[RWC 2016' - RTG] UK Superstars of Wrestling - Prophet

Hello everyone, some of you might know me from my previous attempt to write a dynasty. For those who don't know, I'm Pedro, I'm 23 years old, portuguese and currently live in London. I've been booking since 2006/2007 and already wrote some diaries in my mother language - Portuguese. Since I want to improve my english this can be a great way to do it and to pratice while having some fun.

Dynasty Concept

In this dynasty I will attempt the Road To Glory Challenge. For the ones who are unfamiliar with this challenge just visit the following link - http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=533682

I will try to keep things simple and don't write too much in the beginning of the dynasty since I want it to be last longing and to reach the main goal. This is also my first gameplay in TEW 2016 so probably I will do a lot of mistakes. I'm using the Real World Chronicles July 2016 database. I will write on-the-fly, so you can call this more a save game than a dynasty to begin with.

(Click any of the pictures to see the skills)

In order to begin the challenge I created a character slightly based on myself. A Portuguese young man, living in London, attempts to find a spot in the wrestling industry. He has a mask of 0% prestige, 0 pop and follows all the rules imposed by the RTG Challenge.

Created Company

UK Superstars of Wrestling

I've found the logo on google and the company does exist in real life, but since it wasn't in the game I decided to use it so the product, owner and roster doesn't have anything to do with the real company. The created federation follows all the rules of the RTG-Challenge, 0 popularity, 0 prestige, 0 momentum, no owner and 1,000$ in the bank. I won't present the product because as soon as we have a owner it might change.

The founder and ex-owner of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance gave a special interview to the Wrestle Ropes website where he spoke about this new project.

"After the death of my father the FWA academy was the place where I could be myself training younger superstars, but for the most various reasons I had to close it down, the poor attitude of the students was one of the main reasons. These students would stay there for a couple of weeks/months and then leave in order to pursue higher heights claiming that they were trained by me in order to get work. Afterwards I continued to train young people in smaller groups - to my happiness of course. But I would like to give a more realistic feeling to those uprising superstars.

As you may be aware of, I sell wrestling/MMA merchandise, fitness supplements and print services under the business name A-Merchandise. The business is flowing and I'm proud to say that I'm running one of the best sellers websites in all Europe - if not the best. Now I feel it's time to invest, it's time to give myself a last opportunity in the business, to return something to the fans and also to give a platform to these young wrestlers to evolve in front of an audience. That's the purpose of UK: Superstars of Wrestling."

When asked about the product that the UK: Superstars of Wrestling would present, "The Specialist" replied.

"I like small wrestlers, fast-paced, technical matches. But this isn't FWA anymore. Everyone will have a place on the roster. I will try to stick to a Traditional style of wrestling with a touch of Realism. But you'll have to wait in order to see. Everything is still open to discussion and I will adapt the product as needed and required. That's why I want to start from a local perspective. I'm in this business for about 20 years and I have my feet on earth. I'm not rich and we will start very small. Most likely it will take a couple of years to reach bigger audiences and that has a good side. Despite of having a lot of friends in the industry, you don't mix friendship with business, there are a lot of active and attractive companies in South England where we will present our shows so it's quite hard to captivate fans and those bigger superstars without paying large sums of money in advertising and salaries."

The UK: Superstars of Wrestling still hasn't a debut date, but Sloan invited the fans to stay tuned in for further announcements under the recently created website uksuperstarsofwrestling.co.uk , and despite of being a small company the legendary UK indy wrestler can count on Wrestle Ropes support and advertising. That's everything for today. Stay tuned for more British Wrestling News!

OOC: Now I have an owner and what an interesting one. He isn't going to take any money and is great to have such and experienced wrestler on the roster for free. I'm excited about it.

UK:SW EVIL THAT MEN DO 2016

The first show of UK: Superstars of Wrestling already has a name, a date and a card! The show will happen on Saturday, Week 4, July 2016. And Mark Sloan announced his initial roster and card for this event.

http://i.imgur.com/JgtJ9p4.jpghttp://www.costcocarcar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/vs-150x150.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/UqyxSpH.jpg

In the opening bout and debut of UK:SW, Sam Wilder - who recently changed his attitude - will face off Prophet on his first ever wrestling match.

In the second match of the night some weird things might happen as the master of Martial Arts Babyfaced Pitbull will fight against the "probably possesed and occult" Rubix Roach.

In the first main event ever of UK: SW, the owner and founder of the company, Mark Sloan, put himself on a match for the British Grand Champion Title - some say, he is already using his power to grant him sucess - against the always partying, always dancing, disco master, Liam Slater. Who will be the first champion of the UK: SW history?

UK:SW DEMONS AND CURSES 2016

PREVIEW

http://i.imgur.com/QChr2OP.jpghttp://www.costcocarcar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/vs-150x150.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/UqyxSpH.jpg

In the opening bout, Liam Slater will face the rookie Prophet. On the last show, Liam Slater was "cursed" by Rubix Roach and some say that's why he hasn't won the British Grand Champion title, he is the favourite to win against the rookie who cheated on the first match of his career to grab the win. Will the curse show any signs? Or does Rubix Roach has mental problems?

http://i.imgur.com/h9MQTtf.jpghttp://www.costcocarcar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/vs-150x150.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/JgtJ9p4.jpg

After the victory from Babyfaced Pitbull over Rubix Roach on the last show, he spoke about Sloan's fear to face him and that he should be the one on the main-event that night, fighting for the title. Sloan just ignored him so Babyfaced Pitbull will try to keep showing the fans why he should be the one facing Sloan that night in the hopes of getting the chance to face the British Grand Champion. On the other corner Sam Wilder will have a very though time. After being unlucky and losing to a rookie last show - despite of Prophet cheating - he will certainly try to grab his first win.

http://i.imgur.com/CNTSD0r.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/LVvfNHt.jpghttp://www.costcocarcar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/vs-150x150.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/EEzOPQB.jpg

In the main-event of the Demons and Curses 2016, Mark Sloan shows that he is a fighting champion - despite of the Babyfaced Pitbull's comments - and will face the weird Rubix Roach. A match that surely will have a great story to tell, the champion will try to make his first defence. Sloan also commented that you can never expect what Rubix Roach can do in the ring since he might have mental problems or real super powers. Some say that he is only trying to make this match look credible and that he is scared of facing Babyfaced Pitbull and will use all of his power to avoid facing him.

ANGLE: Prophet does a promo on Liam Slater upcoming their match. He said that he his one of a kind, the best around a wrestling god. Attacked the fans saying that he was too good to be around UK:SW and to perfom in front of them.

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Prophet defeated Liam Slater in 12:22 by pinfall. In this match, Liam Slater felt the effects of the curse set by Rubix Roach, when he was about to win he simply froze. ANGLE: Babyfaced Pitbull complains again about not getting a title shot on this show. In a decent match, Mark Sloan defeated Rubix Roach in 20:19 by pinfall with a Specialist Driver following interference from Liam Slater. Mark Sloan makes defence number 1 of his UK:SW Grand British Champion title. After the match, Slater kept asking to Sloan how could he break the curse but he was ignored as Sloan celebrated his title defense.

SINGLES MATCH; LIAM SLATER VS. SAMMY SMOOTH

In the third show of the UK:SW history, the haunted Liam Slater will try to break the curse that Rubix Roach set upon him and win against the Ladies Man, Sammy Smooth. After being used by Sloan in the last show, Slater certainly hopes to get a win and break the curse. On the other corner, Sammy Smooth comes in a one-night-only deal to the UK: Superstars of Wrestling and wants to leave a good impression in order to get more work around the British Isles.

BRITISH GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT; MARK SLOAN VS. SAM WILDER

In the second match of the Fear and Loathing 2016, Mark Sloan will continue his habit of defending the title against lower-tier wrestlers. This time he will face Sam Wilder. Despite of this month having a easy match, Sloan will have to keep an eye on the Main-Event, he can't avoid Babyfaced Pitbull forever.

SINGLES MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDER SPOT; BABYFACED PITBULL VS. PROPHET

On the nights main-event, Babyfaced Pitbull will face Prophet on singles action. Both already have 2 victories on SW:UK and will fight for the contendership to the British Grand Title. Can Prophet surprise everybody on his first main-event bout ever? Or will Babyfaced Pitbull finally get a way to face Mark Sloan?

ANGLE: Babyfaced Pitbull opened the show. He was speaking of Mark Sloan tactics, the UK:SW management, when Mark Sloan came out. Sloan was in the entrance and got all the attention from Babyfaced Pitbull. He said that he will be granted his shot and that it's fair that he faces a wrestler that has the same amount of victories for the contendership. Pitbull was about to reply when he was attacked by Prophet from behind. Sloan left with a smile on his face and Prophet sent out a message.

In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Sammy Smooth defeated Liam Slater in 11:41 by pinfall after Slater picked up an injury at his foot. BRITISH GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT; MARK SLOAN VS. PROPHET

In the night's Main Event, Mark Sloan will try to make his third defense of the British Grand Title against the rookie Prophet. Prophet got this opportunity after "defeating" Babyfaced Pitbull - who is sidelined for this show. The referee was bought by Mark Sloan and granted the victory to Prophet, anyway, things can turn against Sloan as the rookie already showed signs of being an able competitor.

JANUARY 2017

UK: Superstars of Wrestling - 6 Month In-Review

Welcome to 2017! 6 months after the debut of UK: Superstars of Wrestling it's time to take a look at what happened in the company.

The biggest fans of UK: Superstars of Wrestling noticed that the company hasn't run her monthly event in December. Mainly because of the poor finances and but the christmas season also being a reason. So the company had a total of 5 shows in the first 6 months.

In this first 6 months, Mark Sloan has been the reigning champion of UK: SW. He is by far the most popular wrestler that the company has and the best in-ring perfomer. He was the main focus of the booking and stared almost all main-event. Only missed one main-event for storyline purposes where Babyfaced Pitbull was granted the spotlight in a match against Prophet - where Pitbull lost. The storyline between Mark Sloan and Babyfaced Pitbull is close to an end after Sloan finally agreeing to face the challenger for the title or his career on the November event - "Welcome to the Isle of Sheppey".

We also had time for a sub-storyline with comedy/fantasy purposes for the younger audience. Liam Slater vs. Rubix Roach. On the first event of the company a curse was set upon the "mighty dancer" Liam Slater. Slater was used by Sloan to keep Pitbull off his back. And lost 3 matches in a row against Prophet, Sammy Smooth and Sam Wilder. He found out that the only way to break the curse was to beat Rubix Roach in a match. He interfered in a match of Rubix Roach and got his chance to break the curse, which he has sucessfully done. After the match, Rubix Roach promised a comeback to UK: Superstars of Wrestling and it has been confirmed that he won't be in the next shows of the company.

In terms of company relationships UK: SW already has some hostility with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Scottish Wrestling Alliance and NWA: Smoky Mountain Wrestling apparently for mis-using the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jax Dane. Who was used in a match in November against Mark Sloan. Mark Sloan almost defeating the Champion took a lot of his credibility in the NWA's companies perspective.

Anyway, now it's time to look to 2017. The local british federation will write more history and a card for their event in January should be announced any time soon.

http://www.bipolarlifestyles.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/100208154645-large1-150x100.jpg

Finances and Popularity

UK: SW is in debt at the moment. With negative 3, 350$ thing look bad for the local company. Despite of having a profit of 1,275$ in the month of December when no show was held the local federation still has a long way to see profit or at least enough profit to get out of the red.

Not everything is bad news. Even with the wrestling industry slump in the British Isles, UK: SW has managed to get to 3 popularity in Southern England, which doesn't seem a big number for now but given the slump they should be very happy about it.

There is another problem to be taken into account. Production Values. For two consecutive shows that the federation loses in Overall Show Rating because of it. An improvement is impossible given the company financial status and is something that can't be adressed for the moment.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Frontiergfx/Prophet_zpszpprcsev.jpg

User Character

Prophet has been with UK: SW since debut. He's the head booker alongside with Mark Sloan despite of the fans only knowing it behind the scenes to maintain the kayfabe. The approval rating is still excelent and he has a couple of goals to reach but only one expires in 2017. "You can't hire any wrestler who is classed as Psycopath". But will Prophet stay with UK: SW forever? Probably not. Ambition is one of the major traits or defect from this young wrestler\booker, despite of his reputation still being Very Low.

It was a great debut year for Prophet, he had a total of 5 matches and only lost 2 of them for storyline purposes. One of which was a title bout against Mark Sloan. He lost but had his highest rating of 36. 25 is his average.

In terms of skill improvement, Prophet had a raise of 2 values in each skill, something of the sort. Which is good in 6 months.
