Okay, so, lemme be real for a minute.

The new site and forums are great and all, I check it every day.

But let me tell you, it may make things easier for diary writers, but it's confusing as all hell to for diary readers.

Things seem very all over the place, like there's forty different links for each diary and things seem to be in weird order.

I dunno. Maybe I'm stupid.

Are you reading diaries, or are you just looking at the page with recent updates and going off that?

You realise that each diary actually has its own page with the posts in order? That is the idea, that readers will use that. There is a link under each one to "view diary".

You're just looking at the page of recent updates, not an actual list of diaries. That's where I can appreciate you think it looks messy, but the number of updates there can be controlled in the backend.

The main forum should be used to list and post the diary threads, to give people the option of each using a flat forum thread model (like on GDS), or organise it through the dynasty diary feature which provides an automatic index, subscription based features, and the ability to read through a diary without having to read individual comments too.

There is an FAQ and example threads in the main forum for how to use the feature. Bit early days to write it off and I'm sure there's a bit of confusion - which is fine.

The feature is basically just blogs plugged into the forum, and I've always written my TEW diaries on a blog rather than use a forum thread, its just easier to read and follow. Unless you've never used blogs before, I'm not sure whats so hard to understand.

I do take some of your points though and will make some adjustments, thanks.

There really shouldn't be a need to discuss a forum (WN) on a different forum (here) when you can just do it there <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Thanks.</p>
