[HYPE] The Hostile Era (August 2016 Fantasy Real World Mod)

This mod is a fantasy real world mod based in August 2016 called "The Hostile Era."

 

Backstory:

The powerhouse that is World Wrestling Entertainment has had financial troubles due to economy woes, poor management, and fans turning against their once beloved wrestling company. Due to this, WWE has had to sell their infamous developmental company, NXT. They sold it to none other than former arch-nemesis Eric Bischoff. Other companies like New Japan and Ring of Honor are now jocking for position to become the next world power in wrestling due to WWE's misfortunes. With the wrestling world in shambles, what company will emerge as the next top dog?

 

WWE:

*Raw has reduced to 1 hour and 30 minutes long.

*Has had financial troubles and starts off with $1 million

*Have had to cut their roster size.

*Notable superstars released and are now free agents: AJ Styles, Anderson & Gallows, Alberto Del Rio, Paige, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Zack Ryder, The Dudley Boyz, The Vaudevillains, Cesaro, Mark Henry, Baron Corbin, Sheamus, and Rhyno are among the bigger names that were released.

*Has fallen to cult size.

*Smackdown has shutdown

*Superstars has shutdown

*Main event has shutdown

*Due to financial trouble, NXT has been sold. The company has now been turned hostile against WWE.

*Has D for momentum

 

NXT:

*Due to financial trouble, the WWE sold NXT to Eric Bischoff

*The company is now hostile towards WWE

*Starts off with $500,000

*Is cult size.

*Has C for momentum.

*Starts off with a TV show called NXT Evolution.

*Has removed all traces to former parent company WWE.

 

Other companies:

New Japan Pro Wrestling, TNA, Ring of Honor, CMLL and Lucha Underground have all seen an opening in the wrestling world now that WWE has dropped in size. All five companies have gained popularity due to fans of wrestling looking for something new now that WWE's numbers have fallen. This being said, they have all turned hostile against each other trying to become the next big wrestling company.

 

Some wrestling companies have been closed due to slow loading screens.

 

Mod development:

I'm looking for someone to make NXT logos, events, & title belt pictures without the WWE logo in them. This is just for a more realistic feel because NXT is no longer owned by WWE in this mod.

 

This mod was made by me, iScreamBars. I didn't have any help with anything that I did. I am looking for some help with pictures and stuff like that, so if you'd like to help contact me. I will give all credit where it is due. I didn't create the mod that this is based off.

Based on your concept I'd have New Japan take over as number one promotion in the world, maybe with them trying to break the American market. Along with that I'd have Lucha Underground come in below WWE and NXT with TNA and ROH fighting below them. I'd have CMLL as a top dog in Mexico with AAA trying to use Lucha Underground to break into America.
