In september 1995 started something that would forever change the wrestling industry, when WCW launched WCW Monday Nitro to directly compete against WWF's flagship show, Monday Night RAW. For many years had WWF dominated the wrestling scene completely, but was now seeing serious competition from WCW. These two giants would go head-to-head on mondays for the remainder of the decade, with smaller promotions being caught and squashed in the crossfire. The Monday Night Wars had begun...

http://rspw.org/tidbits/ its a archived site with dirt sheets dating back to 1990. Its awesome for getting a feel for playing historical mods (and just to read in general) has all the intended cards, ppvs and ofcourse the backstage news and rumours at the time. Currently reading all of 1995 to get a good feel for the year in anticipation for the release of mod.

Like anything in wrestling, just watch and draw your own conclusions.

Def agree with you guys, you can't beat watching old episofes of nitro/raw to get a feel for the time. But when your at work , you cant always sit there snf watch this without getting interrupted. Agree also he is a pretty negative dude. But what i personally find intresting is the updates he puts there direct from meltzers wrestling dirt sheets. I was a staunch wwf fan growing up. Wanting to play as wcw in this mod, its one thing to watch these episodes and another to get abit of background info and cthe cards that were intended before said injury happened and we got what was aired. Anyway , each to there own.

Thats awesome that you have all of that but not everybody does and I don't recall anyone 1. Asking you to look at it and 2. Offer it specifically to you. You expressed your opinion anyway which was strange but fine and now you continue to hammer home the same point as your first post. To quote my eight year old daughter "let it gooooo...let it goooo".

Awesome release. Hive, is it hard to keep updating two separate mods? There seems to be a consistency throughout both years. For example, if you edit a few workers stats in 1995 or vice vera----do you have to then go and make the same edits in 1994? How do you manage to do this? (This is why Excel Spreadshit database editing would allow for much easier modding in TEW.)
