How to create a match

Recommended Posts

In the match selection screen, click on Create Match. The match type will default to whatever you had selected, but you can change that.

Under Match Type, the fourth option on the left side, you can choose what sort of match you want. Battle Royals start at 10 competitors, otherwise you can have up to 6 way singles matches which can be set to have timed entrances and throw from ring eliminations. No 8 man matches, I'm afraid, although you could have a 4-way tag match and finish it off with a 1v1 match between the winning team as an alternative.

You've said what I thought would be the answer. Shame you cant create you own matches with selective numbers. Its fine I'll use the 10man battle royal match and pick two other random guys for it.

They are a bit unusual, but I don't see why the game need to limit us from having 7, 8 or 9 man matches... Especially smaller promotions I imagine could well do an 8 man battle royal.

Indeed I mean for my purposes it was to kick off an 8 man tourney where the members of the tourney would first meet in a battle royal before proceeding in the following week in tournament against each other. in my head the royal/Rumble was how the seeding would have taken place. first out being number 8 the winner being number 1 meaning they would meet in the first round
