</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em><span style="font-size:8px;">Week 1, February, 1997</span></em></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Jerome Turner:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Last week Steve DeColt got the better of number one contender Barry Bowen in tag team action. Tonight Bowen faces another DeColt, Alex, in our main event.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Alex better watch out because Bowen is on the war path, and you don’t stop a runaway train when it’s in motion.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Logos/CGC_zpsij3tygpp.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Steve20Flash_zpsku8w7hfb.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Steve Flash kicks of Title Bout Wrestling here tonight for one reason and one reason only. Last week he and Steve DeColt beat Barry Bown and the CGC Canadian Champion Dan DaLay. Actually, he wants to rephrase that. He pinned the CGC Canadian Champion in the middle of the ring, which as far as he’s concerned should put him in prime position for a shot at that title. Now Flash might be a former CGC Tag Team Champion but he’s never held singles gold here and he thinks it’s about time that changed. He’s seen the cracks forming in the School of Tradition since Eric Tyler got injured, and he’d be happy to help those cracks get bigger by taking the only piece of gold that they have at Luck of the Draw! </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/cadc04fd-c217-4369-a952-4c6346cb6414_zpsggmkhuqx.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Chance_zpsgkjgg8kz.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/cad6bdda-78d9-4509-a22b-e20490f9c3e9_zpsxfncol3d.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Woah, woah, woah, not so fast. Now DaLay isn’t scared of anybody, not least somebody half his size like Steve Flash, but he’s not about to go giving people title shots when there’s nothing in it for him. But wait a minute, maybe he and Flash can come to some sort of deal. Now he might be the only member of the School of Tradition with a title right now, but he knows that it’s only a matter of time before the Soldiers of Fortune take those CGC World Tag Team Championships from those stupid DeColt boys, but they don’t really want to wait. So since Steve Flash is so buddy buddy with the DeColt’s then how about he set his friends here up with a tag title shot and he’ll happily crush Flash at Luck of the Draw. Flash says that’s not his title challenge to give but-</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Jack20DeColt_zpswgzzmxmu.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

But Jack can! Jack DeColt is right here in DeColt country (cheap pop!) and the way he sees it if it gives Flash a chance to knock some sense into that brick DaLay calls a skull then he and Alex are more than happy to do the same to Chance and Fate. Deal made, Jack takes a big swig of good old Canadian beer and tells the crowd to enjoy the show!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Eddie Chandler</span></strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> vs. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Jon Jetson</span></strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Jerome Turner:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Eddie Chandler’s coming off of a big win over Biff the Bruiser two weeks ago, can he fair as well against possibly the only man in CGC angrier than Biff?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> My guess is no.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jetson’s in a foul mood and he’s more than willing to take it out on Chandler here tonight. Unfortunately for him Chandler’s a smart guy and quickly uses Jetson’s anger against him. A few quick hip tosses let’s Chandler begin working over the arm. Jetson powers through and fights back, stiffly might I add, but every time he builds up a head of steam Chandler turns his momentum against him. Brain overcomes brawn right up until a stiff forehead to the skull knocks Chandler’s brain loopy, and that’s the opening Jetson needs. He absolutely wrecks Chandler with vicious strikes and there’s that Slingshot Suplex for the win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jetson isn’t done. The moment the bell rings he’s on top of Chandler, raining down strikes to the face of the Fabulous One. Chandler’s too hurt to defend himself, he’s in a bad way-</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Ed20Monton_zpsme0fyvkz.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Until Ed Monton charges the ring and tackles Jetson off of him. The two former partners are going at it, brawling around the ring, neither one able to get the better of the other. In the end Jetson uses his brain for the first time tonight and manages to pull himself out of the ring for a hasty retreat. Monton’s not having it though, he demands a microphone. He wants to finish this once and for all and he wants to do it, one on one, at Luck of the Draw. Jetson’s quick to accept, and the Canadian Enforcers will finally collide in singles action in less than two weeks!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

John McClean and Maverick are not happy, though to be honest Maverick’s so silent you can’t really tell what he’s thinking. McClean’s furious that they’re not the ones getting the title shot, and he’s wondering whether Emma Chase really is doing everything in her power to make them the biggest tag team in CGC. After all, if she’s not why are they paying her 10% in the first place? Emma tries to sooth the pair, promising it’s a blip, she might be new around here but she knows what she’s doing and what she’s doing is leading John McClean and Maverick up the ladder here in CGC.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Alexander20Robinson_zpsukopxcxq.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Jake20Sloan_zpsvkgaekjj.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Oh boo hoo. Just like last week Alexander Robinson & Jake Sloan aren’t impressed by The Chase Agency’s whining. For three weeks now they’ve heard McClean and Maverick, well Maverick not so much, complain about their roles here in CGC. Well guest what, the only way to prove yourself here is by winning matches. Chase is unimpressed, after all, her clients do hold a victory over Robinson & Sloan and he’s sure, given the opportunity, they’d do it again. That sounds great to Sloan, he’ll go talk to George right now and get it booked for Luck of the Draw!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

During all of this Robinson and Maverick engage in a staring contest. Maverick blinks first. He’s not happy.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jack and Alex are in the middle of yet another brotherly argument. Alex isn’t happy about Jack just handing out a title shot without even asking him, and Jack’s very mature reaction is to do a chicken dance and call his brother a… well, you get it. Steve’s in the middle of things as always, trying to calm the pair down. Tonight Alex has to go one on one with Barry Bowen and they all know that Barry will be trying to send a message to him. Not only that but the School of Tradition are bound to be nearby as well. Jack’s not worried, he and Steve have Alex’s back and he’s itching for a fight tonight.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/George20DeColt_zpsyscffor1.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Good old father DeColt’s quick to shut that idea down. He’s been around this business long enough to know where this all leads, and he’s not having some big war in his company. There’s too many people getting involved all over the place and he won’t have it in his main event, which is why tonight everybody is banned from ringside during the match. Steve and Jack are shocked at their father, but Alex is quick to agree with him. He’s done the maths and analysed the variables, his best bet to win tonight is on his own without his brothers and the School of Tradition getting involved. Tonight Alex DeColt faces Barry Bowen and he does it alone.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Land Mass</span></strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> vs. </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Mario Heroic</span></strong></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Jerome Turner:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Land Mass is out here without Helen Wheels tonight and with the news that Mammoth is no longer with CGC, there’s got to be a question mark over where Land Mass’ head is right now.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Where his head’s at? Do you see who you’re talking about? His head is firmly on squashing that goof Mario Heroic.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Mario Heroic kicks off the match by… trying to dance with Land Mass? Oh Mario. Land Mass isn’t down for any of Mario’s weirdness and quickly begins beating on him, throwing him around the ring, running into him full force and just generally being a bit of a brute. Mario’s shaken up but catches a running Land Mass with a dropkick and a roll up for two! Mario’s fighting back! A series of right hands leaves Land Mass in the corner. Mario… moonwalks? Yes, he’s moonwalking. And Land Mass just knocks him straight down with a big clothesline. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Biff20the20Bruiser_zpsud3jtqzt.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Grace20Harper_alt1_zpsf0icayhx.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Oh, what’s this? Biff The Bruiser has stepped out onto the ramp and he’s got Helen Wheels right alongside him! Land Mass looks furious. Ten Ton Avalanche! Land Mass crushes the much smaller Mario Heroic and, without taking his eyes off of Biff and Helen, gets the three count. Biff and Helen don’t look impressed, leaving together. Looks like Helen’s got herself a new man, and Land Mass isn’t happy about it. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:8px;">WINNER: LAND MASS</span></span></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-size:8px;">

George DeColt is doing very busy owner things when, oh, who turned out the lights? No, wait, that’s just Barry Bowen towering over everything in his path. Bowen’s got a big grin and wants to make sure that George knows exactly how big of a mistake he’s made by banning all interference tonight. Sure, maybe that idiot DaLay was going to get involved but now there’s nobody to stop him from destroying his son. Bowen’s in full intimidation mode but George doesn’t budge; he’s fought bigger men than Bowen in his life. Bowen’s not trying to intimidate him, he’s just trying to prepare him because by the time he’s finished his family will be broken. First Alex, then Steve. By the time he’s done the DeColts won’t have a title, they won’t have careers and the fans will forget all about them. And that right there is a DeColt Decree.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Welcome back to the stats lab for another DeColt Breakdown. Tonight we’ll be looking at the middle child in the DeColt household. Oh, wait…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Alex20DeColt_zpsqmamnwjw.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“That’s me. Okay, I guess we’re looking at me. As the middle child of the famous DeColt family Alex is… I’ve got all the family traits. Big, strong, charismatic, well, that’s what they tell me. Debuting just a year after Steve, in 93, I’ve faced even more adversity throughout my four years in CGC because face it, guys like Eric Tyler and Barry Bowen never wanted one DeColt around, let alone two. But whatever was put in my way I’ve found a way to outsmart, because unlike Steve who goes in guns blazing and Jack, who’s all about punching until things stop moving, I fight with the strongest muscle in the human body.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Yes, my brain.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Dubbed the thinking man’s DeColt I pride myself on my strategy, on being able to find the weak point in any opponent no matter how big, strong or downright evil they may be. As far as I see it every opponent is a puzzle just waiting to be solved, and I do love a puzzle. That made me the first CGC Canadian Champion last year, a title I added to when myself and Jack won the CGC World Tag Team Championships four months ago. Sure, I might be the only one of the three of us without a World Championship reign but trust me, I’ve done the maths.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It’s only a matter of time.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Jerome Turner:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Alex DeColt is not a small man at all, but my god does he look like a dwarf next to Barry Bowen.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> He’s one of the biggest men in wrestling, let’s see the thinking man’s DeColt find a way out of this one.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Barry Bowen puffs out his chest and stands up tall, which for the record is pretty damn tall, but Alex isn’t intimidated. He’s focused on the big bad runaway train and, just like always, the thinking man’s DeColt has a gameplan that he hopes will solve the puzzle that is Barry Bowen. He uses his speed, and Bowen’s lack of it, to his advantage, working over the legs with quick, hit and run tactics. If Bowen can’t walk then he can’t do any damage. It seems to be working, Alex hits a running dropkick to the knee that takes Bowen to the ground. Alex with the big running splash. 1… 2… and Bowen just straight up powers out of the pin. Alex keeps trying but it’s not working, Barry’s too strong, too big, too damn powerful.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Alex just can’t keep him down. Bowen halts his attempts with a huge splash in the corner and now it’s his turn to deliver some damage, which he does in impressive fashion. Big powerslam, a splash on the apron. Monumental powerbomb from over seven feet in the air. The crowd are stunned, they can’t believe they’re seeing one of the DeColt’s get beaten down this badly. Bowen hauls Alex up onto his feet. Train Wreck! Alex is out cold, not moving an inch. Bowen isn’t satisfied though. He lifts the unconscious Alex to his feet once more. A second Train Wreck. Mercifully Bowen places a foot on the chest of Alex and the referee can do nothing but make the count.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

But here comes the cavalry! The match is over, which means so is George’s decree. Steve and Jack charge the ring, Bowen throwing Alex to the mat and making as hasty a retreat as a man as big as he can is capable of. Jack wants to go after him, but Steve stops him, the two of them checking on Alex who remains unconscious. One thing’s for sure, Barry Bowen is a force to be reckoned with, and Steve DeColt might be in trouble at Luck of the Draw.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- Wow, this show smashed right through that 65 ceiling I’ve been hitting so far, and all it took was throwing DeColts all over the place.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- By far the biggest downside to Steve Flash, aside from him also working for NOTBPW, is that he’s got really poor entertainment skills and definitely can’t be relied upon to carry any segment outside of the ring. Which is doubly as disappointing since his in-ring skills are fantastic, and he could easily be relied upon to put on great main events whenever the DeColts are too busy being DeColts. I could pair him with a manager, but a main event face doesn’t really ‘suit’ a manager in my booking mind. Right now he’ll forever be the guy the heels run through on their way to the DeColts.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- On the flip side of that coin Alex DeColt invented a new catchphrase this show, which should hopefully boost those ‘Alex DeColt Breakdown’s’ that I’ve been running. They’re an interesting way of profiling the roster, but Alex’s entertainment skills aren’t quite up to the level of his brothers just yet, so any boost is much appreciated.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Apparently this was a very hard to predict show. Evidently people don’t see a DeColt losing predictable, which is fair and for the most part would be the norm, but there are some forces out there that are just as powerful as a DeColt, and Bowen in my eyes is one of them. Plus you’ve got to remember these aren’t the 2016 force of nature DeColt’s here, these are the 1997 young and green DeColt’s.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Welcome everybody to DeColt country! Steve makes it clear that even though he’s happy to be out here it doesn’t feel right, and that’s because Alex isn’t out here with them. Now last week Alex got hurt fighting Barry Bowen and even though he’ll be back next week to put the CGC World Tag Team Championships on the line his doctor’s refused to let him come here tonight which means it’s down to him and Jack to show everybody why you don’t mess with the DeColts. Jack’s so angry he doesn’t even have a beer tonight, that’s when you know it’s serious. He told Alex last week he shouldn’t have faced Bowen alone, but his brother had something to prove. Well now he’s got something to prove, he wants to prove that if you hurt a DeColt you get it back tenfold. Now Saturday Steve gets to punch that lesson into Bowen but tonight they’re going to send a warning out to everyone who thinks they can try and knock the DeColts off the top of CGC. Tonight they’re going to show to everyone exactly why this is DeColt country!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> He might be a freak of nature but the Scoundrels are the dirtiest tag team in wrestling, literally and figuratively! Westybrook’s bigger, stronger and quite frankly smarter than Dirty Frank, but the numbers game comes into play early and it comes into play often. Frank’s getting little legitimate offence in on the force of nature Westybrook, but every time The Iron Man takes control there’s Switchblade Mike running interference. It’s looking like Frank might actually steal this one but wait, Westybrook lifts him up for a gorilla press and throws him right over the ropes onto Switchblade Mike! The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are slow to their feet and big double clothesline that takes them both out. With Mike out of the equation Westybrook takes things back to the ring. TNT Whirlwind! It’s over just like that.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“The youngest DeColt currently active in Canadian Golden Combat, Jack couldn’t have been anything but a professional wrestler given his affinity for punching people in the face. Jack’s the party boy of the DeColt family, rarely seen without a good old Canadian beer in his hand, which I keep telling him probably isn’t helping his liver any but what do I know, we’re just brothers and I just so happen to be the Thinking Man’s DeColt. But does he listen to me? Of course not, does he ever? Wait, sorry, went off on a tangent there.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Few thought that Jack would make the impact he did when he debuted in CGC. Sure, he’s a DeColt so he was always going to succeed, but winning the CGC World Championship after just eighteen months of being in the company? That even shocked me. But his relentless work ethic of punching anything standing in his way and never backing down from a challenge has continued to push him further and further, his latest success being a CGC Tag Team Championship reign with yours truly. Jack might be the youngest but he’s also the toughest and, despite being a bit of an idiot, he’s got the biggest heart of us all and firmly believes in the most important lesson that dad taught us.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

George DeColt, the undeclared ruler of DeColt country, isn’t getting the warmest of welcomes right now from his sons. In fact Jack’s full on roaring at his father, placing the blame of Alex’s injury firmly on his hands. He’s the one who decided that nobody, not even a DeColt, was allowed at ringside last week which meant he had to stand by and watch Alex get hurt at the hands of Barry Bowen. Now he and Alex might not always see eye to eye, but family is family and unlike George he’d never leave one of his own high and dry like that. George tries to explain that Alex had to go out there alone for himself, but Jack doesn’t want to hear any excuses tonight. Tonight he wants to punch someone and if he doesn’t leave right now then it might just be his own dad. Jack storms off, Steve trying to tell his dad that Jack’ll cool off, but George doesn’t seem so sure.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Helen Wheels stands by with Biff The Bruiser. She’s taken a shine to the brutish tough man, after all, it’s been a while since she’s been around a real man after all that time with those oafs Land Mass and Mammoth. But Biff’s so much more than just a strong man, and it’s about time everyone realizes that. No longer will he go by such a simple moniker as ‘The Bruiser’. From now on everyone will call him by his real name, a name that will inspire fear in everyone who gets in their way on their path to the CGC World Championship. From now on Biff will be recognised as the force of brutality that he really is. Biff has a point to prove here and seems even more fired up than usual thanks to the presence of his new manager Helen Wheels at ringside. Unfortunately Ted Moore isn’t exactly the brightest bulb in CGC and doesn’t have the smarts not to try for a handshake to start the match. Biff repays that stupidity with a vicious right hand and doesn’t let up, just relentlessly going after Moore, throwing him around the ring and showing off that impressive strength. Moore fights back as best he can, taking little openings to get in some offence, but nothing he does is enough to even slow down this new and improved Biff. Bruising Lariat! Biff Busick and Helen Wheels head up the ramp after his dominant display when they’re cut off by Land Mass, the big man clearly not happy about what he’s seeing. He tries to reason with Wheels, trying to convince her to come backstage and talk. But Biff’s having none of it! He sends Land Mass down to his knees with a vicious elbow. Land Mass lumbers up to his feet and Bruising Lariat! Biff Busick has knocked Land Mass out cold on the ramp! The ring crew are quick to stop any more violence but the damage is done and Helen Wheels couldn’t be happy, grinning from cheek to cheek as she leads Biff away from the scene of the crime.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With just moments to go before the main event Emma Chase is hyping up John McClean and Maverick, giving them some last minutes words of advice. McClean’s bouncing on the spot, more than ready. Maverick stands there silently, nodding at her every word. Then all three of them stop in their tracks, coming face to face with-</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Dan DaLay assures them he’s not here for a fight, he’s just here to wish them luck tonight. See the School of Tradition has a stake in this main event, because if it just so happens that the two healthy DeColt’s weren’t so healthy going into Luck of the Draw then maybe the School would be pretty pleased. And if that were the case then when the Soldiers of Fortune become the new CGC World Tag Team Champions at Luck of the Draw then maybe McClean & Maverick will be first in line for a title shot. Just something to think about.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Well nobody said Steve or Jack were smart. That’s Alex’s department, and he’s still shaking off the beating that Barry Bowen gave him to be here.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Alex DeColt and Barry Bowen not in the building tonight Steve and Jack seemingly have nothing to distract them from this contest, but that doesn’t mean they’re not going to play it smart. Both men are clearly on the lookout for shenanigans and while that’s probably a good idea it actually costs them. Maverick’s quick to capitalise on any opening and swiftly has done some damage to Jack’s arm. Steve tries to take control but McClean leads a double team. The DeColt’s are in trouble but there’s a big double clothesline! Jack’s handing out punches left and right and Steve sends Maverick tumbling out of the ring with a big shoulder block! But wait, Emma Chase is distracting the referee with those pretty eyes of hers and Jack’s yanked off of the ring apron!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/cadc04fd-c217-4369-a952-4c6346cb6414_zpsggmkhuqx.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Chance_zpsgkjgg8kz.jpg</span><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/cad6bdda-78d9-4509-a22b-e20490f9c3e9_zpsxfncol3d.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The School of Tradition are out here, DaLay whipping Jack into the barricade and then all three of them putting the boots in. Steve sees it but McClean takes him down from behind! And through all of this referee Francis Long is still busy whispering sweet nothings to Emma Chase! It’s a dire situation for the DeColt’s right now.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah18/dclarkew22/CGC%20Roster%20Mini/Steve20Flash_zpsku8w7hfb.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

But here’s Steve Flash to make the save! Flash comes out of nowhere and clotheslines DaLay and himself right over the barricade and into the crowd. While Flash and DaLay begin to fight their way through the crowd and to the back Jack fights back against the Soldiers of Fortune with a massive double clothesline. Inside the ring Steve counters the Stain Removal. DeColt Stampede! Jack’s presence causes Emma to back off and Francis Long finally does his job, making the count and giving the DeColts the big win on the go-home show to Luck of the Draw!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- So I think the big thing to note here is the absence of big names like Barry Bowen, Ed Monton and Jon Jetson among others involved in storylines. This is easily one of the most difficult things about only having a one hour show, but I think it’s interesting to be able to rotate talent in and out of shows and still find ways to progress angles. I don’t think Bowen was particularly missed because his injuring of Alex carried over nicely into other angles and was a recurring talking point despite neither of them technically being in the building.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- That Biff / Moore rating really hurt. Considering Biff pulled off a not terrible match against Mario Heroic, who at the time had very little popuality, I’m placing the blame for this one firmly on Ted Moore. He’s not really got any upside that I can see beyond a slightly entertaining gimmick, he’ll be a real challenge to do something with.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Mario Heroic tries to kick things off with a little dance off, he’s an expert at the tango, but Busick isn’t having any of his weirdness tonight, charging straight at Heroic and taking him down with a big shoulder block. There’s no fun and games tonight, Busick’s in a destructive mood as he just beats up Heroic with stiff shots and some big power moves. But Heroic refuses to go down, he leap frogs over the much bigger Busick and hits a big dropkick! Mario’s back in this, striking out with some quick strikes. He goes up top for a crossbody! Two count! Helen Wheels is freaking out on the outside as Heroic ducks under a Bruising Lariat, keeps on running and… Wheels grabs his foot underneath the ropes. The momentary distraction is enough. Bruising Lariat! It’s all over.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Helen Wheels is quick to join Biff Busick in the ring, shouting about Busick being a ‘real man’. Mistake. Out comes Land Mass storming, well, kind of, he’s a big guy you know, down to the ring ready to cause some damage. Biff is ready for him in the ring and the two go at it exchanging lefts and rights! Land Mass is getting the better of the brawl, pushes Busick up against the ropes and… oh, Mario Heroic comes barging in from behind them and dumps both of them over the top rope to the outside! Security is quick to swarm in to stop Busick and Land Mass going at it anymore while inside the ring Helen Wheels is screaming at Mario Heroic who grabs her, spins her and… oh, she falls on her ass, guess Helen isn’t much of a dancer. Helen continues screaming from the mat while Mario just dances in the ring. Oh Mario, why’re you so weird?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The locker room of the School of Tradition, still lacking their leader Eric Tyler due to injury. Dan DaLay’s still intent on filling the role and is in the middle of giving a pep talk to the Soldiers of Fortune but, well, it’s not going well. DaLay’s not much of a talker at the best of times, and let’s just say he doesn’t have a career in inspirational speaking in his future. The Soldiers of Fortune aren’t exactly looking pepped up. Aww screw it, they don’t need no stupid pep talk to get them ready for tonight. Tonight’s their chance to destroy the DeColt boys and take what’s most important to them – their gold. Tonight they crush the DeColt’s and make sure everyone knows this is the School of Tradition’s territory now. Class is in session, and DaLay and the Soldiers are ready to teach the DeColt’s a lesson.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

A confident and cocky McClean starts off against Robinson but that cockiness is quickly wiped away as Robinson firstly takes him to the ground and then knocks him for a loop with a stiff elbow. It’s all Robinson in the early minutes of the match, countering everything that McClean can throw at him and forcing him to make the tag to Maverick. Maverick locks up with Robinson and both take it to the ground, trying to chain-wrestle rings around each other. A little distraction from Emma Chase gives Maverick the upper hand, and suddenly things sway in the direction of McClean & Maverick. Robinson’s getting worked over but there’s the tag, Sloan’s in! Double clothesline, dropkick to McClean. Jake Sloan’s taken charge here. Huge Tornado DDT! 1…2… but Emma Chase puts McClean’s foot up on the rope! Francis Long didn’t see it! Sloan goes to lock the Koji Clutch in but Maverick interrupts it. Double team and Stain Removal! McClean makes the cover while Maverick stops Robinson from breaking it up! The DeColt locker room is a surprisingly sombre place right now, with Steve and Jack both fussing over Alex, wanting to make sure that he’s up to competing tonight. Alex insists he’s fine though, and he doesn’t need his brothers worrying about him tonight because it’ll cost them. He’s done the maths and the only way that they’re getting through tonight with the gold is by being at their best. Now he might not have solved the puzzle that is Barry Bowen but he knows how to beat the Soldiers of Fortune and- </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Everything goes eerily quiet as George DeColt enters the ring, the father of the DeColt’s and CGC himself coming by to make sure that his boys are ready for tonight. But things aren’t all peachy in the DeColt household right now. Jack’s still not happy about how George let Alex go out there against Bowen alone and despite Alex’s insistence that he made his own decision Jack’s still placing the blame firmly at the door of daddy dearest. Jack tells George to stay away from him tonight because he’s reserving his punches for the Soldiers of Fortune, and he doesn’t need any more distractions. He grabs a good old Canadian beer and storms out of the locker room. Steve again tries to assure his dad that Jack’ll come around, but George isn’t so sure.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

He comes in quick and hard, working away at DaLay’s leg, trying to weaken the Canadian Champion and eliminate his advantage. It’s working… but there’s a big boot. DaLay’s got his hands on Flash and begins working the veteran over with clubbing blows. He throws Flash to the outside and begins throwing him around the ringside area from the barricade to the steel ring steps. Flash is in trouble but oh! He dodges out of the way of a charging DaLay who crashes into the barricade and damn near takes it off of the ground! Flash gets DaLay back into the ring. 1…2… just a near fall. Flash is setting DaLay up for it and Flash Ba- no, DaLay pushes him into the turnbuckle! DaLay charges but again Flash moves, DaLay hitting the turnbuckle chest first. He staggers backwards and Flash Bang! DaLay’s down! DaLay’s down! Flash with the cover. 1…2… the Soldiers of Fortune strike, Chance and Fate invading the ring and attacking Flash forcing the disqualification. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Dan DaLay and Steve Flash thrown out from ringside this one might actually be a clean contest. Alex wants to start off. Jack tries to convince him otherwise but Alex isn’t having it, he’s got to prove he’s 100%. Jack relents and Chance jumps Alex from behind! Jack’s furious but referee Francis Long keeps him on the outside. Alex is cut off from him brother as the Soldiers of Fortune use their experience as a team to cut the ring in half and work over the thinking man’s DeColt. It’s looking rough for the champions but Alex ducks under a Chance clothesline and dropkicks him straight into his partner! Alex right the right hands, Irish whip and a huge Sling Blade! Here comes Jack and he does what he does best, punching! Big right hands rock Chance and it’s going the DeColt’s way until Fate comes in from behind, the legal tag having been made when the Soldiers collided. Now it’s Jack’s turn to be cut off, the Soldiers of Fortune doing some damage while Alex can do nothing but watch. But he’s not just watching, he’s waiting. He waits for the perfect moment and shouts to Jack, who listens, turns and nails a charging Chance with a big right hand! Alex stops Fate from interfering as Jack lifts Chance up on his shoulders and Alex goes up top… DeColt Fusion! “Ladies and gentlemen, in just over a months’ time we will be arriving at the most important show off the CGC calendar, and also the one I’m most proud of. The DeColt WrestleFestival, a two night extravaganza of wrestling, rides and games for the whole family to enjoy. Now in the past we’ve seen some fantastic wrestlers visit us for the WrestleFestival, and this year will be no different. It’s with great pride that I announce the first DeColt Invitational. Sixteen men, eight from CGC and eight special guests, will fight it out in a single elimination tournament with the winner being crowned on night two of the WrestleFestival. Who’ll be joining us for this very special tournament? Well you’ll have to tune in to Title Bout Wrestling in the coming weeks to find out for sure, but trust me when I say there’ll be some faces that you won’t soon forget. We’re backstage for an interview with the challenger for the CGC World Championship tonight, the towering Barry Bowen. Bowen’s not really a man of words though. He just wants to make it clear that he doesn’t care who these fans are here for tonight. He’s here to take what’s rightfully his – the CGC World Championship, and god help anybody that gets in the way of this runaway train. By the time tonight’s over, Steve DeColt will be flat on the mat and he’ll be holding the gold.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Jerome Turner:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The two former Canadian Enforcers have been at each other’s throats for months now, tonight we’re finally going to find out who the better man is.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Roger Rogers:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Got to love a good old fashioned blood feud.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The bell rings and the former Canadian Enforcers charge right at each other and start throwing right hands, just trying to cave each other’s skulls in right from the start. The brawl descends to the outside as Francis Long just can’t control them, the two still brawling around the ringside area. Monton narrowly avoids his head being kicked in against the barricade and returns the favour by sending Jetson face first into the turnbuckle. A near ten count gets the two former friends back inside the ring as Monton charges at Jetson and gets caught with a belly to belly! Jetson takes the match into a more technical direction but Monton’s quick to counter. Monton goes for a Fallaway Slam but Jetson counters, Jetson with the Slingshot Suplex, but Monton counters. Both men countering everything the other throws at them as years of teaming together comes into effect, they know each other like a book. Jetson catches Monton with a thumb to the eye and sends him shoulder first into the turnbuckle. On the opposite side of the ring Jetson begins removing the padding, pushing Francis Long to the mat when he tries to stop him. Jetson with the Irish Whip but Monton counters and hits a powerslam. More back and forth between the two. Jetson charges at Monton… but Monton catches him, lifting him up and dropping him face first onto the exposed turnbuckle! Fallaway Slam! Jetson is out cold for the cover! Huge win for Ed Monton as he wins the battle of the Canadian Enforcers.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Barry Bowen is obsessed. A former two time CGC World Champion, the man dubbed by many as the ‘runaway train’ has spoken about little else than getting the title back and has targeted anyone and everyone that he sees as standing in his way. The latest target? None other than the raging bull of the DeColt family, Steve DeColt. Since winning the title back in December from his brother Jack Steve has led the DeColts to victory over the School of Tradition back at Elimination and now steps into the ring for his first ever title defence. It couldn’t be against anyone bigger, but is he scared? Forget about it, a DeColt doesn’t feel fear. It’s the raging bull against the runaway train, and it is next!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It’s only once the bell rings that Steve DeColt remembers just how big Barry Bowen is, but this is Steve DeColt we’re talking about and he quickly shakes that off and gets to business. He’s not quick to go after Bowen, rather letting the big man come to him, but he’s not quite ready for how quickly Bowen moves, the big man charging at him like a runaway train and smashing him straight out of the ring. Bowen follows him out and begins a vicious beating reminiscent of the one that put Alex DeColt out of action a couple of weeks ago. Steve scrambles back into the ring and uses his speed advantage to catch Bowen as he’s following him in. Steve begins working over the knees of Bowen. Big chopblock and there’s a single leg Boston crab… but Bowen just powers him straight off and across the ring. Steve scrambles to his feet but runs right into a big boot. Bowen again begins beating on the champion and throws him right across the ring by the throat. Steve pulls himself up into the corner but Bowen crushes him against the turnbuckle with a splash! Bowen grabs Steve by the throat… Train Wreck!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Steve’s out! 1…2…but Steve just gets his foot on the rope! Bowen’s furious, lifts Steve up again for a second Train Wreck but this time Steve escapes and clotheslines Bowen outside the ring! Steve’s hurt and he knows it. He rolls out of the ring but Bowen catches him, sending him back first into the ring apron. Bowen goes to whip Steve into the barricade but the champion counters, sending Bowen crashing into the corner of the barricade! Steve sees his opportunity. DeColt Stampede! Steve DeColt hits with such force that it sends Bowen crashing right through the security barricade! The crowd are on their feet! Francis Long is counting! Steve struggles to pull himself up but with his last ounce of strength pulls himself back into the ring right before the count of ten! Barry Bowen’s still out amdist the wreckage of the barricade! He’s been counted out! Steve DeColt retains the CGC World Championship against Barry Bowen, but how will he cope knowing that he needed a count out to do it?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- I was all ready to say that I was pretty disappointed in the show and then it ends up being my best show rating by far. That’s all down to the main event of course, Steve DeColt and Barry Bowen put on one hell of a match considering we’re technically only a regional company right now. The rest of the card was more of the same though. I’ve been slowly building up the rest of the guys (as in anyone not named DeColt, Bowen or Flash) so that their popularity can at least carry the midcard but it’s slow going without pay per view which I can’t hope to get until I hit cult.</p><p> </p><p>

- So yes, the build-up to WrestleFestival will be focused around the big DeColt invitational tournament. I’ve brought in what I hope to be some very interesting names for the tournament to mix in with the home grown CGC guys, but I won’t be announcing exactly who is in the tournament until the show they’re actually debuting on. Sixteen guys, five weeks, one winner. I’m a huge fan of tournaments so this should be fun.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Golden Opportunity Prediction Contest Final Standings</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

- So the first Golden Opportunity prediction contest has come to an end, and with Luck of the Draw being worth double points this is how things ended:</p><p> </p><p>

1. Midnightnick - 21/32</p><p>

2. KnowYourEnemy - 17/32</p><p>

3. gtaves – 15/20</p><p>

4. SurfnTurn – 10/14</p><p>

5. BigDPW - 4/6</p><p> </p><p>

gtaves actually got the highest out of the night so congrats for that, but the overall winner was Midnightnick! That means you get to choose who will challenge Dan DaLay for the CGC Canadian Championship on night two of the WrestleFestival. There’s only one limitation, they can’t be a current champion already which rules out the DeColts. Everyone else (aside from Eric Tyler who’s still on the injured list) is fair game so PM me your choice.</p><p> </p><p>

This also means it’s time for a new Golden Opportunity prediction contest to begin which will run from this next show all the way to night two of the WrestleFestival, so it’s a big one. The winner of this prediction contest will get to pick one person / team to join the CGC roster so a big prediction contest gets a big prize. Here’s the card for the next show, with the first three DeColt Invitational matches:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>DeColt Invitational First Round Match</strong> – Alex DeColt <em>(CGC)</em> vs. Derek Barnes <em>(FREE)</em></p><p>

<strong>DeColt Invitational First Round Match</strong> – Howling Dog <em>(CGC)</em> vs. Brad Kelley <em>(4C)</em></p><p>

<strong>DeColt Invitational First Round Match</strong> – Biff Busick <em>(CGC)</em> vs. Joey Poison <em>(4C)</em></p><p> </p><p>

And it's too bad I missed an early show or I could have won the challenge. Still very happy to have nailed the last show of the year.

As in unwritten tradition following a pay per view we kick things off with the DeColt’s to welcome everybody to DeColt Country! You all might notice that they’re all still holding gold tonight, that’s because last night the DeColt’s walked into CGC to face a horde of men looking to conquer them and they beat all of them. Barry Bowen, the School of Tradition, every man who stepped up to face them came up short as they defended not just these titles but also CGC’s honour. Now tonight CGC kicks off a tournament named after them and with both Alex and Jack in the tournament they’ll damn sure be looking to make sure there’s a DeColt name on that trophy by the end of the WrestleFestival, because this is DeColt Cou…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The declaration is cut off by the familiar theme of Barry Bowen, the big man stomping out onto the ramp. He doesn’t say a word, just stares down the bewildered DeColt’s and then storms backstage. Steve DeColt might have beaten Bowen, but the runaway train is still firmly heading straight towards the DeColt’s.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The locker room of the DeColt’s as Alex tries to work out exactly what Barry Bowen’s next move is going to be. Jack says Bowen isn’t a puzzle that needs working out, he’s just a man who needs a few punches to the face. Steve isn’t so sure, he only beat Bowen by count out which means he’ll still be gunning for the CGC World Championship. Jack, in between swigs of good old Canadian beer, laughs it off, let Bowen come, they’ll knock him back down just like they always have.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The DeColt’s all take notice as Derek Barnes enters the room, later tonight he clashes with Alex DeColt in a DeColt Invitational match. Barnes says that they’re all worried about the old big man, when they should be worried about the new one. Jack laughs, Barnes is as old as they come. Barnes and Jack square up to each other before Alex steps in. Barnes fight isn’t with Jack, it’s with him, but around here they fight in the ring like men or rather like DeColt’s. That’s fine with Barnes, he’s been itching to knock out a DeColt for a long time now. He might not have got a chance to do it to dear old dad, but he’ll settle for the third most important son… for now.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We head to the interview area where Busick & Wheels are standing by to give a few words on moving on to the quarter finals of the Decolt Invitational when suddenly Land Mass strikes, charging straight into Busick and tackling him into and through the set! Busick and Land Mass are going at it right here, right now! Security rush in to break it up but it’s no good, these two bruisers sure as hell aren’t messing around. As security continues to intervene Helen Wheels just screams at Land Mass, and then… there’s music. Helen turns sideways…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

To find Mario Heroic, boombox held high over his head, swaying to the music. Helen Wheels screams some more, unimpressed. Oh Mario, why’ve you got to be so weird?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Brad Kelley is confident, cocky and experienced, and he knows exactly what he’s doing. Howling Dog does his usual war dance to kick things off, and Kelley rushes in and catches him with a running dropkick straight into the turnbuckle. Kelley works Dog over with some smartly executed strikes and holds, using his veteran experience to his fullest advantage. Howling Dog fights back, hits the flying clothesline, dropkick, big leaping DDT! Howling Dog goes up top, Tomahawk Chop… countered by a leaping dropkick! Kelley’s in firm control, sends Howling dog shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Slingshot Suplex! 1…2…3! Brad Kelley picks up his first CGC win in nearly four years and advances to the quarter finals.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Brad Kelley demands a microphone and starts talking about how everyone around here has probably forgotten him since his lacklustre run back in 93, but he’s back and it’s about time he gets the appreciation he deserves. See everyone around here seems to think that Alex DeColt is this smart guy, the “Thinking Man’s DeColt”, but really he’s just the smartest of a dumb lot of losers. See you’re all looking at the real smartest man in the business, and if Alex DeColt makes it past that big lug Derek Barnes tonight then he’ll teach him a real lesson in the quarter-finals at the hands of Mr. Excitement himself, Brad Kelley!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jon Jetson storms into the office of George DeColt, and he’s not happy. In fact, he’s furious. Not only has he been thrown into this ridiculous ego trip of a tournament but he doesn’t know who he’s facing in the first round. That was a mistake and he wants it sorted right now, he wants to know who his opponent’s going to be! George can’t help but smile, he’s put a lot of hard work selecting his special guests for this tournament, but there’s very few guests as special as the one who’ll be facing Jon Jetson in the first round. And next week his opponent is going to be at Title Bout Wrestling, so he suggests Jetson turn up too to find out. Jetson’s not happy, but when is he ever? He’ll be there, but George wants to pray that he doesn’t take out his ‘special guest’ before they even get to the match.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Barry Bowen is a huge, powerful man, his strength only topped by his single mindedness. Now he might be an American but for the past five years he’s called Canada his own. Huge, physically imposing and with a mean streak a mile wide he’s caused plenty of trouble for CGC, particularly for us DeColt’s. If there’s one thing that defines Bowen more than his hatred for us is his obsession with the CGC World Championship. He’s already held that title twice but ever since losing it at the end of 94 he’s been obsessed with getting it back, and that obsession makes him a very dangerous man here in CGC.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Alex DeColt is no small man, but for the second time in a month he finds himself standing opposite a considerably larger man, and one who knows how to use that size to his advantage. The moment the bell rings Barnes is on top of Alex, using his size and power to beat down the thinking man’s DeColt. It’s not a situation he’s used to, and Alex quickly finds himself fighting a losing battle. Barnes throws him into the corner and begins putting the boots in over and over and over. Whip across the ring, big splash in the corner. Alex is in serious trouble. Ride-by-kick… misses! Alex with the cutter! Alex starts pummelling on Barnes, goes for the DeColt Driver… but can’t lift the big man. Barnes with a headbutt! He whips him into the corner, more boots, another whip across the ring, another splash… but Alex dodges! Barnes hits the turnbuckle, Alex grabs him, uses the momentum and hits the DeColt Driver! Alex DeColt with the pinfall. 1…2…3!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Alex Decolt rises to his feet after a hard fought match, which is when Barry Bowen’s music begins to play and the big bad runaway train stomps out onto the ramp. Only that’s when he stops, again just standing, staring down at the ring, at Alex DeColt who stands ready for a fight.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

When out of nowhere Brad Kelley strikes, blasting Alex DeColt in the back of the head with the CGC World Tag Team Championship! The crowd erupt into boos as Jack & Steve DeColt run down to the ring, Steve pausing only momentarily to look at Bowen, who simply continues to stare and then stomps backstage. Kelley doesn’t wait around, rolling out of the ring as the DeColt’s slide in, Steve checking on Alex while Jack roars obscenities at Kelley over the ropes. Alex DeColt might have come out victorious tonight, but Brad Kelley has proven himself to be a very dangerous opponent in the DeColt Invitational.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

- Well that main event tanked, that’s the risk of some of these first round matches, I’ve brought in a few guys who don’t exactly have top tier popularity and CGC is a popularity driven company, so there might be a few risky main events over the next few months. Luckily the angles really dragged the final rating up, especially that opening segment which was easily my top rated angle so far. Good old DeColts.</p><p> </p><p>

- I should note that out of the eight guys I’ve brought in for the tournament one of them is a permanent addition while the rest are on short-term, tournament only appearances. I’m not telling anyone who it is just yet, maybe that’s a prediction question for down the line?</p><p> </p><p>

1. Midnightnick - 3/3</p><p>

2. gtaves - 2/3</p><p> </p><p>

And now the card for the next Title Bout Wrestling, we're only one show in so there's still a ton of time for people to get involved:</p><p> </p><p>
