Dr_Avalanche
I was looking at how my storylines were developing, and realized I'm about to pit a group of heels versus another group of heels, and was starting to wonder how big a deal this is. My company's product has a face/heel divide (or I wouldn't be asking...), it's heavy on traditional good vs evil storytelling, so is repeated heel vs heel matches going to hurt match ratings? Do I have to turn an entire stable face to make this thing work, or should I just scrap the storyline?
Dochappy
that happened to me a lot playing as maw. I turned off the face/heel divide and just have the actual heels just win via heelish ways. it's opened up my booking a lot and has set up some great match ups. woody316
I'd be interested to know just how big an impact this has on the match ratings etc. as I find myself at points where a heel v heel or face v face feud is needed but never now just what damage I am doing to the wrestlers or company by having these kind of feuds (particularly if they are long term feuds).

I have beem tempted to just turn it off but I like to have the seperation on booking screens that the heel/face divide gives you.

Maybe there would be a way to have a middle ground where the company can have no divide, a full divide or a partial divide where fans prefer to see good v evil but it wouldn't do as much damage to have a face v face/heel v heel feud?
Teh_Showtime
I've ran a few heel vs heel matches and have gotten really good ratings on them, this one I posted in the random screenshot thread

http://i.imgur.com/NylhTEI.png

I think if you have a storyline with good heat for the match it will do well, it would probably be much worse if you threw it out cold on TV. I managed to get a B+ heel vs heel match out of Wolf vs Khoklov as well
d12345
Face vs Face and heel vs heel get dinged but they do nearly as well as they'd do otherwise. Product depends
BrokenCycle
Face vs face and heel vs heel matches are actually a really great way of creating new midcard matches. If you're running weekly shows, it's really difficult to not run the same midcard matches over and over without realizing it. Doing them really opens up your midcard if you use them every once in a while. And from my experience the penalty is pretty insignificant.
Greylocke
Besides, if your Crowd Management is turned on, the Face/Face or Heel/Heel penalties can be placed strategically in the spots of your card where you want to "cool the crowd" after a hot segment.

Just don't use them for your Main Events, and you should be find. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
Dr_Avalanche
That is a problem, because it is precisely in the main event this is about to occur... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Ah well. I'll take the hit. I feel like I am currently playing on easy mode with about 20 points margin most nights before I don't get popularity growth in the area where I'm holding shows. But it's good to know for the future when margins no doubt grow smaller.
Romans_Brass_Shovel
I run performance = popularity and I had a 60 minute iron man match between KC Glenn and Mikey James when they were both upper Midcard babyfaces.

Scored a 96
