danjanow
If I don't pick a winner, does the CPU decides who wins based just on popularity? Is there any randomness to it?
AfRoMaN36
In my experience, the more over person wins and the champions retain. It's more predictable and pro status quo than an episode of RAW.

Almost always the more over worker will win but I've seen workers in storylines lose to less over workers if the less over worker has a higher momentum in the storyline. That's 100% purely anecdotal, too.</p><p> </p><p> /shrug</p>
JP317
I've found it to be a little random at times, I once quit and reloaded because I forgot to pick the winners in a tag title triple threat in my 1997 WCW game and Mike Modest & Donovan Morgan won them, they were Enhancement/Openers and the other two teams were made up of Mid-Upper Mid card guys, the worst part was that I was talking to someone when I quit, forgot why I quit, ran the card again and the same thing happened so I had to reload again. Seems like the game really wanted them to be champs <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
LoganRodzen
<p>I book like this A LOT and I can tell you that titles do in fact change hands and it isn't always the most popular person that comes out on top. I've booked matches (plural) where the loser complains, so I change it to having nobody as the winner (leaving it up to the AI) and the person I wanted to win ends up winning (this has happened to me more than a handful of times). The loser doesn't get hit by morale because I didn't set it to happen. I almost think its tied to the road agent for the match. </p><p> </p><p> All I know is titles do change hands and the booking is not as predictable as an episode of RAW. I do it because it keeps my games fresh by having my plans changed. Nothing in life goes smoothly... nothing.</p>

But in my limited times using it, it's always gone with the safe bet.</p>
Greylocke
I book like this A LOT and I can tell you that titles do in fact change hands and it isn't always the most popular person that comes out on top. The loser doesn't get hit by morale because I didn't set it to happen. I almost think its tied to the road agent for the match. I do believe the choice of Road Agent affects who wins the match, although I'm not sure what determines the choice. Maybe it's his booking bias? Maybe relationships play a part. I wonder if this can be taken advantage of....to get titles off popular and egotistical workers....especially those with Creative Control. Say if Jack Bruce doesn't want to drop the title to Angry Gilmore.....maybe set Jessie Gilmore as the RA just for this match and let her decide the winner? Of course, Jessie's low Psychology will pull down the match grades, but just make sure you don't set this as your actual main event and the penalty shouldn't be too high, given how popular and skilled the workers are (and also the Call In Ring note to help alleviate some of the damage from poor RA).
