team titles very, very soon?

Martin Heath: Cain is disappointed naturally but I believe he gets it. My understanding of it is that he has a new tag-team partner in the works already. People forget that I’m not just a Ring of Fire Dojo graduate, I’m a former Ring of Fire Tag Team Champion. This cause, with these guys, is my cause. The Black Lions are all about running their mouth, intimidation. They thought there were no consequences to their actions. Well, they’re about to find out how wrong they were about that!

Jackie Goldstein: Gentlemen, it’s been informative and I thank you for your time. You’ve bitten off a big challenge for yourselves and I hope you won’t live to regret it. Last question, what are you guys calling yourselves? I like the sound of Defenders of the Flame myself.

Padraig O’Hearne: We talked about this and we agree that this group is both a celebration of the past and a vibrant hope for the future. We are The Circle of Fire and anybody who gets in our way is going to discover that when you find yourself in the middle, there is no escape and all you can do is burn!

Angle Rating: 34

Karma Kollopy: Well, well, well, we’ve learned a hell of a lot there about what happened at the end of Out Of It. The Circle of Fire are the latest stable to make a mark here in SNP and The Black Lions have been put on watch.

Laurel Wreath: Absolutely, I don’t think anybody saw this happening in quite the way that it did. I don’t think The Black Lions are likely to back down from a scrap either. Speaking of scraps, Meathead McAullie and Riddick Jordan about to go one-on-one, these guys only know one way to work and that way is the hard way!

Meathead McAullie Vs. Riddick Jordan (Last Man Standing Match)

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Meathead%20McAullie_zpsrxkjdtij.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Riddick%20Jordan_zps0ttcjipk.jpg

The crowd is hot as this wild brawl kicks off between two former Kings of Scotland. The men trade huge clubbing blows, grappling with each other for supremacy. Jordan takes control with a suplex and goes up top for a splash but Meathead alertly raises a boot to catch Jordan right on the chin and regain the momentum. A grinding bear hug keeps McAullie on top and he rocks Riddick Jordan with a series of clothelines and a powerful head butt. Just when it looks as though McAullie is starting to build up a head of steam there’s a surprise attack. It’s Maximum Destruction sliding into the ring when Meathead’s back is turned and unloading upon him with a steel chair. Jordan makes himself scarce (after the performance of the night) and Lucy Avatar abandons the match at 5’47. Max D continues his beatdown momentarily before storming backstage.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Maximum%20Destruction_zpsrewe7aif.jpg

Match rating: 47

Jackie Goldstein: Well it would appear that your client did not get the memo Ms.Wreath! Absolutely demolishing Meathead McAullie from behind there with no regard for the rules laid down earlier tonight!

Laurel Wreath: Look, it’s just a difficult time for Max D, if we can just be reasonable and lenient here I’m sure we can resolve everything.

Karma Kollopy: No Laurel! I’m sorry but enough is enough. We couldn’t have been clearer about this. Maximum Destruction is suspended! I don't even want to discuss it any further.

Jackie Goldstein: Karma K cracking down on the dissenters! Speaking of authority, Mark Carnie is heading ringside.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Mark%20Carnie_zpst3cqf4as.jpg

Mark Carnie enters the ring with a microphone and demands that Lenny Mochin come out and face him like a man. Carnie is stumbling over his words a little and doesn’t seem quite sure what to say but the gist is clear. He’s furious with Lenny Mochin leaving Carnie’s Angels to join The Circle of Fire and he wants Mochin to face his one-time stablemate Konrad Makinen.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Lenny%20Mochin_zpsdym6hscd.jpg

Mochin strides down the ramp to accept the challenge but as he mouths back at Carnie, Makinen races down behind him, knocks him to the ground, kicks him while he’s down and throws him into the ring.

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Konrad%20Maumlkinen_zpswvm8melp.jpg

Lucy Avatar calls for the bell at Mark Carnie’s behest and this unscheduled match begins.

Angle rating: 24

Konrad Makinen w/Mark Carnie Vs. Lenny Mochin

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Konrad%20Maumlkinen_zpswvm8melp.jpg w/http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Mark%20Carnie_zpst3cqf4as.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Lenny%20Mochin_zpsdym6hscd.jpg

Makinen looks every inch a star in this one, his charisma off the charts as he makes the most of his sneak attack here to control the early going. All of Makinen’s athleticism comes to bear as he attacks Mochin from all over, stretching submission holds, awesome aerial assaults and an intricate sequence of chain wrestling that is dizzying enough for those watching without even thinking what it is doing to Mochin. When Mochin does get back into it, it’s purely desperation stuff. Makinen goes for a head scissors that Mochin somehow manages to block and turn into a powerbomb. Mark Carnie tries to distract Mochin by insulting him from the outside but Mochin is enough of a pro to ignore it. When Carnie gets up on the apron though Mochin is inevitably drawn over towards him. Carnie waits until Mochin is close enough to swing for him and drops back down to the safety of the floor. Mochin turns back into a Stockholm Syndrome Superkick from Makinen, who has been lurking with intent. Avatar makes the 3 count at 9’46 and Konrad Makinen picks up another victory and extends his unbeaten record.

Match rating: 40

Jackie Goldstein: A very, very pertinent reminder that in the midst of The Black Lions and The Circle of Fire, Carnie’s Angels will not stand idly by on the sidelines.

Karma Kollopy: Konrad Makinen is not the kind of guy who’ll stand idly by anywhere for very long! That was a fine match though, no disgrace for Lenny Mochin, the numbers game and the X factor that is Mark Carnie just caught up with him in the end.

Laurel Wreath: Konrad Makinen is a specimen and a half. There is a war going on here in SNP and there are more sides to it than anyone truly realises. Where does King of Scotland Hugh Echoes fit into all of this?

Jackie Goldstein: A question for later on Ms.Wreath. Right now we are going to see the first official collision between The Black Lions and The Circle of Fire. Alton Vicious, one half of the current tag Team champions, is about to pit his skills up against the man of the moment, Padraig O’Hearne.

Karma Kollopy: The Phoenix Padraig O’Hearne, rising from the ashes of Ring of Fire. In front of a partisan Irish crowd tonight, the biggest crowd SNP has drawn yet in Ireland, I have been looking forward to this one since it was announced!

Alton Vicious Vs. Padraig O’Hearne

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Alton%20Vicious_zpshhz1lbr8.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpg

The crowd are super hot for this one and the star quality of both men helps to carry the contest. Goldstein and Kollopy are turning into an excellent pair as well, adding to the sense of grandeur as this bout builds to a crescendo. Both men pull out big moves, Vicious holding O’Hearne up in the air effortlessly with a press slam, O’Hearne countering with a missile dropkick that looks unbelievably violent. A clothesline from The Black Lion almost takes O’Hearne’s head off. Vicious is caught going upstairs and superplexed to the centre of the ring. Vicious hits a running powerslam, O’Hearne a vertical suplex. It’s an even, gripping contest but for a finish it’s O’Hearne who gets a very meaningful victory, pulling Crowning Glory out of nowhere to secure the win at 11’48.

Match rating: 46

Karma Kollopy: The Circle of Fire have ignited. That is a huge statement of intent from Padraig O’Hearne!

Jackie Goldstein: if The Black Lions didn’t realise they were in a real battle here, they certainly do now.

Laurel Wreath: Padraig O’Hearne is coming of age before us. Though, not to spoil the mood or anything, I think it likely that The Black Lions still have some bite left. I’ve been ringside against them before and they can take plenty of punishment! There’s no give in them.

Jackie Goldstein: Speaking of people who will lay it all out on the line, it is time for our main event. The SNP King of Scotland title is up for grabs. Bret Heartbreak, the most precocious of all our young talents here, gets another opportunity at Hugh Echoes, the mysterious King of Scotland.

Karma Kollopy: The first time these guys met, it was the greatest match in the history on SNP. Watching these guys wrestle is like watching a piece of fine art.

Laurel Wreath: I don’t know about you guys but I’m excited!

Hugh Echoes © Vs. Bret Heartbreak (SNP King of Scotland title match)

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Hugh%20de%20Aske_zpsg8cy82yu.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpghttp://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Bret%20Heartbreak_zps3aqc6jjw.jpg

The crowd are at boiling point for this one and the two competitors give it everything with the biggest prize in the company at stake. Echoes’ charisma and Heartbreak’s burgeoning star quality add to the mixture and as both this pair can wrestle extremely well the whole competition is a treat for an audience that just laps it up. Heartbreak is on the defensive early on as the champion threatens to overwhelm him. Byron’s progeny is nothing if not resolute however and he takes to the outside of the ring to recover. Echoes follows him but walks into a drop toe hold. Heartbreak batters the champion, only briefly returning to the ring to break Lucy Avatar's count. He sets up a table outside the ring and places Echoes on it. Bret returns to the ring and, with anticipation rising fast in the crowd, scales to the top turnbuckle. Just before he can take off though, Echoes, showing all the instinct of a champion, rolls off the table and spoils the move. The crowd and Bret Heartbreak are both disappointed. The action goes back and forth from back inside the ring with both men scoring near falls. Eventually, with Echoes on his knees, Heartbreak climbs up top again. This time the Belgian born King of Scotland is up fast, scaling to the second turnbuckle himself and shoving Bret Heartbreak hard. Heartbreak goes flying backwards, taking a bump through the table he himself had set up earlier. Echoes wastes no time, dragging his foe back into the ring, inflicting a cut throat driver and picking up the win via pinfall at 11’02 to retain his title.

Match rating: 52

Jackie Goldstein: Another stellar showing from Hugh Echoes and Bret Heartbreak but the result, she stays the same. Hugh Echoes is still the SNP King of Scotland and he has held that title for in around half a year now.

Laurel Wreath: Absolutely Jackie but as hard as he’s been worked to keep the gold around his waist until now, you’ve got to feel that it is not going to get any easier for him going forward. It’s been another night of outstanding action here in SNP, titles have changed hands, old alliances have been fractured and new coalitions have come into the light.

Karma Kollopy: Another night of intrigue and action, in just under three weeks we’ll be doing it all again at Clash of the Clans 4. There are so many permutations, so many questions and so many possibilities. I can’t wait! Hugh Echoes is celebrating his victory in the ring but as we leave Cork tonight I think that just as many people will be talking about the emergence of The Circle of Fire when they go home tonight!

With 4 prizes announced there's still all to play for going into the next show! I also like the suggestion that was made re: Cobra Vs. Notorious F.R.E.A.K. and will definitely book that at some stage.</p><p> </p><p>

I also experimented with shorter match reports on this one. What are people's thoughts? Never let it be said that SNP ignore our audience! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Thanks again to everybody who has commented (in addition to those mentioned above who have predicted I know that Dr_Avalanche was kind enough to leave a message of encouragement. I have the next couple of editions of Thistle Talk pretty much written up. As always if anybody would like to PM me anything for Questioning Kollopy it would be appreciated. Either way, keep on reading, Clash of the Clans is potentially going to be epic! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Great show! The explanation for the Circle of Fire makes sense, so I'm on board. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I think the match length worked as well. You were able to get across the main action and mechanics of the matches without the action being repetitive. It's a hard balancing act to do, but I could picture what was going on in my head.</p><p> </p><p>

I'll PM my question for Thistle Talk. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>I thought I had posted this before, but I guess not, but when you posted your first Thistle Talk after Hardcore War, I thought the "Questioning Kollopy" segment was great. The way you wrote it really felt natural and like an actual interview. The answers given felt real, where you're being open, but also guarding stuff too.</p><p> </p><p>

As for The Great Cork Riot</p><p> </p><p>

- Happy to see B.H.S. pick up the victory. Now I'm really curious if Black Lion will hold all the belts at some point or if they're going to come just short of it.</p><p> </p><p>

- Really excited to see The Circle of Fire. ROF was always one of my favorite companies in the old games. I'm hoping this leads to British Samurai making some type of appearance!</p><p> </p><p>

- Speaking of the Circle, I was surprised to see Padraig pick up the win, but after seeing the group formation, it makes sense. They need a good kick to start things off. I'm interested in seeing how Black Lions will respond to them.</p><p> </p><p>

- Overall, another great show. Excited to see how Clash of the Clans is gonna play out!</p><p> </p><p>

As for the match lengths, I think you're in a good spot with them. Not too long, but long when needed (Like for the main event, granted it's just one show, but I think they're good) and you hit the high spots of the match.</p>

<p>Thistle Talk 005 - Saturday, Week 1 June, 2018</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP_zpsc0w5yeji.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Thistle%20Talk_zps1o3itxgk.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Fallout from The Great Cork Riot:</strong></span></p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/SNP%20Logo%20-%20The%20Great%20Cork%20Riot_zpslqci2o96.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Hugh%20de%20Aske_zpsg8cy82yu.jpg</span></p><p>

1. Hugh Echoes makes his 7th successful defence of his King of Scotland title to stay on top of the mountain. This is the SNP though and there are no shortage of challengers circling for position. Konrad Makinen, Meathead McAullie, Riddick Jordan and Padraig O’Hearne are just some of the competitors whose recent form will have them believing that they deserve a chance at toppling Echoes.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Padraig%20OHearne_zpsj1a9kjrs.jpg</span></p><p>

2. Speaking of O’Hearne, the emergence of Circle of Fire has had far-reaching consequences. In addition to the obvious clash that is brewing between COF and The Black Lions, Na Fianna, The Golden Sons, The Koven and Carnie’s Angels are all down a member. Kittz Katz have already moved quickly, recruiting Blackheart to her banner and Cain Carlile is reputed to have found a new tag-team partner as well. It remains to be seen how Mark Carnie and Kourtney will react to the gaps on their client list.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Maximum%20Destruction_zpsrewe7aif.jpg</span></p><p>

3. Maximum Destruction has been suspended as SNP attempts to crack down upon excessive anarchy at our shows. Only time will tell if this is the beginning of a new era or a once-off.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Carl%20Edwards_zpseg1bbw7c.jpg</span></p><p>

4. Black Hole Son has finally lived up to the standards expected of The Black Lions. The Dragon Lightweight Division is nothing if not competitive though and keeping the title may prove even trickier than capturing it.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Profile – Managers:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Khloe_zpse3ulqitj.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Khloe:</strong> The SNP fan-turned-manager was first seen accompanying The Funke Bunch to ringside as a dancer. Her first came with Augustus Bumblescoop in a relationship that, with hindsight, failed to really elevate either party. After Bumblescoop unceremoniously cast her aside there were whispers that we may have seen the last of Khloe at an SNP ring. Credit to the girl though, she rallied and recruited anew. Phil Bridge was struggling for momentum too and came readily enough and she’s since added a pair of big men to her stable (Khloe’s Kastoffs) in the shape of The Pulveriser and Alessandro Caesar.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kitty%20Katz_zpsbcbejke8.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Kitty Katz:</strong> The ravishing, young Irish woman has been a part of the managerial ranks here in SNP for over three years now. Her relationship with Padraig O’Hearne, which would eventually culminate in a marriage in the ring, has been the highlight of her career here to date. She recruited fellow Irishman Matthew Macks to her cause as well and that pair, as Na Fianna, have collected a pair of runs as Tag Team champions. She has also managed Macks to Dragon Lightweight gold. While O’Hearne is currently operating without a manager as the de facto leader of Circle of Fire, Katz still has Matthew Macks on her books and has recently recruited the raw but promising Blackheart.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Kourtney_zps1ux92wfp.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Kourtney:</strong> Kourtney’s first appearances with SNP were as part of the Funke Bunch’s entourage. She was hired in her own right in January 2016 and started managing Axl Grease. Despite suggestions that she was going to leave him for Maxwell Bleak, the Grease-Kourtney axis would last for a long time, with Kourtney supplementing her ranks with the recruitment of Rohan Kirchner and Rhys Vali and later Jimmi Addams in The Koven. For a time it looked as though The Koven would be the vehicle in which Kourtney would climb to the top but recent events have stalled her progress. Vali was released and, after a dispiriting defeat to Khloe’s Kastoffs, Grease cast aside. Now that Kirchner has decamped to Circle of Fire, Kourtney is down to just Jimmi Addams and needs to perhaps reappraise her situation.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Laurel%20Wreath_zps50vhpjqk.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Laurel Wreath:</strong> Laurel Wreath has been here since day 1 and is the self-proclaimed ‘First Bitch’ of SNP. Maximum Destruction has been her sole focus since the beginning of the Karma Kollopy era with Wreath also finding the time to feud (successfully) against the now departed Joy. Recently seen on the announce desk and somewhat in limbo due to the uncertain future awaiting her client. Laurel Wreath can take care of herself though and will find a way of ending up on top one way or the other.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Mark%20Carnie_zpst3cqf4as.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>Mark Carnie: </strong>The creator of SNP, Mark Carnie spent the promotion’s formative year and a half or so behind the announce desk. With the emergence of The Black Lions as a force Carnie decided to take a more direct involvement in things. Recruiting Lenny Mochin and Notorious F.R.E.A.K. to his cause, he managed that duo to a brief run as Tag Team champions. Over time, the slightly over the top, over-sexualised, flamboyant gimmick of the original Carnie’s Angels was diluted with the recruitment of Colin Picalo and the poaching of Augustus Bumblescoop. Both men have won singles titles under Carnie’s management. Konrad Makinen has also had a spectacular impact and while F.R.E.A.K. was cast out and Mochin defected to Circle of Fire, Carnie’s Angels remain right at the centre of the battle for SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Roster updates:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/PGHW_zps0fpprtta.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Hugh%20de%20Aske_zpsg8cy82yu.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

PGHW have offered another touring contract to SNP King of Scotland Hugh Echoes. Echoes previously toured with the group between October of 2017 and February of this year. Echoes has signed on for the as yet unnamed tour with the Japanese group.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Maximum%20Destruction_zpsrewe7aif.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p>

We can confirm that Maximum Destruction has been suspended indefinitely by SNP for his interference in the Meathead McAullie Vs. Riddick Jordan match at The Great Cork Riot 2018. More details will follow as we get them.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Clash of the Clans 4 – Preview.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

As newcomers may not be aware now is as good a time as any to remind viewers of the unique nature of Clash of the Clans. The core of this show centres around the concept of 3 Vs. 3. This year it has been decided that the four main groups in SNP will enter teams of three into two semi-finals with the winning teams meeting in a final that will double up as our main event. Those teams will be announced next week.</p><p> </p><p>

There will also be a Dragon Lightweight title match, provisionally being heralded as a fatal 4-way match. We know that Black Hole Son will be in this one but the others will also be announced next week.</p><p> </p><p>

Cain Carlile and his new tag team partner are slated to make their debut.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Padraig O’Hearne & The Inferno Vs. Konrad Makinen & The Creepy Crawlies w/Mark Carnie</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The Circle of Fire are the new kids on the block here and they will know that there is no better way of making an early impact than by winning Clash of the Clans. Standing in their way will be Mark Carnie and his squad. Lenny Mochin and Rohan Kirchner have announced that they will be forming a tag-team called The Inferno and they may find themselves getting very well acquainted with The Creepy Crawlies going forward. This match has the potential to set the momentum going forward for all parties involved. Neither side will want to lose this one.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Dwayne Dark & The Northern Lights Vs. Hugh Echoes & Two unannounced partners</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

With all the hype surrounding the shock emergence of Circle of Fire it’s easy to forget the pedigree of The Black Lions themselves AND that they were already engaged in a bitter battle with Hugh Echoes when all of this blew up. This match will pit the current Tag Team and Hardcore champions together against Hugh Echoes and two as-yet-unannounced partners. It could be the beginning of the coming together of Echoes’ often hinted at ‘master plan’. Or another step in The Black Lions absolute dominance of SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

Only one of these four teams can emerge victorious from Clash of the Clans. The momentum of Circle of Fire, the experience of Carnie’s Angels, the championship pedigree of The Black Lions or the unknown mystery factor of Hugh Echoes and whoever he brings with him.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Black Hole Son © w/Mark Carnie Vs. Matthew Macks w/Kitty Katz Vs. Neville Jones Vs. Martin Heath</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Black Hole Son took the scenic route to get championship gold around his waist. The hard work starts now though as he has to face into a ladder match with three former holders of the Dragon Lightweight title. All of these guys can really go and all of them will feel like they have something to prove. Macks will want to prove that he can do it without Padraig O’Hearne in his corner, Neville Jones still has aspirations of being the first 3 time Dragon Lightweight champion and Martin Heath’s chief goal right now is to help put Circle of Fire on the map.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Bali%20Daljit_zpshopo5fxt.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Sharif_zpsuvoahcin.jpg</span><p>

<strong>Bali Daljit Vs. Sharif (pre-show)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Sharif is still trying to prove his worth to The Black Lions. There is no doubt that a win over the talented Bali Daljit would go some way towards quietening his many critics in the SNP Army. Daljit, for his part, as a ROF Dojo graduate, might view a successful feud with Sharif as his ticket to membership of COF and the big time after a lack of consistency has dogged his SNP run thus far.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cain Carlile & Partner Vs. The Funke Bunch</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Given that he has shown enough potential to suggest that he could cut it as a singles star, there’s something very admirable about former Dragon Lightweight champion Cain Carlile’s determination to make a mark on the tag team ranks. Having previously teamed with some distinction with both Maxwell Bleak and Martin Heath, Carlile has wasted little time in getting back on the tag team horse. His new partner will be introduced at Clash of the Clans in a bout against two-time Tag Team champions The Funke Bunch. The Funkes have spent plenty of time recently railing against new, young teams “trying to take our spot”. They’ve been extremely dismissive of The Misfits on social media of late and are adamant that Carlile’s newest attempt at tag team glory will be derailed before it even gets out of the station.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Cobra_zpskrzxuezi.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Versus_zpsola8jkdj.jpg</span><span>http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/ah283/DarEatWorld/Jimmi%20Addams_zpsnk8qnwtp.jpg</span><p>

<strong>Cobra Vs. Jimmi Addams w/Kourtney</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

There are whispers that Mark Carnie is paying close attention to this one with an eye on bolstering the membership of Carnie’s Angels to replace Lenny Mochin. Cobra, of course, is no stranger to Mochin, having had an epic series of battles against him. The former Hardcore champion has undoubted quality but has yet to really find any allies in the 2 years+ he’s been with SNP. In the other corner, Jimmi Addams has been unbeaten in singles competition since his arrival early this year and while he’s been confined mostly to pre-shows he’s been raising eyebrows with the quality of his performances. As the last of Kourtney’s clients, she’ll be quite anxious about the rumours herself!</p><p> </p><p>

With 11 points to play for it's still there for anybody to win. Current leaderboard is as follows:</p><p> </p><p>

Atticus: 9.5</p><p>

MrWolf101: 9</p><p>

The Lloyd: 4</p><p>

Spud1305: 2</p><p>

KnowYourEnemy: 0</p><p> </p><p>

Also, I have played Clash of the Clans 4 through already and I'm writing it up now. I can honestly say that it was my favourite show yet. Had my first match changed on the fly, I had to change the stipulation in one match because a wrestler refused to play ball, there's two injuries at the end of it all, it was dramatic and I hope you guys will enjoy it when it does go up.</p>

Tough call, but I think the Black Lions need the win more. Based on who I picked as the partners, I think McAullie takes the fall after an attack by Max D.

Bonus Question: Who will be Echoes' partners - 2 points available, 1 for each partner.

Breat Heartbreaker and Meathead McAullie

Just thinking that two top stars need a place in the card, and both have issues with the Black Lions

Clash of the Clans final - Scottish Dungeon Match - 3 points for predicting the winning team

Circle of Fire

Very tough, but if COF are going to be big, they can use the win as a launching pad.

Ladder match for Dragon Lightweight Title - 1 point for predicting the winner

Black Hole Son w/Mark Carnie Vs. Martin Heath Vs. Matthew Macks Vs. Neville Jones

Really a toss up here, but went with BHS just because I think he needs at least one title defense before losing.

Bali Daljit Vs. Sharif - 1 point

Only because he is a member of the Black Lions

Cain Carlile & New Partner Vs. The Funke Bunch - 1 point

I'm going to go with Blackheart as the tag partner.

Cobra Vs. Jimmi Addams w/Kourtney - 1 point

I was thinking Cobra at first, but Jimmi's win streak has better potential right now.
