sportsfanmas
Still need help finding a storyline link. I used to have one where the storylines where nice and laid out in a text file so that I could just look and see how to do them. I don't have those anymore and can't remember where I got them. The only thing I can find that I can actually download is the Megapack III which came from Sonfaro? But I have no idea how it works, seems like I have to extract it or something. If anybody at all can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
Beejus
TEW doesn't use pre-set storylines anymore. It was a flawed system that was more of a headache than it was worth to fix.

It wasn't anything you exported into the game, it just told you how to do the storyline and you still had to make the angles and the matches and stuff like that. Surely someone knows what I'm talking about?
Dr_Avalanche
I don't, but now I am also curious to see this document. Inspiration for storylines is something I struggle with.

As for the removal of the plotted storylines (like in TEW2010) I understand why they were removed, but sometimes I wish there was some kind of structure. I'm not sure what it should look like though to both make sense, simulate reality and be fun, all at the same time...

Koholos
Wow, those are super handy for getting an idea of how real storylines are run. Makes me realize I could probably stretch my storylines an extra month or two.

That is definitely one of them. I also remember having another one that I think had a lot more storylines listed, but 28 in a small fed is a good place to start. I can use all 28 and by the time I do, enough time will have passed that I can just use them again if I choose.

cappyboy
Been working on getting my old Cappy Pack in this format and cobbling some new stuff together as well. Got sidetracked for a while but should be able to come back firing once the holiday is over. So I hope to have those in the mix soon

The_Monk
so the Jjlvg storylines are great, creating storylines aren't an issue for me but the whole understanding how to run them kinda is so these are really good fro that.

Only question I have are the storylines that are in "Parts" example under the MP_II storylines theres the "Single White Psycho" storyline base on Micky James and Trish Status. But theres 5 parts to it?. My question is would you do part one as a Storyline, complete all segments and end that storyline, and then start part two as a new storyline?

If anyone has the packs take a look at MP_II and stories WWE_63 to 67

Also what do the (S1) & (P1) etc mean for example

Segment 1: Manager makes Body Slam Challenge (S3) (Angle)

Segment 23: Hero v Villain III - Hero wins (P5) (Match)

I think im guessing that the S & P represent show and PPV so S1 would be show 1 (P5) would be PPV5

thanks
jtnlange
Correct. S is for show and P is PPV. I use these as more a guideline then a strict follow through. You can always Improvise.

Trevor
shawn michaels
Speaking of Storylines there used to be some Angle packs and gimmicks packs for TEW13. Does everyone know if anyone already converted them for 16? If so, can I have some links, please? Haven't been able to find them yet. They were first introduced in the PBS (Panix Bracket System) story mod back in 2008 and some modders afterward like me kept using those notations because it made pacing easier to figure out. If you have it named like Sample Story (W4 A3 M5) that's meant to suggest the writer envisions it running four weeks and that it contains 3 angles and five matches.
