Greylocke
Note that in reality events lose their strength over time, but I am going to ignore that for these examples for clarity. I'd just like some clarity regarding this bit - does it apply to the game too? Say, if a worker is "Angry" and it lasts a year, will he stay "Angry" for the entire year or does it fade slowly to "Annoyed" and "Irritated" over time? The latter would make more sense, I think. So maybe a level 1 positive doesn't help against a level 3 negative within the same month.....but maybe it can help if you try it 9 months (when he's no longer as angry about the initial issue)? Yes, it fades down to lower levels over time. You can look in the pre-game editor and the starting morale settings to see exactly how things work. Again, this is all explained in detail in the Roster -> Morale -> "?" button that I've mentioned in this thread.
smartman
Sorry if there was any confusion Adam. When I said they don't stack, I meant the game treats 4 $10,000 bonuses as 4 separate $10,000 bonuses instead of 1 $40,000 bonus. Yes, you can give out over $300,000 (I actually did give Taker $150,000 in the late 90's mod) under the old system, and they would give you 30 positive notes in the morale screen. As you said though, that didn't do anything if the wrestler was angry. The new system was sorely needed, and I'm happy you put it in.
DomNWO
Well thank you for clarifying. That actually makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for the explanation, Adam.
