- Who is the masked man who attacked Bret Hart during his match against his brother, Owen, a few weeks ago? The identity of the assailant has been kept under wraps at Titan Towers, but the likely culprits would be Dynamite Kid, Bruce Hart or Keith Hart - with The British Bulldog, who currently seems to be employed by WCW, as a seemingly unlikely outsider. Either choice makes storyline sense, keeping the feud "in the family".

- Speaking of the devil, Davey Boy Smith showed up in Calgary court to face assault charges stemming from a bar altercation last year. On the evening of 07/25/93, while visiting Calgary, Smith is alleged to have been involved in a barroom brawl which ended with the other guy suffering some brain damage. Kody Light suffered a fractured skull, lost hearing in one ear, lost the ability to speek clearly, and has memory difficulties. This incident may well have played a role in WCW firing Smith last year (a firing they clearly later regretted, as they recently re-hired him), although the official reason was that Smith missed too many scheduled dates. Smith immediately hightailed it to England and worked some dates there. He said back then that he would return to face the charges when his tour was over.

What's going on in WCW

-Rick Rude returned to the company in early October, but he is not the same man that left at the beginning of the year. The Barbarian attacked Sting at Clash of the Champions and the two appear on a collision course. Sting is said to be devastated that he contributed to Rude's current state.

-Davey Boy Smith's troubles with his fellow Brits continue. Not directly feuding with Steven Regal anymore, Smith now faces off with the colossal Giant Haystacks! Haystacks distracted Davey Boy the month prior and now wants to prove that HE is the true legend of British Wrestling!

-Following the events of the WarGames, former friends Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson are at war, determined to prove to each other which "Brain Buster" is truly the best.

-Gary Hart's protege, Hakushi, is set to eliminate all competition in WCW. Hart is a dark brooding individual and has referred to himself as a harbinger of what's to come, saying he works for a "Higher Power."

-The Monster Vader lost control in Japan, attacking Jushin Liger. The two will meet at Halloween Havoc!

-Scott Hall debuted at War Games to help Dustin and Dusty Rhodes defeat the Stud Stable. He is now the target of Col. Parker's rage!

-After retiring Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Steve Austin will now face off against another Dragon, Tatsumi Fujinami! Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel has told Austin he has a "surprise" in store for him at Halloween Havoc, infuriating Austin!

-Hulk Hogan is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, much to the chagrin of Ric Flair. The Nature Boy is determined to get his belt back!

Just when the two men are about to erupt into a fist fight, a familiar tune plays and out marches...MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE! The crowd goes wild as Savage stands at ringside nodding his head and playing to the crowd. Commissioner Bockwinkel announces that Savage will be the "Special Enforcer!" (A+)

Hulk Hogan & Sting d. Chono & Tenzan (B+)

Match Notes: Randy Savage was on commentary and said he wouldn't take sides at Havoc. The Barbarian interfered and attacked Sting, but Hogan overcame the odds and took out Chono and Tenzan all by himself!
