So....I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Rob Feinstein is still listed as the owner of Ring of Honor. Rob Feinstein resigned from ROH in March of 2004 after he was caught allegedly trying to solicit sex from an underage boy. I'm not sure if by January of 2005 ROH had already had the majority of its shares sold to Carey Silkin, but for simplicity's sake it may be best to make him the owner of ROH.

Just a heads up Milano Collection A.T. wasn't retired in 2005 he retired in 2010. as for some of the Japanese People that could be added to the Database.Go Shiozaki, Taiji Ishimori, Yasushi Tsujimoto (Brother YASSHI) Yujiro Takahashi and Masato Yoshino are not in the database. im sure this was just a over sight but i'd figured i would post it.

Hey everyone, sorry for being so quiet about this mod for a while. As I said, I've been dealing with some family stress so I haven't had much time to work on this, but as things are slimming down now I'll get back to work on this slowly.

I haven't done much work on the pic pack unfortunately but I'll post the background so if anyone wants to do their own cuts and share it with others they're very much welcome to:

http://i.imgur.com/4ZnjHuD.png (the file is .PNG, probably be better if you'd save the cuts as .JPG to save space)

As for the updates posted for ROH and Japan wrestlers, I'll work on them right away! Thanks everyone.

I hope to have an update coming sometime during the end of the month, start of August.

Looking forward to it! It can be a slog, especially when setbacks like that happen, but I'm very much looking forward to the update and the completion of the pic pack!

Thanks for the words, guys! Excited to be working on this again.

The pic pack is coming in nicely, I've got WWE and TNA(and whoever they were signed to at the time) workers done and I'm hoping it will be 100% done by the next update. I won't do agers or another kind of graphics outside of People as I want to concentrate on the active workers for now.

As for changes on the database:

I've added the rest of the Joshi Companies (mostly Yet-to-Debut).

I've went back and changed CM Punk's stats as they were indeed vastly overrated for that time and also changed a couple of other ROH and TNA workers.

I've added Max_Marvelous's Japanese workers that he suggested and made Milano active again.

I've also changed ROH's owner to Cary Silkin as per Xmaspast. Rob Feinstein is now involved in a scandal for the next 3 years as I don't think he had any sort of involvement in Wrestling again after that.

I'm hoping to do more and do a couple of test runs to see what happens and what needs to be retweaked again before releasing the update. Again sorry everyone for being quiet for so long but I'm hoping to release monthly updates again unless there's a major bug or error in the database.

2.0 Beta Release

Well, hello there. It's been quite a while since the last update - unfortunately I've had some life problems that I won't bore you with and then my old PC crashed which meant I lost all the pic pack progress.

But none of that matters now, because I'm releasing a new update alongside the beta version of the Pic Pack which contains every WWE and OVW worker (ROH, TNA and NJPW to follow)

I skipped 1.9 because I felt the changes I've done to the mod since are quite substantial. I've been trying to make the mod a bit more balanced which meant I've gone ahead and decreased WWE's popularity (I've also tweaked ROH, TNA and NJPW's) and I've gone through some of their major stars at the time and made him a bit more realistic to their real-life counterparts at the time. This was done because I felt the mod was a bit too generous in some of the ratings it gave.

Like it was said in the thread, CM Punk was also one of the major workers in the game already so I've gone ahead and tweaked his stats. He's still a good wrestler and mic worker with potential to be great which I feel is close to real-life. Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, Fergal Devitt, Samoa Joe and a few others also have had their stats tweaked.

Every change that was suggested in this thread over the time has also been added

Of course, this is a big change for the mod so if none of you are happy with it, you're welcome to use the older 1.8 version. Like always, every bit of feedback is helpful and if the consensus is that the new changes are not good, I have no problem in reverting back.

Here are some previews of the pic pack:

No problem. Truth be told, I'm working on a 2002 mod, so I have a series of notes of employment history for wrestlers. I'll let you know if I see anything else as I test your mod out. It's very well put together.

Best of luck with your mod, my man. You're planning on releasing it here?

Also your help is much appreciated, but I can't take the credit for the mod haha, I've only really updated some of the problems once Lukke_Arthur wasn't able to maintain it anymore, him and That Kryten Guy are the ones that made it a possibility.

Howard Finkle shouldn’t even be in the data. Ring announcers aren’t meant to be.

Especially if they’re only doing house shows. That’s just bloating the data.

That almost as bad as including Spanish announcers for American companies.

That is just wrong. Howard Finkle is a legend. Him not being in the data would be hilarious. Personalitys belong in the data, no matter what their role is.
