The_Monk
I know written contracts get annoyed if you leave them off shows/ppvs and that's kind of understandable. However do PPA contracts get annoyed in the same way?
stiffkick80
Depends on their push and personality type, not really on their contract. So a Main Event PPA will still probably get annoyed, lower will too if they're egotistical, etc.
Donners
Definitely. I turned it off very quickly.
DarEatWorld
In my experience (SNP in C-Verse) it's been the guys closer to the top of the card who get annoyed at being left off cards. It's a fair enough reflection of reality IMO. If I'm a Main Eventer in SNP I'm probably counting on that money to pay my rent/mortage/hookers/whatever every month.

I would like if there was a little more detail involved though, like if I want somebody to work an injury angle there should be a way to convey that. Or if somebody has/had recent injury worries it would be a good addition that I could tell them I want to bring them back slowly or whatever.

Overall though I think that the system works pretty well as it is. I think it's more understandable that a PPA guy would freak out over not being booked than a Written guy given that $0 is not much of an income.
James Casey
By and large, the following applies regardless of contract:

Main eventers should be used at least 1 in every 2 shows

UMCs should be used at least 1 in every 3 shows

MC, 1 in 4

LMC, 1 in 5

And so on. Those aren't hard and fast (and everyone should make the season finale, even if in a pre-show multi-man match) but they're a decent guide for how often a worker will expect to appear.

Whereas a written worker although is getting bigger money they are locked to the company and thus cant showcase else where so they need to be on the shows so that makes sense they get the hump.

The fact that I could be going and working elsewhere would seem irrelevant enough to me if SNP didn't bother using me (I wouldn't assume that SNP are keeping me fresh for other challenges either). You're not really getting tangible exposure if you're not working in any case. The overwhelming majority of my SNP roster don't work for anybody else anyway, for most of my guys if I don't use them their wrestling income for the month is wiped out.

I take the point about there being some fee regardless of if they're used or not but I still feel that wrestlers, like anybody else, are entitled to squeal if their income (or in some cases ego) is hit.
