The story is that Perez's tendency to go high risk winds up costing him and he almost crashes and burns out the match altogether when Waves covers him after a misdirected suicide dive. Inexperienced in singles matches, this absent-mindedness leads him into trouble several times. He fails to assert himself and simply can't out brawl Walls, not that he doesn't have moments, a Diving Elbow Drop from the top rope brings him a close near fall. But after a Snap Powerslam from Walls on the floor, it all goes south for the kid from New Mexico. The biggest man in the match at 250 pounds, there's a scary moment when Jake Idol hoists Jaguar onto his shoulders and drops him onto his knees with a Gutbuster. The luchador screams out in agony as Rich And Famous embrace the chance to gloat, mouthing off to the audience with Idol claiming to be "oh so dangerous baby!".</p><p> </p><p> Jaguar's ribs aren't helped by Jordan's subsequent Abdominal Stretch but he tags out to Tigre Salvaje Jr who comes in and runs wild. Arm Drags, Headscissor Takedowns for both the prima donna's and then a Hurricanrana sends Idol sprawling out of the ring under the bottom rope. Then Jordan nearly finds himself being put away after a "Tiger Fly" (Spanish Fly) if not for a crucial intervention. But in a sudden twist of fortune, it's Salvaje's own eagerness that costs him when he charges at both Idol and Jordan only to eat canvas after a vicious Double Flapjack. Jaguar tries his best against the odds but a Kitchen Sink to his injured ribs doubles him over before Idol picks up the W after a "Reality Check" (Rolling Cutter).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-size:8px;">Winners: Rick And Famous</span></p></div><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> Rating: C-</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> Notes: El Jaguar suffered cracked ribs. Although quicker, Frankie-Boy finds that Malloy's brawn is more than a match and thus, this winds up being a completely equal, open affair from start to finish. Malloy throws forearm smashes at every opportunity and although Frankie-Boy answers with plenty of impressive offence, the effects of the beating he's taking are plain to see. Fernandes brilliantly lands on his feet out of a German Suplex attempt but he rushes in with the "Dirt Nap" (Running Single Leg Dropkick) that Marvel dodges. Both Perez and Cougar acknowledge it, shake hands and get down to the battle ahead. Perez finds himself in command of the match, getting the better of Cougar as they exchange takedowns and holds. Determined to send Cougs away with an injury, Perez focuses his attacks on Cougar's left arm and halts his opponent's momentum with his educated feet every time he tries to get something going. Cougs fights through the pain and comes back with a Springboard DDT but Perez shuts him down almost instantly with a "Perfect Parity" (Fisherman's Face Buster), both moves were proceeded by dramatic near falls. As the two return to their feet, Cougs beats Perez to the punch with an Enzuigiri that reverberates to all corners of the Gorski Ballroom. Cougar comes off the top with a "Cougar Pounce" (Frog Splash) but Perez gets his knees up! Like most Donnie J matches, this is a friendly, sporting contest from the bell. Fox Mask wraps on an early headscissors and as he wrenches back, the "Please Don't Go!" chants begin. If Fox is distracted he doesn't show it, keeping his focus to make sure the Coastal Zone Champion is exactly where he wants him. The match meanders in the middle as both guys go through the motions but thankfully it picks up towards the end. Fox picks up a red hot near fall with the "Fox Flip Off DDT", the idea of him leaving with the title striking a chord with the Coastal Zone loyalists. Donnie notices him and once again wonders what Super Ninja wants, who again points at the Coastal Zone Championship as though it's his only focus and he doesn't care one iota about the scenes taking place before him.
