moafnsteel
http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/Ryan_Cucunato/SWF%202005/Logos/SWFAttitude_zpsx66pz5p7.jpg The year is 2005 and SWF continues to reign supreme. TCW has recently been making head way in catching up with SWF and the upstart of USPW has been making waves. DAVE also continues to go strong. In order to stay on top Richard has announced the opening of APEX Wrestling to help train the stars of tomorrow. The CEO of APEX is Crippler Ray Kingman and the head booker was given to Cueball Lynch. World has been spreading the SWF has recently sent out multiple feelers trying to obtain the best and brightest indy stars to join APEX. Also in news, SWF has sent out multiple offers to big name indy stars to join SWF to help beef up their rosters. It has been said that some of the offers were merely to keep certain stars away from TCW, only time will tell. Some of you may know that I have attempted multiple diaries and seem to fail every time. I am taking a different approach to this diary. I do not plan to speed through the game or post daily with shows. I have been making some long term plans with this game, and also figured out that I do not need to make my primary save a diary as I tend to get to far ahead. I have some cool long term plans, thanks to awesome renders, and I hope I can stick this one out! Thanks in advance to anybody who comments with feedback or suggestions. Mootinie
<p>Match 1: Shooting Star Title: <strong>Calamari Kid</strong> v. Marc DuBois</p><p> <em>DuBois is already above this belt to be honest. He's too charismatic and too good in the ring to hold a belt designed for high flyers.</em></p><p> </p><p> Match 2: <strong>The Amazing Bumfholes </strong>v. Death Row</p><p> <em>Supreme Wrestling University showcase! Death Row are fittingly low on the totem pole and shouldn't be beating a team that has such a bright future.</em></p><p> </p><p> Match 3: #1 Contender for NA Title: <strong>Robbie Retro</strong> v. Pistol Pete</p><p> <em>I always run Joe Sexy vs. Gilmore since Gilmore is owed a rematch having just lost the title. Retro will take this though to set up a heel vs. face clash.</em></p><p> </p><p> Match 4: <strong>Enygma</strong> v. Sam Keith</p><p> <em>That lucrative contract.</em></p><p> </p><p> Match 5: #1 Contender World Title: Christian Faith v. Jack Bruce v. <strong>Steve Frehley</strong> v. Rich Money v. Eric Eisen</p><p> <em>Eisen is meh. Faith is better served elsewhere on the card. Bruce isn't ready for Figurehead yet so his big title win should be held off until he's ready to carry the company. Frehley is the guy that takes the belt off Runaway in canon and I think he's the most natural challenger heading into the new year.</em></p>
Stennick
I no doubt have a vested interest in this dynasty so I will be following closely. Jumbo Shrimp The kids in the crowd loved when Jumbo Shrimp made his entrance and he did a decent job of playing up to the crowd, although the older fans did not seem to be pleased. Once the match kicked off, Jumbo tried to use his strength and size advantage to control Rich Money. Jumbo held his own for most of the bout, but after a massive Ocean Wave (Powerbomb), Rich was able to roll out of the ring to avoid the pinfall. Jumbo’s demise came when he decided to play to the crowd and not get Rich back into the ring. Rich was able to recover, but played possum by “barely” rolling in the ring. Once Jumbo tried to pick him up, Rich poked him in the eyes (unknown to the ref) and was able to hit the Bank Roll for the pin and the win. Flex and Pecs Both tag teams have a chance to be in the running for a shot at the Tag Titles with a win tonight. Both demonstrated good tag team action, however it was the experience and chemistry of the Biggz Boyz who were able to put away Flex and Pecs when Brett hit Pecs with a Biggz Up. Steve Frehley The young rookie did not put up much of a fight against the rising sensation in Steve Frehley. Steve took command early and did not let go. Credit does go to Andre for being able to take a punishment before being put away with a Frehley’s Comet. After the match the lights go out and when they come back on the screen Reads “I’m Coming For You!” Angle: Ana interviews Enygma about his match against Angry Gilmore tonight. Enygma talks about how he will stop Gilmore tonight and show him that it was a mistake to attack him. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/Ryan_Cucunato/SWF%202005/Workers/Joe%20Sexy_Rick_zpszih1dvr5.jpg v. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/Ryan_Cucunato/SWF%202005/Workers/Robbie%20Retro_altkam8_zpsbe6lgmee.jpg Match 4: NA Championship: Joe Sexy v. Robbie Retro Per NA Championship stipulations the belt must be defended at every show. Joe Sexy tells the crowd that he has granted a young rook the chance of a life time, to be in the same ring and wrestle the greatest NA Champion of all time. Robbie Retro makes his way to the ring, with little fan far. Once the match starts the cocky Joe Sexy was quickly humbled by the explosiveness of Retro. Retro dominates the match, however the young rookie makes the same error that Jumbo made earlier in the night, and that was to play too much to the crowd, in particular the young attractive women in the front row. This was all the opportunity Sexy needed as he was able to hit Retro with a One Night Stand for the win. Angry Gilmore The crowd was on their feet for the main event, and despite Gilmore being the bad guy, he gets quite a pop whenever he comes out. Both wrestlers showed that they belong among the best workers in the world as they put on a superb match. Gilmore took the advantage, however Enygma’s quickness helped him avoid many painful holds. Gilmore’s demise came due to his anger, when Enygma continued to evade his submission attempts. Gilmores anger got the better of him as he smashed Enygma in the turnbuckle, before Gilmore ripped the pad off and repeatedly slammed Enygma’s head into the exposed buckle. Before the ref could signal the bell, Gilmore leveled him with a clothesline. Gilmore proceeded to leave the ring and grab a chair. Gilmore started to lay into the downed Enygma with the chair, before another ref ran out from the back and signaled the end of the match. Gilmore did not seem to care that the match was over as he continued to hit chair shot after chair shot on Enygma. The new ref attempted to stop Gilmore, but Gilmore nailed the ref with the chair. Gilmore proceeds to hit Enygma with chair shot after chair shot. Several backstage personal attempt to intervene but were scared away as Gilmore would swing the chair wildly at anybody who comes on the apron. After several more chair shots, Gilmore threw the chair at Enygma and walked away Rating: 85 Show Rating: 84 TV Rating: 7.8 I was pretty happy with the overall results, however I forgot that Christmas Clash was in the second week (my excel sheet said week 4 as I did not change it) so the card is rather rushed because of poor planning. I had to push some feuds back and delay others from starting. There are also several "filler" matches on the card due to my mistake. Christmas Clash PreShow: Shooting Star Marc DuBois v.
