ICW: Enter The Asylum

Recommended Posts

In the six years that have passed since ICW was revived by Mark Dallas in 2010, it has seen praise from legends of the industry such as Mick Foley and Paul Heyman, as well as appearances on shows from stars such as Rhyno, Sabu, Mr. Anderson, Mick Foley and in November at Fear and Loathing, Kurt Angle!

Currently, ICW is in a difficult time following the loss of several stars. The first ever ICW Women's Champion was crowned at Fear and Loathing last November when Viper won the belt, but soon lost it as she wrestled more and more in Japan with Stardom.

Also leaving the Women's Division was "The Best in the Galaxy" Nikki Storm as she left for NXT earlier this year and the ICW Tag Team Champions Polo Promotions also left the company, although they left with with the titles!

As it stands, ICW is just a month away from Shug's Weekender which will end with Shug's Hoose Party live from Glasgow with Joe Coffey finally getting his shot at the ICW World Heavyweight Championship against "The Beast of Belfast" Big Damo.

Jester winning, probably because of interference from the Black Label being a heel stable and all</p><p>

Kenny Williams vs Stevie Boy</p><p>

Stevie Boy winning, although I love Kenny more than anyone on the ICW roster, Stevie is higher on the card and Kay Lee Ray could get involved</p><p>

Lionheart for the win because he's Lionheart and takes selfies with his dug</p><p>

Episode One of Season Three of ICW Fight Club kicks off live on Nuvolari, The Fight Network and ICW on Demand from The Garage in Glasgow in front of a sell out crowd with the music of the former ICW Tag Team Champions The 55, as they make their way to the ring for tonight's opening contest.

ICW Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarter Final: Moustache Mountain vs. The 55

The 55 defeated Moustache Mountain in 12:35 when Sha Samuels pinned Tyler Bate with a Mugsmasher to advance to the Semi Finals of the tournament, to the crowd's disdain.

Trent Seven: http://imgur.com/cTBH0Za

Tyler Bate: http://imgur.com/6QVDqBB

The camera then cuts backstage where Jennifer Louise is stood by with everyone's favourite Champagne Super Nova, Noam Dar. She asks him for his thoughts going into tonight's main event where he will challenge Lionheart for the Zero-G Championship to which he replies:

"For three months now, Lionheart has held that championship. The championship that six years ago Jennifer, I was the first holder of. Well until Lionheart beat me for it, and then I won it back from him a couple months later. Do you see what I'm getting at there Jennifer? I beat Lionheart twice when I was 16. And now, I'm a lot older and I'm a lot better than I was then. And don't get me wrong, Lionheart's a great wrestler and there's nothing he won't do to keep that championship. But I've beaten him twice for that title before, and quite honestly, there's nothing I'd love more than to make that two a three."

The camera then moves to the ringside area where the crowd is shown erupting as "The Power of Love" blasts through the Garage as Kenny Williams makes his way to the ring for the next match.

Kenny Williams vs. Stevie Boy

The Black Label's Stevie Boy defeated Kenny Williams in 11:23 by pinfall with a Devil's Halo following a distraction from Kay Lee Ray.

An advertisement for the upcoming Shug's Hoose Party III then plays on the screen and Fight Club returns with The Black Label making their way to the ring, led by ICW Majority Owner Red Lightning.

Lightning stands in the ring, accompanied by Jack Jester and Wolfgang as the crowd loudly chant "Red Lightning is a wanker", making sure that The Black Label know what they think of him. Eventually the chant dies down, after multiple threats from Jester, and Red begins to speak. He says:

"In a few weeks time, Insane Championship Wrestling will be returning to The Barrowlands for Shug's Hoose Party III. And on that show, is a six man tag team match where Mark Dallas will select three people to represent him, and those three people will then be decimated by three people of my choice.

And that has led me to think, which three people would be the very best at getting rid of Mark Dallas for good? And after a while, I created the best three man team that ICW will ever see, as representing both The Black Label and myself against Mark Dallas' team of idiots will be former ICW World Heavyweight Champion Jack Jester, future ICW World Heavyweight Champion and the current holder of the ICW Square Go Briefcase Wolfgang and the two-time ICW World Heavyweight Champion, Drew Galloway! So Dallas buddy, I'll see you on July 28th."

The music of former ICW Zero-G and World Heavyweight Champion Mikey Whiplash echoes throughout The Garage as the crowd goes silent in anticipation for what is likely to be a brutal war between him and Jack Jester.

Jack Jester vs. Mikey Whiplash

Then in a brutal match, Jack Jester defeated Mikey Whiplash in 11:12 by pinfall following a Tombstone Piledriver onto several steel chairs.

The camera then cuts backstage where Jennifer Louise is stood by with a very confident Lionheart. She notices this, and asks him why he's so confident since Noam Dar has defeated him twice before for the Zero-G Championship, which turns Lionheart's smug grin into a giant frown as he says:

"Jennifer, what you just said is correct, but do you what else it is? It's the past. And I don't live in the past Jennifer. I live in the present. And I won't lie, hell I'll even be the first to admit that back then, I underestimated Noam Dar. I thought that he was just some kid Dallas had dragged in from down the road. But it turned out he was a really good wrestler. And, he still is. But I'm better. And that is why I'm Zero-G Champion and Noam isn't. And that's why after tonight, I will still be Zero-G Champion because 1. I am better than Noam Dar, and 2. I'll die before someone beats me for this belt."

Joe Coffey is shown putting his ring attire back into his bag when Veronica LeStrange enters the room and asks him for his opinion following his decisive victories on the last two episodes of Fight Club. Joe says:</p><p> </p><p>

"Over the past two weeks, I have dominated two stalwarts of the ICW roster, just like I have done to many more people on the roster since I made my debut here a long time back. <p>ICW Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarter Final: The Filthy Generation vs. <strong>The Local Fire</strong></p><p>

Comments: I'd rather see The Filthy Generation go over, but I doubt your be putting them over when you could be putting over Joe Hendry.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kenny Williams</strong> vs. Kid Fite</p><p>

Comments: Just a feel good babyface win I'm guessing.</p><p> </p><p>

Lewis Girvan vs. <strong>ICW Square Go Briefcase Holder Wolfgang</strong></p><p>

Comments: I'm going to assume your want to put Wolfgang over to build momentum for The Black List.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ICW World Heavyweight Champion Big Damo</strong> vs. Mikey Whiplash</p><p>

Comments: Going for the local guy.</p>
