When I looked at the Nerf Herders team and saw Forte wasn't RB1 or RB2 I just about had a heart attack, then noticed him at flex. Whew.

So, er... I appreciate all the time and effort and the last drop of what little remaining credibility you had that you poured into this mission to destroy the Patriots, Mr Goodell, but frankly they're ridiculous, and I'm willing to believe that Bill Belichic could turn the Cleveland Browns into a winning team at this point. He may be easy to hate but my God he's good.

And shoutout to Phil Sims for calling him Bill Parcells way more times that Nantz should've let him get away with (though to be fair to Jim, I prefer to imagine that he's perfected the art that all husbands do eventually where you can tune out most of the crap your wife is blathering on about and only actually listen to the bits that need a response). That was 20 years ago Phil. Right about the time you last said something that made any sort of sense.

Listen, Mr Rivers, I dropped 26 points of Matt Stafford for you. I realise your team is held together with duct tape and half the practice squad are on the field, but that's no excuse for 4 points.

 

When I saw Kelvin Benjamin end up on zero points I thought I had this. Now thanks to Rivers and DeAngelo, with Christine Michael being on my bench, I'm not so sure. :'(

So with two players left to play for E-V, he needs Matt Ryan and Brandin Cooks to combine for 58 points. Do-able, certainly. Gonna be close!

 

As an aside, my bench has outscored E-V's actual team so far 83-73 (my bench also have two guys still to play).

 

I'm liking this team I've got. Now if only I could get the start/sit calls right...

3-0, unlike my Steelers. I'd like to say thank you to Cam Newton and Drew Brees for completely ignoring their WR1s this week and torpedoing any chance EV had. That really helped a lot. Brees deserves extra credit for Sneed being injured and yet still only giving Cooks 2 receptions (I guess Trufant can share that thanks for keeping him covered for me).

 

So, ummm. My bench would've beaten every single losing team this week except Ayden, who would've won by a point.

 

... I need to make better decisions. ¬_¬ To be fair though, Dennis Pitta over Coby Fleener was a good decision based on previous weeks. DeAndre Hopkins over Tavon Austin, too, was 'obvious'. DeAngelo Williams over Christine Michael... ehh, even if Williams wasn't basically my personal Jesus and a Steeler, the form book says he gets that slot, injury to Rawls or not. Rivers vs. Indianapolis vs. Stafford vs. Green Bay? C'mon, nobody chooses Stafford!

 

The only questionable move I think I made was Steve Smith over Tavon Austin/Christine Michael at Flex, and ironically Steve was one of my better decisions.
