Wow.... hmmm.... I'm going to guess Ospreay/Ishihi/YOSHI-HASHI vs. KUSHIDA/Elgin/Honma. Match 2 of Night 3.

These are so dang impossible to predict. On the Road To shows... anyone can win

I won't predict on these because, you know, Road To shows are pretty annoying to book let alone predict on. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

May I recommend something similar to my World Pro Wrestling write-ups? I found that covering these shows one by one led to a drop in reader interest, it seems the tighter, more story-driven World Pro Wrestling shows were better for my readers and you may well find the same.

With regards the B+ rated match, I'm thinking it's Togi Makabe & Juice Robinson vs. Katsuyori Shibata & Yuji Nagata. That match is loaded with talent, even Juice can go and Makabe is usually a ratings machine due to a high psychology cancelling out most of his physical limitations.

I might do one massive post of "Road to Results", with a little write up on top and then just a quote with every match result posted. I think keeping predictions for just the PPVs and stuff like the New Japan Cup would be best. Gotta keep the readers entertained!

I can't make this stuff up and I guess that's why we love TEW. As for predictions, I am going with Mootinie's suggestion and not going to post them for these "Road to" shows as it is just too much and too hard to figure out. With that being said, OwenRey went a very respectable 11 of 18! Congrats on that and I appreciate the effort, but I am going to save the next predictions for the New Beginning PPVs. Results for nights 5 and 6 will most likely be posted tonight, along with the final cards for the PPVs.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/watchxyoxface/NJPW-Logo_1.png

The night ended on a high note as Hirooki Goto addressed the crowd, proclaiming that he would take the title away from the Bullet Club once and for all! He showcased his diverse offense, picking up the win over Tama Tonga with the Goto Ni Shiki, his modified arm wrench inside cradle pinning combo. Both heel groups suffered defeat, as Hiroshi Tanahashi pinned Kamaitachi with a High Fly Flow in the semi-main event. Fans were buzzing that this show was on par with the last, featuring quality match after quality match.

NJPW "Road to the New Beginning", 2/7/17
Tsukisamu Green Dome

5,830 fans - Super No Vacancy

Show rating: B

1. Night 6 will be a bit more stacked, as I am going with the NEVER Six Man Tag Team Titles in the main event. Unlike many nights on this tour, it was not Hirooki Goto who picked up the victory, but Kazuchika Okada, as the Rainmaker and his partners Roppongi Vice captured the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Titles by defeating Los Ingobernables de Japón in a wild match that saw the action continue after the bell.

Okada pinned BUSHI to return the title to CHAOS, but that did not stop the masked member of Los Ingobernables from blowing some poison mist in the eyes of the Rainmaker after the match had ended. EVIL and SANADA took out Roppongi Vice, while BUSHI hit an MX on Okada. With his partners disposed and Okada all alone, EVIL came into the ring and hit a brutal EVIL onto a chair.

The fans were in shock as Los Ingobernables were leaving the ring, but Gedo quickly grabbed the mic and berated the rudos. Before long, Okada was on his feet, and, despite the damage to his eyes, he issued a challenge to EVIL to face him in a singles match where he wouldn't be able to rely upon Los Ingobernables for help. EVIL, as usual, remained silent and stormed out of the arena. CHAOS celebrated in the ring with their new title belts.

The full cards for the New Beginning in Osaka and in Niigata will be released shortly!

NJPW "Road to the New Beginning", 2/9/17
Suminoe Boat Race Place

8,000 fans - Super No Vacancy

Show rating: B

1.
